The Description of Near-Critical Region for the Non-Ideal Inter-Particle Interacting Molecules such as n-Alkane(linear) and Alkyl-Amine(dipolar) by using Generalized van der Waals Equation of States (일반화된 반데르발스 상태방정식을 이용한 비이상적 입자 상호작용을 갖는 알칸(선형성) 및 알킬 아민류(쌍극자성)에 대한 임계 영역 특성분석)

  • In GvdW EOS, a recently presented paper, shows that the characteristic status for spherical non-linear particle, of which the mutual behavior is known to be vdWf(van der Waals force) only, could be described well enough in the critical region. However, in current papers, analysis has not been done on GvdW about whether it is accurate or not, even for the particles in the linear form or those with the additional mutual behavior such as static-electricity, so there's some argument about the wide use of that. Therefore, in this paper, for the simulation in the critical region of Normal-alkane group(R=methane, ethane, propane, butane) which are the particles that has a linear charateristic and Normal-amine group($RNH_2$, R=methyl-, ethyl-, propyl-amine) where static-electricity is extremely shown, GvdW parameter values about these particles are defined, and based on this simulation, we compared results to the current EOS presented recently, and analyzed them. Through the simulation, it was shown that in case of Normal-alkane group and Normal-amine group molecules, GvdW presents an accurate critical region characteristic which is far more close to the measurement compared to current EOSs. Especially for butane with big amount in molecules, we found out that only GvdW EOS can reach close enough to the critical point.

Correlation Between Salt Content, Microbial Diversity, and Biogenic Amine Concentration in Commercial Ganjang (시판 한식간장 염도와 간장 미생물 다양성 및 바이오제닉 아민 농도와의 상관관계)

  • Biogenic amines in food, produced through amino acid decarboxylation, can cause allergies, digestive issues, and neurological symptoms. Recently, various studies have been conducted to reduce the levels of biogenic amines in food. This study analyzes the impact of salt concentration in Ganjang on microbial diversity and biogenic amine production. Results show a statistically significant correlation between salt concentration in Ganjang and species richness and species abundance indices. Although the alpha-diversity index did not significantly correlate with biogenic amine levels, higher salt concentration resulted in a statistically significant decrease in histamine and tyramine levels. An analysis of the correlation between microbial distribution and biogenic amines based on the salt concentration in Ganjang revealed that the distribution of Lactobacillus sp. and Bacteroides sp. increased as the salt concentration increased while the levels of biogenic amines decreased. On the other hand, the distribution of Tetragenococcus sp., Chromohalobacter sp., and Halomonas sp. decreased with increasing salt concentration, accompanied by an increase in biogenic amine levels. The results of this study suggest that within the salt concentration ranges in Ganjang, an increase in salt concentration is associated with an increase in the distribution of Lactobacillus sp., Bacteroides sp., Streptococcus gallolyticus, and Pseudomonas sp. This increase in microbial distribution is presumed to be related to a reduction in biogenic amine production or an enhancement in biogenic amine degradation.

  • The effect of vesicular L-$\alpha$-phosphatidylcholine on the rate of formation of all-trans-N-retinylidene-n-butylamine (3) and on the regeneration kinetics of bacteriorhodopsin pigment from retinal and bacterio-opsin have been studied. An estimate of the relative positions of retinal and n-butylamine in the vesicles has been made by fluoresence quenching experiments. Partition coefficient of retinal and microviscosity of the retinal-binding region have also been determined. The results are discussed in terms of the nature of chemical interaction between retinal and amine in a lipid environment.

  • A solvent extraction system of copper-thiocyanate complex into various types of alkylamines such as secondary, tertiary and quaternary ammonium salt for the determination of trace copper by atomic absorption spectrometry is presented. The maximum extraction of copper shows at 0.1 M-thiocyanate and single extraction with 10 ml of 1% amine-MIBK from 50 ml of aqueous solution is enough to be quantitative for micro amounts of copper. The effect of amine diluents and of diverse ions are also examined.

  • Various N,N'-disubstituted ureas 5 were easily prepared from the corresponding primary amide 1 by tratment with N-Bromophthalimide $(NBP)-AgOAc-RNH$_{2}$ 4 in dry N,N-dimrthylformamide (DMF). This reaction envolved the intemediate formation of isocyanate 3 from amide 1 via Hofmann rearrangement by treatment with AgOAc and NBP and nucleophilic addition of amine 4 to this isocyante 3. This method is simple enough to be applied to the synthesis of various N,N'-disubstututed ureas scale conviently.

  • 2-amino-3-methylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoline (IQ), a heterocyclic amine, significantly inhibits nitric oxide (NO) production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated macrophages. The decrease in NO production was found to correlate well with a decrease in iNOS mRNA expression as demonstrated by Northern blot analysis.(omitted)

  • 비타민(vitamin)이라는 말은 비타민을 처음 발견한 Casimir Funk에 의해서 명명되었는데 생명체에 없어서는 안될 긴요한(vital) 물질이면서 아미노기(-$NH{_2}$)를 함유하고 있는 아민(amine)이라는 뜻으로 vital amine을 줄여서 vitamine이라고 하였다. 그 뒤에 끝의 e가 없어져서 오늘날에는 vitamin이라고 쓰고 있다. Funk가 처음 발견한 비타민은 오늘날 비타민 $B{_1}$이라고도 불리는 티아민(thiamin)이었으며 모든 비타민을 일시에 발견한 것은 아니다. 티아민이 처음 발견된 후에 수십년에 걸쳐서 많은 사람들에 의해서 여러 가지의 다른 비타민이 발견되어서 오늘날에는 14가지 종류의 비타민이 알려지고 있다. 이중에서 처음으로 발견되었던 티아민이 아민이었기 때문에 비타민이라는 말이 명명되었는데 그 뒤에 다른 비타민들의 화학구조가 밝혀짐에 따라 모든 비타민이 다 아민은 아니라는 사실을 알게 되었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 아직까지 비타민이라는 용어는 그대로 사용하고 있는 것이다.
