  • In this study the case of ground improvement by CGS as injection method were analyzed in order to find out effect of behavior of sandy soil and the application of this method as ground improvement. The study were analyzed N value after CGS work of sandy soil by many sites test. Considering that increase of N value, CGS can be considered as an effective method to increase the bear capacity as well as constrain the settlement of soft ground From the results of this study, N value after CGS work of sandy soil were closed to N value of ground and relative density(Dr), improvement ratio(As) of grouting and the study will be done continuously for finding out relation of them

  • It is well known that chromospheric features are fine structured, short lived, and dynamic. Spectrograph-based observation have obvious advantage of getting physical properties of solar chromosphere than filter-based one. We developed and installed Fast Imaging Solar Spectrograph (FISS) attached on New Solar Telescope in Big Bear Solar Observatory. FISS have capabilities to take data with high time, spatial and spectral resolution at two wavelengths(Ha $6563{\AA}$ and CaII $8542{\AA}$) simultaneously. After FISS installation, we observed various chromospheric features : active regions, quiet regions, filaments/prominences and so on. As one of chromospheric studies, we analyzed solar prominences and got physical parameters by using simple radiative transfer modeling. The ranges of temperature and non-thermal velocities are found to be 7500-13000K and 5-11km/s, respectively.

  • We were preferred bovine cortical bone to the others in xenobonegrafts for human and small animals, because those were not limited to supply and have sufficient size for bone transplantation. The strength (ST) and stiffness (SF) of cortical bone in bone grafts were very important. The strength and stiffness of cortical bone were much difference according to position of long bone in bovine limbs because which were biomechanical different to bear body weight. Therefore, we determinated by three bending point test methods the strength and stiffness of cortical bone which were collected in diaphysis of humerus, radius, femur and tibia of bovine. In the results, the strengths and stiffness among these were highest in radius by ST: 253.84$\pm$40.80 MPa, SF: 7.89$\pm$1.91 Gpa and lowest in humerus by ST: 185.69$\pm$28.54 MPa, SF: 6.21$\pm$1.22 Gpa.

  • Cultural assets of the country's history and cherish the living conditions of the people, conscious and cohesive crystals, and the pride of the hearts of the people as a haven. In the country worth preserving national treasure, bomulgeup, local cultural heritage as a major cultural property protection are. Cultural properties, etc. Most are wooden, is vulnerable to fire, and, moreover battling to far away from the city and due to the geographical conditions are very challenging aspects. The national cultural assets, such as the many temples, vows to fire one if the loss of a centuries-old cultural property is a big loss of national posterity to great shame is not. Still cultural assets and a large number of visitors have flocked temples. All of us to keep the look and feel of the cultural assets pleasure to conserve cultural assets preserved to ensure that fire prevention is always unmistakably bear in mind that sees.

  • The existing inventory managements bear a relation to forecasting or assumptions. So these methods become more complicated and more expensive systems as time goes. This paper developed a practical inventory system which is called DCC(demand control chart). DCC does not 'forecast' but 'control' the trend of demand without assumptions. According to the trend of sales, DCC adjusts an order quantity considering the capacity of shelf in a store. Specially, DCC is a useful method under FRID system. Besides, this paper introduces EPFR(Every Period Full Replenishment) policy for reducing stocks.

  • In most products liability cases, the only or principal defendant is the manufacturer that designed, manufactured, and marketed the product which injured the plaintiff. In this regards, most national laws and international convention stipulates the definition of the producer. But there is no rule about the definition of the producer in China. Yet parties in the product distribution chain other than ordinary manufacturers, notably retail seller, often profit from moving products from factories to consumers and so may bear some responsibility when product hazards injure consumers. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the definition of the "producer", "seller" who is responsible for products liability claims in China. This paper will contributes to help the Korean exporters, manufacturers to build up the proper countermeasures regarding products liability in China.

  • This paper introduces an enhanced condition monitoring and diagnosis system recently developed for rotating machinery. In the system, the data aquisition/monitoring signal processing, machine condition classifier, case-based reasoning and demonstration modules are effectively integrated with user-friendliness so that machine operators can easily monitor and diagnose the status of rotating machinery in operation. Some of the new features include the directional spectrum, case-based reasoning and neural network techniques. And the demonstrator modules for fault diagnosis of a Bear driving system and for basic understanding of the rotor dynamics are provided to help the potential users better understand the system.

  • The synthetic methodologies for the preparation of C-nucleosides are divided into four categories, and each category is discussed in details. The chemical rections which lead to other C-nucleosides from preformed the natural product pseudouridine are described first, followed by synthesis of C-nucleosides by condensation of pre-formed heterocyclic base with sugar, and by construction of heterocyclic base from a carbohydrate intermediate that bear functional carbon fragment at the anomeric position. Finally, methods of total synthesis of C-nucleosides from carbohydrate and achiral starting materials are presented.

  • For efficient interaction between humans and robots, robots should be able to understand the meaning and intention of human behaviors as well as recognize them. This paper proposes an interactive human intention reading method in which a robot develops its own knowledge about the human intention for an object. A robot needs to understand different human behavior structures for different objects. To this end, this paper proposes a hierarchical behavior knowledge network that consists of behavior nodes and directional edges between them. In addition, a human intention reading algorithm that incorporates reinforcement learning is proposed to interactively learn the hierarchical behavior knowledge networks based on context information and human feedback through human behaviors. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through play-based experiments between a human and a virtual teddy bear robot with two virtual objects. Experiments with multiple participants are also conducted.

  • The purpose of reasearch is to study the teenagers' attitude of supporting their to predict the changed pattern and the possible evolution of family relationship, provide schools and the society with meaningful information for education policy and to propose an appropriate life style for the eldery parents. As an investigative method, questionaies were used to 600 people including students in schools located in Suwon, Kyongki-Do. All the data were processed with the Satistical Analysis System (SAS). The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. Teenagers' living with their grandparents said that get much help from their grandparents 2. The teenagers' consciousness of supporting their parents when they grow old varied according to sex : i.e. male students said that children should bear the cost of supporting their old parents. 3. The more educated, the more accepting of their future life in the homes for the aged. 4. A low level of expectations for children's support in that many parents believed that the responsibility for support lies in the parents themselves.
