Pressure-Dependent Yield Criterion For Polymeric Foams (폴리머폼의 압력종속항복조건에 관한 연구)

  • Polymeric foams are excellent energy absorber and have found a wide range of applications especially in the automotive industry. The purpose of the present study is to develop experimental and theoretical methodology to characterize the pressure dependent yield behavior of polymeric foams. For the compression test in a triaxial stress sate a specially designed device was placed in a press machine to produce and control oil pressure. From the experiment results it was observed that the size of Mother circles is changed with mean normal stress in contrast to general metal. Then the Coulomb-Mohr criterion was applied to the data.

  • 속도의 가변이 많지 않은 모터 application에서는 벡터 제어보다 홀센서를 사용한 BLDC제어를 주로 사용하고 있다. 하지만 기본적으로 홀센서의 기구적인 취약점으로 인하여 BLDC 제어에 문제점이 발생하는 현상을 확인할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 BLDC전동기 구동에 필요한 3개의 홀센서를 이용한 전동기 구동방식에서 하나의 홀센서를 이용하여 회전자의 위치를 추정하는 방법에 대해 제안하였다. 이러한 방식을 통해 홀센서의 취약 부분인 열에 의해 손상되는 경우나 기구적으로 위치오차를 가지고 있는 경우에도 정상적으로 위치정보를 습득할 수 있도록 하여 정상적인 BLDC제어를 할 수 있도록 하는 방안을 제안하였다.

  • The die casting process was used to manufacture an automotive alternator housing. Generally automobile parts are required to be light and have high strength. The control of casting defects is important but has usually been depended only on the experience of the foundry engineer. Therefore simulations have been carried out on the die casting process of alternator housing. In this paper. we investigated the characteristics of the die casted alternator housing with the HPDC(High Pressure Die Casting) process. We presented the results of filling behavior and solidification process of the cast, The analysis results obtained from the filling behavior and solidification of cast agreed with test results.

  • The use of tailor welded blanks(TWB) in automotive applications is increasing due to the potential of weight and cost saving In this study, the front side member of passenger car is developed by typical analysis and crash simulations. According this results, energy absorption and barrier force is very important to control passenger safety and deformation shape. For that purpose, it is most effective to absorb energy more tailor welded blanks front side member than non-twb. The front side member with twb is simulated, in which reduced stamping parts, weight reduction and cost down.

  • Most of automotive plastic parts are injection molding products. Inspection of total product is impossible, because number of product to inspect is too many and various. Condition-based Monitoring was proposed to decrease cost and time for inspecting. In this research, a system that predicts quality of part at fabrication point of time, and confirms informations through the internet was developed. Cavity sensors were installed inside of mold, and gathered signals as measuring, and through this process Sensor-based Monitoring system can be observed manufacturing of a part. Monitoring system transmits signals to client through the internet, and finally developed system provides manufacturing informations and predictions of quality as web-based monitoring.

  • 최근 네트워크를 이용한 제어 시스템은 기존의 중앙집중식 제어방식을 벗어나 점차 분산형 제어 방식을 이용하고 있다. 이는 흔히 필드 버스라 일컫는 분산형 제어방식이 여러 가지 장점을 가지고 있기 때문이다. 특히 CAN(Controller Area Network)는 차량내의 Wiring Harness의 공간과 중량을 덜 차지하고 Controller 간의 빠르고 안정적이며 내구성이 우수한 차량 내 네트워크 프로토콜로 주로 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 CAN 프로토콜을 이용하여 차량 HVAC FAN의 엑추에이터로 사용되는 DC Motor의 속도 제어를 수행하였다.

  • 최근 고유가 문제와 환경에 대한 관심 증가로 인해 친환경 저연비 자동차에 대한 기술 연구가 다양한 분야에서 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이 가운데서도 특히 반도체 및 배터리의 급속한 기술발전으로 자동차용 부품들이 기계식 방식에서 전자식 방식으로 대체되고 있다. 자동차 동력효율을 높이기 위해 내연기관 및 주변 전장장치들의 온도를 주행조건에 따라 제어하여 적정하게 유지시킬 필요가 있으며 이를 위한 자동차 부품으로 전동워터펌프의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 자동차용 전동워터펌프 제어기 개발을 위하여 브러시리스형 DC모터를 적용하였으며, 내환경성과 고신뢰성을 고려하여 제어기를 개발하였다.

Parameter Identification of an Induction Motor Drive with Magnetic Saturation for Electric Vehicle

  • This paper presents a simulation model and a parameter identification scheme of an induction motor drive for electric vehicle. The induction motor in automotive applications should operate in very high efficiency and achieve the maximum-torque-per-ampere (MTPA) feature even with saturated magnetic flux under very high torque. The indirect vector control which is typically adopted in traction drive system requires precise information of motor parameters, particularly rotor time constants. This work models an induction motor considering magnetic saturation and proposes an empirical identification method using the current controller in the synchronous reference frame. The proposed method is applied to a 22kW-rated induction motor for electric vehicle.

  • Recently, the automotive industry has replaced cast iron to lightweight materials like aluminum for engine efficiency of automobiles and an emission control by government. In this paper we studied two auto parts manufacturing methods using an alloy of A356. That is gravity casting and H-NCM Rheo-diecasting forging. We analyzed the microstructure and mechanical properties for this method. In Microstructure analysis results, H-NCM Rheo-diecasting forging has more finer microstrucre and better forging effect. Resulting in better mechanical properties than gravity forging.

  • In the recent day, fatigue life prediction techniques play a major role in the design of components in th ground vehicle industry. Full scale durability testing in the laboratory is an essential of any fatigue life evaluation of components or structure of the automotive vehicle. Component testing is particularly important in today's highly competitive industries where the design to reduce weight and production costs must be balanced with the necessity to avoid expensive service failure. Generally, multi-axis durability testing simulator is used to car교 out the fatigue test. In this paper, the operation software for simultaneously driving 3-axis simulator is developed and the real-time signals of input-output data are displayed in window of PC. Moreover, the displacements and the loads of 3-axis actuators are calibrated separately and the operating characteristics of the actuators are evaluated.
