  • Recursive DNS is configured as primary or secondary DNS on user PC and performs domain name resolution corresponding user's DNS query. At present, the amount of DNS traffic is occupied high rate in the total internet traffic and the internet traffic would be increased by failure of IPv6 DNS queries and responses as IPv6 transition environment. Also, existing Recursive DNS service mechanisms is unstable on malicious user's attack same as DoS/DDoS Attack and isn't provide to user trust DNS service fail-over. In this paper, we propose IPv6 Recursive DNS service mechanisms for based on anycast for improving stability. It is that fail-over Recursive DNS is configured IPv6 Anycast address for primary Recursive DNS's foil-over. this mechanisms increases reliability and resiliency to DoS/DDoS attacks and reduces query latency and helps minimize DNS traffic as inducing IPv6 address.

  • Peer-to-Peer (P2P) overlay networks have drawn much research interest in the past few years because they provide a good substrate for large-scale applications in the Internet. In this paper, we introduce the use of anycast, a new "one-to-one-of-many" communication method in the Internet, to solve the following common problems of P2P overlay networks: load-balancing, topology-awareness, system partitioning, and multi-overlay interconnection. We also give an analysis of the features and limitations of the recently deployed anycast infrastructures in the Internet for supporting P2P overlay networks.

  • DNS(Domain Name System) is a huge distributed database that converts host name to IP address. We are expecting the importance of DNS is more increased because many Internet application services appear according to the continuous increase of Internet users and nearly all the Internet application services use DNS. To prevent the interruption of DNS service, DNS server is configured with primary DNS server and a secondary DNS server which takes the place of primary DNS server in case of the service interruption. But this scheme is difficult for providing DNS service constantly in case of DDoS attack, which brings about much network load or network problems in DNS server group. Therefore, This paper proposed the scheme to locally distribute load of DNS server, and the use of address system to group the distributed DNS servers. Also, it proposed the authentication scheme of the correspondent server in case the server is changed in DNS server group having grouping address. In this paper, it is shown that the prosed scheme guarantees the improved service reliability with maintaining the present service performance through the evaluation. Through this, we can expect the high improved DNS service can be provided in the Internet environment in the future.

  • The deployment of multicast communication services in the Internet is expected to lead a stable packet transfer even in heavy traffic as in On-Line Game environment. The Core Based Tree scheme among many multicast protocols is the most popular and suggested recently. However, CBT exhibit two major deficiencies such as traffic concentration or poor core placement problem. So, measuring the bottleneck link bandwidth along a path is important for understanding the performance of multicast. We propose not only a definition of CBT's core link state that Steady-State(SS), Normal-State(NS) and Bottleneck State(BS) according to the estimation link speed rate, but also the changeover of multicast routing scheme for traffic overload. In addition, we introduce anycast routing tree, a efficient architecture for construct shard multicast trees.

  • As various kinds of embedded systems (or devices) become widely available, research on home network middleware which can access and control embedded home appliances are actively being progressed. However, there is a significant problem in applying the home network technology to embedded systems because of their limited storage space and low computing power. In this paper, we present a lightweight middleware for home network on embedded systems. Also, we propose a mechanism for mobility management which adopts the anycast technology.

  • In order to develop the semi-solid forming technology for magnesium alloy the rheological and thixotropic behavior of Mg alloy slurry with varying shear rates and cooling rates was investigated and simulated with considering the viscosity based on microstructures and processing variables. The viscosity of slurry of Mg alloy (AZ91D) in semi-solid region was exponentially increased with a solid fraction, and was decreased with increasing a shear rate. In order to analyze precisely the rheological behavior, the ANYCAST program modified with the Carreau model and the different heat transfer coefficient between the cast and mold was used to simulate the flow behavior of Mg semi-solid slurry during the injection into a casting mold in a high pressure diecasting machine. The simulated rheological behavior of Mg alloy slurry was matched well with the experimental results.

  • In response to the increasing demand for unrestricted access to diverse services regardless of location, cost-effective and easily deployable Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) solutions have once again captured attention. This paper primarily addresses the implementation challenges of Autonomous Load-balancing Field-based Anycast routing+ (ALFA+) for three-dimensional (3D) WMNs. Subsequently, we evaluate the performance of ALFA+ in an 802.11-based 3D WMN testbed established within a university campus using commercial devices, thus validating the practical viability of ALFA+. While most prior research has relied on performance evaluation through virtual environment simulations, this study distinguishes itself by performance evaluations in a real-world testbed using commercial devices and providing detailed implementation-related information necessary for such evaluations. This approach holds considerable significance in assessing the actual applicability of ALFA+.

  • Since wireless sensor networks are broadly used in various areas, there have been a number of protocols developed to satisfy specific constraints of each application. The most important and common requirements regardless of application types are to provide a long network lifetime and small end-to-end delay. In this paper, we propose Early Preamble MAC (EP-MAC) with improved energy conservation and low latency. It is based on CMAC but adopts a new preamble type called 'early preamble'. In EP-MAC, a transmitting node can find quickly when a next receiving node wakes up, so EP-MAC enables direct data forwarding in the next phase. From numerical analysis, we show that EP-MAC improves energy consumption and latency greatly compared to CMAC. We also implemented EP-MAC with NS-2, and through extensive simulation, we confirmed that EP-MAC outperforms CMAC.
