Several problems caused by inevitable increment of airplane have been issued. The most effective solution to solve the issues is considered as establishing appropriate Air Traffic Management (ATM) that reduces aircraft's delay at an airport and intensify the airport's capacity. The purpose of this paper is to produce the optimum aircraft schedules that maximize the aircraft throughput by smooth air traffic flow near terminal area of an airport In this paper, mathematical formulations of the scheduling problem are firstly specified. Based on the mathematical modelling, an Optimization-Based Flight Scheduler that provides the optimum flight schedules for arriving aircraft is developed by introducing the Mixed Integer Linear Programming(MILP) and the Genetic Algorithms(GA). With this scheduler, we calculated the optimum schedules to compare to real schedule data from an Incheon Airport. As a result, it is validated that aircraft throughput produced by the optimum schedule is much better than that of the schedule from the Incheon airport. The optimization-based flight scheduler is expected to deal with problems due to the aircraft saturation in near future.

고흥 항공센터에 2019년(예정) 신규 활주로가 설치되고, 비행시험 관련 시설, 장비들을 단계적으로 구축하여 국가 비행종합성능시험장으로 운영할 예정이다. 국가 비행종합시험장은 공항이 아닌 비행장으로 운영할 예정이다. 비행장에는 특별히 정하는 운영규정이 없는 실정이다. 그러나 특수한 목적으로 신설되는 국가 비행종합성능시험장을 보다 안전하고 효율적으로 운영할 수 있도록 관련법규와 국내 공항 및 비행장 운영관리 현황 조사, 해외의 비행장 운영관련 법규와 운영실태 조사, 해외 항공 전문가 자문 및 출장을 통하여 향후 국내 관련법규 제정 및 비행종합시험장 운영 시 활용할 수 있도록 지침을 제시하였다.

Coastal wave and tide information is very important in various occasions for port and harbor engineers, in the stages such as port and harbor planning, maritime structure design, maritime construction management, and coastal disaster study This paper introduces recent improvement of Japanese coastal wave-tide observation and information system named as NOWPHAS (Nationwide Ocean Wave information network for Ports and HArbourS). This study analyzes the economic effect of introducing the arrival duty - free shop at Incheon International Airport. Based on the estimated sales of KRW 127 billion for the duty-free shop at the port of entry, the international balance of payments was estimated at KRW 55.5 billion. Job creation was estimated at 530, including direct and indirect workforce. With the admission of arrival duty-free shops, duty-free shops in the airline are likely to see a decline in sales, helping to improve monopoly structure on the market structure side. It is expected that the rental income generated through the operation of the arrival duty-free shop will be used as a resource for social contribution activities, creating additional social economic effects.

Aviation industry is growing rapidly, and this growth is expected to continue. However, aircraft accident rate is still high, and 65 percent of accidents occur during landing phase due to unstable approach. Therefore, this research analyzed causes and countermeasures of unstable approach. In order to derive countermeasures, this study selected P International Airport as an example case. In addition, this research analyzed A airline's FOQA data, regional Standard Operating Procedures, and 5 years of environmental factors to identified correlation of those contributing factors. In conclusion, his research concluded following results. First of all, because of P International Airport's geological features, pilots are required to conduct Circling Approach, and this advanced maneuver increases workload at the final stage of flight. Secondarily, meteorological factors such as crosswind, seasonal rain front, local visibility contributes unstable approach. Lastly, these geological and meteorological factors are interrelated, and this uncommon environment can decrease circumstantial judgement ability of pilots and jeopardize aviation safety. As a consequence, it is recommended to reinforce the Crew Resource Management and Threat & Error Management systems so that pilots can perceive identical safety target.

The purpose of this study was designed to analyze the food preference and behavior on food away from home between Korean, Japanese and Chinese. The sample was selected each 200 people who were waiting departure in duty free zone, Incheon International Airport. The survey was developed by researcher and it consist of four parts that demographic characteristic, preference food material, preference cooking method and behavior on food away from home. As a result of the study, korean preferred soup, pork and raw vegetable and dine out with their family. Japanese preferred soup, beef, salad and dine out by themselves. Chinese preferred meat, fish, sauteed vegetable, and dine out with their family. When they were dine-out, Korean frequently ate Korean food, Fast food, Japanese food and Chinese, however Japanese frequently ate Japanese food, Chinese food and Italian food. Chinese frequently ate Chinese food and Fast food. Korean were sensitive of food price, but Japanese were sensitive of food taste and Chinese were sensitive of new experience and taste.

This study is focused on the cases that Korean hotels stepped into international airports, public facilities, and successfully solved the contract related disputes by using arbitration in accordance with arbitration law. This case study on arbitration derives the hotel management strategy points as follow: 1. It must be a good chance for a famed hotel to step into international airports that have big publication effect. The feasibility study focused on marketing feasibility rather than finance feasibility may, however, not be good. 2. Written contract is required in entering into a contract with government organizations. However, oral contract still exists. 3. If the contract is made to always pay the higher amount between annual minimal guarantee and sales rate in expenses of store using charge, such contract shall cause very hard sales environment from the initial stage of the contract. 4. The airports have made optional contracts for national service. Such optional contracts are, however, not free from public criticism. 5. This case study is the first case study on arbitration applied to hotels. This study shall be, therefore, frequently referred to in setting a management strategy of hotels that want to run restaurants in another facility outside themselves.

The recent APT attacks including cyber terror are caused by a high level of malicious codes and hacking techniques. This implies that essentially, advanced security management is required, from the perspective of 5A. The changes of IT environment are represented by Mobile, Cloud and BYOD. In this situation, the security model needs to be changed, too into the Airport model which emphasizes prevention, and connection, security and integration of functions from the existing Castle model. This study suggested an application method of the risk-based Airport model to the cyber security environment.

Globalization has significantly elevated the importance of the aviation sector in the global economy. However, despite the pivotal role airports play, some have struggled to maintain sustainability. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to understand the effect of Regional airports' perceived critical success factors and its effect on the performance of airports. This paper surveyed personnel who worked at regional airport and conducted an empirical analysis based on survey results. The study validates hypotheses pertaining to the critical success factors within regional airports and its influences on management performance. The comprehensive analysis reveals that, central governments has a positive impact on the regional airports' team·process·organizational factors. Furthermore, the team and organizational factors exerts positive influence on the management performance. This paper offers empirical insights to regional airports's critical success factors and its impact on airports' performance.
