We wish to develop micro-total analysis system (TAS) on a chip, and to make a trial approach to solve the important problem that is to detect ions separated by the electric field. We propose an idea, which is as for rotational motions of dipolar ions, which are affected by the ion atmosphere in outer regions. This is a new kind of the ion-sensitive field effect transistor (ISFET). We wish to develop the ISFET chips, and give more effective, fast and sensitive, capillary electrophoresis is designed in near future.

본 연구의 목적은 정기시장을 이용하는 이동 상인과 소비자의 특성을 분석하여, 정기시장의 중심지 기능과 공간 구조를 이해하려는 것이다. 충청북도 영동군 지역을 사례로 해서 8개의 정기시장을 이용하는 상인에 대한 면접 조사와 소비자에 대한 설문 조사를 통해서 자료를 수집하였다. 정기시장의 연구는 경제-입지적 접근 방법이나 사회-문화적 접근 방법으로 행해지지만, 정기시장의 기능을 상인과 소비자의 두 측면에서 모두 고려할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서 고차위 중심지에 위치한 정기시장은 규모가 커진 반면, 저차위 중심지에 위치한 정기시장은 쇠퇴하고 있는 것이 확인되었다. 정기시장을 유지시켜 왔던 사회적 관성과 비교 우위는 농촌의 근대화 과정에서 점차 사라지고 있으며, 이러한 사회경제적 변화가 정기시장을 쇠퇴시키고 있다.

단단한 모래층 하부에 위치한 연약점토층에 설치된 수평 원형 앵커들의 극한 상향 인발력에 대한 실내모형실험 결과들을 제시하였다. 점토층의 한계매립비에 대한 효과를 평가하였다. 순극한상향인발력을 도출할 수 있는 단순화한 방법을 제시하였다.

사질토 지반에서 앵커로 지지된 토류벽의 거동을 연구하기 위하여 텍사스 에이엔엠 대학에 소재한 미국 국립 토질 시험장에 계측기가 장착된 실물 크기의 앵커 토류벽을 시공하였다. 기간 중의 단계별 계측과 시공후의 계측을 실시하여 사질토 지반에서의 앵커 토류벽의 현장 거동을 분석하였다. 시공 단계별 토류벽의 수평 변천, 토류벽의 휨 모멘트, 토류벽의 연직 하중, 배면토의 침하와 앵커 하중을 계측하여 앵커 토류벽의 현장 거동을 분석하여 제시하였다. 사질토 지반에서의 토류벽의 거동 특성을 실측결과와 비교하여 분석하였다.

Various surface grinding experiments using resin bonded diamond abrasive wheels are carried out for tungsten carbide materials in order to minimize the damage on the ground surface and to purse the precise dimension compared to conventional grinding machine. When grinding quality is constant, theoretical grinding effect is changed according to the speed of workpiece. Accordingly, grinding forces, which are Fn, Ft, were analyzed for the machining processes of tungsten-carbide material to obtain optimum grinding conditions. Brief investigation is carried out to decrease the dressing efficiency of resinoid bonded diamond grinding wheel to grind tungsten-carbide. Truing is also carried out to provide a desired shape on a wheel or to correct a dulled profile. High quality in dimensional accuracy and surface are often required as a structural components, therefore 3-points bending test is carried out to check machining damage on the ground surface layer, which in one of sintered brittle material. From this experimental study, some useful machining data and information to determine proper machining condition for grinding of tungsten-carbide materials are obtained.

A computer software which can draw and analyze pneumatic circuits was developed for the purpose of introducing and educating pneumatic circuits to beginners in this field. The program was developed using Turbo Pascal and Turbo Pascal Graphix Toolbox and could be run on IBM PC, XT, AT and other IBM compatible computers with a Hercules Graphics Board. The program was defeloped to show sequential control characteristics and to show two stages(on and off) of the pneumatic actuators. Users may save much time in drawing complex pneumatic circuits and can also use this software to check whether circuits are property designed before constucting real pneumatic circuits.

Data-dependent (adaptive) choice of asymptotically efficient score functions for rank estimators and M-estimators of regression parameters in a linear regression model with left-truncated and right-censored data are developed herein. The locally adaptive smoothing techniques of Muller and Wang (1990) and Uzunogullari and Wang (1992) provide good estimates of the hazard function h and its derivative h' from left-truncated and right-censored data. However, since we need to estimate h'/h for the asymptotically optimal choice of score functions, the naive estimator, which is just a ratio of estimated h' and h, turns out to have a few drawbacks. An altermative method to overcome these shortcomings and also to speed up the algorithms is developed. In particular, we use a subroutine of the PPR (Projection Pursuit Regression) method coded by Friedman and Stuetzle (1981) to find the nonparametric derivative of log(h) for the problem of estimating h'/h.

지반과 구조물을 일체화시키는데 사용하는 앵커는 앵커체와 지반의 마찰력에 의해서 구조물을 지지하는 역할을 하며 앵커의 하중과 변형의 관계를 규명하기 위해서는 앵커의 마찰력 분포의 변화(하중전이)가 중요한 요소가 된다. 하중 재하시 앵커체에 발생하는 하중전이 분포는 앵커의 인발 지지력과 밀접한 관계가 있고 정착장의길이, 지반 조건 등에 따라 분포 양상이 변하기 때문에 하중 정이를 이해하기 위해서는 강선과 그라우트의 하중분포 그리로 앵커 그라우트체와 지반과의 마착력 분포를 알아야 한다. 본 연구는 미국 Texax A&M University의 점성토지반에 계측기가 장착된 10개의 그라운드 앵커를 설치하여 인발시험을 수행하였다. 앵커의 자유장 강선에 작용하는 응력, 그라우트체에 작용하는 응력, 그리고 정착장 강선의 응력을 계측하여 강선과 그라우트의 정착응력 및 그라우트와 지반에서의 마찰력 분포를 구함으로써 강선-그라우트-지반의 복합적인 거동에 따른 각 하중 단계마다의 하중전이를 얻어냈다. 또한 현장시험 결과의 역해석을 통하여 강선과 그라우트 사이의 하중과 변위의 관계와 그라우트와 지반의 하중-변위 관계를 분석하여 그라운드 앵커의 인발 특성을 예측 할 수 있는 수치해석 기법을 모델링하여 제시하였다.

여러층의 지오그리드로 보강된 포화된 점토질지반에 띠기초의 극한 지지력에 대한 실내모형 실험결과를 제시하였다. 최대 극한지지력을 유발하는데 필요한 최적 보강길이와 보강심도, 첫번 째층의 지오그리드 보강심도를 도출하였다. 모형실험결과를 바탕으로 극한 지지력을 도출할 수 있는 준경험 방정식을 제시하였다.

There is no progress in interpreting the correlation between the high school record and the scholastic aptitude test. This study gives the degree of the linearity between the high school record and the scholastic aptitude test by using the method of the individual scholastic evaluation which was proposed by Chung(1999). The limits of the individual scholastic evaluation are pointed out additionally in inferring the promising individuals having the high scores in the scholastic aptitude test so that the individual scholastic evaluation be used as reference materials when the colleges applying the comparative school record in the entrance exams.
