균형조절 요인에 관한 고찰 (A Literature Review on Balance Control Factors)

  • Normal balance is defined as state in which the body is equlilibrium. It is complex motor control task, requring integration of sensory information, neural processing, and biomechanical factors. There are major two factors contribute to balance control, the neurological and the musculoskeletal. The neurological factor provides the sensory processing and motor output mechanisms that are the neurophysiological basis for response. The musculoskeletal factor provides the mechanical structure for response. When all components of two factors are operating effectively, the postural response should be appropriate and effective for good balance control. Therfore, balance can be influenced by above all factors. In addition, balance can be also influenced by muscle tone, hearing, physiological factors, and environmental factors. Physical therapists must understand factors of balance control so that we can accurately assess balance. Therefore, physical therapists have to develop useful balance measurement tools to evaluate balance.

캐릭터간의 대전 시스템을 위한 밸런스 구현 (Balance for Fighting System between Characters)

  • 게임 밸런스는 게임 디자인의 매우 중요한 요소이며, 게임을 좀 더 재미있게 구성하기 위한 필수 요소이다. 대부분의 게임 개발사들은 성공적인 게임 개발을 위하여 자체적인 밸런스 방법을 사용한다. 효율적인 밸런스 방법이 항상 성공적인 게임 개발을 보장할 수는 없으나 게임 개발자의 입장에서 효율적인 게임 개발을 위하여 표준적인 밸런스 방법이 필요한 것이 사실이다. 캐릭터간의 전투 시스템은 주로 액션을 포함한 장르에서 구현된다. 캐릭터간의 전투를 위한 직접적인 밸런스 요소는 각 캐릭터들이 가지게 되는 특성 및 공격 형태들이다. 본 논문에서 우리는 캐릭터간의 대전 시스템을 갖는 게임에서 캐릭터와 관련된 직접적인 밸런스 요소를 구분하고 이에 근간한 수학적 밸런스 방법을 제안한다.

연령에 따른 시각과 청각이 균형수행력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Vision and Audition on Balance Performance According to Age)

  • This study was carried out to know correlation between age and balance performance. factors to effect on balance and prepare the basic data in balance performance evaluation clinically. 180 adults without neurosurgical and orthopedic disability from 20 to 79 years of age participated in this study voluntarily. The subjects performed One Legged Stance Test in five conditions 1) eye open 2) eye close 3) eye open & ear close 4) eye & ear close 5) on sponge. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The mean balance performance time by one legged stance test was 25.97 seconds in eye open, 10.45 seconds in eye close, 23.14 seconds in eye open & ear close, 10.18 seconds in eye & ear close and 23.15 seconds in on sponge. 2. The balance performance declined according to age increasing. 3. The visual factor effected on balance performance greatly. 4. The auditory factor effected less than visual factor on balance performance 5. The compliant surface effected on balance performance in over-fifty age group greatly.

민첩성과 균형감각 간의 상호관계 (Correlation between agility and balance)

  • Background: While agility is a critical factor in the performance of sport in the court field, due to the diversity of agility occurrences, it is generally difficult to develop by strength and conditioning training. Previous study reported the correlation with the static balance and agility. However, the correlation between dynamic balance and agility is insufficient. It is necessary to study how static and dynamic balance affect agility respectively, for agility development. Design: Cross sectional correlational study design Methods: Twenty young women participated in the study. Three tests were used : one leg stance(static balance),Y-balance(dynamic balance), side-step(agility). One leg stance measured time, Y-balance measured distance, and side-step measured number of times. Correlation between balance and agility was used by Pearson Correlation. Results: One leg stance and side steps were shown to be not correlated. The Y balance and the side step showed with a moderate positive correlation. Conclusion: Agility is a decisive factor in fast-moving sports performance, which is generally difficult to improve with muscle strength and conditioning training. Since the correlation between dynamic balance and agility was found in this study, the importance of dynamic balance was found to improve agility to promote coordination.

  • 본 연구는 IT업계 종사자들을 대상으로 업무시간 외 상시연결성이 일과 삶의 갈등에 미치는 영향관계를 살펴보기 위해 시도되었다. 분석 결과, IT업계 종사자들이 지각하고 있는 업무시간 외 상시연결성은 일과 삶의 갈등에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 업무시간 외 상시연결성은 IT분야 종사자들이 지각하는 직무불안정성의 모든 하위요인인 무력감, 직무상실 가능성에도 부정적 영향을 미친것으로 파악되었다. 직무불안정성요인이 일과 삶의 갈등에 미치는 영향 분석에서는 무력감 요인은 일과 삶의 갈등에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었으나 직무상실 가능성 요인은 일과 삶의 갈등에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 직무불안정성(무력감, 직무상실 가능성)은 IT업계 종사자들이 지각하고 있는 업무시간 외 상시연결성과 일과 삶의 갈등의 영향관계에서 부분적 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

MOBA 게임 뉴시즌 Update를 위한 게임 만족 및 밸런스 연구 (A Study on Game Satisfaction and Game Balance of MOBA Game in New Season Update)

  • The MOBA game is updated every year with a new season, the new season update brings fun to the game users and also makes them feel unfamiliar with the new gameplay. In order to let game users better adapt to the new season, this study will extract the new season balance evaluation factors. Firstly, we used one-on-one review to collect the unbalanced factors that game users had encountered at the beginning of the new season of the MOBA game, and secondly, we organized the collected review data into a questionnaire and conducted a survey. The first step of the experiment was to filter out the lower factors through exploratory factor analysis and extract the balance evaluation factors of the MOBA game new season. The second step of the experiment was to examine the correlation between the factors through confirmatory factor analysis, as well as to confirm the appropriateness and explanatory value of the factors. The analysis resulted in "Game character experience", "Game view's expression", "Game level", and "Composition of the game setting" are the four factors. Finally, through correlation analysis, the most relevant factor for game satisfaction is the "Game character experience", and each factor is correlated with each other.

엔진 밸런스 샤프트 하우징의 내구성 평가를 위한 CAE 절차 개발 (CAE Procedure of Engine Balance Shaft Housing for Prediction of Durability)

  • The balance shaft housing in the recent engines tends to have the high cycle fatigue crack caused by increased engine power. In this paper, a CAE procedure is introduced to predict the durability of the balance shaft housing. The procedure is performed through two analysis steps. In the first step, the multibody dynamic simulation is used to obtain more accurate loading boundary conditions applied to the finite element model for the following step. Next, the finite element analysis is performed to predict the durability of the balance shaft housing through the calculation of the safety factor. Through this CAE procedure, the revised balance shaft housing was developed to improve the durability. And the durability of the housing was confirmed experimentally.

  • This study analyses factors facilitating work-family balance through quantitative research and case study. A sense of balance is more closely related to cognition and satisfaction in work and family than demographic factors. Based on these results, two kinds of educational programs for employees and employers were developed. Both programs consist of 4 sessions and focus on the necessity of work-family balance and the application of family-friendly policie.

한국어판 플러턴 어드밴스드 균형 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도 연구 (Reliability and Validity Study on the Korean Version of the Fullerton Advanced Balance Scale)

  • Background: The assessment tool developed in other countries should be translated into Korean language using rigorous methodological approaches in order to be used in Korea. Because these procedures are insufficient for establishing the cross-cultural and linguistic equivalence, the need for statistical methods is raised. The Fullerton Advanced Balance Scale was translated into Korean and the content validity was verified through the back translation method, but the reliability and validity have not yet been proven by statistical methods. Objects: The purpose of this study was to investigate the reliability and validity of the Korean version of the Fullerton Advanced Balance Scale (KFAB) by statistical methods in elderly people. Methods: A total of 97 elderly adults (39 males and 58 females) participated in this study. Internal consistency of the KFAB was measured using Cronbach's alpha and an intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) was used to assess test-retest reliability between the two measurement sessions. Concurrent validity was measured by comparing the KFAB responses with the Korean version of the Berg Balance Scale (KBBS) using the Spearman correlation coefficient. Construct validity of the KFAB was measured using the exploratory factor analysis to evaluate the unidimensionality of the questionnaire. The significance level was set at ${\alpha}=.05$. Results: The internal consistency of the KFAB was found be adequate with Cronbach's alpha (.96), and test-retest reliability was excellent as evidenced by the high ICC (r=.996). Concurrent validity showed high correlation between the KFAB and KBBS (r=.89, p<.001). Construct validity was evaluated using exploratory factor analysis. The result from Bartlett test of sphericity was statistically significant (p<.001), and the value of Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin measure of sampling adequacy was .93. Exploratory factor analysis revealed the existence of only one dominant factor that explained 76.43% of the variance. Conclusion: The KFAB is a reliable, valid and appropriate tool for measuring the balance functions in elderly people.

생태모델을 이용한 해상형 해양심층수 사업해역의 환경 특성 평가 (Estimation of Environmental Characteristics for Deep Ocean Water Development Site Using Ecological Model)

  • A ecosystem model was applied for understanding of circulation process of state variables in marine ecosystem. A mass balance was conducted by calculating the physical process. The sensitivity analysis was conducted to know which coefficient is the most effective factor to the state variables in the model. The results of the mass balance indicate that the primary production was 58.6 ton C/day in the case of mass flux. DIN and DIP in nutrient ingestion of phytoplankton were each 7.9 ton N/day, 1.1 ton P/day. POC and DOC in mineralization of organic matter were each 10.8 ton C/day, 40.6 ton C/day. The results of sensitivity analysis showed that the maximum growth rate of phytoplankton was the most important factor for overall state variables. In the case of nutrients, Half saturation constant of DIN, and mineralization rate of DOM for COD were important factor.
