Due to globalization, the air transport industry plays a key role in the global economy. In particular, the air transport industry is highly dependent on human resources, and the capabilities of the cabin crews in managing safety and providing service in a cabin depend on the service quality and the success of the company's human resource management. Therefore, systematic support and interest in competitive key personnel are believed as very important factors. Airlines need to improve the work engagement of airline cabin crew through organizational supportive efforts. Thus this paper surveyed 309 cabin crews who worked at low cost carrier and conducted an empirical analysis based on survey results. The study validates hypotheses pertaining the relationship between organizational identification and job commitment of cabin crew according to the airline's perception of organizational support. The comprehensive analysis reveals that perceived organization support has a significantly positive impact on cabin crews' work engagement.

최근 항공산업은 항공 기술과 운항환경의 발달로 상당히 안전화되었으나, 인적요인(Human Factor)에 의한 사고 및 준 사고는 계속 발생하고 있다. 따라서 조종사의 훈련은 항공안전을 위한 가장 중요한 과제이나 각국의 규정에서 정하는 훈련과 실제 필요한 훈련 사이에 간격이 있어, 이를 향상하기 위해서 역량기반훈련을 기반으로 한 부조종사 자격제도(Multi-Crew Pilot License, MPL), 증거기반훈련(Evidence Based Training, EBT), 향상된 자격프로그램(Advanced Qualification Programme, AQP)이 개발되었다. 항공 선진국의 항공사들은 기존의 법정 요구량 충족위주 훈련과 항목 중심의 획일적인(One size fits all) 훈련의 패러다임을 개선하여 국제민간항공기구(International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO)와 국제항공운송협회(International Air Transport Association, IATA)에서 제시하는 데로 개인의 역량을 더 향상 시킬 수 있는 효율적인 훈련 프로그램을 실시하여 사고 유발 인적요인을 감소시키고 있다. 역량을 중심으로 하는 조종사 훈련은 변화하는 복잡한 환경에서 예상하지 못한 위협이 발생하였을 때, 조종사들이 적절히 대처 할 수 있는 레질리언트 크루(Resilient Crew)를 양성하는 데 효과적이다.

Recently, together with advancement of domestic aviation industry, overseas tourists using planes have been soared. This study aimed to investigate the risk of diseases for the passengers and flight attendants from the exposed cosmic radiation during the flight by domestic and international literature reviews, as follows. Airliners should develop the program to measure the actual radiation dose and prepare the portable devices for radiation measurement in flight to lower the accumulated dose of cosmic radiation by the attendants. Regulation should be prepared to check the exposed dose during the flight for the passengers by announcement of individual exposed radiation dose which has been provided only to the flight attendants. Passengers and flight attendants should recognize they are exposed to excessive cosmic radiation during the flight and civilians should be protected by the cosmic radiation when they use the flights, which should be prepared by the regulations.

Nowadays aviation noise significantly affects a number of people over the world. This paper is mainly focused on the effect of temporary and permanent hearing loss of cockpit crew, flight attendants, passengers, persons in communities exposed to aircraft overflight. Also this paper describes the human hearing mechanism and the processes of temporary and permanent hearing loss. The results of research are presented and the potential for hearing loss in aviation noise environments evaluated. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) hearing protection criteria are also addressed.

출산율이 낮아지면서 대학에 진학하는 학령인구도 점차 줄어들고 있다. 본 연구는 항공서비스를 전공하는 대학생의 학업지속의향에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴봄으로써 전공만족, 진로성숙도, 학업지속의향의 관계를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위한 자료 수집은 전국의 4년제 항공서비스학을 전공하는 학생들을 대상으로 설문을 받았으며, 이를 통해 결과를 분석하였다. SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 통하여 전산 처리하였다. 본 연구의 가설검증 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요만족은 진로성숙도의 하위변수인 결정성, 목적성, 확실성, 준비성, 독립성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 전공만족이 학업지속의향에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로성숙도는 학업지속의향에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 하위변수별 결정성, 준비도, 독립성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The objective of the study is to analyze the pilot's behavior such as preference and management technique to the automation of aircraft through Flight Management Attitude Questionnaire(FMAQ) survey. Participants in the survey are grouped in rank and nationality, and attitudes of those groups toward the automation are analyzed. Previous empirical studies have demonstrated large cross-nation differences in attitudes regarding task performance across several work domains including aviation. Analysis of the survey shows that the pilots in Asia region like the automation and its usage more than the pilots in western and Oceania regions. The trust in the automation is higher among glass cockpit pilots than among the conventional aircraft pilots. More foreign pilots than Korean pilots believe that the automation may deteriorate their flight skills. While more Korean pilots than foreign pilots agree that their flight skills can be kept by manual controls. The pilots also feel that the automated cockpits would require more verbal communications between crew members. For improving the automation management skills and the effective automation usage, the Situation Awareness training and Crew Resource Management(CRM) training are strongly suggested.
