  • A speed of a train is controlled by Automatic Train Control system and the continuous transmission system provide the speed related information in the Korean High Speed Line. The primary objective of this paper is to measure the level of continuous signal and to calculate the message of that signal. A measuring equipment is introduced and the equipment provide the base line of the level of current and the correction information of the message.

  • SCADA and DCS that have performed automatic control and monitoring activities increase the productivity of enterprise in industries. In such systems, although their performance had been improved, there are still many deficiencies in predictive maintenance which can foresee the risk of any kinds of accidents. Because the data acquisition systems of main facilities are being distributed throughout the whole plant and therefore, integration of data obtained from the systems is very difficult. Accordingly, techniques that acquire meaningful information from the gathered data through realtime analysis still need to be improved. This paper introduces a developed facility monitoring system which can predict equipment failure and diagnose facility status through big data analysis to improve equipment efficiency and prevent safety accidents.

  • Recently, the production process system is largely composed automatic system using the wired network. The production process system using wired network has disadvantages that take place expense when the installed and inspected production of equipment was replaced. The each equipment happens to repair cost for control and management in production processes. In this paper, the industrial equipment that applied for IEEE 802.15.4(ZigBee) technology solves a complicated space at the plant. And then when the industrial equipments replace wired network with wireless network, this paper studied its user interface.

  • Ventilation equipment performs a central role to maintain comfort subway environment. So ventilation equipment of Busan subway line No.1 is required to improve thermal environment. In this study, conditions of thermal environment are presented to improve ventilation equipment at existing subway station platforms by measuring thermal environment of platforms operated ventilation equipment at 14 stations of Busan subway line No.1. AWS of data in comparison with the neighbouring platforms and thermal environment analysis. Thermal environment status of subway platform analysis results are as follows. 1)Daytime platform temperature was higher than outdoor temperature, but night time platform temperature was lower than outdoor temperature. 2)Train wind had effect on improving thermal comfort in platform. 3)When outdoor temperature is below $24^{\circ}C$, inlet air is able to lower than platform temperature. 4)Considering existing ventilation system, night purge systems is useful to improving platform thermal environment.

  • Recently, as interest in personal hygiene has increased due to the community spread of COVID-19 and variant viruses, fixed and potable UV germicidal equipment to sterilize indoor spaces and hand-held UV germicidal equipment to sterilize household items such as masks and mobile phones are continuously being developed and sold. However, the development and sales of the product are difficult because appropriate testing methods have not yet been established. In this situation, if an uncertified product is distributed in the market, it can cause serious harm to consumers. In this study, we investigate the photobiological risks and safety devices against UV exposure of UV germicidal equipment distributed domestically, and propose appropriate test methods for portable UV germicidal equipment based on the research results.

  • In this paper, we proposed the microcalcification detection algorithm which is based on wavelet transform and automatic thresholding method in the X-ray mammographic images. Digital X-ray imaging system is essential equipment in the field diagnosis and is widely used in the various fields such as chest, fracture of a bone, and dental correction. Especially, digital X-ray mammographic imaging is known as the most important method to diagnose the breast cancer, many researches to develop the imaging system are processing in country. In this paper, we proposed a microcalcifications detection algorithm necessary in the early phase of breast cancer diagnosis and showed that a algorithm could effectively detect microcalfication and could aid diagnosis-radiologist.
