부품 생산과 조립으로 구성된 2단계 조립 일정계획의 Flowtime 최소화 연구 (Heuristic Algorithms for Minimizing Flowtime in the 2-Stage Assembly Flowshop Scheduling)

  • This paper considers a 2-stage assembly flowshop scheduling problem where each job is completed by assembling multiple components. The problem has the objective measure of minimizing total completion time. The problem is shown to be NP-complete in the strong sense. Thus, we derive some solution properties and propose three heuristic algorithms. Also, a mixed-integer programming model is developed and used to generate a lower bound for evaluating the performance of proposed heuristics. Numerical experiments demonstrate that the proposed heuristics are superior over those of previous research.

  • In this paper a servo-system is developed to improve straightness of linear motor stages. When a linear motor stage is used for high-precision linear motion systems, high precision straightness accuracy is necessary to meet the required position accuracy. In such cases, machining and assembling cost increases to improve the straightness accuracy. An electro-magnetic actuator which is relatively cost effective than any other conventional servo-systems is suggested to compensate the fixed straightness error. To overcome the compensation error due to the friction, a sliding mode control is applied. The effectiveness of the suggested mechanism and the control performance are illustrated along with some experimental results.

Recognition of hand written hangeul based on the stroke order of the elementary segment

  • This paper describes how to recognize hand written Hangeul character using the stroke order of the elementary segment. The recognition system is constructed of parts : character input part, segment disassembling part, character element extraction part and character recognition part. The character input part reads the character and performs thinning algorithm. In the segment disassembling part, the input character is disassembled into elementary segments using the direction codes and the feature parameters. In the character element extraction part, we extract the character element using the stroke order and the knowledge rule. Finally, we able to recognize the hand written Hangeul characters by assembling the character elements, in the character recognition part.

  • Drilling Jig is the device according to industrial demand for multi manufacturing products on the growing at alarming rate. In the field of design and making for machine tool working, welding, assembling with jig and fixture for mass production is a specific division. In order to prevent the production defects the optimum design of product, fig and fixture putting in the field is very significant manufacturing method. They require analysis of many kinds of important factors, theory and practice of machine tool operating process and its phenomena, jig & fixture structure, machining condition for tool making tool materials, heat treatment of jig & fixture components, know-how and so on. In this study we designed and constructed a drilling jig of mass production and performed tryout under the Auto CAD, database, and window environment. Especially Part1 of this study is reveals with the analysis of part drawing, jig planning, jig design etc.

  • The proportional pressure control valve that was used to relief valve has different dynamic characteristics on each case. Because this valve has different assembling or processing error and environmental condition. However, a customer who used the relief valve wants to have a steadily performance even if the dynamic characteristics of valve was changed. For this reason, the manufacturer try to make the robust controller that has simple structure. This paper concerns about the design of robust controller that didn't affected by plant parameter's changing. The control strategy is a model reference control that conducted by on line identification problem, gradient method and Lyapunov equation. This adaptvie control law's validity that this paper deal with was confirmed by an results of step response test or hysteresis test.

  • This paper presents a fundamental study of a millimeter-sized master-slave robot driven by conduit-guided wires, which is expected to be applied to the delicate surgical operations, the assembling precise and small parts and so on. This system consists of a millimeter-sized slave robot and a master manipulator of which the size is adapted to a human finger. Displacement and torque of the master side can be reduced and transferred to the slave robot by controlling the motor torque against the master torque by feeding back tension signals. The master can feel the tensions by the motor torque. In this paper, the design method and making process of the master-slave system and the dynamical characteristic of displacement and torque control are proposed.

The Optimal Design of Passive Shimming Elements for High Homogeneous Permanent Magnets Utilizing Sensitivity Analysis

  • This paper presents a useful and simple method to design the passive skimming system for homogeneous permanent magnets based on numerical optimization. To simulate the effects of manufacturing and assembling tolerances, the actual geometrical parameter of the magnet with a derivation is suggested. Then, the optimal design model oi a passive shim system is set up to correct the derivative of field homogeneity. The numbers, sizes and locations of the passive shims are optimized by the steepest descent algorithm combined with design sensitivity analysis. Two implementations show that the proposed method can achieve the required homogeneity of the field with the minimum quantity of ferromagnetics.

  • The advantage of the controlled permanent magnet system for magnetic levitation is the considerable improvement in levitation force to weight ratio and the reduced rating of the on-board power supply. A combined support and guidance technique with selfstable guide behaviour reduce the expense of control and power electronics. An important feature of this system is the simplified mechanical construction of track and the vehicle does not embrace the guide way. Therefore surface mounted as well as elevated tracks are possible. The magnet was designed to provide a lift force of 750kg for a 3 ton prototype vehicle with 4 magnets by KERI and built by Dae-Bo Magnetic Co., LTD. The paper also describes the assembling technology for permanent magnets, the experimental setup and test results for lift force, guidance force and flux distribution.

  • This present study provides the structural design and analysis of main wing, horizontal tail and control surface of a small scale WIG (Wing-in-Ground Effect) craft which has been developed as a future high speed maritime transportation system of Korea. Weight saving as well as structural stability could be achieved by using the skin.spar.foam sandwich and carbon/epoxy composite material. Through sequential design modifications and numerical structural analysis using commercial FEM code PATRAN/NASTRAN, the final design structural features to meet the final design goal such as the system target weight, structural safety and stability were obtained. In addition, joint structures such as insert bolts for joining the wing with the fuselage and lugs for joining the control surface to the wing were designed by considering easy assembling as well as more than 20 years service life.

  • As it is difficult to construct a micro-fluidic system composed of micro-mixers, micro-channels and/or micro-chambers in a single process, an assembly process is typically used. The assembling and bonding of micro-parts, however, introduces other problems. In this work, a virtual assembly process was developed that can be used to design various micro-systems before actual fabrication commences. In the process, the information required for the micro-stereolithography process is generated automatically. Consequently, complex micro-fluidic systems can be fabricated in a single process, thereby avoiding the need fur additional assembly or bonding processes. Using the developed process, several examples were fabricated.
