An analysis of bridge perimeter of river channel change and sediment concentration distribution characeristic (교량 주변 하도구간에서 하상변동 및 유사농도 분포 특성분석)

  • Recently many studys have been continued Nak-Dong river. This study recognized the importance about a rivers floor change. The Nak-Dong main river of railroad bridge(2.423Km) waegwan-eup, Cilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do analyzed to the SED2D-WES model. This study recognized the difference of the model according to the existence and nonexistence of the bridge piers. At a result of mean velocity current is higher in bridge option appeared in this case. As well sediment transportation model show that river bed change appear the part of velocity is low.

  • In the rail facilities the rail track consists of rail tie fastening accessories and bed,. The rail track is largely divided into Ballast Bed Track(BBT) and Concrete Bed Track(CBT) according to the type of bed. In this thesis among Concrete Bed Track slab track which is used for the Japanese high speed railway is a target of this study. Dynamic analysis by using finite element method are performed. where moving rain load is periodic function. Then through parametric study some conclusions are obtained as follow. Cement Asphalt Mortar(CAM) affects contrary mechanical behavior to rail and slab greatly. Therefore change of CAM spring coefficient should be handled with care, For slab thickness thin slab is more profitable to reduction of vibration of rail than thick one but mechanical capacity of slab is deteriorated, Improved structural type is proposed then structural analysis is performed for this one. This type is effective to reduction of vibration of railway system.

  • Transport of bed load and suspended particle in coastal waters is main factor causing change in shoreline, and effective measurement method and appropriate equipment is required. To measure bed load and suspended particle transport an equipment was designed and manufactured, and it was applied in the field. The equipment consists of four main elements, body supporter, bed load and suspended particle sampler, sampler support and lock. Eight samplers were installed along the circumference of each supporter, and each sample is a 45-degree intervals. The field experiment was done once along Gyeongpo beach in August 2013. This note described the design and function of the equipment and results of field experiments.

  • Heat transfer on packed bed is considered to be important for the effective designs of chemical reaction equipment, air conditioning system, and storage type heat exchanger, etc. Currently studies are being carried out quite actively in this field in order to increase the heat transfer efficiency. The effect of heat transfer is closely relater to materials, shapes, porosities and packing states of packed bed as well as mutual dimensional relations between particles and the container. Investigation shows that heat transfer results appear to be influenced by such parameters as fluid velocity through packed bed, mass flow, and thermal properties. It is noted that viscosity is also considered to be an important factor in this problem. In this study, effective thermal conductivities on packed bed, effects of thermal conductivity (Ke) and friction factor (Fk) according to change of porosity(.epsilon.) and Reynolds number(Reh(, and pressure loss of the fluid, are experimentally investigated. Results show that the effective thermal conductivity increases and the friction factor decreased, as against the increase of Reynolds number. But as the increase of porosity increase them both.

  • Advertising provides consumers with information about products, purchasing effect and criteria. Advertising of the domestic bed companies started in the 1990's and each company focused on publicizing its brand. As the times change, however, they begin to express the quality-property which consumers demanded in the advertising. This research examined the advertising trends in the domestic and foreign bed companies. Also, it presents how the quality control (QC) is reflected on the advertising of the domestic and foreign bed companies. As a result of the analysis on bed-advertising of them, the things mostly represented as a determinant of product quality are performance, shape/quality, recognition and reliability. On the side of consumers, however, service, durability and stability are mirrored in the advertising and help choose the products as the determinants.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of brick paved under-surface soil physical properties which are changed by fixed trampling. Thus, a sandy loam which is known as a profitable soil for plants is used an experimental soil to study the changes of the soil physical properties. It is related to sand bed's thickness & particle size which are settled by experimental variable factors. According to the variation of sand bed's particle size, bulk density and soil hardness at natural dryed soilcondition result in 0.075~2.00mm>2.00~5.00mm>2.00~8.00mm>5.00~8.00mm, and water content at natural dryed soil condition are observed being insensible change rate from the point that sand thickness is 30~40mm and more sand bed's thickness constructed by the variation of sand bed's thickness.

  • As for track maintenance, Seoul Metro executes track bed improvement project from obsolete ballast track bed to concrete track bed in order to achieve maintenance free and to extend its LCC(Life Cycle Costing). When it comes to obsolete ballast track bed withdrawal task, now it is done solely relying on man power and ballast inhalation vehicle. In this paper, I suggested ballast cleaning system with lighter equipment to change manpower withdrawal tasks to mechanized ones. It is expected to improve work efficiency and economic benefits by applying track excavator having variable wheels and container etc, which is able to keep on the site.

Determination of the Optimal Sediment Discharge Formula for Hyeongsan River Using GSTARS (GSTARS모형을 이용한 형산강의 최적 유사량공식 결정)

  • Quasi-two dimensional numerical model (GSTARS) was applied to determine the optimal sediment discharge formula for simulating the sedimentologic characteristics of Hyeongsan river. The field measurements have been conducted to obtain the data, such as sediment discharge, bed material, and channel geometry, for model calibration and verification. The sediment discharge formulas, which have been generally used, have been assessed according to the average error, relative error, RMSE, RRMSE, discrepancy ratio and Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency coefficient for bed changes along the thalweg. From the results, Laursen formula(1958) shows the best performance to simulate the long-term bed change of Hyeongsan river.
