In this paper we define a two parametric new generalized useful average code-word length $L_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U) and its relationship with two parametric new generalized useful information measure $H_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U) has been discussed. The lower and upper bound of $L_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U), in terms of $H_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U) are derived for a discrete noiseless channel. The measures defined in this communication are not only new but some well known measures are the particular cases of our proposed measures that already exist in the literature of useful information theory. The noiseless coding theorems for discrete channel proved in this paper are verified by considering Huffman and Shannon-Fano coding schemes on taking empirical data. Also we study the monotonic behavior of $H_{\alpha}^{\beta}$(P;U) with respect to parameters ${\alpha}$ and ${\beta}$. The important properties of $H_{{\alpha}}^{{\beta}}$(P;U) have also been studied.

This paper presents a way to maximize transmission efficiency and reception ability through transmission diversity technology, which can be adapted to wireless multimedia OFDM system. The presented method is a comparative analysis between a case where parameter $\alpha$for time average is 0.3, 1 with consideration of channel presumption with two types of rms delayed proliferation, which is 50nsec, 150nsec, for the performance analysis of STTC(Space-Time Trellis Code) using time-space ciphering method appropriate for MIMO channel, and performance in the case where presumed channel value from long training column section is applied to according frame in a single frame. The result showed that BER brought SNR improvement of 1.0dB in 10-3 when $\alpha$ was 0.3 than using only the long training column, and showed increase of general performance improvement for the sake of time average rather than the case without.
The calcium-activated $K^+$ ($BK_{Ca}$) channel is one of the potassium-selective ion channels that are present in the nervous and vascular systems. $Ca^{2+}$ is the main regulator of $BK_{Ca}$ channel activation. The $BK_{Ca}$ channel contains two high affinity $Ca^{2+}$ binding sites, namely, regulators of $K^+$ conductance, RCK1 and the $Ca^{2+}$ bowl. Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA, 1-radyl-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-phosphate) is one of the neurolipids. LPA affects diverse cellular functions on many cell types through G protein-coupled LPA receptor subtypes. The activation of LPA receptors induces transient elevation of intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ levels through diverse G proteins such as $G{\alpha}_{q/11}$, $G{\alpha}_i$, $G{\alpha}_{12/13}$, and $G{\alpha}s$ and the related signal transduction pathway. In the present study, we examined LPA effects on $BK_{Ca}$ channel activity expressed in Xenopus oocytes, which are known to endogenously express the LPA receptor. Treatment with LPA induced a large outward current in a reversible and concentration-dependent manner. However, repeated treatment with LPA induced a rapid desensitization, and the LPA receptor antagonist Ki16425 blocked LPA action. LPA-mediated $BK_{Ca}$ channel activation was also attenuated by the PLC inhibitor U-73122, $IP_3$ inhibitor 2-APB, $Ca^{2+}$ chelator BAPTA, or PKC inhibitor calphostin. In addition, mutations in RCK1 and RCK2 also attenuated LPA-mediated $BK_{Ca}$ channel activation. The present study indicates that LPA-mediated activation of the $BK_{Ca}$ channel is achieved through the PLC, $IP_3$, $Ca^{2+}$, and PKC pathway and that LPA-mediated activation of the $BK_{Ca}$ channel could be one of the biological effects of LPA in the nervous and vascular systems.
The transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) cation channel, a member of the TRP vanilloid subfamily, is expressed in a broad range of tissues. Nitric oxide (NO) as a gaseous signal mediator shows a variety of important biological effects. In many instances, NO has been shown to exhibit its activities via a protein S-nitrosylation mechanism in order to regulate its protein functions. With functional assays via site-directed mutagenesis, we demonstrate herein that NO induces the S-nitrosylation of TRPV4 $Ca^{2+}$ channel on the $Cys^{853}$ residue, and the S-nitrosylation of $Cys^{853}$ reduced its channel sensitivity to 4-${\alpha}$ phorbol 12,13-didecanoate and the interaction between TRPV4 and calmodulin. A patch clamp experiment and $Ca^{2+}$ image analysis show that the S-nitrosylation of $Cys^{853}$ modulates the TRPV4 channel as an inhibitor. Thus, our data suggest a novel regulatory mechanism of TRPV4 via NO-mediated S-nitrosylation on its $Cys^{853}$ residue.

We investigate the escape of $Ly{\beta}$ from emission nebulae with a significant population of excited hydrogen atoms in the level n = 2, rendering them optically thick in $H{\alpha}$. The transfer of $Ly{\beta}$ line photons in these optically thick regions is complicated by the presence of another scattering channel leading to re-emission of $H{\alpha}$, alternating their identities between $Ly{\beta}$ and $H{\alpha}$. In this work, we develop a Monte Carlo code to simulate the transfer of $Ly{\beta}$ line photons incorporating the scattering channel into $H{\alpha}$. Both $H{\alpha}$ and $Ly{\beta}$ lines are formed through diffusion in frequency space, where a line photon enters the wing regime after a fairly large number of resonance scatterings with hydrogen atoms. Various line profiles of $H{\alpha}$ and $Ly{\beta}$ emergent from our model nebulae are presented. It is argued that the electron temperature is a critical parameter which controls the flux ratio of emergent $Ly{\beta}$ and $H{\alpha}$. Specifically for $T\;=\;3{\times}10^4\;K$ and $H{\alpha}$ line center optical depth $\tau{\alpha}\;=\;10$, the number flux ratio of emergent $Ly{\beta}$ and $H{\alpha}$ is ~ 49 percent, which is quite significant. We propose that the leaking $Ly{\beta}$ can be an interesting source for the formation of $H{\alpha}$ wings observed in many symbiotic stars and active galactic nuclei. Similar broad $H{\alpha}$ wings are also expected in $Ly{\alpha}$ emitting halos found in the early universe, which can be potentially probed by the James Webb Telescope in the future.

This paper presents the performance analysis of MC-CDMA system in reverse links acquired through the computer simulation. For channel estimation which is essential component of mobile communications, a modified alpha algorithm is proposed to estimate the channel sate for MC-CDMA system. In order to update the channel estimator of each subchannel, the modified algorithm uses the final hard-decision value in the receiver.

The $Sec61{\alpha}$ subunit is the core subunit of the protein conducting channel which is required for protein translocation in eukaryotes and prokaryotes. In this study, we cloned a $Sec61{\alpha}$ subunit from Penicillium ochrochloron ($PoSec61{\alpha}$). Sequence and 3D structural model analysis showed that $PoSec61{\alpha}$ conserved the typical characteristics of eukaryotic and prokaryotic $Sec61{\alpha}$ subunit homologues. The pore ring known as the constriction point of the channel is formed by seven hydrophobic amino acids. Two methionine residues from transmembrane ${\alpha}$-helice 7 (TM7) contribute to the pore ring formation and projected notably to the pore area and narrowed the pore compared with the superposed residues at the corresponding positions in the crystal structures or the 3D models of the $Sec61{\alpha}$ subunit homologues in archaea or other eukaryotes, respectively. Results reported herein indicate that the pore ring residues differ among $Sec61{\alpha}$ subunit homologues and two hydrophobic residues in the TM7 contribute to the pore ring formation.

In this Paper, we proposed optimization of system performance, optimal splitting factor ${\alpha}$ applied to power splitting protocol with relay protocol with decode and forward undergo co-channel interference. We can possible to optimize and maximize the channel capacity of the receive performance and the efficiency of the network through optimal factor of splitting protocol. We verified BER performance and Channel capacity and Outage probability for the proposed scheme over Rayleigh fading through Monte-Carlo simulation.
Vertical mixing in the ocean affects the formation of water masses as well as the vertical distribution of nutrients and dissolved substances. this study is to investigate the effect of stability on the intensity of vertical transfer in the case of shallow and straitfied channel. It is found that the relation of the stability and vertical turbulent diffusion is given by K$\sub$z/ = -${\beta}$-(c+${\beta}$) / ${\alpha}$(E-1/${\alpha}$) where K$\sub$z/ and E denotes the vertical turbulent diffusion coefficient and stability, respectively. The empirical coefficients ${\alpha}$, ${\beta}$ and c depend on the magnitude of vertical components and stability, i.e., through thermocline intensity. The study indicates that the diffusivity of the surface mixed layer is (K$\sub$z/)=300∼1,200$\textrm{cm}^2$/sec, the thermocline layer is (K$\sub$z/)= 50∼200$\textrm{cm}^2$/sec and the cold layer is (K$\sub$z/)=200∼600$\textrm{cm}^2$/sec based on near- minimum least-squares error estimates from the regression analysis. An important result of our study comes out that the model is in accordance with the general trends of the effect of stability on the vertical turbulent diffusion coefficients in the case of shallow and strongly stratified channel.
