  • PSR ink is used to insulation coating material that heat resistance is. The use purpose is used for bridge prevention, circuit protection, stabilization of insulation. Heat-cured resin was used mainly on the materials of PSR inks. But, UV-curing type resin in used. Also, because of recently environmental problem, ink is going to water type. Purpose of this study is to develop PSR ink that can develop in pure water. and experiment did that do from that find suitable oligomer and monomer and does brand ratio differ. Specially Knew that is extent water soluble UV resin develop possible is DPHA 10~50% that A/A1924 is 50~90wt %, monomer. As a result, when ratio of A/A1924 and DPHA low viscosity epoxy resin is 5:1.5:1.5, could get high sensibility pattern repeatability, tack and alkali-resistance.

  • Migration of leachate generated through embankment of construction waste soil (CWS) in low-lying areas was studied through physical and chemical analysis. A leachate solution containing soluble cations from CWS was found to have a pH above 9.0. To determine the distribution coefficients in the alkali solution, column and migration tests were conducted in the laboratory. The physical and chemical properties of CWS satisfied environmental soil criteria; however, the pH was high. The effective diffusion coefficients for CWS ions fell within the range of $0.725-3.3{\times}10^{-6}cm^2/s$. Properties of pore water and the amount of undissolved gas in pore water influenced advection-diffusion behavior. Contaminants migrating from CWS exhibited time-dependent concentration profiles and an advective component of transport. Thus, the transport equations for CWS contaminant concentrations satisfied the differential equations in accordance with Fick's 2nd law. Therefore, the migration of the contaminant plume when the landfilling CWS reaches water table can be predicted based on pH using the effective diffusion coefficient determined in a laboratory test.

  • It has been known that acid-resistant concretes on the liquid glass basis have high porosity (up to 18${\sim}$20%), low strength and insufficient water resistance. Therefore they can not be used as materials for load-bearing structural elements. Significant increasing of silicate matrix strength and density was carried out by incorporation of special liquid organic alkali-soluble silicate additives, which block of superficial pores and reduces concrete shrinkage deformation. It was demonstrated that introduction of tetrafurfuryloxisilane additive sharply increases strength, durability and shock resistance of silicate polymer concrete in aggressive media. This effect is attributable to hardening of contacts between silicate binder gel globes and modification of alkaline component owing to "inoculation" of the furan radical. The optimal concrete composition with the increased strength, chemical resistance in the aggressive environments, density and crack resistance was obtained.

  • On the extraction of humic acid from peat, the optimum conditions were studied and the effects of them on the characteristics of humic acid were also examined by means of infrared spectroscopy. 1. Pretreatment of peat with diluted 6-8% HCl solution for 5 hrs. prior to extraction with alcohol-benzol azeotropic mixture have resulted the better yield of humic acid. The water soluble Na-humates were obtained by the subsequent extraction with one hundred times quantity of caustic soda solutieon for 1hr. at 90 $^{\circ}C$. Thus the pure humic acids have been yielded approximately 40% (by wt.) from the raw peat. 2. In characteristics of humic acid, the chemical structure, mainly the contents of such functional groups as -COOH, -OH (phenol type), $-CH_2CO-$, $-CH_2{\cdot}O{\cdot}CH_2-$ and aromatic rings were varied according to the concentration of alkaline solution, temperature and time when the humic acids were extracted with alkali.

  • Humin is the insoluble fraction of humic materials and play an important roles in the irreversible sorption of hydrophobic organic contaminants onto soil particles. However, there have been limited knowledge about the sorption and chemical properties of humin due to the difficulties in its separation from the inorganic matrix(mainly clays and oxides). In this study, do-ashed humin was isolated from a soil sample after removing free lipid and alkali-soluble humic fractions followed by dissolution of mineral matrix with 2% HF, and characterized by elemental analysis, C-13 NMR spectroscopic method. Sorption behavior of 1-naphthol with humin was also investigated from aqueous solution. C-13 NMR spectra indicate that humin molecules are mainly made up of aliphatic carbon including carbohydrate, methylene chain etc.. Sorption intensity for 1-naphthol was increased as organic carbon content of humin increased and log Koc values for the 1-naphthol sorption were determined to be ${\sim}3.12$

  • Chitin, a poly $\beta$-(1longrightarrow14)-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, is best known as a cell wall component of fungi and as a skeletal materials of invertebrates. Chitosan is derived from chitin by deacetylation in the presence of alkali. Chitosan has been developed as new physiological materials since it possesses antibacterial activity, hypocholesterolemic activity and antihypertensive action. However, the actions of chitosan in vivo still remain ambiguous as the physiological functional properties because most animal intestines, especially the human gastrointestinal tract, do not possess enzyme such as chitosanase which directly degrade the $\beta$-glucosidic linkage in chitosan, and consequently the unbroken polymers may be poorly absorbed into the human intestine. Therefore, recent studies as chitosan have attracted interest for chitosan oligosaccharides, because the oligosaccharides process not only water-soluble property but also versatile functional properties such as antitumor activity, immune-enhancing effects, enhancement of protective effects against infection with some pathogens in mice and antimicrobial activity (Kingsnorth et al., 1983, Mori et al., 1997). • Alkali-soluble random copolymer (ASR) was used as a functional resin in the emulsion polymerization of styrene to prepare structured nanoparticles. The calorimetric technique was applied to study the kinetics of emulsion polymerization of styrene using ASR and conventional ionic emulsifier, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS). ASR could form aggregates like micelles and the solubilization ability of the aggregates was dependent on the neutralization degree of ASR. The rate of polymerization in ASR system was lower than that in SDBS system. This result can be explained by the creation of a hairy ASR layer around the particle surface, which decreases the diffusion rate of free radicals through this region. Although a decrease in particle size was observed, the rate of polymerization decreased with increasing ASR concentration. The higher the concentration of ASR is, the thicker and denser ASR layer may be, and the more difficult it would therefore be for radicals to reach the particle through this layer of ASR. The rate of polymerization decreased with increasing the neutralization degree of ASR. The aggregates with high neutralization of ASR are less efficient in solubilizing the monomer and capturing initiator radicals than that of the lower neutralization degree, which leads to decrease in rate of polymerization.

  • The effect on the hydration of cement was that Cu and Pb reacted with alkali to form soluble hydrates at theinitial stage and then there followed a slow reaction forming insoluble metal hydroxides. These hydroxides were deposited on the surface of cement particles providing a barrier against further hydration. But as a slow reaction continued, the insoluble layers were eventually destroyed and the hydration reaction resumed. Thereafter, another retardation occured by restricting the polymerization of silicates, shown by FT-IR spectroscopy analysis. In the case of Cr, as its reaction with cement caused H2O, the coordinator of Cr complex, to replace or polymerize with OH-, the formation of Cr complex promoted the leakage of OH- and increased the heat of dissolution. So the total heat evolution during hydration was larger than that in the case of Pb or Cu. The retarding effect of heavy metal ions was in the order Pb>Cu>Cr.

  • It is well known that certain classes of dye are reducible to stable colorless leuco compounds, which can be oxidized in air back to the colored species. We now reported that bis(4-dialkylaminophenyl)squaraine dyes are readily reduced in solution by borohydride to give alkali soluble leuco compound, which exists in the 3-hydroxy 2,4-bis(4-dialkylaminophenyl)cyclobuten-one. New alkylamine leuco compounds were synthesized by the reaction of leuco chloro-squaraine with alkylamine derivatives. The leuco compounds are easily isolated and can be air oxidized back to the squaraine dyes. These dyes have many technical application. e.g. in xerography, solar cell, optical recording material, redox indicators, and enzyme assays.

  • Oligomer type anionic surfactants(RmM-Na or RmD-Na} were synthesized from $C_{8}{\sim}C_{16}$ long chain alkylvinylether and maleic anhydride (or maleic diethylether). And also their fluorescent anionic surfactants (RmF- Na) were obtained from alkali neutralization which opens the lactone ring of the condensing materials produced by maleic anhydride alkylvinylether copolymer and 3-aminophenol. The measurement results for the surface active properties of water soluble oligomer type anionic surfactants with fluorescent structure (RmF-Na) exhibited a remarkable surface tension lowing property, foam breaking property, and a ernulsing power.
