  • 회전식 스마트 조명 시스템은 기존 식물공장에 무수히 많이 설치되는 LED와 형광등을 대신하여 비교적 적은 양으로 설치된 LED와 형광등을 회전시키는 시스템으로써 작물 재식판의 작물들에게 필요한 광을 회전하며 공급하는 방법이다. 이로 인하여 식물공장에 조명 시스템을 설치할 때 방생되는 고가의 초기 설치비용을 해결하고자 하는 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 식물이 생장하는데 필요한 광량과 광속, 광양자속 밀도를 계산하고 블레이드에 설치되는 LED의 개수를 설정하였으며, 조명 시뮬레이션 프로그램 Relux를 이용하여 조명 장치가 회전함에 따라 조명장치의 중심과 바깥쪽에 생기는 광량의 차이를 확인 하였다.

Parametric Study on the Design of Turbocharger Journal Bearing (터보챠져 저어널베어링의 설계에 관한 매개변수 연구)

  • Turbocharger bearings are under the circumstance of high temperature, moreover rotated at high speed. It is necessary to be designed to overcome the high temperature. So the type of oil inlet port, the inlet oil temperature and the sort of engine oil should be designed, controlled and selected carefully in order to reduce the bearing inside temperature. Therefore, in this study, the effects of the type of inlet oil port, inlet temperature and the sort of engine oil on the performance of a turbocharger bearing are to be investigated. It is found that the type of oil inlet ports, the control of inlet oil temperature and the selection of engine oil type play important roles in determining the temperature and pressure, then the friction and load of a turbocharger journal bearing at high speed operation.

  • This study is related with the development of CNC spinning machine and the axisymmetric conventional spinning such as drum type and conical type steel shells. The CNC spinning machine is constructed with heavy duty frame and the hydraulic servo system is applied in order to give the exactness of motion control. The experiment has been carried out considering feeding velocity, mandrel shape, and the corner radius of mandrel and forming rollers. As a result of experiment, the limiting spinning ratio and thickness strain distribution are obtained and it can be seen that the spinnability is dominant to the feeding velocity and corner radius of forming roller. This research can contribute to the development of axisymmetric mechanical part which is applicable to automotive and aerospace industry.

  • Recent studies indicate potential links between various psychosocial factors and work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). In this research, the effects of job stressors on the WMSDs symptoms were investigated using questionnaire in the largest automotive company in Korea. It was found that perception of workload, over time and shift work, and working using powered hand tools were significant factors for the symptoms of WMSDs, along with smoking habit, periodic exercise, and interpersonal relationship. Practical applications of this research include practitioners taking into account psychosocial work factors and job stress in their efforts to reduce and control WMSDs.

  • This paper presents a high-frequency electronic ballast for HID lamps. A new fixed frequency dimming method with low EMI features is developed in this research. The proposed electronic ballast has the advantages of high power density, simple circuit and low EMI features. The circuit operating principle and design procedures are described in detail. A laboratory prototype was built and tested. The simulation and experimental waveforms verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme.

  • This paper presents the detection of internal combustion engine's multiple misfire. The primary cause of air pollution by vehicles is imperfect conbustion of fuel. The CARB(California Air Resources Board) have imposed regulations for the detection of misfiring in automotive engines. The OBD-II regulations requir that misfire should be monitored by the diagnostic system, and that the goal of OBD-II is to alert the driver to the presence of a malfunction of the emission control system. Present invention based upon measurements of engine roughness as derived from crankshaft angular velocity measurements with special signal processing method. Crankshaft angular velocity signals are processed by walsh-fourier transform. Experimental work confims that it's possible to apply walsh-fourier transform for the detection of multiple misfires in no-load idle and road testing.

  • This paper proposes a novel ECU (Electronic Control Units) update algorithm for AUTOSAR based automotive embedded system. The proposed algorithm provides fast and easy ECU update by extending AUTOSAR CAN Interface. The proposed system removes the update sequences from PDUR to RTE (ECU update program), and it stops other ISRs and operating system in order to reduce unnecessary context switching time. In experimental results, we can see that the proposed algorithm reduces update time.

  • 자동차 부품은 주행 중 전후, 좌우, 상하방향의 병진 운동과 각 축에 대한 회전 운동 등 6자유도의 운동을 받는다. 이와 같은 운동에 따라 자동차에 탑재되는 운전석(cockpit), 의자(seat), 연료탱크, 라디에이터, FEM(front end module) 등의 부품 및 모듈 등은 6자유도 운동을 받으면서 각 부품의 기능을 수행하고 있다. 따라서 이들 부품을 짧은 시간 내에 개발하기 위해서는 가속내구시험평가가 필수적인데 이를 위해 유압식 6자유도 가진 테이블을 이용한 기술이 활용되고 있다. 본 해설에서는 자동차 부품 및 모듈의 내구성능 평가 과정과 함께 유압식 6자유도 가진 테이블을 보유하고 관련 부품의 진동내구성능을 평가하고 있는 군산대학교 자동차부품기술혁신센터(KATIC)의 시험 평가장비 및 사례를 기술하였다. 이와 같은 자동차 부품 내구성능평가 방법과 6자유도 가진 테이블을 이용한 시험은 향후 자동차부품 및 일반기계부품 개발업체에서 내구성능향상을 위하여 활용도가 더욱 증대될 것이다.

  • Port size 80mm or above large-flow type solenoid valves are extensively used in dust collector and power plants. These multi-stage solenoid valve have few problem. first, multi-solenoid valves are almost depend on imports and there are weak in the brine environment and the low energy efficiency. Because these problem, increased the necessity of research on the development of large flow and high pressure type solenoid valves. In this study, describe the design method of multi-stage solenoid test bench and confirm the influence valve performance on several parameter such as diaphragm orifice diameter. At first, each part has modeled by AMESim simulation tool and combining them. This AMESim virtual multi-stage solenoid valve found influence valve performance on the valve parameter. Finally developed the multi-stage solenoid valve and verified that performance on experimental result.

  • Currently, wired gables have been installed or portable storage devices have been installed for data acquisition of flying drone. In this paper, we propose a technology to transmit data wirelessly by sensing information such as battery discharge value, acceleration, and temperature by attaching RF sensor to a drone. The purpose of this paper is to design and develop the monitoring technology of agriculture drone battery usage in real time using RF sensor. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system that can check real time data of battery changed value, temperature, and acceleration during pesticide control activity of agricultural drone.
