This study suggests architect specialty contractors' strategies by interaction analysis between construction business indicators and business performance indicators. To do this, a database was compiled for construction orders and business performance indicators of specialty contractors with KRW 7 bil. or more of assets of 1997 through 2010. The causal relationship verification and actual proof-oriented analysis were performed for architect specialty contractors. The result is analyzed that their turnover ratio of total liabilities and net worth are affecting obtention of construction orders, ultimately increasing the operating profits. Therefore, this type of specialty contractors is determined to be able to secure corporate stability by establishing a specific operation plan for the total assets.

This study is to suggest specialty contractors with countermeasures to construction orders falling off, one of the construction business indicators for the construction industry, by analyzing the impact of dwindling construction orders to business performance indicators of specialty contractors as well as identifying inter-relationships between those performance indicators. To do this study, a data was analyze for construction business indicators and business performance indicators of specialty contractors providing heavy equipment. For specialty contractors that provide and utilize heavy equipment, the amount of construction orders is imposing a lasting impact to the turnover ratio of current assets. Therefore, it is determined that a business strategy needs to be established in order to secure current assets to respond to decrease in construction orders.

Cultural property is a valuable asset that connects the past with the present, and cultural heritage is now included in the international agenda of disaster risk reduction. Accordingly, the importance of building resilience of cultural assets has been on the rise, and the necessity of spatial information has been emphasized in building resilience. Therefore, in this study, A methodology for studying the resilience contained in cultural assets through linkage with historical map and time series spatial information is proposed and the proposed methodology was applied to cultural assets located in Gongju area. Georeferencing was performed on time-series images of aerial images and topographical map, and the changes in cultural assets and surrounding areas were found. The width of the river has changed due to the installation of the Keum River Estuary Dam and the dammed pool for irrigation. Nevertheless, the main cultural assets and monuments are located in the high-altitude area and thus have been well preserved. In this study, cultural property resilience was extracted using only map data and in future, it is necessary to conduct research to extract cultural property resilience through analysis of historical records such as geography.

In this study, it suggests the High Availability (HA) implementation plan of building a continuous service infrastructure as a strategy ensuring availability, as the importance of availability securing corporate business continuity emerges in the knowledge and information society. However, if the reliability of the criticality assessment of information asset is not ensured, it requires assessment measures for availability that can be managed by mapping with service maintenance assessment items, which are availability criteria based on the asset criticality evaluated through the asset value matrix because it is difficult to maintain security in conjunction with the value of real assets. Therefore, this study suggests the assessment measures for availability of information assets.

The globe-trotting trend has been converted from tourism for the simple purposes of sightseeing and enjoyment to a form of learning and practicing the more specialized contents by directly participation. Traditional cultural resources have sufficient potential as culture and tourism assets that fit this kind of trend. Therefore, building proper tourist resources for their application has become a very urgent and important matter. To make masterpiece tourism packages through combined services of traditional cultural resources, it is necessary for operators to ponder diverse methods that can be used to develop various experience programs and conserve traditional cultural properties by continuously generating profits. The major results of this research are as follows. Firstly, this study proposes plans for unified tourist information and combined services of traditional cultural resources based on ubiquitous IT. Secondly, it is ascertained that the organization of combined operational consultative groups and the improvement of operator' capability are required to execute combined services of traditional cultural resources. Thirdly, we propose business plans to generate profits in both product aspect and network aspect.

A small sized device with computing, communicating, sensing capability is changing our life. It will be deployed in the world and acquire a lot of data from the world. It is used for various applications such as military surveillance, environmental monitoring, structure health monitoring, building management, asset tracking, etc. In this paper we focus on USN middleware for asset tracking. A mobile asset is moving here and there within a specific area. The USN middleware tracks the mobile assets in real-time by using sensor nodes and notify their current positions to a user. To achieve the goal, the USN middleware provides some features related to the positions of mobile assets.. They are storing location data by using 3D indexing method, retrieving them by using spatio-temporal query, making trace of an asset, and retrieving the history data of an asset. In the paper, we developed USN middleware to adapt the requirements of asset tracking. It can help users increase the efficiency of their business related to mobile assets and make a valuable decision.

The Managing and measuring performance have long been a popular topic in business. Traditions of financially-oriented managing and measuring performance have provided managers with relatively objective and scientific results of measuring performance until now. But today the value of organization is influenced more by intangible assets than tangible assets. Nobody thus believes that the performance and the value of organization can be measured by financial indicators only. In this background, numerous researches have been conducted to find alternatives to measuring the value of organization's intangible assets. One of the remarkable achievements would be "Balanced Score Card (BSC), "which covers three sectors of indicators, each from customer relations, internal process innovations, and learning and human resource development, in addition to traditional financial indicators. Unfortunately, even BSC, let alone others, fails to accomodate all performance indicators as a holistic system. Namely, performance measuring techniques including BCS, at present, fail to reflect the dynamic features in their model - i.e., the casual relations and the interactions between the indicators, and there is no way of taking into account the impact of delayed feedback which flows from introduction of new policy and legislative changes, etc. Therefore, this paper attempts to devise a means for adding dynamic features to BSC, by introducing the system dynamics concept, with a focus on the effect of casual relations and feedback structure.

Purpose This study aims to propose a blockchain-based platform that can guarantee enhanced trustworthiness in corporate ESG efforts, demanded by global ESG initiatives such as GRI and TCFD. Blockchain technology, recognized for its transparency and data immutability, can contribute to building trust in ESG disclosures, meeting the data transparency verification needs required by these initiatives. This research also explores the use of NFTs representing unique ESG efforts by companies, helping them in organizing and sharing ESG information with investors and consumers. Design/methodology/approach This study utilizes Hyperledger Fabric, a permissioned blockchain known for its enhanced transparency, scalability, and suitability for business transactions, to develop a blockchain platform for managing and disclosing ESG information assets in a trustworthy manner. Furthermore, it introduces the concept of ESG NFTs as a more reliable method for conveying ESG information to stakeholders, where ESG NFTs undergo verification process by third-party authenticators and evaluation by independent evaluators for credibility of ESG disclosure. Findings The use of NFTs, which has been predominantly intended for market trading in public blockchain, offers a credible means of disseminating corporate ESG status and evaluations in a permissioned blockchain, better fit for business transactions. By representing information assets as NFTs, which are tamper-proof and establish clear ownership, the proposed platform enables effective management of ESG-related information assets.

While Internet promises ubiquitous access, it also creates a fundamental challenge to the traditional ownership toward digital assets traded in e-commerce market. Sharing digital information freely through shared networks leads to many untapped business opportunities, but uncontrolled digital asset transaction undermines many electronic business models. Thus, in this Internet age, proper protection and safe delivery of Intellectual Property (IP) and its representation as digital assets would be a crucial ingredient of building trust in upcoming e-business environment. In this paper, we give a general structural diagram of Intellectual Property Management and Protection (IPMP) and implement an IPMP prototype based on the RSA encryption algorithm and XrML (eXtensible rights Markup Language) WORK tags to show how proper protection and safe delivery of the intellectual property is achieved. This study concludes that IPMP mechanism may contribute significantly to the volume and quality of e-commerce market.

As society proceeds rapidly toward a knowledge-oriented stage, knowledge as an intangible asset has gained increasing importance. Companies increase their competitiveness and generate extra value through continuous investments in the management of intellectual property (IP). Thus, the prime concerns of companies have been protection of their technological innovation output through filing for IP rights, and maximization of their interests through utilization of intangible assets. Despite the importance of technological innovation in the management of a company, few studies have analyzed the key factors in the management of IP and activities for technological innovation. This study aims to derive policy implications for managing IP and effective capacity building for technological innovation. For this purpose, the author has employed empirical tests to identify the major factors influencing the direction of technological innovations in a company.
