Improvement and Application Effect in Fault Restoration Program based on Distribution Automation System of KEPCO (한전의 배전자동화 기반 배전선로 고장처리 프로그램 개선 및 적용 효과)

  • This paper presents the improvement and application effect in fault restoration program based on distribution automation system(DAS) of KEPCO. When a fault occurs, fault restoration program can detect fault section based on FI information of DAS, and calculate the best restoration solution by comparing the load capacity of outage area and the spare load capacity of connected distribution lines, and propose switch operating procedure for fault section isolation and outage restoration. Fault restoration program was applied to real field and it was verified that this program is applicable to diverse field cases. By using this fault restoration program to the field human error can be reduced and fault procedure can be more reliable, accurate, and fast.

  • Generally, bridge designers must consider variable factors in design of bridge-structures. For this reason, it was difficult to make a design program till now. However, the rapid development of computers turns it into a possible one with considering complex factors and the advance of computer's language make us design programming. When we use the automatic design program including structural analysis(FEM), we can save the time and effort. Additionally, the automatic design program was generated to reduce the man' errors. Therefore, in this paper, the automatic design program of the Prestressed Concrete Slab Bridge was developed. This design program will support bridge designers with time that they can spend on a creative and efficient duty for development of design.

  • Purpose: This study was done to develop a sexual health education program for unmarried mothers that were intended to provide the correct sexual knowledge, to help them establish positive sexual perception and to improve sexual health. The program was applied and its effect was evaluated. Method: One group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental research design was applied to evaluate the effect of a sexual health education program unmarried mothers. The research team developed a 34 hour program of 16 units, where the basic schemes were human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health, and society & culture. We applied the program to 32 unmarried mothers in the Institute for unmarried mothers in Gangwon-do, Korea from April 19, 2004 to June 14, 2004. Result: After the application of an 8 week sexual health education program, the subjects significantly showed a better perception of self-efficiency, self-esteem, sexual knowledge and sexual behavior than before the program. Conclusion: The sexual health education program for unmarried mother in this study was effective on improving sexual perception and promoting sexual health behavior.

A Study on the Application of a Health Promotion Program about No Smoking in Industry (건강증진을 위한 산업장에서의 금연프로그램 적용의 일 연구)

  • This study was conducted to diffusion of the health promotion program about no smoking in industry. No smoking program model composed of assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation was developed through the method of literature review and applied to 27 smokers of the management team and dept. of the 1st production in one industry, from October 27 to November 3D, 1993. For the analysis, descriptive statistics and paired t-test were used. The result of this study are summarized as follows: 1. The object was composed of no smoking and reduced smoking. The achievement rate of object was $48\%$. 2. As a result of the implementation of no smoking program, $11\%$ of no smoking rate was obtained. 3. After application of no smoking program, the health age was a little lower but statistical significations was not found. 4. Health education and support of family were effective in health promotion program. Complementary measures about indivisual activity for no smoking were required in no smoking program. In conclusion, subject's response about no smoking program was high and health education and support of family were effective in health promotion· program. And nurses were expected to do their roles as a planner, intervener, manager and supporter in health promotion services.

Development and Evaluation of a Patient Safety-focused Inservice Education Program for Surgical Nurse (외과계 간호사를 위한 환자안전 관점의 실무교육 프로그램 개발과 효과)

  • Purpose: The aim of this project was to develop a patient safety-focused inservice education program for surgical nurse and to test the effects of this program. Methods: Methodological designs for instruments development, a pretest-posttest and a posttest design were employed. After the education, nurses' satisfaction, confidence, usefulness and application of 137 nurses were evaluated at 15 surgical units of a tertiary teaching hospital in Seoul, Korea. The education contents are 6 skill areas (infusion pump use, suction, chest tube drainage, oxygen administration, nebulizer use, insulin administration) and medication knowledge. Teaching methods were lecture, instructor demonstration, and 1:1 skill test. Descriptive statistics, Wilcoxon test, Spearman's correlation and Stepwise regression were used. Results: Satisfaction scores for skills and medication education were 4.00-4.21 (out of 5), The more performance frequency in 6 skills, the higher score in confidence as well as in usefulness and application, and the higher satisfaction with the program, the higher score in usefulness, application, confidence, and medication knowledge. Medication knowledge improved after the education (Z=-7,757, p<.001). Significant predictors of skill confidence were application of skills in job performance, medication confidence, and career in present unit. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that systematic and continuous inservice education will improve patient safety by promoting nursing quality.

  • The development of information technology and the demands of society on an application in an operating system, as well as increasing the specifications and sophistication of smartphones, require banks to make changes to their mobile banking applications. The transformation of the mobile banking application into a digital banking application conducted by banks has made users re-evaluate based on their preferences. This study presents the behavior of users of digital banking applications in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The hypothesis model is based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with additional factors of the social image, perceived risk and perceived trust adopted from Muñoz-Leiva et al. (2017). The methodology in this study includes data collection through questionnaires distributed online and data analysis using the Structural Equation Model. The results of this study illustrate that the perceived trust and perceived risk have a more dominant part in influencing user attitude and user intention to use digital banking. Meanwhile, social image, perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness are not significant in influencing user attitude and user intention to use digital banking. The implication of this research helps to determine the right communication and strategy so that more users with more benefits can utilize this digital banking application.

The Effectiveness of Group Art Therapy in Reducing the Depression of Third and Fourth Grade Elementary School Children in Residential Care Facilities (집단미술치료가 보육시설아동의 우울성향 감소에 미치는 영향 - 초등학교 3·4학년 아동 중심으로 -)

  • Before the application of the group art therapy program, children from residential care facilities had higher depression than those from ordinary families. After the application of the program, however, children from residential facilities to whom the program was applied showed significantly lower depression than those in residential care to whom the program was not applied. Still, they showed somewhat higher depression than children living in ordinary families. Nevertheless, children from residential facilities to whom the program was applied showed the largest reduction in depression. Consequently, group art therapy is considered effective in reducing the depression of children in residential care facilities.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of mathematics learning program using web or application for the development of adaptive mathematics learning program. For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted for middle school students. The results of the 290 responses were analyzed to identify students' needs for adaptive mathematics learning. As a result, learners wanted functions to design their own learning and to support self-directed learning. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the development of a adaptive mathematics learning program reflecting students' needs.
