Mechanism Studies on the CSI Reaction with Allyl Ethers by Varying p-Substituent

  • We examined the effect of p-substituents in p-substituted cinnamyl methyl ethers and 1-(p-substituted phenyl)allyl methyl ethers with CSI, and confirmed that the CSI reaction of allyl ethers (p-substituted ethers) is a competitive reaction of $S_Ni{\;}and{\;}S_N1$ mechanism according to the stability of the carbocation. And, the only terminal allylic amine was obtained through the migration reaction in thermodynamic reaction condition.

Interaction between Poly(L-lysine) and Poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide-co-acrylic acid) in Aqueous Solution

  • A series of pH/temperature sensitive polymers were synthesized by copolymerizing N-isopro-pyl acrylamide(NIPAAm) and acrylic acid(AAc) . The influence of polyelectrolyte between poly(allyl amine) (PAA) and poly(L-lysine)(PLL) on the lower critical solution temperature(LCST) of pH/temperature sensitive polymer was compared in the range of pH 2∼12. The LCST of PNIPAAm/water in aqueous poly(NIPAAm-co-AAc) solution was determined by cloud point measurements. A polyelectrolyte complex was prepared by mixing poly(NIPAAm-co-AAc) with poly(allyl amine) (PAA) or poly(L-lysine) (PLL) solutions as anionic and cationic polyelectrolytes, respectively. The effect of polyelectrolyte complex formation on the conformation of PLL was studied as a function of temperature by means of circular dichroism(CD). The cloud points of PNIPAAm in the aqueous copolymers solutions were stongly affected by pH, the presence of polyelectrolyte solute, AAc content, and charge density. The polyelectrolyte complex was formed at neutral condition. The influence of more hydrophobic PLL as a polyelectrolyte on the cloud point of PNIPAAm in the aqueous copolymer solution was stronger than that of poly(allyl amine)(PAA). Although polymer-polymer complex was formed between poly(NIPAAm-co-AAc) and PLL, the conformational change of PLL did not occur due to steric hinderance of bulky N-isopropyl groups of PNIPAAm.

Multi Acrylate기를 갖는 Polydimethylsiloxane 변성 Urea 코팅 액의 제조와 그 특성 (Preparation and Properties of Polydimethylsiloxane Modified Urea with Multi Acrylate Group Coating Materials)

  • Hydride terminated polydimethylsiloxane과 allyl amine을 hydrosilylation 반응으로 aminopropylpoly-dimethylsiloxane을 합성하고, 이를 hexamethylenediisocyanate(HDI)의 고리화 반응으로 제조된 cyclic HDI trimer와 반응시켜 urea결합으로 결합된 polydimethylsiloxane 변성 urea을 제조하였다. Polydimethylsiloxane 변성 urea의 말단에 있는 isocyante기와 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate를 반응시켜 말단에 multi acrylate기가 도입된 polydimethylsiloxane 변성 urea/acrylate(PUA)를 제조하였다. 제조한 화합물의 구조를 FTIR, $^1H$ NMR로 확인하였으며, PUA에 아크릴계 단량체, 광 개시제, 용매 등을 여러 가지 조성비로 혼합하여 코팅 액을 제조하였으며 이를 PET 필름에 도포하고 UV을 조사하여 고경도의 유연성을 갖는 코팅 막을 제조하였다. 제조한 코팅 막의 연필 경도는 3H, 접촉각은 $82^{\circ}$, bendability는 $7{\phi}$까지 scratch가 발생하지 않았다.

  • While aromatic polyimides and polyamides have found widespread use as high performance polymers, the present work addressed the need for organosoluble materials through the use of a hyperbranching scheme. The $AB_2$ monomers were prepared. The $AB_2$ monomers were then polymerized via aromatic fluoride-displacement and Yamazaki reactions to afford the corresponding hydroxyl-terminated hyperbranched polyimides (HT-PAEKI) and amine-terminated hyperbranched polyamides, respectively. HT-FAEKI was then functionalized with allyl and propargyl bromides as well as epichlorohydrin to afford allyl-terminated AT-PAEKI, propargyl-terminated PT-PAEKI, and epoxy (glycidyl)-terminated ET-PAEKI, in that order. All hyperbranched poly(ether-ketone-imide)s were soluble in common organic solvents. AT-PAEKI was blended with a bisphenol-A-based bismaleimide (BFA-BMI) in various weight ratios. Thermal, rheological, and mechanical properties of these blend systems were evaluated. Two characteristic hyperbranched polyamides, which the one has para-electron donating groups to the surface amine groups and the other has para-electron withdrawing groups to the surface amine groups, were selected to compare BMI curing behaviors. The electron rich polymer displayed ordinary Michael addition type exothermic reaction, while electron deficient polymer did display unusual curing behaviors. Based on analytical data, the later system provided the strong evidences to support room temperature curing of BMI by reactive intermediates instead of reactive primary amine groups on the macromolecule surface.

Selective Functionalization of Calix[6]arene

  • Calix[6]arenes are selectively dialkylated at the lower rim and further functionalized by the aminomethylation and Claisen Rearrangement reactions. Dialkylation was conducted by the reaction of calix[6]arene and alkyl halides such as benzyl bromide, allyl bromide, ethyl bromoacetate, propyl bromide, and methyl iodide under the carefully controlled reaction conditions. Aminomethylation was carried out with the treatment of disubstituted calix[6]arene and secondary amine in the presence of formaldehyde. Claisen rearrangement reaction of the O-diallylcalix[6]arene produced the p-diallylcalix[6]arene.

A Concise Synthetic Pathway for trans-Metanicotine Analogues

  • A convenient pathway for synthesis of trans-metanicotine analogues was developed. trans-Metanicotine, a subtype(${\alpha}4{\beta}2$)-selective ligand for neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptor, is under clinical phase for Alzheimer's disease. Zn-mediated allylation of allyl bromide and acetaldehyde followed by Heck reaction with 3-bromopyridine gave 5-pyridin-3-yl-pent-4-en-3-ol (2). Tosylation of 5-pyridin-3-yl-pent-4-en-3-ol followed by substitution reaction with methylamine in sealed tube gave methyl-(1-methyl-4-pyridin-3-yl-but-3-enyl)-amine (4) in good yields. Thus, trans-metanicotine analogues modified at the $\alpha$-position of the methylamino group with various functional groups can be obtained in 4 steps.

새우, 게 및 바다가재의 부산물로 만든 소스의 휘발성 향기 성분 (Volatile Flavor Compounds Identified from the Sauces Made with Waste of Shrimp, Crab and Lobster)

  • 식품의 조리과정 중에 부산물로 나오는 갑각류 폐기물을 이용하여 소스를 제조하여 canister system을 이용하여 농축한 후 GC/MSD를 이용해 휘발성 성분을 동정하였다. 그 결과 총 휘발성 성분의 개수는 72종이었으며 그 중 새우를 사용하여 만든 소스의 휘발성 성분이 45개로 가장 많았다. 새우 소스의 휘발성 성분은 10종의 alkane, 4종의 ketone, 3종의 aldehyde 및 7종의 alcohol이었으며 3-methyl-2-butanone, 2-pentanamine, isobutane, 3- methyl-butanal, furan, carbon disulfide, dimethyl sulfide가 주요한 성분이었다. 꽃게 소스에서는 18개의 휘발성 성분이 동정되었고, 4종의 alcohol류, 5종의 alkane류, 3종의 aldehyde류 및 ketone, acid와 amine이 각각 1종 검출되었으며, 2-methoxy ethanol, trimethyloxirane, 3-buten-1-ol이 꽃게 소스에서 주요한 휘발성 성분으로 나타났다. 바다가재 머리부분을 이용한 소스에서 16종의 휘발성 성분이 동정되었으며 alkane류 2종, aldehyde와 alcohol이 각각 1종씩 동정되었고 formic acid, 1-propanethiol, $\beta$-pinene, allyl sulfide가 주요한 향기 성분으로 나타났다. 바다가재 껍질을 이용한 소스에서 휘발성 성분이 18종 검출되었으며, acid류, pentane, 3-methyl 1-butanol 및 2, 4-dimethyl- 3-pentanone이 주요한 휘발성 성분인 것을 알 수 있었다.

Solid Phase Extraction of Celecoxib from Drug Matrix and Biological Fluids by Grafted Poly β-cyclodextrine/allyl Amine Magnetic Nano-particles

  • Using nanotechnology, magnetic nanoparticles of iron oxide were produced via co-precipitation method and followed modification with organic compounds. In the next step, functionalized monomer was provided via coupling ${\beta}$-cyclodextrine and allylamine onto modified magnetic nanoparticles. These nanoparticles were used to establish the adsorption rate of celecoxib. Magnetic nanoparticles are modified by (3-mercaptopropyl)trimethoxysilane. Nano-adsorbent was characterized by analytical and spectroscopic methods, such as Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, thermo-gravimetric analysis, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Laboratory parameters, such as the kinetics of adsorption isotherms, pH, reaction temperature and capacity were optimized. Finally, by using this nano-adsorbent in the optimized condition, extraction of celecoxib from biological samples as urine, drug matrix and blood plasma was carried out by high performance liquid chromatography with sensitivity and high accuracy.

  • 흡착/열탈착/GC/MS를 이용하여 우리나라와 일본의 법정 악취성분을 한 컬럼으로 동시분석이 가능한가를 검토하였다. 트리메틸아민, 아세트알데히드, 메틸메르캅탄, 이메틸황 은 대략적인 농도를 추정할 수 있었으며, 스티렌, 이황화메틸, 이황화이메틸 그리고 프로피온알데히드 n-부틸알데히드 i-부틸알데히드 n-발레르알데히드 i-발레르알데히드, 아세트산에틸, 톨로엔, 자일렌, 메틸이소부틸케톤, 이소부탄올에 대해서는 최소감지농도까지 검출할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 악취성분의 동시 분석 예로서 음식물 쓰레기의 퇴비화 과정에서 발생되는 휘발성 성분을 농축시켜 흡착/열탈착/GC/MSD에 의해 분석하고 각 성분의 농도와 최소 냄새감지 농도로부터 악취원인 성분을 예측하였다. 분석결과 34가지 물질에 대해 확인하였고, 이 중 트리메틸아민, 이소발레르알데히드, 메틸메르캅탄, 메틸알리황, 이메틸황, 아세트알데히드, 에탄올, n-부틸알데히드의 순으로 악위에 기여할 것으로 예상되었다.

  • LB막의 안정성을 향상시키기 위하여 고분자 LB막의 가교화를 시도하였다. AT-cut 수정진동자를 이용하여 LB누적막의 특성을 분석하여 보았다. 합성한 전개 고분자의 폴리 에테르기가 공기/물 계면에 누워 있는 상태로 존재하지만, 표면압을 가하면 하층액에 수화되어 잠기게 된다. 이와 같은 메카니즘은 하층액에 폴리 알릴 아민과 NaCl, $CaCl_{2}$ 등의 염을 녹여서 실험하여, 더욱 명확히 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 LB막의 특성을 AT-cut 수정진동자를 이용하여 온라인으로 분석할 수 있었다.
