This study aims to suggest implications on develop and operate NCS curriculum by analyzing of differences in perception and educational needs of university students, graduates, human resource managers(HR managers) on NCS basic job skill. The respondents of survey are composed of 533 university students in K university, 730 graduates and 106 HR managers. The major findings are as follows: first, the results showed that the importances of all competencies recognized by HR managers was higher than those of university students and graduates. And graduates perceived their level of competencies as higher than those of university students. Second, the needs for self-development skill, technical skill, and problem-solving skill was the highest within the students and graduates, meanwhile, the needs for the mathematical skill, resource management skill, and the organization understanding skill were low. In contrast, the results of this study showed that the HR managers has the high needs for self-development skill, communication skill and problem-solving skill. Also, HR managers has the low needs for mathematical skill, resource management skill, information skill, technical skill, organizational understanding skill, and job ethics. Based on the above results, we proposed the necessity to develop and apply the NCS curriculum considering the education needs recognized by current students, graduates, and HR managers.

This Study carried out for the purpose of basic data collection school teachers in Korea during September 2000 at Seoul, Kangwon province and JeonRaBuk province. 534 teachers among 600 school health teachers was analyzed by SPSS program. The major findings is as follows; 1. Mean score of Job-satisfaction is $25.52{\pm}4.46$ as 50 total point. Staff cooperation $2.96{\pm}.93$ is the highest score and promotion system $2.02{\pm}1.06$ is the lowest score as 5 total point by Job-satisfaction factor 2. Age-specific mean scores are $20.63{\pm}4.44$ at age of $20{\sim}29$, $25.77{\pm}4.15$ at age of $30{\sim}39$, $27.69{\pm}4.63$ at age of $40{\sim}49$ and $27.11{\pm}5.26$ at age of more than 50. 'Promotion', 'Health education', 'Cooperation of school physician', 'Allocation of professional' and 'Professional skill' are significantly different by age group. 3. Job-satisfaction of long period working teachers is higher than that of short workers, 'Salary system' and 'Professional skill' by factor are significantly different. 4. Job satisfaction by area is not significantly different, and 'Professional skill' as a factor of urban is higher than rural area. 5. Job-satisfaction by school level is not significantly different, and 'Health budget', 'Cooperation of school physician', 'Allocation of professional' and 'Professional skill' are significantly different by level of school. 6. Job-satisfaction of big size school is higher than that of small school and 'Health education' of big size school is high. 7. Job-satisfaction of low education is low score and 'Salary', 'Textbook for health education', 'Health facility' and 'Professional skill' are differnt. 8. 'Educational background', 'Size of school' and 'Level of school' are significantly affected to 'Salary system', this three varialbles explained 13.8% of the total. We can express job -satisfaction of 'Salary system' ; y=2.677-$.182X_6$(Education)+$.120X_5$(Size of school)+$.019X_4$(Level of school) 9. 'Age group', 'Working period' and 'Size of school' are affected to 'Cooperation of school physician', and three variables explain 13.2% of total. 'Working period', 'Education of teacher', and 'Working area' are affected professional skill, this three variables explain 13.5% of job-satisfaction of professional skill. We can express 'Professional skill' ; y=3.076+$.11X_2$(Working period)-$1.06X_6$(Education)-$.126X_3$(Working area). 11. 'Education', 'Age', 'Size of school' and 'Working period' are affected to total job-satisfaction, this four variables explain 14.2% of total satisfaction. Recruiting and maintaining capable physical therapists in hospitals is crucial to provide patients with better quality's physical therapy and to achieve hospital business objectives. This study is to provide basic data for effective personnel management of physical therapists in the hospital. For this, this study was conducted to confirm the relationship between turnover intention and job characteristics(task importance, job autonomy, job feedback, task identity, skill diversity), and to find out factors affecting the turnover intention of hospital physical therapists in Korea. The sample used in this study consisted of 173 physical therapists who were working in hospitals located in Seoul from June 18 to 29. The data for analysis were collected by questionnaire survey. The dependent variable of this study was turnover intention and the independent variables were job characteristics(task importance, job autonomy, job feedback, task identity, skill diversity), demographic characteristics of respondents(sex, age, education level, marital status, working hospital, working career). The major statistical methods used for the analysis were factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Turnover intention according to demographic characteristics of respondents was significantly high in the graduate school above group. As the result of hierarchical multiple regression analysis of turnover intention, R2 of job characteristics was much more powerful than demographic characteristics. The factors had significant negative effect on turnover intention were job autonomy, task identity, and skill diversity. And in demographic characteristics factors, there were not significant factors on turnover intention. In considering above findings, for decreasing turnover intention of physical therapists, hospitals need to develop strategies for enhancing job satisfaction by improving job autonomy, task identity, and skill diversity from the adequate job environment.
This study is aimed to analyze the cognitive level of basic job skill for students, graduates, and teachers in a specialized high school, as well as for workers in a company, and to suggest an optimal educational curriculum by deciding the priority of the basic job skill in education in the field of mechanic, electric electronic semiconductor, and architecture civil engineering construction. This research was undertaken with the use of various statistic skills, the Borich method, and the locus for focus model. Also, this research shall be valued in synthetic understandings for curriculum revising. The educational priority which shall be applied to the mechanic, electric electronic semiconductor, and architecture civil engineering construction at specialized high school was analyzed, and according to this, a new curriculum was suggested. For mechanic, it put its educational priority on Expressing oneself, Problem solving, Self-development, Career development, Managing time, Negotiation, and Understanding technology. For electric electronic semiconductor, its focus was on Managing time, and for architecture civil engineering construction, they emphasized Problem solving, Self-development, Career development, Managing time, and Conflict management.

Effectiveness of the video-record learning method in teaching bowel elimination nursing skill was investigated using an experimental research methodology. Data was collected from 63 female students attending Fundamental Nursing class from a nursing college in Seoul. The subjects were randomly assigned to two groups, one is the experimental group of 29 and the other the control group of 34. The independent variable was video-record learning method and the dependent variable were the degree of knowledge achivement, nursing skill achivement, competence on practicing elimination skill, and satisfaction about the learning method. The hypotheses of the study were as following. 1) There will be significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in dependent variables. 2) There will be significant positive correlations between nursing skill achievement and other three dependent variables-interest in nursing, adaptation in nursing, and preference of nursing job. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient with SPSS $PC^+$ program. Findings of the study are : 1) There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in knowledge achievement using P<.05. 2) There was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in nursing skill achievement using P<.05. 3) There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in competence on practicing elimination skill using P<.05. 4) There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in satisfaction about learning method using P<.05. 5) There was positive correlation between nursing skill achievement and the other variables but no significant difference was shown. 6) This study suggests that video-record learning method is an effective learning method for achiving basic nursing skills but is not effective in other areas such as knowledge achivement, competence in performing nursing practice, and satis-faction about the learning method. Further study with more developed research design and statistical analysis should be done to investigate the effectivenes of video-record learning method in learning basic nursing skill more accurately.
This study was to develop improving vocational basic skill program and content which are basic of instruction-learning ability for the vocational education substantiality. To pursue this goal, 'interpersonal relation capability' among vocational basic skills was developed through the research methodology and procedure. The interpersonal relation capability was selected as one of vocational basic skill areas when it was more effective by e-learning contents through literature review, expert conference etc. The interpersonal relation capability can be harmony with persons under performing business tasks. In this study, interpersonal relation capability was programmed a interpersonal scheme, a cooperative capability, a leadership capability, a conflict management, negotiation capability, a customer service capability. Especially this program was developed as a form of e-Learning contents focusing on improving problem solving under real case using multimedia strategies such as movies, simulation, game.

The aims of this study were to analyze the coastal Fisherman's awareness for the Fisheries and Maritime Job Skills. Fisheries & Maritime key competencies were defined as the abilities that include the essential knowledge, skills, attitude, and experiences required for the workforce on the fisheries and maritime job condition. This research collected preliminary data from 65 coastal fishermen. Data were analyzed to obtain content validity analysis. The results of the study were as follows; First, Fisheries & Maritime key competencies were divided into 6 elements in coastal fisheries. Second, Fisheries & Maritime key competencies were consisted of basic skills, marine vocational ethics, marine information capacity, marine elementary knowledge, marine safety management skill and marine consciousness. Third, CVR proves that the value analyzed in the study was validation. In consequence, the study suggested that Fisheries & Maritime key competencies were different in accordance with work environment.
Objectives : This study is aimed to help the dental hygiene department students to improve their adaptive ability to the field work by letting them know the performing levels required of the job world, by renovating the knowledge-centered curriculum, and by finding out the core competencies needed for successfully performing their duties and tasks in the work field. Methods : The survey tool was recomposed through the examination of the preceeding studies on basic vocational competencies and skills, and the survey has been done to 200 dentists in Seoul and Gyunggi provice. Results : 1. As for the job-getting routs, 35.1% of them finds their jobs through the job portal sites, and 21.3% through the recommendation by professors. So we can see the meaningful difference in the employment ways. 2. Dental hygiene clinics think that the purpose of their cooperation with the colleges is mainly to secure human resources by requiring the colleges to give field-centered education the colleges through. 3. The clinics for dental hygienic students' field learning have a great power for hiring the students. So it is necessary to set up a good management system of the clinics for dental hygienic students' field learning in order to reinforce the students' competitive power in getting jobs. 4. The priorities in basic working abilities needed for the task performance are in the order of vocational responsibility, self-managing & developing ability, interpersonal skill, and problem solving ability. 5. The core competencies required of those who graduate from dental hygiene school show the following scores by Likert measurement; good personality and vocational consciousness 2.16(${\pm}.677$), understanding power of major-related knowledge 2.19(${\pm}.723$), field adapting ability 2.31(${\pm}.748$), get-along-with ability 2.32(${\pm}.799$), interpersonal skill 2.42(${\pm}.768$), and self-development ability such as getting certificates 2.43(${\pm}.729$). Among the core competencies, the only meaningful factor which influences on their satisfaction measurement has been identified as the professional ability related to the major. Conclusions : The results suggest that the knowledge and skill related to the major are core competencies of able human resources and closely related with the professionality of the job, and so they are very important. However, job basic abilities are also proved to be important, which reinforce the students' activeness, self-regulation, and creativeness, and help them to pursue their lasting growth in their abilities.

Fisheries and shipping industry as national basic industry need continuous growth and basic human resource development for international competition. This study was carried out through investigating of the related literature and reports. The purpose of study for developing direction and subject matter of curriculum in the fisheries marine science high school was as follows. Recently, reforms of vocational high school will expand professionalization and specialization. Therefore systematic curriculum of basic knowledge, basic skill and technical is required more and more in field work of fishery and merchant marine. The other important factors of curriculum improvement were cooperative role between school and local industry, adaptation of basic ability, job analysis, various curriculum opening. Above all, teachers of fisheries and merchant marine high school require advanced consciousness and must participate in revising curriculum. And the textbook of fisheries and merchant marine high school is useful to improve the level of learning ability degree and must be written by the related teacher, and the textbook contents must be studied by the expert group under professors leading to advanced discipline and skill of field work.
This study aims to survey the perceptions held by students and field workers regarding the clothing-related qualification certificates, which can serve as the base for becoming clothing professionals, to compare and analyze the actual state of qualification certificates on the basic research level, and thus to search for the directions suitable for the clothing-related qualification certificates. The questionnaire method was selected for the study. The responses of 406 copies from students and 81 copies from field workers were used, and frequency analysis and t-test were done with the assistance of spss 10.0 statistics program, The findings are as follows. First, as to the qualification certificates perceived by the students, the certificates of colorist engineer and colorist industrial engineer were known most. 237 students, or 58.4% of the student respondents, had obtained the information about the qualification certificates mainly through the internet and mass media, and 77.3% of the students had a plan to get the qualification certificates. Second, as to the qualification certificates perceived by the field workers, the respondents indicated that school grades(43.2%) would be given the highest additional points at the time of employment, while the clothing-related qualification certificates gathered low responses of 11.1%. The field workers perceived that the qualification certificate of Western suit engineer(pattern) was needed for the job, while 45.4% of them perceived that no qualification certificate was required for the job. Third, both the students and the field workers showed low acquisition levels of the qualification certificates, and in view of their perceptions that the qualification certificates of languages or computer skills were more useful, the improvement is needed in order for the national certificates for the clothing-related skill qualification to develop in the more job-related directions.
