공항 특수경비조직의 내부서비스품질과 내부고객만족 및 경영성과의 관계 (Relationship between Internal Service Quality and Internal Customer Satisfaction, Management Outcome in Airport Private Security Agents)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 공항 특수경비조직의 내부서비스품질과 내부고객만족 및 경영성과의 관계를 규명하는 데 있다. 이 연구는 2011년 10월 인천소재 공항에서 재직하고 있는 특수경비원들을 모집단으로 설정한 후 유의표집법을 이용하여 최종분석에 이용된 사례 수는 총 282명이다. 연구에 사용된 설문지는 총 43문항으로 구성되었으며, SPSSWIN 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 다중 회귀분석, 경로분석 등을 실시하였다. 설문지의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$값이 .686이상으로 나타났다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공항 특수경비조직의 내부서비스품질은 내부고객만족에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 유형성, 대응성, 공감성 활동이 잘 이루어질수록 내부지원만족, 유형성, 대응성 활동이 잘 이루어질수록 직무만족은 증가한다. 둘째, 공항 특수경비조직의 내부서비스품질은 경영성과에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 유형성, 신뢰성, 대응성 활동이 잘 이루어질수록 비재무적성과, 유형성, 신뢰성 활동이 잘 이루어질수록 재무적성과는 증가한다. 반면, 공감성 활동이 잘 이루어지지 않을 경우 재무적성과는 감소한다. 셋째, 공항 특수경비조직의 내부고객만족은 경영성과에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 내부지원만족 활동이 잘 이루어질수록 비재무적성과 및 재무적성과는 증가한다. 넷째, 공항 특수경비조직의 내부서비스품질은 내부고객만족 및 경영성과에 직 간접적인 영향을 미친다. 즉, 내부고객만족은 내부서비스품질과 경영성과를 매개하는 중요한 변수이다.

수준관리체계를 통한 핵심 직무역량 향상 방안 - 보안검색요원 판독등급제 중심으로 - (A Plan to Improve Core Job Skills through the Level Management System : Focusing on the X-ray Screening Rating System)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to design a x-ray screening rating system to improve X-ray screening ability, which is a core job competency of security screener at Incheon International Airport, and to verify its effectiveness through empirical analysis to suggest ways to improve the level management system. Methods: In this study, the effectiveness of the research model was analyzed using T-test tests for effect analysis based on the empirical analysis results derived through the competency evaluation model, the screening rating system. Results: The results of this study are as follows. The average score for regular education before the implementation of the x-ray screening rating system was 94.1 points, but after the implementation of the x-ray screening rating system, the average score for regular education was 95.5 points, an average of 1.4 points increased. In addition, the proportion of those with 95 or more points classified as high scorers also increased significantly from 51.1% to 69.3%. Conclusion: The X-ray screening rating system of security inspectors will systematically manage the level of screening ability, which is a key job competency, and play a strong role in improving competency, while preventing security accidents through early identification and intensive training of level-lowers.

여행객들의 문화적 차이 공유를 위한 공항 내 서비스 디자인 제안 (Service Design in Airport for Sharing the Cultural Difference Among Tourists)

  • 국제적으로 경제적 교류뿐 아니라 문화적 교류도 엄청난 성장 속도를 가지고 늘어나고 있다. 하지만 경제적, 사업적 부분에 있어 문화적 차이 해소를 위한 연구는 많이 되어 왔지만, 여행객을 위한 문화적 차이 해소 방안에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 여행객의 문화적 교류의 허브인 동시에 문이 되는 공항을 공간적 범위로 설정하여 문화적 차이 해소를 위한 공항 서비스를 개발하고자 하였다. 문헌 연구를 통하여 문화적 차이를 해결하는데 커뮤니케이션과 공유가 가지는 의미를 이해하고, 공항 애플리케이션, 와이파이 연계 사례 등을 분석하여 본 제안에 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 여행객들 스스로 문화적 차이를 문자를 통하여 공유하고, 이를 공항 내 와이파이 서비스, 기존의 공항 애플리케이션과의 연계를 통하여 자연스러운 사용자 참여를 유도할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 국가 간의 문화 차이를 해소함과 동시에 서로 간의 발전과 국가 이미지 개선에 도움이 될 수 있는 연구가 더욱 활발하게 이루어질 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

Analysing the Impact of Service Quality on Brand Image and Brand Advocacy

  • Purpose: This study aims to enhance airport service quality by examining their impact on brand image, advocacy, and mediating brand trust in the aviation service distribution sector. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: Using existing literature, we propose a structural model exploring the relationships between key components which are service quality, brand trust, brand Image and brand advocacy. An online survey, based on prior literature, was administered to 287 Koreans who have experienced using facilities or services at Incheon International Airport (IIA). Statistical analysis employed confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modelling (SEM). Results: Research findings show significant impacts of airport service quality on brand trust. Increased brand trust positively influences airport brand image and advocacy. Conclusion: The study emphasizes the aviation industry's potential to boost brand trust through improved airport service quality via users' interactions. Service quality is critical factors in building brand trust. The findings emphasize the critical role of service quality in fostering brand trust. It underscores the importance of user's satisfaction with service quality in fostering brand trust which can lead to brand image and brand advocacy. The aviation industry should formulate policies and strategies to enhance brand trust improved service quality, thereby improving brand image and brand advocacy.

시뮬레이션을 이용한 공항 보안검색 시스템 개선으로 이용객 서비스 수준제고 방안 연구 (A study for improving passenger service level at the airport security checks by using simulation)

  • 본 연구에서는 공항 보안검색 프로세스를 분석하여 시뮬레이션 모델링 하며, 실제의 보안검색과 비교하여 시뮬레이션을 검증한다. 검증된 시뮬레이션을 활용해 현재 보안검색에서 소요되는 시간을 확인 하며, 이를 토대로 보안 검색에서의 문제점을 해소하기위한 대안을 제시한다. 대안으로는 이용객의 동선을 고려한 사항과 보안검색 시스템에 관한 대안으로 모두 4가지의 케이스를 실험하여 결과를 도출한다. 도출된 결과로 보안검색 소요시간이 크게 20.8% 감소하는 것으로 확인 할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 개발된 시뮬레이션은 새로운 보안검색 시스템의 도입 등 보안검색에서의 의사결정 지원도구로서 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A Study on the Mediating Effect of Perceived Usefulness in the Acceptance of Airport Service Technology

  • Purpose - In the aviation industry, we will investigate the impact of users' acceptance of technology on their usage behavior and find out the factors that affect their acceptance of technology. We will expand the prior study to find out the impact of the self-service technology of Incheon Airport. Research design, data, and Methodology - The thesis was conducted on people using self-service technology at Incheon International Airport from July to August 2019. Part 307 of the valid questionnaires were used for this final analysis. The collected data were used to perform frequency, factor, reliability, and multiple regression analyses using the SPSS statistical package. Result - Individual aspects of external variables, service aspects, and systems aspects have been shown to affect usability and perceived ease of use. Usability and convenience have been shown to serve as intermediaries for users' technological acceptance. Conclusion - The perceived convenience and usefulness of Incheon International Airport has been shown to affect self-service users, while convenience and usefulness have been shown to serve as intermediaries for technology acceptance purposes. In other words, raising expectations for convenience, rapid processing, benefits and so on will have a positive impact on the intent to accept.

Airside 이동체 안전관리 기술 개발 (Development of Safety Management System for Moving Vehicles in Airside)

  • As the number of passengers and the amount of cargo is getting increased, the traffic of aircraft and moving vehicle at an airport is getting busy. Especially, due to the heavy traffic of moving vehicles in the area of airside, the safety management of them is getting important. The study has been performed for suggesting improved methods in order to reduce safety accidents between aircraft and moving vehicles by introducing a safety management system for moving vehicles in airside of an airport. In order to improve the level of safety with the efficient management of moving vehicles in airside, the analysis of the domestic and international trends of the related technology and regulations has been performed. As a result, the conceptual design of safety management system has been suggested by utilizing the location information technology and four layers (hardware, network, middleware and application) approaches of safety management system.

  • Development of air navigation and avionics technologies led to solve the problems that conventional ATM system had. The International Civil Aviation Organization developed the Aviation System Block Upgrades (ASBU) initiative in order to harmonize global ATM planning and technology upgrades and urged to implement the recommendations for the member States. The ASBUs provide the road map to assist air navigation service providers in the development of their individual strategic plans and investment decisions. In this paper, the operational concepts in 2 performance improvement areas, Airport Operations and Globally Interoperable System and Data in ASBUs, have been summarized. In Airport Operations area the new management technologies and required systems are presented for optimizing the traffic flow in airport area and terminal airspace. Data format standards and required systems presented for information integration and usage of the new system under Globally Interoperable System and Data area.

빅데이터 분석을 활용한 공항 혼잡도 분석 - 김포공항 사례를 중심으로 - (Airport Congestion Analysis with Big Data Analysis - The Case of Gimpo Airport -)

  • This study is designed to help customers use more comfortable airports by predicting congestion and congestion times by identifying the traffic routes of passengers in the airport building by day of the week and time by using Wi-Fi sensor collectors, one of the IoT technologies. Analysis of passenger traffic analysis data showed that the most congested time zones were from noon. to 2p.m. for all facilities, which could be used to improve major facilities. Regression analysis of factors affecting congestion found that self-check-in reduces congestion and check-in counters increases congestion. These findings will provide important implications for operations, including congestion management at airports.

다차원 시각적 분석방법을 이용한 공항 정시운항 분석에 관한 연구 (Airport Punctuality Analysis Using Multi-Dimensional Visual Analysis Method)

  • Punctuality is one of the key performance indicators of the airline industry and an important service differentiator especially for valuable customers. In addition, improvement on time performance can help achieve cost saving, i.e. the cost of airline report, which could range from 0.6% to 2.9% of their operating revenues. Therefore efficient management of punctuality is crucial for the industry. This study overcomes the limitations of existing analyses on punctuality and develops a multi-dimensional model for airport punctuality analysis. In addition to analysis of airport punctuality, visual analysis is also proposed in the study. Data was collected from actual flight data of Incheon International Airport. Using the new visual analysis method, the study discovered the pattern of the punctuality that has never studied before.
