The objective of this study was to design a fashion storytelling method, which is a strategic instrument for constructing a fashion show with artistry and popularity, based on the principle and structure of storytelling. In order to understand the concept and principle of storytelling composed of story and telling and to introduce storytelling into fashion shows, we associated fashion design with the substance of a story, a show with the form of telling, and a fashion show with storytelling. Based on these associations, we analyzed the relationship between fashion show and storytelling and developed basic elements and structure necessary to design a fashion storytelling method. Through this study, we designed a fashion storytelling method with five steps, which are story planning, story development, fashion show structure design, fashion show production, and fashion show execution. These steps were again classified into contents setting step, structure design step, and expression step. The contents setting step included story planning and development for creating stories, and the structure design step means the design of fashion show structure that adds telling to the stories. Lastly, the expression step included fashion show production and execution that forms a storytelling by combining the stories and the telling.

Filming of movie is not working for translating scenario of story or character's moving. Director of Photography accumulates emotion in scenario through image. The accumulation of continuation is the essence of movie. Therefore, cinematographer strives consistently to analysis scenario and to express through visual which operation of the most basis can be filming technology. Eventually, Filming of movie is based on mean of technology to show artistry work. Accordingly, searching the most fundamental of filming's technical factor considerably help to understand movie art. There are variation technology factors to expose character's emotion. And the most simple and influential try by only using the pure function of camera is utilizing shutter without supporting lighting and production design. As a result, this thesis discuss about essential and basic factors of utilizing shutter.

The rapid development of 3D computer graphics makes traditional cell-animations expressed by several digital techniques and makes traditional cell-animations expand their own area through several continuous tries. There are two types in rendering method. The one is Photorealistic rendering to realize accurate images like photos and the other is Non-photorealistic rendering to realize human's flair and artistry. This paper examines applications of cartoon rendering techniques among several Non-photorealistic rendering techniques. This paper analyzes production cases and examines features of cartoon rendering techniques in the latest movies, games and advertisements of image contents. And this paper will be able to help making more sensual, familiar and in-depth products, as understanding applications, merits and demerits of the latest cartoon rendering techniques through these investigations.

Animation has been developed as a part of artistry, and maintained a correlation with other various genres such as art, film and music to bring changes in form and to seek new things. Recently, technological advancement also has supported digitalization of producing process with variety in its method. Basic unit of animation production is a frame. A set of frames which has an image of producer's intention comes to life as animation when constructed, connected and transformed. A producer usually goes through a series of trouble when deciding how to express one's intention in images. Framing in animation is a kind of visual information which reflects producer's visual perception. A producer does not simply characterize matters into geometrical figures or give circumstantial explanation, but does framing work that relies on expression. Artistic psychology based on Gestalt Theory does not concentrate on abstract artistic philosophy with conventional beauty as its center, but pursues ambiguity and coherence of formative arts to support on accepting systematic order. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find theoretical assistance which may be fundamental part in framing of animation. First, ten elements of Rudolf Arnheim centering on Gestalt Theory shall be redefined as concepts. Based on its ground, I will attempt to analyze shape-quality of framing of conventional animation, and make an approach with my personal experimental project. From this research project, I intend to analogize systematic aspect of framing in animation and to make framing of animation possible to assist in actual production of animation.

Based on the survey of the parks in Tai'an by questionnaire survey, on-the-spot investigation and in-depth interview, the paper analyzes the tendencies of visitors in modern landscape lighting design forms and methods from two terms: primary attributes and the preferences of artistic lighting design. To increase the safety of the parks is a pressing need for visitors. Visitors have a pressing need for increasing the safety of the parks' lighting and artistic quality. Most visitors think the parks' lighting has blind spots and the brightness is not enough. Visitors' night activities in the park will be insecure. As to artistry aspects, people prefer strong artistic style of lamps and lanterns to the common, such as ethnic style and animal image; Tourists prefer to use white light and yellow light to illuminate trees, because these colors make people feel more warm and amiable. This research provides basic data for lighting design of parks.

This study examines carving decoration which makes visual beauty and luxury mood upon serving foods to customers in the food service industry. 413 cooks working for hotels and luxury restaurants were investigated for how they need carving decoration. First, general importance upon serving foods to customers and upon carving decoration was examined; and it was considered if such importance shows statistically meaningful difference by cooks' general characteristics(e.g., gender, academic career, age, work experience). Also, this study explores the necessity of carving decoration in their situation. As a result, cooks regard carving decoration as very important, and its necessity was as high as cooking experience. In addition, necessity was high in buffet, Japanese foods and Chinese foods. A cook can provide visual pleasure to customers and heighten the artistry of foods with carving and decorating skills, so opening a relative course of study seems to be required in cooking-related fields and institutes in order to foster manpower with learned carving and decorating skills.

There is much architectural and engineering literature which discusses the virtues of exterior bracing and diagrid systems in regards to sustainability - two systems which generally reduce building materials, enhance structural performance, and decrease overall construction cost. By surveying past, present as well as possible future towers, this paper examines another attribute of these structural systems - the blend of structural functionality and aesthetics. Given the external nature of these structural systems, diagrids and exterior bracings can visually communicate the inherent structural logic of a building while also serving as a medium for artistic effect. Viewed in this light, the visual appeal of these systems can be enhanced to give a tower a more distinct urban identity. This entails the creation of structural elements that are aesthetically pleasing, geometrically coherent and that demonstrate dexterity of application in regards to a building's composition, while also respecting the laws of physics and mechanics. In this fashion, an artistic approach can exhibit structural systems as not just purely rational features that enable the construction of tall buildings, but as important visual components that afford opportunities for creative expression. This paper, therefore, synthesizes the concepts of structural performance and creative artistry to facilitate a better understanding of the aesthetic developments in skyscrapers worldwide.

This study examined the expression characteristics in pop art works of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. The study here aimed at possibility to find a design development in building up the unique art world of creativity based on popularity, artistry, and originality without confinement to the trend only. For the research method, review of literature and analysis about Castelbajac's works reflecting the pop art feature in the collections from 2000S/S to 2012F/W were performed. The results of research are as follows. The external expression form of Castelbajac's works based on pop art was grouped roughly into use of mass culture image, appropriation of pop art expression technique, and parody of art works. First, his work appeared as application of the mass culture image such as symbolic thing in the modern consumer society, object in an ordinary life, character of well-known animation, national flag and famous star. Second, such appropriated pop art techniques showed as pop color in strong primary color and silk screen, photomontage, collage, assemblage, graffiti, and lettering. Third, a variety of images featured earlier in art works were shown in parody. These works are valuable in that they are expressed aesthetically through regeneration of popular culture's various images in view of fashion, they are described in the non-traditional value with frolic resistance and deviation out of existing fashion norm, and they are given the dynamic creativity integrated with art and fashion.

In other words, the characteristic of deconstructism, which breaks down the boundary between order, balance, style and genre within the texture, is brought out. This characteristic is also having an effect on the field of up style in a hair genre to secure the beauty of incompletion as the beauty of the present time, involving the beauty of ugliness in the boundary of beauty. This study aims at presenting new vision by applying deconstuctism to the up style to express as an original and experimental formative art with various expressive methods. In addition, it aims at being perfect for presenting the creativity and artistry through expressive techniques by formative factor of deconstructive up style to find new methods and directions to design concept with main expressive ability of deconstructive up style.

This research is to examine the formative of patterns and characteristics of expression in Danzhai Miao batik of Guizhou China and to reveal the cultural factors and characteristics of artistic expression inherent to it. As the research methodology, theoretical study was done by utilizing the preceding research data, literature data at home and abroad, photo data, and Internet data, and as the empirical research, field trip was made to Guizhou China and investigation and experiment of dyeing techniques, purchase of dyeing craftworks, photography shooting, and interviews were conducted. The results of this research showed that ancient Chinese batik began in Miao in the Jinhan era and the three types of Miao's traditional batik, i.e. Danzhai batik, Huangping batik, Anshun batik. Danzhai Miao batik obtained indigo blue white patterns through traditional production techniques and natural dyeing batik and represented Miao batik of Guizhou. In the expression of Danzhai Miao batik, based on the cultural backgrounds, the formative such as symbolic of patterns, tradition, primitive, reality, abstract, and decorative of dress designs and high dignity of artistry of creative batik patterns be found from the aspect of expressing magnanimous nationality.
