Severely absorbed edentulous ridge cannot bear mechanical stress, causes undesired transformation of oral environment and makes patients difficult to adapt to dentures. Nowadays implant overdenture can be a treatment of choice in order to relieve patients' discomfort and improve stability and retention of the denture. Placement of implant on maxilla is difficult because of its bone quality and anatomic structure. It also has wide supportive tissue and convenience of border sealing, which provides sufficient support and stabilization with conventional complete denture. Mandible, on the other hand, is difficult to obtain sufficient support, retention and stabilization with conventional complete denture. Therefore, implant overdenture is recommended on mandible. Locator attachment has been improved for convenience of use and male parts of various retention enabled it to replace ball type attachment clinically. In this study, we restored maxillary arch with conventional denture, and mandibular arch with implant and tissue-supported overdenture and Locator attachment system.

Among Korea's content industries, the game industry is growing in size to the extent that it can be said to be a representative export-benefiting industry. Accordingly, many users are immersed in the game, and furthermore, they are addicted. This study aims to derive factors for social game users to continue to use by identifying the factors of domestic social network game users' attachment to social network games and empirically studying the causal relationship between these factors and the intention to continue to use them through immersion and addiction. To this end, a research model was presented that applies the main variables of the attachment theory of social network game users to games. The research model of this study surveyed general college students at S University in Seoul who tended to use social network games. As a result of the study, first, it was found that perceived stability had a significant effect on immersion and addiction. Second, it was found that perceived avoidance had a significant effect on immersion and did not have a significant effect on addiction. Third, perceived anxiety was found to have a significant effect on immersion, and it was found that it did not significantly affect addiction. Fourth, it was found that immersion did not significantly affect addiction, and it was found that it had a significant effect on continuous use intention. Fifth, addiction was found to have a significant effect on the intention to continue use. Through this, social network game users' attachment to games can provide useful implications for social network game companies to become attached to existing consumers, spreading social network game users, and improving the possibility of continuous use.
Purpose: Maternal-fetal attachment in a pregnant woman is important for her health and for her child's emotional stability. This study was done to identify the contribution of maternal fatigue, social support, and Taegyo to maternal-fetal attachment based on a survey of pregnant women. Methods: The study was a descriptive correlation study. Participants were 211 from two women's health clinic centers. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Mean scores for maternal-fetal attachment, Taegyo, maternal fatigue, and social support were 93.74 (range 25-125), 64.76 (17-85), 24.12 (10-40), and 54.43 (22-132), respectively. There were significant differences in maternal-fetal attachment according to parity, breast feeding experience, and putting prenatal education into practice. Multiple regression analysis showed that the key determinants of maternal-fetal attachment, were Taegyo (${\beta}$=.67), maternal fatigue (${\beta}$=.21), and social support (${\beta}$=.13), and these explained 55% of the total variance of attachment. Conclusion: The results suggest a need to encourage Taegyo in prenatal management program and provide methods for fatigue resolution and promotion of social support.

One of the treatment options for edentulous state patients with residual ridge resorption is implant overdenture using milled bar and attachment. It not only provides improved retention and stability but can also reduce the coverage of palatal surface. In addition, when a small number of implants are used, milled bar has the effect of being splinted between implant fixtures, which makes it mechanically advantageous under functions such as mastication. The patient in this case was a maxillary edentulous state patient with a considerable amount of residual alveolar bone resorption after removing the existing failed implants. Three implants were planted on both sides and an implant overdenture was fabricated using milled bar and ADD-TOC attachment.
Patients with malocclusion may present with preexisting mucogingival problems susceptible to attachment loss during or after orthodontic treatment. Lower anterior teeth especially show a high prevalence of gingival recession following orthodontic treatment. This case report demonstrates hard tissue augmentation of labially thin or deficient alveolar bone (dehiscences and fenestrations) to prevent attachment loss during or after orthodontic treatment. Three patients presented clinically prominent root surfaces and dehiscences and fenestrations on cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) in lower anterior teeth. Labial hard tissue augmentation of lower anterior teeth was performed with deproteinized bovine bone mineral and collagen membrane. Six months later, hard tissue augmentation reduced root prominence and created a greater volume of hard tissue on lower anterior area in clinical and radiographic findings. Hard tissue augmentation using xenograft could prevent attachment loss associated with orthodontic treatment and maintain stability of healthy periodontium.
This paper describes the process of analyzing vehicle stiffness in terms of frequency band in order to improve vehicle handling. Vehicle handling and ride comfort are highly related to the systems such as suspension, seat, steering, and the car body design. In existing analytical processes, the resonance frequency of a car body is designed to be greater than 25 Hz in order to increase the stiffness of the body against idle vibration. This paper introduces a method for using a band with a frequency lower than 20 Hz to analyze how stiffness affects vehicle handling. Accordingly, static stiffness analysis of a 1g cornering force was conducted to minimize the deformation of vehicle components derived from a load on parts attached to the suspension. In addition, this technology is capable of achieving better performance than older technology. Analysis of how body attachment stiffness affects the dynamic stiffness of a bushing in the attachment parts of the suspension is expected to lead to improvements with respect to vehicle handling and road noise. The process of developing a car body with a high degree of stiffness, which was accomplished in the preliminary stage of this study, confirms the possibility of improving the stability performance and of designing a lightweight prototype car. These improvements can reduce the time needed to develop better vehicles.

Most tasks of the large vertical or ceiling structures have been carried out by human power. Those tasks require us much operation costs and times, safety devices, etc. So the need of automation for those tasks have been rising. That automation needs a wall-climbing mobile vehicle. Most former researches are things about attachment devices and moving mechanisms. A wall-climbing mobile vehicle must be designed by a method different from the case of the vehicle of the horizontal environment. That is because gravity acts as a negative role on the stability of a wall-climbing vehicle. In this thesis, the particular shape characteristics of a wall-climbing mobile vehicle are derived by the wall-environment modeling. In addition, some design constraints of the permanent magnetic wheel as an attachment device was studied. According to those requirements and constraints, one specific wall-climbing mobile vehicle was designed and some experiments were made on the attachment ability of that vehicle.

This study investigated the effects of textile attachments on electroencephalogram using 20 persons (10 males and 10 females). Four types of attachment cushions were manufactured by changing the shell fabric (cotton and microfiber) and interlining (synthetic loose fiber and buckwheat). This was done using BIOS-S8 (BioBrain Inc., Korea), an 8-channel polygraph for multi-body signal measurement, to measure EEG. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 statistical program. EEG values were significantly activated according to gender, particularly when the subjects' eyes were open. For the male cases, 'RT', 'RAHB' values were highly activated and for the female cases, 'RA', 'RB', 'RG', 'RFA', 'RST', 'RLB', 'RMB', 'RST', 'RMT' values were highly activated. Examining the differences in EEG according to type of attachment indicated no significant difference in both sexes. However, in cases of females with their eyes closed, the 'RSA' index was quite different in the left occipital lobe (O1), and when their eyes were open, the 'RFA' in the right frontal lobe (F4) showed a significant difference. However, there was no obvious correlation between the activation of EEG and the subjective preference of textile attachments.

Aircraft pylon connects the engine or external stores to the main wing, and transfers the load acting on the pylon to the main structure of the aircraft. In particular, it should perform the function of separating the external store mounted on the pylon in case of emergency or mission performance. At this time, if the separation of the external store is not performed properly due to peripheral air flow or functional problems during the separation process of the external store, it may seriously impact the survivability of the aircraft. For this reason, to apply an external attachment to an aircraft, it is necessary to prove the stability of the external attachment in the separation situation in advance. In this paper, we present the result of the ground separation test performed to confirm that the external fuel tank, which is an external attachment, can be safely separated from the pylon. As a result of the test, the separation movement of the external fuel tank was measured with a high-speed camera, and the stability of the separation of the external fuel tank from the pylon were confirmed through the ground separation test. Additionally, the test result provides basic data for the stability evaluation of the separation of external attachments in actual aircraft.
