This study aims to develop a proper face design for traditional fashion doll so that the Korean traditional doll can achieve its stand in the modern collection with the new face design based on researching documents, analyzing the examples and delivering a customer survey. The majority of dolls in traditional costume has an innocent look with inverted triangle shape face. But the inverted triangle or oval shape as well as the refined look of well balanced facial features are preferred. An oval face, elongated eyes with no double eyelid or inner double eyelid, plump lips and round and high nose are considered beautiful in the traditional figure. Based on this result, a new design is configured with an inverted triangular face with slightly plump cheeks, eyes with reduced eye, pupil and double eyelid, round nose without tuning up and small and full lower lip.

The patient's appearance can be dramatically enhanced as a result of orthognathic surgery. However, esthetic contouring of the mandibular body portion is often overlooked in the surgery. Restoring a more beautiful jaw line is important and directly affects surgical results. From December 2010 to February 2012, we performed mandibular body contouring for the slimming of the third lower part of the face in 37 patients who had undergone either 1-jaw surgery or 2-jaw surgery. The third lower part of the facial contour was improved in all the patients after at least 3 months follow-up. Mandibular body contouring is a simple method that can be additionally used for the slimming of the third lower part of the face in patients who require orthognathic surgeries. It makes the lower face look more attractive from both the anterior and lateral perspectives.

Lookism is spread largely because many people think beautiful people are treated better and receive more favors. This trend has been influenced by mass media and impacted by commercial marketing strategy. The expectation for the beauty have risen higher than ever. People expect beautiful body and beautiful face which are more difficult to meet the standard of beauty. People desire tall and skinny body. The purpuse of this study was to find out body image from college females in the age which they are very sensitive to appearance. This research focused to find out how they perceived their own body shape and their perception of the most ideal body shape. Measuring tool for the research was 9 pictures of body silhouette from very skinny to very fat. To analyse the respondents' objective body image, Body Mass Index were employed. The result of this research indicated that there were distinct differences between their subjective body images and ideal body images. This result indicated that they were not satisfied with their own body shape and hence they were not confident towards their body images. Even though their objective bodies were normal or under weight, they still felt they were over weight. This meant their body images were misrepresented. They preferred thinner bodies even though their bodies were perfectly normal and healthy. But these misrepresented body images could be unhealthy physically, psychologically, or socially. These results showed that college females were overly obsessive with superficial appearance rather than improving ones capability to be more competitive in the society. From this research, I tried to find out perception of body image and it's distortion which was debated a lot in our society. I also want to provide basic reference material for establishing the body image study.

This study is to understand the image of the Korean beauty and rewards to be gained by trying to be a beautiful person and to study differences according to demographic characteristics. It was studied with the purpose of industrializing beauty image and selling it to foreign countries. The survey questionnaire was distributed to Seoul and Kyeongkido. Respondents totaled 301. Collected data were analyzed with frequency analysis, factor analysis, $X^2$-test, and regression. Results are ; (1) The external image of Korean beauty emphasizes round face, white skin, big eyes, double eyelids, round head shape, early twenties, tall, low body weight, thin waist, long neck, long legs, and thin fingers. (2) The inner image of the Korean beauty emphasizes mature personality, social economic ability, but not housework, and cultural artistic ability. (3) Rewards gained by trying to be a beauty are psychological, actual, and social ones. (4) External face and body image of the beauty are different by demographic characteristics (sex, age, marital status, final education, monthly average income, religion). (5) The inner image of the beauty is different by age, final education, and monthly average income. (6) Rewards gained by trying to be a beauty are different by sex, age, final education, and monthly average income.

We all know how beautiful our wild and it's importance to our living planet Earth. But did you realise the speed at which man himself is damaging it's unique natural habitat. We are well on our way to destroy our forests, plants, wetlands. We are polluting our oceans and seas. This way, we're driving numerous animal species, plant species and many others into extinction. Everyone should be aware of the importance of our natural environment. We live in the period of echocide. Why we need nature to survive and how we can deal with the environmental problems we face. This paper has the purpose to reform city's environment. Because, Metropolis and megalopolis are the principal cause of environmental disruption. To reform the city is needed to consider digital technology in our age. In the face of economic and cultural globalization, many have argued that we live an increasingly placeless world. However, as a growing number of cities participate and compete in key marketplaces of advanced capitalism, the spectacle of the city is more than ever a significant medium of communication in its own right. In doing so, this work is focused specifically on the dimension of city's media environment. To that end, the paper examined U-City and U-Eco city. In this study, we will introduce the study on model of U-Eco City as one way for the eco-freindly future city.

The voided slab have many advantages, light weight, high load-distribution capacity, low cost and beautiful appearance, etc. But they have also many cracks due to difficulties in designs and construction, analysis, shrinkage, installation and rising force of voided tube. This paper presents the retrofit effects with steel plate(SP)/carbon fiber sheet(CFS) of RC voided slab. As a results of this study, it proved that the strip pattern has to be profitable than full-face pattern in performance such as crack, ultimate loads, stiffness. Retrofit length has many influence on retrofit effects, as the length increases, performance and stability of end blocks higher. Also, it proved that the retrofit on full-section has to be profitable than voided-section in performance, and the overlay length of CFS is desirable to extent approximately and welding(V-cut) has to be efficient than anchors in SP connection. But the kinds of end block and anchor has not influence on retrofit effects.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the costume in $\ulcorner$The Goddess Abides$\lrcorner$ of Pearl S. Buck by applying "Dramaturgical Analysis" of Erving Goffman. The frame of analysis is the dramaturgical conception of Goffman that he expressed in $\ulcorner$The Presentation of self in Everyday Life (1959)$\lrcorner$. Among the conception, I analyzed by applying 'performance', 'technique of impression management', 'region and region behavior' which can be used for studying and costume behavior. The following is the summary of my study. First, the performance means the performer's behavior and the procedure of impression management if face to fact interaction, which includes personal front and setting. Setting is mainly a house on the Mt. in Vermont. The time is Winter. The personal front includes appearance and manner. actors and audiences form impression through persional front. And Istudied the performance of the actors (or actress), Edith, Jared, Edmond, Edwin, Amelia, June. As for technique of impression management, I cold observe that a varieth of that were being used, such as the most general one that Edith wants to look beautiful by making god appearance, or she sometimes try not to look beautiful And when Edith meets Jared, sometimes she changed her clothes, but other times she doesn't do that. As for region and region behavior, there appears the distinction of region and a lot of expressions about clothes related to the distinction. I could observe the expressions showing the movement from front to back and from back to front. Especially I could observe the behaviors that can be occured only in back region in everyday life, that is bathing, changing clothes, making up, checking their appearance before the mirror. Like above when I analyzed $\ulcorner$The Goddess Abides$\lrcorner$ of Pearl S. Buck by Goffman's Dramaturgical analysis, I could find out that the theory was very useful to the analysis of the costume behaviors of the characters.

The treatment before growing into disease is the highest level of the spirit of oriental preventive public medicine. Specially the treatmentt is very important in the life style disease of the aged society, and it is closely connected the human body-form diagnosis reflecting the character of individual physiology and pathology. The human body-form diagnosis explain systematically the color of face, the form and movement of the body, the smell and the taste, the mentality, many or few of $Yin{\cdot}Yang$, the state of pulse, the Meridian, the state of pathology and the direction of the treatment, and therefore the human body-form diagnostis method has also the practical ity on classifying the type. As the spirit of oriental preventive public medicine is based on the Meridian control method and food cooking control method, it has an important effect on the general management of the disease, the making on the beautiful face and the healthy body, the prolongation of life, the management of the individual-ordered health.

This study, using the free language association method, examined the characteristics of emotional words of respondents who were exposed to facial photos of women in 60s, and favorableness and favorable styles of them. To analyze mood characteristics on the faces, they were divided into positive mood words and negative mood words. Following previous researches, they were divided into introversion, extraversion, and ambiversion. It was found that the proportion of positive emotional words respondents used was 37%, and that of negative ones was 63%, demonstrating that respondents are more likely than not to get the negative impressions from the faces of their contemporaries. The characteristics of the words consists of 38% introversion, 47% extraversion, and 14% ambiversion. And, respondents used the words like 'beautiful' and 'good-looking' to the stimuli to which they felt favorable, and 'ill-tempered' and 'stubborn' to the stimuli to which they felt unfavorable. Third, the most favorable style to both male and female respondents in 60s were sentimental and good-mannered. They generally favor women who are soft and caring, and dislike talkative, snobbish, and thick make-up women. The analysis results in this paper may help image making and personal relations. Further study needs to expand the survey area to ensure more significant influence on the social life and interpersonal relationship of senior citizens.

Make-up is the act of protecting the body and face, or a beautifully decorating by covering the shortcomings. In this paper, classification and type of makeup was newly organized to suit the present day. And the meaning of the new make-up were evaluated. Makeup helps protect skin from external changes. It gives the beauty function to hide defects of the skin and make it beautiful. Thus, it allows to have a social life actively and aggressively given the confidence to look.
