태권도 수련생들의 운동 상해에 관한 조사연구 -충청남도 태권도장을 중심으로- (A research into Injuries to Taekwondo Trainees during Exercise - Focusing on South Chungcheong Province -)

  • 본 연구는 태권도 도장에서 수련하고 있는 수련생들을 대상으로 연습과 경기 중에 입었던 부상에 대한 실태 조사 및 분석을 통하여 태권도 수련생 및 태권도 지도자들에게 상해예방을 위한 기초자료를 제공함으로써 태권도 수련 시에 빈번하게 발생하는 상해발생률을 확인하여 보다 안전한 수련을 도모함으로써 태권도 수련의 목표를 보다 향상시키는데 그 목적을 두었다. 연구의 대상은 충청남도 지방의 체육관 태권도 선수 413명의 설문 조사를 통하여 결과를 도출하였다. 조사결과 태권도 선수들의 성별, 학년에 관계없이 부상이 반복적으로 발생한 것을 알수 있었다. 따라서 부상을 방지하고자 선수뿐 아니라 지도자의 주의와 적절한 조치가 있어야 하겠다. 또한 부상 예방에 대한 철저한 사전 교육과 신속한 응급처치와 적절한 후속 조치가 이루어 질수 있는 환경이 조성되어야 하겠다. 이는 선수의 건강 뿐만 아니라 경기력 향상에도 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

국가대표 카바디 선수들의 스포츠 손상 역학조사 (Injuries in Elite Korean Kabaddi Athletes: A Epidemiological Study)

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the incidence, location, and characteristics of sports injuries according to the position in Korean national Kabaddi athletes. METHODS: Twenty-four national Kabaddi athletes (12 males and 12 females) who trained at the national training center between January 2019 and December 2019 were enrolled in this study. The event, position, and location of injury were recorded on an IOC daily injury report form. The incidence of sports injury was examined with the 95% confidence interval (CI), and the difference in the incidence of injury by position was presented as the rate ratio (RR). Moreover, the differences in the location of sports injury according to position were examined using χ2 tests. RESULTS: One hundred and nine sports injuries occurred among Kabaddi players, with an incidence of 20.28 cases of injuries per 1,000 exposures (95% CI 16.47 - 24.08), and the incidence of injury was the highest among the competition, followed by training and weights. The most common location of sports injury was the lower extremity, followed by the upper extremity, trunk, head, and neck. In addition, no significant differences in the locations of the sports injuries were noted according to gender (p = .689). Furthermore, knee, ankle, lumbar spine/lower back, shoulder/clavicle were common sites of sports injury among Kabaddi players. CONCLUSION: These results provide a baseline for predicting sports injuries occurring in athletes during games, and would provide useful information for developing performance enhancement as well as injury prevention programs.

  • PURPOSE: This study examined the incidence, location, and characteristics of sports injuries according to the position in Korean female elite handball athletes. METHODS: Thirty handball athletes, who trained at between January 2019 and December 2019 were enrolled. 계층구조분석을 활용한 운동선수 자기관리 검사지의 상대적 중요도 변화 (The change of relative importance in athletes self management test through AHP)

  • 본 연구는 기존 운동선수 자기관리 검사지의 획일화 된 점수 부여 방법에서 발생하는 의문점을 해결하기 위해서 검사 항목에 대한 계층구조 분석을 통해 상대적 중요도를 계산하여 이를 계량화하였다. 이에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 운동선수 자기관리 검사지의 상위요인에 대한 상대적 중요도는 훈련관리, 정신관리, 몸 관리, 대인관리의 순으로 평가되었고, 하위요인에서도 상대적 중요도가 모든 검사항목에서 다르게 부여된다는 것을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 운동선수 자기관리 검사 도구의 상대적 중요도를 고려한 초기연구로써 스포츠현장과 전문가의 요구를 반영한 사용가능성도 제시하고 있다. 이를 통해 스포츠현장에서 선수들의 경기력 향상에 작은 단서가 되길 기대한다.

Biomechanical Analysis at the Start of Bobsleigh Run in Preparation for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics

  • Objective: The bobsleigh shoes used in the start section are one of the most important equipment for improving the competition. Despite the importance of the start section, there are no shoes that are specific for bobsleigh athletes in Korea and Korean athletes have to wear sprint spike shoes and practice the start instead of wearing bobsleigh shoes. The objective of the present study was to provide data for improving the performance of Korean bobsleigh athletes by investigating the differences in their split time, plantar pressure, and forefoot bending angle based on skill levels at the start of a run under the same conditions as training conditions. Method: Six Korean bobsleigh athletes were divided into two groups, superior (n=3) and non-superior (n=3). A digital speedometer measured the split time at the start; the Pedar-X system (Novel, Germany) measured plantar pressure. Plantar pressures and split times were measured as the athletes pushed a bobsleigh and sprinted at full speed from the start line to the 10-m mark on the bobsleigh track. An ultra-high-speed camera was used to measure the forefoot bending angle during the start phase. Results: Significant between-group differences were found in split times (p<.000; superior = 2.38 s, non-superior = 2.52 s). The superior group had a larger rearfoot (p<.05) contact area, maximum rearfoot force (p<.01), and a larger change in angles 3 and 4 (p<.05). Conclusion: At the start of a bobsleigh run, proper use of the rearfoot for achieving effective driving force and increasing frictional resistance through a wider frictional force can shorten start time.

성장기 태권도 선수의 경기 손상 (Match Injuries Related to Adolescent Taekwondo Athletes)

  • 목적: 성장기 태권도 선수들의 경기 손상을 분석하고 그 예 방법을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2005년 5월과 2006년 5월의 광주광역시에서 열린 전국 중 고교 태권도 대회에서 발생한 경기 손상 162예를 분석하였다. 결과: 경기 손상 162예에서 족부와 수부 손상이 많았고 골절 및 개방성 탈구, 개방성 골단판 골절 등의 심한 손상도 35예 있었다. 태권도 선수의 빠른 속도와 파괴력은 족부 무지가 접질릴 때 개방성 탈구를 가져 올 수 있고 가격 족부와 피격 상지에 골절을 가져 올 수 있다. 결론: 부상 선수들의 적절한 치료와 함께 훈련 손상 및 경기 손상이 누적되지 않도록 충분한 휴식이 요구되며, 경기 손상의 예방을 위해 경기장 매트, 발등 보호대 손 장갑의 보완과 팔꿈치 보호대의 착용 등이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

엘리트 여자 핸드볼 선수들의 포지션별 무릎 기능평가와 무릎의 근력 및 근지구력의 상관관계 분석 (Analysis of Correlation Between Knee Function Score and Knee Strength and Muscular Endurance According to the position of Elite Female Handball Athletes)

  • PURPOSE: The study examined the relationship between the knee function score and knee strength and muscular endurance of an elite female handball athletes according to their position in the team. METHODS: Thirty handball athletes participated on the study: 12 front positions, 12 back positions, and five goalkeepers. The knee function score consisted of symptoms, pain, daily activity, sports and recreation, and quality of life. In addition, CSMI (Cybex, USA) was used to measure the strength and muscular endurance of the knee. The muscular strength and muscular endurance were measured at an angular velocity of 60°/s and 180°/s, respectively. RESULTS: The overall items of the knee function score showed a significant difference (p = .017), and goalkeepers had significantly higher scores than the back positions. In addition, significant differences were observed in all five items depending on the position (p ≤ .05). On the other hand, both the flexor and extensor muscles of the knee strength and muscular endurance were not significant. Moreover, there was no correlation between the knee function score and the knee strength and muscle endurance. CONCLUSION: Elite female handball athletes have different knee functions score depending on their position in the team, but the, strength and muscular endurance of the knee were similar for each position. Furthermore, the knee function score showed no correlateion with the strength and muscular endurance of the knee.

3D 가상모델 및 가상착의 시스템을 이용한 남자 운동선수의 상반신 원형설계 (A Development of the Bodice Pattern for Male Sports Athletes Using by 3D Virtual Twin & Virtual Garment Simulation)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the appropriate surplus of clothing for a suitable basic bodice pattern of Male Sports Athletes by using the 3D virtual twin and virtual garment simulation system. The results were as follows; 1. By using 3D virtual twin and garment simulation, new bodice pattern considered male sports athletes was development. The basic numerical formula were as follows ; surplus of chest girth=9, surplus of back length=1, armhole depth=back length/4+13, half back width=chest girth/5+2.5, front chest width=chest girth/5+3. 2. Wearing test by 3D virtual garment simulation system was useful to evaluate wearing outline, surplus of clothes and garment space. Also it estimated more highly than existing pattern in silhouette and ease amount, confirming that new bodice pattern is appropriate for the male sports athletes. New bodice pattern was evaluated to allow proper space length of chest and waist. Virtual models production through 3D body scan data, pattern draft and virtual garment digital program were applied to prototypic design method so as to enhance the fitness of ready-made garments. This study is expected to serve as one of important basic data for ensuing studies that may utilize 3D Virtual Garment Simulation System with 2D patterns, and also for future 3D Pattern Production Program development.

장애인선수들의 스포츠상해에 관한 연구 (Sports Injuries in Athletes with Disabilities)

  • 본 연구는 장애인운동선수들의 스포츠상해유형에 대하여 알아봄으로써 장애인 운동선수들의 상해 예방 및 치료, 관리, 운영방안에 기초적 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 2015년에 전국장애인체육대회에 참가한 선수 171명을 대상으로 스포츠상해관련 설문을 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 상해 부위는 어깨, 손가락, 손목 순으로 상해 빈도가 가장 높았으며, 상해 유형으로는 타박상, 근육통, 염좌 순으로 높게 나타났다. 생해기전으로는 선수들과의 접촉, 기구와의 접촉으로 인한 상해가 가장 많이 발생되었다. 상해발생원인으로는 과도한 승부욕으로 인한 상해 발생가 가장 많았으며, 게임 중에 가장 많이 부상을 당한다고 하였다. 만성적 통증 부위 역시 어깨가 가장 많았으며 다음으로는 대퇴, 손목 순으로 나타났다. 상해 직후 처치는 감독이나 코치, 자가 치료가 순으로 가장 많았으며 치료는 파스나 스프레이를 이용한 치료방법이 가장 많았으며, 치료방법은 물리치료가 가장 많았다. 상해 예방방법으로 준비운동과 정리이 필요하다는 응답이 가장 많았으며 그 다음으로는 체력 훈련이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 이상의 결과를 통해, 장애인 선수들의 상해 예방 및 치료, 관리를 위한 체계적이고, 과학적인 체력관리 및 재활훈련 프로그램 제공을 위한 후속연구가 필요하다.

초등학교 핸드볼, 축구, 배구 운동선수들의 신체안정화운동 중재 후 시각반응속도검사에 의한 힘과 민첩성 평가 비교 (Comparison of Power and Agility Evaluation by the Visual Response Speed Test after the Body Stabilization Exercise Intervention of Handball, ootball and Volleyball Athletes in Elementary School)

  • Purpose : This study compared the differences in power and agility of athletes in each sports using visual response speed test (VRST) scores after conducting 10 weeks of body stability exercise (BSE) on elementary school athletes in handball, football, volleyball and conducted a post-hoc test on the measured values. The subjects of this study were baseball (n=27), taekwondo (n=22), and football (n=23) athletes with at least two years of athletic experience. A total of 72 elementary school athletes were measured by VRST after 10 weeks of BSE under the same conditions. Methods : For VRST measurement of the upper extremity, the right and left hands were alternately touched in the order the blazepod equipment lights were turned on. The number of touches for 15 seconds and response touch were measured. In the case of the measurement of lower extremity the left lower extremity was measured first when the Blaze pod equipment light came on. The average value was obtained by measuring 3 times using a measurement sensor with the position indicated in order to measure the upper arms and legs the same. Results : This study confirmed homogeneity among sports and that VRST improved after implementing BSE for sports. However, no statistically significant difference was identified when comparing VRST improvements between sports, and post-hoc test results showed no significant differences either. Conclusion : After applying the BSE program under the same conditions for 10 weeks to elementary school students who can improve their power and agility the most, the results of the examination using the Blaze pod showed that the power and agility of baseball, taekwondo, and soccer players were similarly improved. From the fact that there was no significant difference among sports, it could be inferred that the BES training program could improve VRST without being limited to some sports.
