This paper embodies the agent based cinder monitoring system which supports PDA(Personal Digital Assistant). Monitoring system automatically manages data by using data managing agents such as a state managing agent, a location managing agent, a badness managing agent, a circumstances managing agent, etc, and uses a massive data processing agent to manage massive data. The development of agent based data monitoring system for the stable cinder reuse will be an epoch-making method to develop the process mechanized or manual-labored that widely spreads into the real-time automated process.

본 연구는 자동색인시스템의 색인기능을 통해서 추출된 색인어를 이용해서 검색시스템에서 요구되는 전거파일을 구축하는 작업의 효용성을 확인하기 위한 시험적 연구의 결과를 정리한 것이다. 언론연구원의 KINDS 서비스 시스템의 신문기사 데이터베이스에서 색인시스템을 통해 추출된 약 80만개의 색인어를 기본자료로 삼아 색인어를 하위분류하고, 그것을 이용한 전거파일 구축의 가능성을 타진해 본 것이다.

In this paper, brain CT images are automatically segmented to reconstruct the 3-D scene from consecutive CT sections. Contextual segmentation technique was applied to overcome the partial volume artifact and statistical fluctuation phenomenon of soft tissue images. Images are hierarchically analyzed by region growing and graph editing techniques. Segmented regions are discriptively decided to the final organs by using the semantic informations.

본 논문에서는 상태합성기 설계를 위하여 상태그래프를 자동으로 CHDL로 변환하는 그래픽 에디터를 개발하였다. 또한 FSN 합성과정 중에 상태테이블의 중독상태를 제거 할 수 있는, 구성이 간단하고 빠른 시간내에 최소해를 구할 수 있는 상태축소 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

Hyundai Electronics Industries Corp has developed a navigation system which automatically computes the current position and displays it on the map using GPS(Global Positioning System). This system has such features as follow : searching of destination by means of digital mapping, locating of the present position on the map and detecting of guidance timing through signals from the artificial satellites and vehicle's sensors, and having a few of functions as TV & VTR monitoring, tracing the route, displaying service information which include hotels, restaurants, entertainments, et al. This paper describes the operations and construction of this navigation system.

We introduce a technique for designing homogeneous magnets using linear programming. The method has several advantages over existing techniques including: it allows complete flexibility in arbitrary geometric constraints on both the coil locations and the shape of the homogeneous volume; it guarantees a globally optimal solution, and it automatically choose the minimum number of coils necessary for the constraints.

ATC(Automatic Train Control) system employed in Bundang urban transit is operated in accordance with automatic blocking equipment. Using AF(Audio Frequency) track circuits installed at a block section, the block signal is automatically controlled and the safety of train operation is supported. In this paper, we investigate the operation mode of bundang urban transit and analyze the operation algorithm of ATC on-board system.

Muilti-dimensional feature vector matching algorithm uses multiple features such as intensity, gradient, variance, first or second derivative of a pixel to find correspondence pixels in stereo images. In this paper, we proposed a new method for adjusting automatically the weight of feature in multi-dimensional feature vector matching considering sharpeness of a pixel in feature vector distance curve. The sharpeness consists of minimum and maximum vector distances of a small window mask. In the experiment we used IKONOS satellite stereo imagery and obtained accurate matching results comparable to the manual weight-adjusting method.

In recent years, the size of data set which we usually handle is enormous, so a lot of outliers could be included in data set. Therefore the robust procedures that automatically handle outliers become very importance issue. We consider the robust estimation problem of location parameter in the univariate case. In this paper, we propose a new method for defining robustness weights for the weighted mean based on the median distance of observations and compare its performance with several existing robust estimators by a simulation study. It turns out that the proposed method is very competitive.

This paper proposes an intelligent simulation generator, called INSIMS, for manufacturing systems. The INSIMS provides an interactive dialogue interactive dialogue interface and code generation tools for modeling and code genration of manufacturing systems. The interactive dialogue interface helps non-expert simulation modeler specify manufacturing systems with ease. After completing the model construction processes, the modeling specifications are automatically converted into SLAM II codes by code generation tools. To validate the usefulness of INSIMS and to illustrate the modeling processes, an example system has been presented.
