BIM을 이용한 초대형 건축물 방재 및 피난 관련 법규 자동검토 가능성 연구 (A Study on the Possibility of using BIM in Automated Building Code Checking for Egress and Anti-disaster Regulations for Large-scale Buildings)

  • 최근 건축물이 대형화, 복잡화되면서 예기치 못한 상황에 대한 안전성 문제가 이슈화되고 있다. 그러나 초대형 건물의 경우 규모가 커서 수작업으로 방재 및 안전성과 관련한 법규 검토에 시간이 많이 걸리고, 실수가 일어날 가능성도 높다. 이러한 문제로 한 조사에 따르면 건축 및 건설관련자-실무자의 83%가 자동법규검토 시스템이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 본 연구는 기존의 자동법규검토 시스템 및 연구현황을 살펴보고, 기존 BIM기술을 이용하여 국내 방재 및 피난 관련법규를 자동으로 검토하기 위한 시스템개발 가능성을 검토하고자 한다. 이밖에 자동법규검토 시스템의 필요성과 그 기대효과를 분석하고 기존 연구사례를 통해, 국내 적용가능 여부를 검토하고, 지역적 특수성에 대한 문제점, 한계를 논의한다. 또 그러한 문제점들에 대한 해결책과 향후 발전방안을 제시한다. 본 연구에서는 피난관련 법규로 그 범위를 제한하였지만 앞으로 전체적인 법규 자동검토시스템이 구축되기 위해 필요한 노력과 작업에 대해 알아보고 연구해 나가야할 것이다.

  • 자동화 컨테이너 터미널에서 자동화 장치장 크레인(ASC)은 장치장 블록 내에서의 컨테이너 운송을 담당한다. 본 논문에서는 크기와 사양이 동일한 두 대의 ASC의 작업 할당 문제를 해결하기 위한 다중 평가 기준 전략을 제안한다. 제안 방안은 컨테이너 터미널의 상황을 다각적으로 고려하기 위하여 여러 평가 요소를 통해 후보 작업을 평가하고, 결과를 가중합함으로써 가장 높은 점수를 얻은 작업을 크레인에 할당하는 방식을 취한다. 본 논문에서는 작업 할당을 위한 평가 기준을 고안하고, 평가 결과를 취합하기 위한 가중치를 유전 알고리즘을 이용하여 최적화하는 방안을 제안한다. 실험 결과를 통하여 제안 방안이 낮은 계산 비용으로 실시간 터미널에 적합함을 보이고, 다양한 평가 기준을 통한 작업 할당이 컨테이너 터미널의 효율을 개선시킴을 확인하였다.

구획배치에 따른 최소 전단력을 고려한 H-CSR 기반 중형 살물선 종강도 부재의 중량 절감 방안 연구 (On the Weight Reduction of Longitudinal Members of Mid-Sized Bulk Carrier Considering the Minimum Shear Force according to Compartment Arrangement based on H-CSR)

  • Because the Energy Efficiency Design Index(EEDI) came into effect in 2013, it is necessary to develop a new technology to overcome $CO_2$ emission regulations. In structural design viewpoint, lots of researches are carried out to develop eco-friendly and high fuel efficiency ships by weight reduction. By using the automated compartment arrangement system and automated structural design algorithm which were developed by the authors, new researches are performing to combine the above two systems. However, the effect of weight reduction was not significant because structural designs by using these systems for the midship part was carried out only focused on the minimum still water bending moment. In this paper, at first, good compartment arrangements which give the minimum still water bending moment and(or) shear force were chosen by using the automated compartment system. And then, influence of shear force on weight reduction was investigated by using the automated structural design algorithm considering longitudinal strength, local strength and shear strength of longitudinal members in cargo holds. Conclusively, it is necessary to consider the minimum still water bending moment and shear force simultaneously to reduce the weight of mid-sized bulk carrier. Also, good compartment arrangement which gives much more weight reduction compared with existing ship was proposed.

Automated 3D scoring of fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) using a confocal whole slide imaging scanner

  • Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) is a technique to visualize specific DNA/RNA sequences within the cell nuclei and provide the presence, location and structural integrity of genes on chromosomes. A confocal Whole Slide Imaging (WSI) scanner technology has superior depth resolution compared to wide-field fluorescence imaging. Confocal WSI has the ability to perform serial optical sections with specimen imaging, which is critical for 3D tissue reconstruction for volumetric spatial analysis. The standard clinical manual scoring for FISH is labor-intensive, time-consuming and subjective. Application of multi-gene FISH analysis alongside 3D imaging, significantly increase the level of complexity required for an accurate 3D analysis. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to establish automated 3D FISH scoring for z-stack images from confocal WSI scanner. The algorithm and the application we developed, SHIMARIS PAFQ, successfully employs 3D calculations for clear individual cell nuclei segmentation, gene signals detection and distribution of break-apart probes signal patterns, including standard break-apart, and variant patterns due to truncation, and deletion, etc. The analysis was accurate and precise when compared with ground truth clinical manual counting and scoring reported in ten lymphoma and solid tumors cases. The algorithm and the application we developed, SHIMARIS PAFQ, is objective and more efficient than the conventional procedure. It enables the automated counting of more nuclei, precisely detecting additional abnormal signal variations in nuclei patterns and analyzes gigabyte multi-layer stacking imaging data of tissue samples from patients. Currently, we are developing a deep learning algorithm for automated tumor area detection to be integrated with SHIMARIS PAFQ.

자율주행 차량의 터널내 측위오차 보정 지원시설 선정 (Selecting a Landmark for Repositioning Automated Driving Vehicles in a Tunnel)

  • 일반적으로 자율주행 차량은 측위를 위하여 GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System)에서 절대위치 신호를 수신하여 지도에 매칭하는 방식을 사용한다. 하지만 도심이나 터널에서 정상적인 위성신호를 수신하기 어렵기 때문에 추측항법(Dead Reckoning)으로 절대위치를 추측하므로 누적 오차의 주기적 보정이 병행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 자율주행시 GNSS 위치 신호 수신이 어려운 터널 내에서 사용되는 추측항법의 오차를 일정수준 이하로 유지하기 위하여 기존 도로시설물을 이용한 오차 보정을 위한 시설물의 선정 방법을 제안하였다. 시설물의 특성으로서 모양, 설치위치 등 '다양성' 검토를 위하여 관련 기준 검토, 영상 및 라이다센서 조사로 얼마나 잘 인지하는 지에 대한 '인지성' 조사, 설치위치 및 간격에 의한 '규칙성'을 조사하여 후보시설물을 선정하였다. 본 연구 결과로 측위오차 보정 지원시설로 소화전함/안내표지(50m), 유도표지등A(300m), Lane Control System(500m), 최고/최저속도제한표지, 제트팬을 선정하였으며, 기존 시설물만으로 오차 보정이 가능하다고 판단하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 자율주행 차량의 터널내 측위보정시 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • Social infrastructure is the basis of public welfare and should be recognized and managed as important assets. Bridge is one of the most important infrastructures to be managed systematically because the impact of the failure is critical. It is essential to monitor the performance of bridges in order to manage them as an asset. But current analytical methods such as predictive modeling and structural analysis are very complicated and difficult to use in practice. To apply these methods, structural and material condition data collection should be performed in each element of bridge. But it is difficult to collect these detailed data in large numbers and various kinds of bridges. Therefore, it is necessary to collect data of major measurement items and predict the life of bridges roughly with advanced information technologies. When certain measurement items reach predefined limits in the monitoring bridges, precise performance measurement will be done by detailed site measurement. This paper describes the selection of major measurement items that can represent the tendency of bridge life and introduces automated bridge data collection test-bed using wireless sensor network technology. The following will be major parts of this paper: 1) Examining the features of conventional bridge management system and data collection method 2) Mileage concept as a bridge life indicator and measuring method of the indicator 3) Test-bed of automated and real-time based bridge life indicator monitoring system using wireless sensor network

다단계 자동가공/조립제조시스템에서 다목표 작업제어 기법 (Operation control method for multiple objectives on multiple stages automated machining /assembly systems)

  • This paper is concentraed on a study of operation for multiple objectives in a automated manufacturing system with multiple machining cells . Largest Sum Processing-time First(LSPF) was developed in order to minimize makespan, mean flowtime and maximize mean utilization and compare with Ho and Chang's algorithm(HC) and Hunsucker and Shah's algorithm(HS). The results show that LSPF provides better soutions than HC at 78.2% and than HS at 67.8% of total problems to frequency . LSPF reduces 5.8% of makespan by HC and 22.1% of the value by HS and curtails 15.8% , 7.5% of mean flowtime by receptive algorithms(HC, HS). And mean utilization is also higher about 5.5% than HC and HS.

음성인식을 이용한 자동 호 분류 철도 예약 시스템 (A Train Ticket Reservation Aid System Using Automated Call Routing Technology Based on Speech Recognition)

  • This paper describes the automated call routing for train ticket reservation aid system based on speech recognition. We focus on the task of automatically routing telephone calls based on user's fluently spoken response instead of touch tone menus in an interactive voice response system. Vector-based call routing algorithm is investigated and mapping table for key term is suggested. Korail database collected by KT is used for call routing experiment. We evaluate call-classification experiments for transcribed text from Korail database. In case of small training data, an average call routing error reduction rate of 14% is observed when mapping table is used.

  • Researchers in KISTI have been participating in the WISET Fellow Mentoring program since 2009 [1]. We describe the history and future of WISET Fellow Mentoring program from KISTI. We have communicated with mentees more freely and effectively using complementary online and offline system. In addition, we designed a automated matching process in order to help mentors and mentees to begin mentoring with satisfaction [2-6]. In the future, we plan to use our automated matching process for matching candidate mentors and mentees in order to obtain more satisfaction in mentoring.

  • The automated computer-aided drafting technique is attempted for drawing process pictures of axisymmetric solid forgings which are mainly used in automobile industry. For this study basic concepts to draw the shape of an element are described and applied to the 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional modeling of forged parts. 2-dimensional display of process pictures is developed by using AutoLISP language in AutoCAD software of a drafting technique and 3-dimensional view of process pictures is based on the UG/open API and UG/open GRIP languages of Unigraphics software. Testing the developed program to forging of bolts and ballstuds, it was shown to give good results to be applicable in forging industry.
