This is a paper on the validity of Extra Gigong Therapy(EGT) on Hypertension patients. We've treated hypertension patients EGT, used IEMD for analysis, so that come to these conclusions. 1. Average value of treatment group was 4.215, this is higher than one of control group. They had differences up to the standard. 2. Hypertension patients are divided into EGT treated group(treatment group) and non-treated one(control group). 3. Light stomach meridian has differences in treatment group and no differences in control group before and after EGT. That means EGT is effective. So does Spleen meridian. 4. With 12 meridians' electric potential values, we come to conclusion that EGT is likely to do hypertension patients good, especially on the point of view of liver, kidney, stomach and spleen meridian pathways. And bibliographies back up in this conclusion. 5. We classified hypertension patients into 4 factors: that is a spiritual factor, a physical factor, an eating factor and a circulation factor. Among these, a physical factor was seen of high frequency. There is a close connection between a physical factor and liver, kidney, spleen meridian pathways. The consequence was that subjects are suburban residents in the prime of time who had overworked.

The purpose of this paper is to show that there is a sure effect of the Extra Gigong Therapy(EGT) on Osteoarthritis patients. 1. Methods of the Spreading-Qi, Breathe naturally, concentrate the mind on Lower Dan(elixir field), When exhaling, Mindwill accompanies Qi to go to the Conception Vessel(CV) and Governor Vessel(GV), conduct Qi to the palms or fingers and emit Qi, with the emitting site touching or leaving the treated region. Qi helps vitality exalted, balance kept, and the circulation well-flowed. 2. For that, we made a schedule of joining some of Osteoarthritis patients who usually take anti-Osteoarthritis drugs, dividing them into two of groups. One is EGT-taken(group 1) and the other is not EGT-taken(group 2). 3. For insurance of analytic accuracy, we use the IEMD(Inner Energy Meridian Diagnosis). 4. In conclusion, there was significant differences between two of groups. Especially from the point of view of liver, kidney and spleen meridian pathways.

This thesis' "Hwang Jae Nai Kyung(黃帝內經)", it is one among Uihak5kyung(醫學五經), is originally total of 18 volumes, the first half of 9 volumes are Somun(素問) and the latter half of the others are Youngchu(靈樞). Also, it is best of old book and literature integrating process of Chinese's medicine. Somun(素問) is comprehensive and extensive principles from fundamental problem of medical science related etiology, pathology, physiology to such parts of preventive medicine as regimen, recuperation. Moreover, therapeutic part of diagnosis and remedy, practice of acupuncture and moxibustion is recorded to Youngchu(靈樞). In the "Hwang Jae Nai Kyung(黃帝內經)", basic system takes precautions and medical cure for disease by approaching not method analyzing body but fundamentals of oriental medicine observed as organizing relation. For the purpose of mixing up beauty based on Buddhism of books, we shall pursuit notion of beauty treatment to method improving health because period flowing is changed to real well-being culture chasing outside beauty and healthy life. Then, to come close for part of oriental medicine and cosmetology, we shall present method of meridian pathways and understand device for cosmetic improvement by analyzing relation to 12 of pathways, the five viscera and the six entrails & skin.

Objective : The meridian theory in oriental medicine explains that Sp9(Yinlingquan) has been considered very important for gynecological disorders, spleen and stomach disorders, and water metabolic disorders. Functional MRI is the best method of showing the evidences of the effect of the Electro-acupuncture treatment through scientific methods. On this supposition, Electro-acupuncture stimulation on Sp9(Yinlingquan) was carried out on six healthy volunteers, using the gradient echo sequence with the 3.0T whole-body MRI system(ISOL). Methods : Electro-acupuncture stimulation on Sp9(Yinlingquan), the experiment was carried out on six healthy volunteers, using the gradient echo sequence with the 3.0T whole-body MRI system(ISOL). After the needle insertion on right Sp9(Yinlingquan), 2Hz of electric stimulation was given for 30 seconds, repeated five times, with 30 seconds' intervals. The Image analysis including motion correction, talairach transformation, and smoothing was done using SPM99. Results : The electro-acupuncture stimulation on Sp9(Yinlingquan) activates Brodmann Area 13, 19, 22, 39, 40, 47 which may be the central pathways of the electro-acupuncture stimulation on Sp9(Yinlingquan). We also hypothesize that those brain areas may be directly or indirectly related with the mechanism of the effect of electro-acupuncture stimulation on Sp9(Yinlingquan).

The aim of this study was to establish opinions of Kum Won Sa dea ga on jaundice and find out clinical significance. Contents dealing with jaundice were searched manually in works of Kum Won Sa dea ga. Those were translated into Korean and studied. Yoo wan so(劉完素) had opinion that jaundice is induced by dampness with heatness(濕熱) or dryness with heatness(濕熱) and should be treated with diuretics and laxatives. Jang jong jung(張從政) had opinion that jaundice is induced by spleen(脾) mainly and should be treated with diaphoretics, emetics, laxatives. Lee dong won(李東垣) had opinion that jaundice is induced by mistaken diaphoretics, dysfunction of spleen(脾), heatness(熱) and treatments should depend on six meridian pathways(六經). Ju jin hyeong(朱震亨) had opinion that jaundice is induced by dampness with heatness(濕熱) and coldness with dampness(濕熱) and should be treated with diuretics and detoxicant. Kum Won Sa dae ga thought jaundice in induced by dampness with heatness(濕熱) and explained pathology by the five viscera and the six entrails(五臟六腑). And they treated patients with jaundice according to etiologic source.

Objectives : The purpose of this morphological studies was to investigate the relations between Sanyinjiao(Sp6), Yinlingquan(Sp9) and pancreas of rats using peudorabies virus(PRV). Methods : We observed labeled neurons following the injection of PRV, Bartha strain, into the Sanyinjiao(Sp6), Yinlingquan(Sp9) and pancreas of rats. After survival times of 4 days following the injection of PRV, the rats were perfused, and their spinal ganglia, spinal cord and brain stem were frozen sectioned($35{\mu}m$). These sections were strained by PRV immunohistchemical staining methods and observed with light microscope. Results : The results were as follows. 1. In the spinal ganglia, the overlap areas of PRV labeled neurons projecting to Sanyinjiao(Sp6), Yinlingquan(Sp9) and pancreas were observed in T10-13 dorsal root ganglia. 2. In the spinal cord, the overlap areas of PRV labeled neurons projecting to Sanyinjiao(Sp6), Yinlingquan(Sp9) and pancreas were lamina I, IV, V, VII, IX, X, intermediolateral nucleus(IML), intermediomedial nucleus(IMM) in thoracic segments. In lumbar segments, the overlap areas of PRV labeled neuron were lamina I, IV, V, VI, IX, X and IMM. In sacral segments, the overlap areas of PRV labeled neuron were lamina I, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X. 3. In the brain, the overlap areas of PRV labeled neurons projecting to Sanyinjiao(Sp6), Yinlingquan(Sp9) and pancreas were area postrema, nucleus tractus solitarius, caudoventrolateral reticular nu., medullary reticular nu., lateral paragigantocellular nu., C3 adrenalin cells, gigantocellular nu., raphe pallidus nu., raphe obscurus nu., ambiguus nu., raphe magnus nu., pontine reticular formation, A5 cell group, subcoeruleus nu., locus coeruleus, Barringnton's nu., $K{\ddot{o}}lliker$-Fuse nu., dorsal raphe nu., Edinger-Westphal nu., central gray matter, perifornical nu., dorsomedial hypothalamic nu., arcuate nu., lateral hypothalamic nu., paraventricular hypothalamic nu., hindlimb area. Conclusions : In conclusion, these results suggest that the interrelationship of meridian(spleen meridian), acupoints(Sp6 and Sp9) and viscera(pancreas) may be related the central autonomic centers.
