At a passenger terminal which is a core facility of a large-scale airport, users are not easy to recognize its space and to approach each facility by composition of large-scale space not recognized at a glance and arrangement of complicated functional space. Such a passenger terminal should be designed by putting a focus on functionality, safety and convenience since diverse passengers use it. At a passenger terminal, a lot of passengers' circulation followed by diverse purpose appear. Therefore, it needs a lot of functional space and space to satisfy passengers' demands. When circulation is planed, it should be designed by a systematic standard. The study was carried out on the basis of international airports, considering features and functions of airport circulation system. In kind of circulation in passenger terminal of an airport, there are user's circulation (passenger's circulation, employee's circulation and service circulation) and baggage circulation. The study examined passenger's circulation which was a major circulation of passenger terminal out of user's circulation. The study examined elements which had an effect on circulation system at a large-scale airport passenger terminal and basic data for an efficient circulation system standard of passenger terminal through case analysis of passenger terminal circulation systems at international airports.

This paper tried to find out what the main factors are to impact on satisfaction level of transit passengers at Incheon airport. Incheon airport has made lots of transit facilities and services to attract transit passengers from neighboring airports to increase transit rate as high as advanced foreign airports such as Heathrow, Schiphol and Hong Kong. A survey was performed on 450 transit passengers resting at airport transit lounge in airside area. According to the result, it was found out to be significant factors affecting satisfaction of transit that convenience of security screening, price of duty-free product, a direction board & signage and terminal orientation among Chinese transit passengers. On the other hands, it seemed that Japanese transit passengers thought diversity of airline routes, convenient transfer flight schedule, total transit time and terminal orientation are major variables affecting their satisfaction. Considering the effect of demographic factors, Chinese passenger's satisfaction was more affected by age, travel purpose, the number of travel per year and flight destinations. However, Japanese transit passenger's satisfaction was only affected by the flight destinations, especially willing to travel to North America and Europe.

For the world's safest air traffic, safety-related areas through the large investment made in a sufficient safe level, but the airport's lack of safety management is concerned about the safety. Airside area is essential area for the flights, and activities of safe management in airside area is very important. Grafting of airside safety management and IT, importance of the safety and efficiency is growing. Advanced airports of world has applied GIS over 10 years ago, and through applying GIS, Airports GIS has been a specialized area. Therefore, this research is for geographic information standards and related laws, providing a guideline of regulations and standards for AIXM (Aeronautical Information Exchange Model), RTCA DO-272A (USER REQUIREMENTS FOR AERODROME MAPPING INFORMATION), FAA Advisory Circular 150/5300 -18A (General Guidance and Specifications for Submission of Aeronautical Survey to NGS: Field Data Collection and Geographic Information System Standards), and by analyzing aviation information and air map(notice "Civil Aviation Safety Authority No. 2009-1"), provide the direction of standardization for air map.

Air Traffic Control Tower is one of the most important units in Airport operation. It provides services related to safe and efficient traffic flows that control aircraft on the ground maneuvering area and terminal airspace. Also It is responsible for managing of ground operators. The major objective of this study is to evaluates relative efficiency of ATC towers in Domestic airports using data envelopment analysis so that it helps the ATC authority to improve the tower efficiency, to decide the level of benchmarking target and to establish the best alternative. The results of this study are the following; First, as a result of analysis for the potential improvement, it has analysed that the common problems of each ATC tower are to increase its number of flight and to reduce its number of runway followed by airside area, the number of air traffic controller and the number of stand. Second, it has shown that the each tower in RKPC(8), RKPT(5), RKPK(l) and RKSS(l) are used as the reference set. Especially, the tower in RKPC analyzed as a relatively efficient unit is the most main target for the towers in RKTU, RKTH, RKPS and RKTY to do bench marking and to set up the strategy for improving relative efficiency of the tower. Third, tower is actually not able to control the input and output data in this study except the number of controller, so that ATC authority is recommended to improve inefficiency of the towers through handling the number of controller.

Low Cost Carrier(LCC)s in Asia Pacific market are expected to record high growth due to the expansion of Open Sky Policy among Korea, Japan, China and South East Asia. As everybody is aware of, LCC is not only saving flight cost but also creates differentiating business model by reducing unnecessary services such as F&B and in-flight duty free sales services. Booming LCCs in Asian market will cause not only Incheon airport but also other local airports in Korea to compete heavily to attract LCCs. For example, Air Asia Group with more than 200 fleet has expanded its alliance network throughout Asia. Therefore this paper has researched a new business model operating a LCC terminal for the hub airport competitiveness. According to analysis result of case study, it was found out, considering increasing airline demand next decade, Incheon airport and other domestic airports in Korea had better change an existing terminal into a LCC Terminal(LCCT) to differentiate airport services and expand its hub network. That is because of economic feasibility, first of all, of securing hub and spoke networking capabilities with airlines and finally of developing commercial facilities customizing LCC passengers' demand.

As the price competition between airlines became increasingly intensified, due to increased participation of low-cost carriers in the air transport industry and the continued deregulation of international air transport, each airline has introduced various management techniques for securing international competitiveness and operational efficiency in order to cope with the uncertainty in air transport industry. The world leading LCCs, such as Ryan air, easyJet and Southwest, have changed their traditional business models by increasing operation to primary airports, diversifying operating routes, making strategic alliances with FSCs or other LCCs, increasing the operations on the mid or long distance routes, expanding ancillary revenues, etc. As Korea's air transport industry is confronting with intense competition, our LCCs are requested to adjust to this new challenging situation. As the world leading LCCs did, Korean LCCs are recommended to adopt new business models such as restructuring of the air transport industry through M&A, operating more flexibly in terms of frequency or route, launching of services to primary airports, making strategic alliances with foreign FSCs, developing of 4th or 6th traffic demands, etc.

Building Information Modeling(BIM) technology continues to develop and is now being applied to infrastructure facilities. As smart technology based on BIM is applied to the construction industry, the construction of the same data in a common environment is considered to be a very important step in various applications. This study was conducted on methods to establish an open BIM-based airport facility information common data environment. Therefore, this study develops the element technology to establish a common data environment for the integrated management of airport facility information, and aims to standardize data in the common data environment among various technologies and applications. In order to achieve the aim, in this study, the required technologies were derived by examining the common data environment and examining the civil engineering facility field and the case of integrated airport facility management. Through this, standards and development for information standard framework, information requirement level, BIM guidebook, and BIM library were developed in connection with national and higher standards. Through these standards, it is expected that the integrated management of various airport facilities will be efficiently carried out through a standard data platform in the future.

The purpose of this study is to investigate factors that affect menu navigation time and consumer trust in food and beverage(F&B) restaurants to analyze the menu's effect on impulse buying behavior. Based on the results of the analysis, this paper derives theoretical and practical implications to improve the growth and development of F&B restaurants located in airports. According to empirical analysis, it was proven menu browsing time has been found to strongly influence passengers' impulsive order behavior. A passenger with a strong "consumption ability" navigates the menu for a longer period, which increases the likelihood of impulsive purchases. Service appeal also has a significant influence on menu navigation time. Third-party certification did not appear to help build passenger confidence, thus yielding contradictory results compared to previous studies. Word of mouth had the strongest influence on trust formation. Finally, when passengers were satisfied with the menu items of F&B restaurants they had previously ordered, they tended to believe that the menu items they had not tried would also be good. In sum, impulsive menu orders have a direct impact on the profitability of F&B restaurants.

Since 2017, South Korea's defense exports have shown the world's highest rate of increase of 177% over the past five years, making it the 8th largest defense exporting country in the world. In particular, the aerospace industry is playing a leading role in the Korean defense industry. Among these K-defense industries, the capabilities of the aerospace industry are closely related to the Sacheon Air Show. Sacheon Air Show is one of the largest aviation events in Korea, and products with expertise in the aerospace field are exhibited and demonstrated. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to seek the revitalization of domestic local airports, especially Sacheon Airport, through the Sacheon Air Show held at Sacheon Airport in Gyeongsangnam-do. The first is the development of various contents, the second is the maximization of expertise using air shows, and the third is internationalization. By actively promoting these measures, Sacheon Air Show will be able to maximize the expertise of K-Defense, recognize it as an international event, and promote the vitalization of Sacheon Airport in Gyeongsangnam-do by securing domestic and foreign participants and visitors.
