This study presents test results of a residential window system air-conditioner using R22 and two potential alternative refrigerants, R407C and R410B. A series of performance tests was performed for the basic and liquid-suction heat exchange cycle in a psychrometric calorimeter test facility. For R407C, the same rotary compressor was used as in the R22 system. However, compressor for the R410B system was modified to provide the similar cooling capacity. The evaporator circuit was changed to get a counter-cross flow heat exchanger to take advantage of zeotropic mixture's temperature glide, and liquid-line suction-line heat exchange cycle was also considered to improve the performance of the system. Test results were compared to those for the basic R22 system.

Purpose: The study was done to identify variations in Nurses' CPR knowledge, attitude and performance before and after BLS Education. Method: This study was designed to evaluate the differences in Nurses' CPR knowledge, attitude and performance. For the study we selected 167 nurses working in Daegu K University hospital. The study group was given a test before (pre test) and after (post test) BLS education. The BLS education was given by two BLS instructors certified by the American Heart Association, using a DVD and manikin. Result: The results showed a statistically significant difference the nurse's knowledge, belief, emotion and performance but there was no significant difference in their behavior after BLS education. CPR knowledge and performance was higher among emergency room nurses compared to surgical ward nurses. Conclusion: CPR education has shown to have a positive effect on nurses' attitudes towards CPR. It also improved their related knowledge and performance. Therefore, cardiopulmonary education should be given continuously, and different steps of CPR education programs need to be developed in order to fill the knowledge deficiency gap.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is a technical study to understand the relationship between the recognition and performance of core basic nursing skills of nursing college students who are ahead of clinical practice, and satisfaction with their major. Method: The subjects were 208 second-year students enrolled in the four-year nursing department located in J City and C City. General characteristics, characteristics of clinical practice, and recognition of the importance of core basic nursing skills, performance, and satisfaction with majors were investigated. Descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, multiple regression analysis and IPA are performed for data analysis Results: The results are follows. The results are follows. First, the performance was lower than that of the core basic nursing skills (p<.001). As a result of comparing the importance recognition and performance of the core basic nursing items, the importance recognition was significantly compared to the performance level in all 20 items. It showed high results. Second, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation (r=.40, p<.01) with major satisfaction in core basic nursing performance. Conclusion: These results highlight the need to develop education. It is necessary to establish a learning strategy through various learning guidance methods and self-directed learning that can improve the performance of items with low performance, although recognized as important through the Core Basic Nursing IPA for nursing students who are about to practice clinical practice. It is suggested to do repeated research applied.

We have tested the performance of the Proto-model of Space Infrared Cryogenic System (PSICS), which is a small infrared camera, developed by Korea Astronomy and Space science Institute (KASI), Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI), Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials (KIMM), and i3system co., as a cooperation project. The purpose of PSICS is to ensure a technology of small infrared cryogenic system for future development of space infrared (IR) cameras. PSICS consists of cryogenic part, IR sensor and electronics part, and optical part. The performance test of each part and the integrated system has been completed successfully. PSICS will be used as a guiding camera for ground-based IR telescopes and a test system for developing a space-borne instrument.

The primary purpose of this study was to investigate how number sense performance of sixth graders was and what every character of five components of number sense possessed by sixth graders was. For the this purpose, Two kinds of studies were conducted : a descriptive study by pencil-and-paper tests(Basic Test, Number Sense Test) and a clinical study by interviews. The conclusions drawn from the results obtained in the this study were as follows : First, students were highly scored in Basic Test but not highly scored equally in Number Sense Test. Second, students hardly used the benchmarks and lacked consideration of the reasonableness about computation results. Interview results were that students' notion about the meaning, and the greater - than and less - than relations for fractions was weak and students tended to not use number sense but apply standard algorithm and compute numbers in the question without thinking.

본 연구의 목적은 기본심폐소생술 교육프로그램이 중학생의 심폐소생술 관련 지식, 태도 및 수행능력에 미치는 효과와 그 지속성을 확인하는 것이다. 연구대상자는 D시에 소재하는 2학년 2개 학교를 대상으로 실험군과 대조군 각각 35명, 총 70명으로, 자료수집기간은 2012년 7월부터 2011년 11월까지였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS WIN 21.0을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율, $x^2$-test, t-test, repeated measures ANOVA로 분석하였다. 기본심폐소생술 교육프로그램을 이용한 실험군은 지식, 태도, 수행능력이 교육 전보다 교육 후 대조군보다 유의하게 증가하였으며, 기본심폐소생술에 대한 태도와 지식은 교육 후 2개월까지 지속되었고, 기본심폐소생술에 대한 수행능력은 교육 직후 유의한 수준으로 감소하였다. 따라서 기본심폐소생술에 대한 지식, 태도, 수행능력을 유지하기 위해 학교 기본교육과정 속에서 기본 심폐소생술 교육은 물론 일정기간을 둔 재교육이 실시되어야 한다.

This study is to examine the validity of assessing basic-level proficiency in physics among incoming engineering freshmen through item analysis and standard setting. For empirical analysis, we examined the physics subject taken by the freshman class of 2021 at K University, considering its significance for engineering students. In this study, we initially performed item analysis utilizing both classical test theory and item response theory. Subsequently, leveraging the item and test information, we employed a modified Angoff method and the Bookmark method for standard setting. Consequently, the difficulty level initially set during item development was found to be higher than the actual performance level exhibited by the students. This study highlights a discernible disparity between the expected university standard and the real proficiency level of incoming freshmen in terms of basic academic ability in physics. Based on these research findings, a comprehensive discussion on the fundamental academic competence of engineering students was conducted, underscoring the necessity for formulating a tailored learning approach leveraging the outcomes from the basic ability test.

금질 기법을 이용한 테스트 데이터 자동 생성 기법은 오랫동안 연구되어 왔으며, 효율적인 테스트 데이터 생성 방법 중 하나이다. 그러나 인풋 도메인이 넓을 경우, 기존의 담금질 기법은 이웃 선택 기법의 한계 때문에 나쁜 성능을 보였다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해, 우리는 새로운 이웃 선택 기법인 분기 거리 이웃 선택 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법의 성능을 검증하기 위해서 우리는 분기 거리 이웃 선택 기법, 기존의 이웃 선택 기법 그리고 랜덤 테스트 데이터 생성 기법을 비교하는 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 제안된 기법이 2가지 기법에 비해 우수한 성능을 보임을 알 수 있었다.

The high precision spindle is essential fer mass and low cost production of aspherical glass lens. Especially, in the grinding process of micro glass lens the performance of the spindle determine the machined surface quality. For the aspheric micro glass lens grinding, we design and make a high precision spindle. We use air bearings for high speed and low motion errors of the spindle. And the driving mechanism is an air turbine to remove heat generation. In this study, we make basic performance requirements of the spindle through benchmarking. And we confirm the requirements by basic machining test. We test air consumption, static stiffness, run-out and vibration of the spindle.

In this study reviewed the validity of the estimated optimum trim by the numerical analysis. For this purpose, the numerical analysis of the trim optimization for 6500TEU container carrier and capesize bulk carrier were carried out using Star-CCM+, which results were compared with the results of model tests. The reliability of results of the numerical analysis was confirmed via comparing the resistance determined by the numerical analysis and model test. The performance of self-propulsion at each trim conditions were estimated using the calculated resistance by numerical analysis. The BHP at each trim condition were calculated by estimated performance of self-propulsion, which trend of results were confirmed similar trend of result of model test.
