CAMVA(Choriollantoic Membrane Vascular Assay)를 이용한 계면활성제의 자극 평가에 관한 연구 (In vitro test using chorioallantoic membrance vascular assay to assess the irritancy potential of surfactants)

  • 생체내 피부 자극은 일련의 복합적인 생리 화학적 변화를 수반한다. 이러한 생체내 현상을 보다 민감하게 반영하고, 동물 시험 경감 측면 및 정확성, 재현성을 보완하기 위하여 자극 물질 검색을 위한 대체 시험법이 필요하게 되었다. CAMVA는 이러한 필요성에 의해 고안된 방법의 하나로써 약 10일된 유정란의 복합적인 혈관이 융합된 장뇨막내에 자극 물질을 투여하고 일정 시간 후, 막 내 혈관의 충혈, 출혈, 응집현상 등의 변화를 통해 자극 정도를 평가하는 in vitro 시험계이다. 본 연구에서는 화장품 영역에서 중요한 위치를 차지하는 계면활성제의 자극 정도를 검색하여 in vitro 시험법인 CAMVA와 in vivo 시험법간의 상관성을 조사하였으며, 그 결과 매우 높은 상관성을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 CAMVA는 안 자극 시험의 대체 시험법 뿐만 아니라 피부자극의 예측에도 적용 가능한 유용한 시험법이라 생각된다.

Retort Pouch 쌀밥의 포장(包裝) 진공도(眞空度)가 제품(製品)의 식미특성(食味特性)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effect of Vacuum Levels on the Palatability Characteristics of Rice Packed in Retort Pouch)

  • Retort pouch포장 쌀밥의 포장내(包裝內) 진공도(眞空度)가 제품(製品)의 식미특성(食味特性)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 조사하기 위하여 밀양 23호 쌀로 전기밥솥에서 취반한 보통밥과 진공도 30 cm Hg (RP-30)와 75 cm Hg(RP-75)로 retort pouch 포장한 쌀밥에 대하여 관능검사를 실시하고 이 결과에 따라 각 처리구에 대한 식미특성 (외관, 향기, 맛, 찰기, 경도, 식미의 종합평가)의 평균평점에 대하여 통계적인 방법으로 유의성 검정을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 처리간의 외관은 F값이 $47.28^{**}$로써 고도의 유의차가 있었고 종합적 식미, 찰기, 맛에 있어서도 고도의 유의차가 있었다. 경도 및 향기도 유의차가 있어서 retort pouch내의 진공도가 쌀밥 제품의 식미특성에 상당한 영향을 미침을 보여 주었다. 2. Duncan의 다중비교검정법(多重比較檢定法)으로 retort pouch 쌀밥의 포장 진공조가 식미특성에 미치는 영향에 대한 유의성 검정 결과 외관, 향기, 맛 및 식미의 종합평가에 있어서 보통밥과 RP-30간에는 유의차가 없었으나 이들과 RP-75의 retort pouch포장 쌀밥과는5% 수준에서 모두 유의차가 있었다. 찰기는 3처리 상호간 모두 유의차가 있었고 retort pouch내의 진공도가 높을수록 찰기가 높았다. RP-30 쌀밥과 RP-75의 쌀밥의 경도에 있어서 유의차가 있었다. 3. Retort pouch 쌀밥의 식미특성 상호간의 단순상관을 조사한 결과 식미의 종합평가와는 맛 ( $r=0.793^{**}$), 향기($r=0.640^{**}$), 외관($r=0.576^{**}$) 및 경도($r=0.562^{**}$)의 순으로 상관성을 나타내었다.

Zircaloy-4 핵연료 피복관의 신파괴인성 시험법 (New Fracture Toughness Test Method of Zircaloy-4 Nuclear Fuel Cladding)

  • To define the causes of cladding degradation which can take place during the operation of nuclear power plants, it is required to develop the new fracture toughness test of spent fuel cladding. The fracture toughness of Zircaloy-4 cladding was estimated using the recently developed KAERI embedded Charpy (KEC) specimen. Axially notched KEC specimens cut directly from unirradiated fuel claddings, were tested in a way similar to the standard toughness test method of a Single Edge Bending (SEB) specimen. The results of KEC fracture toughness test at room temperatures were discussed and compared with those of the previous other studies. In conclusions, even though the KEC fracture toughness test of nuclear fuel claddings was easier and more reliable than those developed earlier, the results from the cladding fracture tests were not the material characteristics but the specific fracture parameters which were deeply related to the specification of claddings. In addition, the phenomenon of a thickness yielding was not observed from the fracture surface. It was closely related to the fact that the plane strain condition of the KEC specimen was changed to the plane stress condition during crack advancing. It was also supported by the fractographic evidence that the formation of ductile dimples at the crack initiation became the similar appearance such as a quasi-cleavage after the sufficient crack advancing.

  • The tensile test is generally used to measure mechanical properties with conventional fracture test. This test is extremely certain method to measure Young's modulus, yield strength, tensile strength and so on. ASTM, by international standard, prescribes two classes of tensile tests in tubular products. One is method that specimens aren't done by any process with Tube-shape. The other is that specimens are made on process for C-shape. In this paper, we would like to present the new-shape specimens for the tensile test. The presented specimen's shape is that put two pieces of C-shape specimens together. Besides a load point and a support point are fixed like Tube-shape specimens. This shape of specimen has a difference that existing specimen is made on one-step process out this specimen is made on two-step process. This shape is considered that stress concentration phenomenon occurs at the reduced section if a specimen is made on one step process.

  • 국가하천을 대상으로 정밀외관조사에 의해 선정된20개 배수통문에 대하여 지표 물리탐사법외에 수리학적인 원리를 이용한 연통시험이나 초음파주사검층과 같은 공내시험법을 적용하여 배면의 공동상태를 보다 정확하게 파악하고자 하였다. 타음조사나 GPR 탐사, 3차원 전기비저항탐사 및 초음파주사검층은 일부 성공적인 결과를 얻을 수 있었으나 현장특성에 따라 적용이 용이하지 않은 경우가 발생하였다. 반면 연통시험의 경우에는 통문하부 공동의 유무 및 연통상태를 성공적으로 감지할 수 있었다. 그러나 연통시험은 공동의 규모나 형태에 대한 정량적인 정보를 제공하는데 근본적인 한계를 가지고 있으므로 보다 정확한 조사를 위해서는 현장특성에 맞는 다양한 조사법이 적용되어 종합적인 해석이 이루어야져야 할 것이다.

Establishment of Injection Protocol of Test Bolus for Precise Scan Timing in Canine Abdominal Multi-Phase Computed Tomography

  • This study aimed to establish an injection protocol to determine the precise CT scan timing in canine abdominal multi-phase CT using the test bolus method. Three dynamic scans with different contrast injection parameters were performed using a crossover design in eight normal beagle dogs. A contrast material was administered at a fixed dose of 200 mg iodine/kg as a test bolus for dynamic scans 1 and 2, and 600 mg iodine/kg as a main bolus for dynamic scan 3. The contrast materials were administered with 1 ml/s in dynamic scan 1, and 3 ml/s in dynamic scan 2 and 3. The mean arrival time to the appearance of aortic enhancement in dynamic scan 3 was similar to that in dynamic scan 2, and different significantly to that in dynamic scan 1. The mean arrival time to the peak aortic and pancreatic parenchymal enhancement in dynamic scan 3 was similar to that in dynamic scan 1, and different significantly to that in dynamic scan 2. In multi-phase CT scan, a test bolus should be injected with the same injection duration of a main bolus, to obtain the precise arrival times to peak of arterial or pancreatic parenchymal enhancement.

비만 남자 청소년의 슬림핏 팬츠 패턴 개발 (Development of Slim-Fit Pants Pattern for Obese Male Adolescents)

  • This study developed the pants pattern, that improved appearance and gesture functions in clothes to resolve inconveniences in case of activities with being adequate in fitness of slim-fit pants for obese adolescents. The slim-fit pants pattern was developed through the fitting test after designing and making the pattern of the experimental clothing A(c/pu; 99/1%) with the primary commercial clothing as basic prototype, through the fitting test and implementation of the experimental clothing, modified and supplemented secondarily, and through the fitting test of the second experimental clothing, modified and supplemented tertiary. In terms of findings, first, as a result of analyzing the commercial slim-fit pants, it is interpreted to have projected an optical illusion, that appears to be slim due to being narrow in width of the front panel when observed from the front of the pants. Second, in the fitting test of the first experimental clothing, the prototype of commercial clothing was understood to have improved butt, crotch, waist and femoral regions. Third, pattern design of the second experimental clothing was allowed to decline abdominal pressure, in case of the sitting position, by making the crotch line in the front panel short and by handling it with a yoke belt, and was processed a difference between waist and hip circumference in the back panel, with a rubber band in the whole waist part. Fourth, in the gesture function test of the third experimental clothing, high evaluation was received in every item excluding the knee region.

코어운동이 마른 비만 여성의 신체조성과 복부 근육두께, 몸통 근지구력, 심리적 요인에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Core Exercise on Body Composition, Abdominal Muscle Thickness, Trunk Muscular Endurance, and Psychological Factors in Normal-weight Obese Women)

  • Background: Normal-weight obese women have a normal weight with relatively low muscle mass resulting from high body fat. We aimed to investigate the effects of core exercise on body composition, abdominal muscle thickness, trunk muscular endurance, and psychological factors in normal-weight obese women. Design: One group pre-, mid-, and post-test design. Methods: A total of 20 normal-weight obese women were recruited voluntarily. Core exercises were performed for 30 minutes, three times a week for 4 weeks. InBody measurements, ultrasound imaging, and clinical tests were used to assess body composition, abdominal muscle thickness, trunk and core muscular endurance, and psychological condition(satisfaction with appearance and self-esteem). The dependent variables were measured three times: before the intervention (pre-test), 2 weeks after the intervention (mid-test), and 4 weeks after intervention (post-test). One-way repeated measures ANOVA and Friedman test were used for statistical analysis. Results: Although there was no change in the body composition (p>0.05), thickness of the transversus abdominis and internal and external oblique muscles, endurance of the trunk flexors and extensors and core muscles, and psychological condition showed significant differences after the intervention (p<0.05). Conclusion: Our findings will help develop exercise programs for normal-weight obese individuals that utilize the beneficial effect of core exercises.

매실 농축액 첨가 고추장 소스의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Gochujang Dressing Containing Various Amounts of Maesil(Prunus mune) Concentrate)

  • This study aimed to determine the sensory acceptability of Gochujang dressing containing added Maesil (Prunus mune) concentrate. Gochujang dressing was blended with different concentrations of Maesil concentrate (0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%). Moisture contents, L, a, b values, pH level, and sugar contents decreased, whereas acidity and viscosity increased with increasing Maesil contents. Salinity did not change significantly. For attribute difference test, as Maesil concentration increased, color intensity, savory flavor, sour flavor, hot taste, and mouthfeel decreased, whereas glossiness decreased. The acceptance test showed that 2% Maesil concentrate was the most preferable for appearance, taste, texture, and overall quality. In conclusion, the results indicate that addition of 2% Maesil concentrate to Gochujang dressing is optimal and provides good properties as well as reasonably high overall acceptability.

두유와 우유의 첨가비율에 따른 Bechamel Sauce의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Bechamel Sauce with Different Ratios of Soy Milk to Milk)

  • This study tested the development of bechamel sauce with different ratios of soy milk to milk(0:4, 1:3, 1:1, 3:1, 4:0) to examine changes in quality characteristics. Proximate composition analysis showed a decrease in salinity with increasing amounts of soy milk, while the moisture content and, density increases. The highest pH values were found for a 1:1 ratio of soy milk to milk (S2) and the lowest pH values were found for a 0:4 ratio of soy milk to milk (CON). The L-value decreased, while a and b values increased with increasing amounts of soy milk. In the stability test, segregation occurred in CON after 5 days, while the highest segregation occurred at a 4:0 ratio of soy milk to milk (S4). The sensory evaluation results showed that the color, thickness, savory flavor, and savory taste increased with increasing amounts of soy milk. In the acceptance test, a 1:3 ratio of soy milk to milk (S1) and a 1:1 ratio of soy milk to milk (S2) had the highest acceptance scores (p<0.001) for appearance, taste, texture, and overall acceptance.
