PURPOSES : This study supports the evidence that it is possible to rehabilitate a damaged pavement with a lane closure specifically based on the Gimcheon~Sunsan project. METHODS : The prediction results from the simulation programs were compared with field monitoring, which focused on traffic management planning, congestion (length, time, and passing speed), bypass, and user cost, among others. RESULTS : The research results showed that lane closure application and pavement repair of the aged pavement in Korea were possible, even though the prediction results were minimally different from the field monitoring. The road agency contributes to service life extension of the rehabilitated pavement using this method. CONCLUSIONS : A marginal effect caused by the lane closure was observed on travelling users or vehicles, and the user cost of pavement repair decreased. Therefore, introducing the repair method or rehabilitation in Korea is possible. Information dissemination through various media was properly done to execute the project well. Moreover, the construction area traffic utilized nearby alternative roads. Therefore, improving the repaired pavemen's service life while ensuring that the pavement management agency can provide a road with comfortable user riding quality was possible.

As online communities proliferate, online news sites have received great attention in news media research. Although most of the online news sites provide contents for free, some have adopted the Pay-What-You-Want (PWYW) model by offering a voluntary payment option to the readers. In this study, we investigate the factors which influence subscribers' voluntary payment behavior on an online news site. Drawing upon both the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework and the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), we hypothesize that appreciation has a direct effect on the subscribers' voluntary payment behavior, whereas central factors (positive emotional content, cognitive content) and peripheral factors (news sharing, news article length) of the news articles have indirect impacts on voluntary payment behavior through the enhanced appreciation. Based on an empirical analysis of 172 news articles from the Korean online news site that adopted the PWYW pricing model (i.e., Ohmynews.com), we find that appreciation plays a critical role in voluntary payment behavior and that peripheral factors have significant impacts on appreciation. However, the impacts of central factors on appreciation are not found. By identifying influencing factors of subscribers' voluntary payment behavior on online news sites for the first time, this paper suggests a prospective alternative profit model for online news providers faced with fierce competition.

Purpose: This study was done to examine how medication contamination in a single-dose glass ampule is affected by minute glass flakes generated in different methods of cutting the ampule. Method: Sixty medication-containing glass ampules were randomly assigned to two groups. The number of glass flakes, resulting from two different cutting methods (with cotton and without cotton), were counted under the microscope. Contamination was evaluated by extracted the medication with a syringe and culturing it in E. coli, coliform, and aerobic bacteria culture media. Result: Fewer glass flakes were found in the ampules when the ampule was cut with cotton. The use of cotton, however, did not significantly change the degree of drug contamination. Conclusion: Although minute glass flakes generated in the ampule cutting operation did not significantly contaminate the medication and the use of cotton decreased the number of glass flakes in the ampules, glass flakes injected into the blood and tissues of the patient remain a risk factor. Therefore, pre-filled syringes or syringes with filters would be alternative methods and safeguards against the possible injection of glass flakes generated while cutting the ampule.

세계보건기구는 게임 이용 장애를 중독 행동에 따른 장애로 규정했는데 이에 학계의 상이한 관점 위에서 찬반 논쟁이 일어나고 있다. 본 논문은 게임 과몰입을 바라보는 질병 모델적 관점과 심리사회적 관점, 문화적 관점의 시각차를 확인하고 이를 간학문적 태도로 상호 보완하여 게임 과몰입에 대한 해결방안을 중층적으로 제시하고자 하였다. 그 해결방안으로는 첫째, 다수의 게임 이용자에게 1차 예방, 즉 리터러시 교육을 통한 선용적 관점을 적용하고 둘째, 게임 과몰입 사용자들이 대안활동을 찾을 수 있게 돕는 2차 예방을 실시하며 셋째, 3차 예방으로 게임 과몰입의 폐해가 명확한 대상자들에게는 치료적인 개입을 해야 한다고 주장하였다.

Recently Drone technology is emerging as an alternative new way of distribution systems services. Amazon, Google which are global network chain distribution companies are developing an idea of Drone based delivery service and applied for patent for Drone distribution systems in USA. In this paper, we investigate a way to adopt Drone system to Air Cargo logistics, in particular, drone system based on combination of Light ID and RFID technology in the management procedure in stock warehouse. Also we explain the expected impact of Drone systems to customs declaration process. In this paper, we address the investigated limitations of Drone by the Korean Aviation Act as well as suggest the directions of future research for application of Drone to Air logistics industry with investigated limitations.

기존의 헤드업 디스플레이는 작은 허상 크기로 인하여 운전자가 영상 정보를 쉽게 인식할 수 없는 어려움을 가지고 있기 때문에, 본 연구에서는 수평 방향으로 영상을 넓히는 다중 화면 구조와 컴바이너 렌즈를 사용하여 영상 확대와 다채널 윈도우 구조의 헤드업 디스플레이를 연구하였다. 0.47inch 크기의 LCD를 사용하여 투과와 반사 기능의 허상 영상을 사람의 눈에서 3m 위치에 구현하는 기술을 연구하여 근거리와 원거리의 물체에 대한 운전자의 인지 시간을 짧게 하였다. 허상 영상의 콘텐츠로는 스마트 폰을 이용하여 다양한 내비게이션 정보 등을 디스플레이 할 수 있도록 하여 안전과 정보를 동시에 제공할 수 있도록 하였다.

디지털 기술이 21세기의 인간 커뮤니케이션 패러다임을 변화시키고 있는 시점에서, 대한민국은 2005년 세계 최초로 DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) 서비스를 시작하였다. 이를 통해 기존 방송의 공간적 한계를 극복하여 이동 중에 시청이 가능할 뿐만 아니라, 다양한 디지털 기기와의 융합을 통해 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션이 가능한 뉴미디어의 시대가 펼쳐진 것이다. 하지만 신개념의 획기적인 퍼스널 미디어인 DMB가 아직 진부한 콘텐츠와 결합되어 있다. 이러한 문제는 특히 영화와 비디오 채널에서 더욱 심각한 상황인데, 여기서는 대부분 극장용 장편영화와 TV 드라마의 재전송이 이루어지고 있기 때문이다. 본 논문은 바로 이 미디어와 콘텐츠간의 '부'적합성을 지적하고, 그 대안으로서 디지털 초단편 영상을 디지털시대에 철저히 이동성과 개인성을 강조한 DMB를 위한 새로운 킬러콘텐츠로 제안하고자 한다.

미세조류는 바이오연료 생산을 위한 가장 지속가능하고 장래성이 좋은 생산 원료로 여겨지고 있다. 하지만 최근의 몇몇 전과정평가 연구에 의하면 미세조류 바이오디젤 생산, 특히 배양 단계에 많은 에너지가 소요된다는 단점이 있다. 유기탄소, 질소 및 인과 같은 영양분, 그리고 배양에 필요한 용수 비용이 전체 배양 단계의 80%까지 이를 수 있다. 본 총설에서는 최근 미세조류 배양에 필요한 인공배지의 대체용으로 사용 가능성이 높은 하폐수, 유기비료 연소배가스, 유기성 폐기물 등에 대한 최근의 활용 경향과 사용 전략에 대하여 문한 조사를 통해 요약 및 고찰하였다.

This paper examines the concept of "tradition" for Indigenous Peoples as a construct of reality developed through the lens of Western scholarship and American Indian perspectives. The resulting notions of American Indian tradition constructed by a Western point of view, has been incorporated into the thinking of Western peoples as well as those of American Indians. Possible reasons for this include the lasting effects of colonialism and current mass media and the description of cultural "others" through the Western sciences of Anthropology and Musicology. A definition of what is valid or important in defining "traditional culture" for members of an Indigenous community may utilize significantly different measures than those of Western scholars. In order to illustrate this, the author uses two treatises focusing on the Indigenous American Indian cultures of communities in Eastern North America incorporating Indigenous points of view. One of these two books provides a focus on connections between language and culture and the other on ethnomusicology. From both of these perspectives, traditional identity is seen as continuing in the present day through persistent perceptions of reality, linked to community social performance. These perceptions and their accompanying indexes to tradition are still present despite the disappearance of or frequent changes in the surface forms of both language and manufactured cultural items. The emphasis on "legitimate" or "real" tradition is tied to performance within an ongoing cultural community rather than to Western constructions of what is real found in past descriptions of cultures. An alternative view of "valid" tradition and its relationship to Indigenous identity, needs to incorporate Indigenous perspectives rather than depend on constructions developed using non-Indigenous Western frameworks.

본 연구의 목적은 국가 수준 교육과정에서 정보 활용 능력의 위상을 분석하고, 범 교육과정으로서의 역할 강화방안을 제시하는 것이다. 분석 결과 현행 교육과정에서 정보 활용 능력은 교육적 인간상 중 하나인 창의인이 갖추어야 할 기본 능력인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 학교 지식 측면에서는 새로운 지식을 생산할 수 있는 방법적 지식이며, 교육 방법 측면에서는 학제 간 연계성을 갖는 사고 능력이다. 따라서 미디어 교육과 정보 통신 활용 교육을 포괄하는 정보 활용 교육이 선택 과목이 되기 위해서는 국가 수준의 교육과정에서 중요한 범 교과 학습 주제에 포함되어야 한다. 그리고 정보 활용 능력의 정의가 정보 탐색과 접근, 정보 분석과 해석, 정보 종합과 표현과 같이 구체적인 학습 기술로 명문화되어야 한다.
