  • Both $Al_2O_3$ and $SiO_2$ nanopowders were ball-milled to break large agglomerates$(500nm\sim10{\mu}m$). To improve the dispersion of ball-milled nanoparticles in transformer oil, surface modification was performed with oleic acid(OA). The modified nanoparticles were examined by the particle size analyzer, electron microscope, Infrared spectroscopy and stability analyser. Particle Size distributions were measured for ball-milled particles, and the results were compared with the size distribution of primary particles. FTIR results indicated that hydrophobicity of modified nanoparticles was due to the chemical reaction between hydroxyl groups of particle surface and oleic acid. The dispersion stability of surface-modified nanoparticles was quite good in transformer oil.

  • Influence of $La_2O_3$ addition to $CaO-B_2O_3$-based glass on the water leaching resistance of the glass was first investigated. The optimized $La_2O_3-CaO-B_2O_3$(LCB) glass was ball milled for varying time, followed by mixing with $Al_2O_3$ crystalline phase to form $Al_2O_3$-LCB glass composites at $875^{\circ}C$ for 1h. Microwave dielectric properties of the composites were investigated as a function of the ball milling time of the LCB glass. Dielectric constant and quality factor of the composites were 6.31 and 13856 GHz, respectively, when the LCB glass was ball milled for 2h prior to mixing with $Al_2O_3$.

  • The aims of this study were to Investigate the floor impact noise isolation performance of floating floor with isolation materials and propose the improvement direction of floor impact noise measurement method and evaluation classes using impact ball. Reduction of light-weight impact sound pressure level can be achieved by the finishing materials, such as vinyl finishing material and wooden flooring with isolation materials. Floor impact noise Isolation material which satisfy the properties of the floor impact noise isolation materials cause resonance in the low frequency band and worsen heavy-weight impact sound pressure level. Heavy-weight impact sound level can be reduced by using noise reduction flooring, ceiling and increase of slab thickness. Strong impact force in low frequency bang below 63Hz of bang machine is not similar to human impact source and causes some problem in evaluating heavy-weight impact noise but heavy-weight impact noise measurement and evolution using impact ball which is very similar to human impact is more reliable than bang machine. Correction value on the background noise and sensitivity of residents should be considered on the floor impact noise evaluation classes.

  • Copper-based Metal-organic framework (MOF) namely ([Cu (INA)2]-MOF) is synthesized by ball milling and characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for the topography, microstructure, and elemental evidence determination, powdered X-ray diffraction (XRD) for the crystallinity measurement, thermogravimetric (TG) analysis was performed to determine the thermal stability of the material, and Fourier transformed infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy for functional groups identification. The use of [Cu (INA)2]-MOF as hazardous removal material of β-agonists as persistent hazardous micro-pollutants in our environmental water is first reported in this study. The removal efficiency of the Cu-MOF is successfully determined to be 97.7% within 40 minutes, and the MOF has established an exceptional removal capacity of 835 mg L-1 with 95 % percent removal on Clenbuterol (CLB) even after the 5th consecutive cycle. The Langmuir model of the adsorption isotherms was shown to be more favourable, while the pseudo-second-order model was found to be favoured in the kinetics. The reaction was exothermic and spontaneous from a thermodynamic standpoint, and the higher temperatures were unfavourable for the adsorption study of the CLB. As a result, the studied MOF have shown promising properties as possible adsorbents for the removal of CLB in wastewater.

쇼트 볼의 크기에 따르는 SCM822H 강의 무해화 균열크기 평가 (Evaluation of Harmless Crack Size of SCM822H Steel according to Shot Ball Size)

  • In this study, the harmless crack size was evaluated using carburized, quenched-tempered SCM822H steel. The possibility of detecting cracks that reduce the fatigue limit by non-destructive inspection was evaluated. The conclusions obtained are as follows. The retained austenite of surface was reduced by SP. About 35% and 65% of the retained austenite on the surface were transformed into strain-induced martensite, increasing the hardness by 79HV and 122HV over the as-received material. The maximum compressive residual stresses introduced on the surfaces were -695 MPa and -688 MPa, respectively. The fatigue limit increased by 1.48 times and 1.67 times, respectively, compared to the as-received material. The harmless crack size of SP specimen was determined differently depending on the shot ball size.

  • This paper describes the basic structure of high-precision warm forging process for ball joint socket. If this research is successfully finished, We expect that productivity improvement, reduction of material cost and machining process, and cost down than conventional warm forging process.

이축 볼밸브의 볼 경량화를 위한 응력해석 (Stress Analysis of a Trunnion Ball Valve for Ball Weight Reduction)

  • 고압을 받는 플랜트용 제품 설계 시에 대부분 강건 구조를 지양하다 보면 안전율이 높아지고 중량이 과다 해지는 문제가 있다. 본 논문은 플랜트용 이축 볼밸브 볼의 경량화를 위하여 밸브의 3차원 모델링과 ANSYS를 적용한 유한요소해석으로 응력해석을 수행한 후에, 허용 응력 범위와 설계 변경 제한 조건 내에서 최적화 과정으로 볼의 중량 감소를 달성하였다. 약 22%의 볼 중량이 감소되었고 응력은 증가하였으나 안전계수는 1.25가 되었다. 볼의 일부분에 과도한 응력이 있으나 대부분 재료의 항복응력 허용치 내에 있어 안전한 상태이다. 유동의 흐름을 제어하는 실링 (seal) 역할을 하는 시트 인서트와 시트 링 등 밸브의 3차원 모델에 대한 정적 구조해석으로 응력 값을 확인하여 안전함을 확인하였고, 또한 대칭 구조인 부분에 대해 2차원 단순 모델의 구조해석으로 같은 결과가 도출됨을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 범위는 볼의 중량 감소라 볼의 감소된 치수가 도출되었으며, 주변 부재의 재설계는 (신제품 개발에 해당되어) 본 연구에 고려되지 않는다.
