  • X-ray diffraction method detects change of crystal lattice distance under material surface using diffraction angle 2$\theta$. This technique can be applied to the behavior on slip band and micro crack due to material degradation. The relation between half-value breadth and number of cycle has three stages which constitute rapid decrease in initial number of cycles, slight decrease in middle number of cycles and rapid decrease in final number of cycles. The ratio of half-value breadth takes a constant value on B/B$_{0}$-N diagram with loading condition except early part of fatigue life. The ratio of half-value breadth B/B$_{0}$ with respect to number of cycle to failure N$_{f}$ has linear behavior on B/B$_{0}$-log N$_{f}$ diagram. Therefore, in this paper the estimation of fatigue life by average gradient method has much less estimated mean error than the estimation of fatigue life by log B/B$_{0}$-log N/N$_{f}$ relation.elation.ation.

  • An exhaust muffler is one of the simple and effective means to meet the demand for a quiet vehicle, and it deserves a close attention to effectively reduce the engine noise. The transfer function technique is one of the tools that have been used to analyze the noise characteristics of the exhaust muffler. In this paper we obtained a transfer function using the forward-going and backward-going components of sound pressure in the exhaust muffler, which is compatible wiht lattice filter algorithm. This form of transfer function is obtained for the basic elements of a muffler, such as uniform tube, open termin- ation, closed termination, anechoic termination, expansion, contraction, extended-tube resonator, hole, Helmholtz resonator, and concentric hole-cavity resonator. The results are combined to produce the transfer function of various types of mufflers. With this transfer function we calculate the transmission and insertion losses of mufflers, and examined the effects of various design parameters. Comparisons were made between the calculation and experimental results, which showed a good agreement, and we conclude that the transfer function of lattice form can be used to analyze the noise characteristics of the exhaust mufflers.

  • The necessity for more accurate automatic flatness control(AFC) system has increased of customers' requirement for cold rolled steel sheet. Therefore, many cold rolling mills replaced its AFC system with a measuring roll of the contact type form the non-contact type. In this paper. The performance of AFC system of contact type has been investigated under industrial conditions. It has two kinds of actuator: roll bender, spot cooling system. The test results are as follows: The more strip thickness is thick, the smaller the I value, and the more it is thin, the bigger the I value. And a complex distribution of strip tension was controlled, for example, not only a pocket wave but also a simple center wave and edge wave. Because the tension deviation is larger at acceler- ation speed and decelerationspeed than steady speed, AFC system of contact type is better to adopt over 50m/mim. AFC system reduces rapidly large flatness deviation. The maximum I value of strip has been decreased to 13 I, and sticker, defects caused by poor flatness, have been decreased about 60%.

  • Precision Medicine, which utilizes personal health information, genetic information, clinical information, etc., is growing as the next-generation medical industry. In Korea, medical institutions and information communication companies have coll aborated to provide cloud-based Precision Medicine Hospital Information Systems (P-HIS) to about 90 primary medical ins titutions over the past five years, and plan to continue promoting and expanding it to primary and secondary medical insti tutions for the next four years. Precision medicine is directly related to human health and life, making information protecti on and healthcare information protection very important. Therefore, this paper analyzes the preliminary research on inform ation protection models that can be utilized in cloud-based Precision Medicine Hospital Information Systems and ultimately proposes research on ways to improve information protection in P-HIS.

  • In this study, We use microstep control to reduce vibration of step motor. Microstep control of step motor is usually thought of as an extension of conventional step motor control technology. The essence of micro stepping is that we divide the full step of a step motor into a number of substep called microstep and cause the stepmotor to move through a substep per input pulse. In ideal case, by controlling the individual phase currents of a two-phase step motor sinusoidally we can get uniform torque and step angle. But due to the nonlinear characteristics of the step motor, we need to compensate current waveform to improve the over-all smoothness of the conventional micro stepping system. We implement digital Pulse Width Modul- ation (PWM) driver to drive step motor and microphone was used for detecting vibration. Driver enables speed change automatically by increasing or decreasing micro stepping ratio which we call Automatic Switching on the Fly. To compensate the torque harmonics, neural network is applied to the system and we found compensated optimal input current waveform. Finally we can get smooth motion of step motor in a wide range of motor speed.

  • The 4th Industrial Revolution technology has emerged as a solution to build a hyper-connected, super-intelligent network-oriented operational environment, overcoming the obstacles of reducing troops and defense budgets facing the current military. However, the overall risk management, including the increase in complexity of the latest inform ation technology and the verification of the impact with the existing information system, is insufficient, leading to serious threats to system integrity and availability, or negatively affecting interoperability between systems. It can be inhibited. In this paper, we suggest cyber threat response strategies for our military to prepare for cyber threats by examining information security risk management in the United States in order to protect military information assets from cyber threats that may arise due to the advancement of information technology.

The joint plane is described as a channel nets properties of grout are considered. To deal with various prob generator and i oint network generator are used. A loss of head due to friction in laminal flow is adopted to between the grout and joint wall. The grout flow is stopped, setting time. To consider this phenomenon, the idea of maxim From the results of numerical simulation on the single jai etration of grout is confirmed. The basic principles for the ation and the selection of the grout are presented. Correlation ant and grouting pressure is defined by analyzing the effects grout flow. • Bolus intravenous injection of adenosine resulted the temporal decrease of systemic blood pressure and heart rate in the anesthetized rats. Adenosine also resulted the persistent decrease of contractility and heart rate in the isolated spontaneously beating rat right atria. Both of the above inhibition effets of adenosine were increased by the pretreatment of NBI (nitrobenzylthioinosine), whitch is an adenosine transport inhibitor, but decreased by the pretreatment of 8- phenyltheophy1line, which is an adenosine antagonist. In isolated thoracic aorta ring segment of normotensive rats, intact rings were relaxed by adenosine ($42.3{\pm}8.7%$) and ATP ($85.9{\pm}15.8%$) in the concentration of $10^{-4}M$, but rubbed rings were relaxed by adenosine ($35.2{\pm}1.9%$) and ATP ($11.3{\pm}9.0%$) in $10^{-4}M$. After pretreatment of L-NAME (N-Nitro-Larginine methyl ester), which is an NO inhibitor, adenosine-induced relaxation was not affected, but ATP-induced relax ation was significantly inhibited (P<0.01). Meanwhile, adenosine resulted almost same as vasorelaxation in isolated thoracic aorta of SHR comparing to those of normotensive rats. But, vasodilation responses of ATP in intact rings of SHR are significantly inhibited comparing to those of normotensive rats. Adenosine-induced relaxation is attenuated after 8-phenyltheophylline pretreatment, but increased after NBI pretreatment. However, ATP-induced relaxations are not affected by 8-phenyltheophylline or NBI pretreatment. These results suggested that the hypotensive effects of adenosine was due to the decrease of contractile force and heart rate through the A1 receptor and vasodilation are mediated by A2 receptor of the vascular smooth muscle. And, the heart protective and vasodilation effects of adenosine might suggest that it would be useful in the acute treatment of coronary artery disease.
