기초분리방법을 이용한 교량 내진 설계 (Seismic Design of Bridges Using Base Isolation)

  • Base isolation is the alternative tool to protect structures against the earthquake. Basic ideas are the flexibflity to reduce the response of the structure, energy dissipation to reduce the excessive deflection by flexibility, and the rigidity under the service load. Base isolation is specially good for bridges because it can be installed easily and be used for both new construction and rehabilitation. This paper describes the basic ideas of base isolation, various base isolation devices and design guidelines by AASHTO. It also introduces the applications in United States and New Zealand.

Thermomechanical interactions in a transversely isotropic magneto thermoelastic solids with two temperatures and rotation due to time harmonic sources

  • The present research deals in two dimensional (2D) transversely isotropic magneto generalized thermoelastic solid without energy dissipation and with two temperatures due to time harmonic sources in Lord-Shulman (LS) theory of thermoelasticity. The Fourier transform has been used to find the solution of the problem. The displacement components, stress components and conductive temperature distribution with the horizontal distance are calculated in transformed domain and further calculated in the physical domain numerically. The effect of two temperature are depicted graphically on the resulting quantities.

수질오염총량관리계획 수립을 위한 유달부하량 추정방법 연구 (A Study on Estimated Pollutant Delivery Load for the Basic Plan of TPLC)

  • Total Pollution Load Control (TPLC) calculates and manages the allowable pollutant load that is discharged from the watershed, which can meet the water quality target. Delivery Ratio (DR) is generally used for predicting the variation of pollutant mass balance between the pollutants discharged from the watershed and a certain point in the stream, and it is very important for estimation of accurate allowable pollutant load. The concept of DR in TPLC is different from prevalent DR, because DR in TPLC includes both the discharge of pollutants from the watershed and the delivery mechanism. Therefore, DR in TPLC should be estimated by using a proper and unified methodology. The appropriate method and equation for estimation of DR in TPLC was developed through the review of various methodologies, and the applicability of the equation was evaluated in a study area (Geumho A). Determination coefficients (R2) of regression were shown to be relatively high (BOD 0.71~0.87, T-N 0.86~0.90, T-P 0.62~0.69). Applicability of the developed methodology and equations was evaluated as appropriate for TPLC, and it is suggested.

수질오염총량관리 단위유역내 토양 양분 및 수질오염 부하량 상관관계 비교 (Correlation between Soil Nutrient Contents and Water Pollutant Loads in Hydrologic Unit Watersheds: Implication on the Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs))

  • For this study the 4 sub-watersheds Okdong A, Hankang B, Jecheon A and Hankang C which are the main streams of the Han River within the mid-level region of Chungju Dam are selected and the analysis of soils has been carried out through the soil basic survey. When it comes to the soil erosion amount the soil nutrient load has been calculated by utilizing the RUSLE erosion equation. In case of the data related to the measurement of water flow and quality the information available from the "Water Information System" one of the websites run by the Ministry of Environment has been used to calculate the water pollution load. The correlation between the soil nutrient load and the water pollutant load has been analyzed through making comparison. According to the results related to the soil nutrient load of each sub-watershed the Hankang C shows the highest values TOC 29,986.92 ton/yr, TN 3,860.33 ton/yr and TP 973.97 ton/yr respectively. Even when it comes to the loads related to water quality the Hankang C shows also comparatively high values TOC 6,625.64 ton/yr, TN 7,335.01 ton/yrand TP 145.49 ton/yr respectively. The soil nutrient loads of the sub-watersheds are shown to increase towards the lower stream meaning the load increases in the order of Hankang CHankang B and Okdong A. When it comes to the water pollutant load the value goes up along down the water system meaning the load gets higher in the order of Hankang C, Hankang B and Okdong A while utilizing the mainstream within the mid-level region of Chungju Dam as the basis. The correlation study showed that the nutrient content of soil is proportional to the pollutant load in water with the strongest positive correlation with TOC.

  • In this paper, we present basic modeling of Juju power system using PSCAD/EMTDC. In detail, models of bipolar HVDC system, power transmission line, basic thermal power plant, load, and wind farm have been developed for Jeju power system. For evaluating basic dynamic behavior, we tested the system with a simple scenario and the test result showed acceptable response.

단결정 실리콘 TFT Cell의 적용에 따른 SRAM 셀의 전기적 특성 (The Electrical Characteristics of SRAM Cell with Stacked Single Crystal Silicon TFT Cell)

  • There have been great demands for higher density SRAM in all area of SRAM applications, such as mobile, network, cache, and embedded applications. Therefore, aggressive shrinkage of 6T Full CMOS SRAM had been continued as the technology advances, However, conventional 6T Full CMOS SRAM has a basic limitation in the cell size because it needs 6 transistors on a silicon substrate compared to 1 transistor in a DRAM cell. The typical cell area of 6T Full CMOS SRAM is $70{\sim}90F^{2}$, which is too large compared to $8{\sim}9F^{2}$ of DRAM cell. With 80nm design rule using 193nm ArF lithography, the maximum density is 72M bits at the most. Therefore, pseudo SRAM or 1T SRAM, whose memory cell is the same as DRAM cell, is being adopted for the solution of the high density SRAM applications more than 64M bits. However, the refresh time limits not only the maximum operation temperature but also nearly all critical electrical characteristics of the products such as stand_by current and random access time. In order to overcome both the size penalty of the conventional 6T Full CMOS SRAM cell and the poor characteristics of the TFT load cell, we have developed $S^{3}$ cell. The Load pMOS and the Pass nMOS on ILD have nearly single crystal silicon channel according to the TEM and electron diffraction pattern analysis. In this study, we present $S^{3}$ SRAM cell technology with 100nm design rule in further detail, including the process integration and the basic characteristics of stacked single crystal silicon TFT.

슬로싱 하중을 받는 한국형 LNG선 화물창(KC-1)의 보냉 판넬에 대한 구조 안전성 평가 (An Assessment of Structure Safety for Basic Insulation Panel of KC-1 LNG Cargo Containment system under Sloshing Load)

  • 한국형 LNG선 화물창(KC-1)의 개발은 LNG선의 핵심기술인 화물창시스템의 원천기술을 확보하여 외화절감 및 조선 산업의 경쟁력을 높이는데 그 목적이 있다. 화물창 내부의 액체가 선박의 모션에 의해 생기는 슬로싱 충격 하중에 대한 LNG선의 화물창의 구조 안전성 평가는 중요한 설계 요소가 되었다. 슬로싱 현상에 의한 구조 안전성을 평가하는 가장 이상적인 방법은 유체 영역과 화물창 구조의 상호 작용을 완벽하게 구현하는 것이다. 그러나 유체-구조 연성해석은 방대한 계산 시간과 결과의 정확성을 보장하기 어렵기 때문에 불규칙적인 슬로싱 압력을 삼각파의 형태로 이상화하여 구조 안전성을 평가하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 슬로싱 압력은 15/1000초 동안에 최대 10bar의 압력으로 가정한 삼각파로 고려하였고, 해석 결과 한국형 LNG선 화물창(KC-1)의 보냉 판넬은 슬로싱 하중에 대해 구조적으로 건전한 것으로 평가되었다.

도로교설계기준(한계상태설계법)의 콘크리트부재 설계를 위한 재료계수 결정법 및 신뢰도 분석 (New Approaches for Calibrating Material Factors of Reinforced Concrete Members in Korean Highway Bridge Design Code (Limit State Design) and Reliability Analysis)

  • 이 연구에서는 국내 도로교 한계상태설계법에서 콘크리트부재의 설계를 위하여 적용하고 있는 재료계수의 문제점을 제기하고, 잘 정립된 최적화 과정에 의한 재료계수를 제안하였다. 신뢰도분석을 통하여 현 설계기준의 하중계수와 제안 재료계수가 목표신뢰도지수 보다 높은 신뢰도수준을 확보하고 있음을 보이고, 역신뢰도해석을 통하여 목표신뢰도지수를 잘 근사할 수 있는 하중계수를 제시하였다. 유로코드에서 제시하고 있는 기본 개념에 근거하여 신뢰도기반 하중-재료계수 결정법을 정식화하였다. 제안된 접근법이 신뢰도개념에 의하여 유도되었지만, 이 접근법에 의하여 계산된 하중-재료 계수가 목표신뢰도지수를 정확히 만족시키지 못하는 요인으로서 재료와 부재간에 존재하는 불확실성의 차이를 지적하고, 이러한 차이를 고려하지 않는 유로코드의 개념적 문제점을 제기하였다.

eVTOL 항공기 블레이드 피치 제어용 선형 구동기 기본설계 모델의 구조 안전성 평가 (Structural Safety Evaluation of Basic Design Model of Linear Actuator for Blade Pitch Control of eVTOL Aircraft)

  • 본 연구에서는 eVTOL 개인항공기의 개별 블레이드 피치 제어용 선형 구동기 기본설계 모델에 대한 구조 안전성을 검토하였다. Stall 하중에 대한 정적 구조 안전성을 검토하기 위해 유한요소법을 이용한 응력해석을 수행하여 안전여유율을 계산하였다. 또한 선형 구동기의 운용조건에 대한 피로수명을 평가하기 위해 피로 해석을 수행하였다. 다물체 동역학 분석을 통해 블레이드 피치각에 따른 하중이력을 산출하였다. 또한 정하중 해석에 정격하중을 적용하여 응력 분포를 산출하고 피로 해석에 활용하였다. 해석 결과, 선형 구동기의 모든 부품은 0 이상의 안전여유율이 계산되었고, 107 cycles 이상의 피로수명이 산출되어 구조적으로 안전함이 확인되었다.
