Multivariate Analysis of Variance for Fuzzy Data

  • We propose some properties of fuzzy multivariate analysis of variance by fuzzy vector operation with agreement index. We deals fuzzy null hypotheses and fuzzy alternative hypothesis and define the agreement index for the grades of the judgements that the hypothesis is rejection or acceptance. Finally, we provide an example to evaluate the judgements.

  • In this paper a hypotheses test procedure based on the least absolute deviation estimators for the unknown parameters in nonlinear regression models is investigated. The asymptotic distribution of the proposed likelihood ratio test statistic are established voth under the null hypotheses and a sequence of local alternative hypotheses. The asymptotic relative efficiency of the proposed test with classical test based on the least squares estimator is also discussed.

Relational Benefits, Alternative Attractiveness and Customer Loyalty: Implication for Service Distribution Channels

  • Purpose: This study explores the types of relational benefits that generate loyalty to room-sharing services among Chinese customers based on the relationship marketing literature. The study also examines the moderating effect of alternative attractiveness on this relationship. Research design, data and methodology: Based on research hypotheses, questionnaires with items measuring the proposed constructs in three dimensions, including relational benefits, alternative attractiveness, and customer loyalty, were designed to test the hypotheses. Data were collected via an online questionnaire of 220 room-sharing service customers in China. Results: Results verify the effects of relational benefits on customers' loyalty to room-sharing services and the mediating effect of alternative attractiveness. More specifically, confidence, social, and safety benefits positively affect customer loyalty to room-sharing services, and alternative attractiveness moderates only the effect of social benefits. Conclusions: The results suggest that room-sharing service providers should concentrate on providing confidence, social, and safety benefits to maintain long-term relationships with customers. This study also provides practical implication for building relationships between channel members in service distribution channels. The study concludes that without customer relationships marketing for managing collaborative and social communication channels, the entire distribution channel might lose out eventually.

예비교사들의 과학철학적 관점과 대안적 가설에 반응하는 유형과의 관계 (The Relation between Preservice Teachers' Philosophical Views on Science and Types of Responses to Alternative Hypotheses)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 예비교사들의 과학철학적 관점과 공룡의 멸종 관련 대안적 가설에 반응하는 유형과의 관계를 조사하는 것이다. 초등 예비교사 37명과 중등 예비교사 52명을 대상으로 하였으며, 예비교사들의 과학철학적 관점을 검사하는 도구로는 소원주 등이 개발한 PPP 문항을 이용하였다. 공룡 멸종에 관한 대안적 가설로는 공룡의 멸종 원인에 대한 여러 가설중 보편화된 운석 충돌설과 화산 온실설을 제시하였다. 먼저 예비교사들에게 공룡 멸종에 관한 대안적 가설을 읽기 전에 그들이 가지고 있던 생각을 조사하고, 대안적 가설 I(운석 충돌설)과 대안적 가설 II(화산 온실설)를 차례로 제시하여 읽게 한 후, 기존에 가지고 있던 생각에 대한 변화 정도를 조사하여 유형을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 예비교사들의 과학철학적 관점은 초등 중등 대부분 절충적 입장을 나타내고 있었으며 귀 납주의와 절충적 입장의 경계 및 반증주의와 절충적 입장의 경계에 해당하는 좁은 범위에 수렴하고 있었다. 초등 예비교사들의 경우 부분적 이론 변화에, 중등 예비교사틀의 경우 거부 반응 유형에 가장 많은 비율을 차지하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 초등 예비교사들은 절충적 입장인 경우 부분적 이론 변화에, 중등 예비교사들은 절충적 입장인 경우 거부 반응 유형에 높은 빈도를 나타내었다.

전구의 밝기에 대한 초등 예비교사의 가설 검증 활동 (Pre-service Primary Teachers' Justification of their Hypotheses about the Brightness of Electric Bulbs)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of pre-service primary teachers' justifying their hypotheses about the brightness of electric bulbs. They conducted their experiments and wrote their experimental results and ideas on their worksheets. The worksheets for generating and evaluating scientific hypothesis were analyzed. Most of them generated the consumption hypothesis and designed the experiments to confirm their hypotheses or directly measure without the change of experimental conditions. The responses for valid experimental designs were $74\%$ of total responses. The $62\%$ of total responses was valid prediction for experimental results. The $60\%$ of pre-service teachers described the experimental results correctly. But other teachers described the biased results or inappropriate results. The $54\%$ of them refuted hypotheses and the $36\%$ confirmed their hypotheses. The theory-based responses were $51\%$ and the evidence-based responses were $47\%$. The $64\%$ of them proposed the possibility of the alternative hypothesis after testing their hypotheses. This study also discussed the implications of these findings for teaching and Loaming in science education.

The Effects of Dependence and Conflict on Qualitative and Quantitative Organizational Performances in Partnership

  • This study examines the effects of dependence and conflict on organizational performances in partnership, qualitatively (trust) and quantitatively (sales) under four control variables (period of business, number of goods, competition density, and number of employees). Also, this study presents termination cost and alternative attractiveness as the antecedents of dependence, goal incongruity and unfairness as the antecedents of conflict. As the results of analysis with survey data from 360 distributors in manufacturer-distributor partnership, 7 hypotheses are supported and 2 hypotheses are rejected. The results of structural equation modeling (SEM) verify that termination cost increases dependence, that alternative attractiveness reduces dependence, that goal incongruity and unfairness increase conflict, that dependence reduces conflict, that dependence increases trust, and that conflict reduces trust. However, unexpectedly, dependence reduces sales, and conflict has no impact on sales. The results of this study provide insightful implications theoretically and managerially to scholars and practitioners interested in partnership.

공룡의 멸종 원인에 대한 고등학생의 생각과 대안적 가설에 대한 반응 유형 분석 (High School Students' Ideas and Analysis of Responses Types to Alternative Hypotheses about Cause of Dinosaur Extinction)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 공룡 멸종 원인이라는 소재로 학생들의 생각을 조사하고, 이 생각과 일치하지 않는 대안적 가설을 제시하여 반응 유형을 분류하고 인지갈등과 개념 변화 정도를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 경기도 안양시에 소재한 인문계 고등학교 2학년 187명의 학생을 대상으로 설문 조사하여 개념을 알아보고, 이 중 개념에 대한 신뢰 정도가 높게 나타난 98명의 학생들을 대상으로 대안적 가설을 제시한 후, 반응 유형 검사지를 이용하여 응답을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째 공룡 멸종 원인으로 대규모 운석 충돌이 가장 많았으며, 지각 변동에 의한 기후 변화(기온저하), 대규모 화산 분출, 먹이 부족, 질병(바이러스), 서식지 감소 순으로 응답하였다. 또한, 공룡 멸종은 단순히 한 가지 원인에 의한 것이 아니라 여러 가지 원인이 복합적으로 작용하여 멸종하였다고 생각하고 있다. 둘째, 대안적 가설에 대한 학생들의 반응은 거부, 재해석, 판단 불확실, 신뢰 감소, 부분적 이론 변화, 이론 변화 등 6가지의 유형으로 분류할 수 있었다. 셋째, 거부와 재해석 유형을 제외한 나머지 유형은 인지갈등이 유발된 것으로 분류하였으며, 전체적으로 62.3%가 인지갈등이 유발되어 6.1%의 개념 변화를 보였다.

변칙사례에 의한 인지적 반응 유형에 따른 정의적 반응 및 학생들이 제시하는 효과적인 개념변화 교수-학습 전략 (Emotional Responses and Perceived Teaching-Learning Strategies for Effective Conceptual Change by the Types of Cognitive Responses to a Discrepant Event)

  • 이 연구에서는 중학교 1학년 28명을 대상으로 변칙사례에 의한 인지적 반응 유형에 따른 정의적 반응 및 학생들이 제시하는 효과적인 개념변화 교수-학습전략을 조사하기 위한 면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 변칙사례의 신뢰성과 타당성을 강조할 경우 인지갈등이 더 잘 유발되는 것으로 나타났다. 흥미와 불안과 같은 정의적 반응이 나타나는 양상은 인지적 반응 유형 및 대안가설의 제시 유무와 명확성에 따라 달랐으며, 정의적 반응이 개념학습 과정에 긍정적인 영향을 준다고 생각하는 학생들이 많았다. 신념감소, 주변신념변화, 신념변화 반응을 보인 학생들의 경우, 효과적인 개념변화를 위해 필요하다고 생각하는 교수-학습전략이 대안가설의 제시 유무에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 이에 대한 교육적 함의를 논의하였다.

컨택센터 중심에서 인공지능 챗봇 중심 고객 서비스로의 사용자 전환의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on User Switching Intention from Contact Center-oriented to AI Chatbot-Oriented Customer Services)

  • This study analyzes the factors and effects on the users' intention to switch from contact center-oriented to AI chatbot-oriented customer services by combining Push-Pull-Mooring Model and provides insights for companies considering the adoption of AI chatbots. To test the model, we surveyed users with experience using chatbots at least once across different age groups. Finally, we analyzed 176 cases for the analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics and SmartPLS 4.0. The results of hypotheses testing rejected the hypotheses for variables of inconsistent quality and low availability of push factors and low switching cost of mooring factor while accepting the hypotheses for the tardy response of push factors and all pull factors. Therefore, these findings provide important implications for researchers and practitioners who wish to conduct research or adopt AI chatbots. In conclusion, users do not feel inconvenienced by the contact center-oriented service but also perceive high trust and convenience with AI chatbot-oriented service. However, despite low switching costs, users consider chatbots a complementary tool rather than an alternative. So, companies adopting AI chatbots should consider what features the users expect from AI chatbots and facilitate these features when implementing AI chatbots.

기업역량으로서의 조직학습 - 품질경영활동과 기업성과간의 매개적 역할을 중심으로 (A study of organizational learning as a corporate competency : focusing on the mediate effect between quality management and business performance)

  • This study investigates the relationships of total quality management (TQM), organizational learning (OL) activities and business performance and examines the partial mediation effect of OL activities on business performance in Korean industrial manufacturing setting. Main target sample firms were all manufacturing companies listed in the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) and 206 firms participated. This study theoretically develops a conceptual model with 3 hypotheses regarding how TQM practices influence OL activities and how the OL activities partially mediate between the TQM practices and business performance. To examine these hypotheses, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed and an alternative model which includes a path between errors of leadership factor and OL construct was developed. The findings are TQM practices cannot directly influence business performance but indirectly impact business performance through OL activities. This study found that OL activities playa role as firms' critical competency to improve business performance.
