농대생의 농업교육훈련 만족도, 학습전이, 학습지속의향에 관한 구조적 관계 분석 (An Analysis of Structural Relationship among Satisfaction, Learning Transfer, Learning Persistence of Agricultural Education Program on Agricultural Students)

  • This study aimed to analyze educational satisfaction and the relationship between learning transfer and learning persistence shown after actual education targeting students who participated in the agricultural education and training. Conclusions based on the study results can be suggested as follows. First, of the factors related to learning persistence, satisfaction of educational contents turned out to be a statistically significant factor with a positive effect in the agricultural education and training. Students participating in the agricultural education and training have a conspicuous object to learn for improving ability which is necessary for and applicable to agriculture. Second, of the three factors related to learning transfer in the agricultural education and training, satisfaction of educational contents, educational facilities and satisfaction of environment turned out to have a positive effect. Third, results show that satisfaction of instructors does not affect both learning persistence and learning transfer. Lastly, in case of education and training for field practice, this study is suggesting the necessity of research by accessing in a concrete and detailed manner such as learning contents, instructors, educational facilities and satisfaction of environment from the comprehensive concept of educational satisfaction in the directivity of study related to satisfaction.

Calcineurin-Responsive Transcription Factor CgCrzA Is Required for Cell Wall Integrity and Infection-Related Morphogenesis in Colletotrichum gloeosporioides

  • The ascomycete fungus Colletotrichum gloeosporioides infects a wide range of plant hosts and causes enormous economic losses in the world. The transcription factors (TFs) play an important role in development and pathogenicity of many organisms. In this study, we found that the C2H2 TF CgCrzA is localized in both cytoplasm and nucleus under standard condition, and it translocated from cytoplasm to nucleus in a calcineurin-dependent manner. Moreover, the ΔCgCrzA was hypersensitive to cell wall perturbing agents and showed severe cell wall integrity defects. Deletion of the CgCRZA inhibited the development of invasive structures and lost pathogenicity to plant hosts. Our results suggested that calcineurin-responsive TF CgCrzA was not only involved in regulating cell wall integrity, but also in morphogenesis and virulence in C. gloeosporioides.

농촌진흥청 연구개발 평가체계의 성과지향적 발전 방향 (Developments of Evaluation System in Agricultural R&D Program by Rural Development Agency)

  • 이 연구는 농업 연구개발사업의 객관적인 성과와는 달리 농촌진흥청의 역할에 대한 논의가 끊이지 않고 있는 문제의식에서 출발하고 있다. 이에 따라 농업 연구개발사업의 핵심 주체인 농촌진흥청의 내부 연구개발 평가체계를 대상으로 평가기조, 평가자원, 평가수행, 평가활용이라는 4가지 관점에서 메타 평가를 수행하였다. 연구결과는 평가기조에 해당하는 평가대상의 설정이 최하위 수준인 세부 연구과제로 설정되어 있다는 점이 가장 큰 문제로 분석되었다. 따라서 이 연구는 우선적으로 평가목적과 평가대상 등의 평가기조를 과학기술정책 및 평가정책 등의 외부의 정책환경 변화와 조응할 수 있는 방향으로 전환함으로서 현행 농업 연구개발사업의 평가제도를 성과지향적으로 발전시키기 위한 정책대안을 논의하였다.

  • 농업 기업가의 과학 기술적 경향은 새로운 기회를 식별하고 탐구하기 위해 필요해지고 있다. 최근 연구에 따르면 신기술의 채택은 기업가적 지향(EO)의 광범위한 접근법과 일치한다. 농업의 타당성이 증가하고 있다고 해도, 기업가적 연구는 대체로 이 도전적인 분야를 간과해 왔다. 게다가, 문헌에는 경험적 연구가 상대적으로 부족하고 여전히 연구되어야 하는 부분이며 잠재력이 있다고 논하고 있다. EO의 문헌에서 비롯된 이 연구는 농업 분야인 HEO(Humanine Entrepreneural Orientation)의 접근을 제안한다. 이 논문은 HEO의 다양한 치수가 농가의 신기술 채택 성향에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위한 경험적 분석을 제안한다. 모든 결과는 기업, 연구 시스템 및 공공 정책에 대한 몇 가지 시사점을 강조한다. 농업이 매우 특이한 분야이고 제조업과 상당히 다르더라도 농민도 기업인으로 볼 수 있으며 기업가정신을 따를 수 있다고 본다. 따라서, 경험적 연구의 상대적 부족인 농업 EO에 대한 문헌을 본 연구를 통해 풍부하게 할 수 있다고 본다.

Resistance of Polystyrene-Impregnated Glued Laminated Lumbers after Exposure to Subterranean Termites in a Field

  • Termites are a serious threat to wood-based products in Indonesia. This study investigated the termite resistant property of glulam made from polystyrene-modified wood. Three tropical fast-growing wood species, namely mangium (Acacia mangium), manii (Maesopsis eminii), and rubberwood (Hevea brasiliensis), were prepared for flat-sawn laminae. After getting air-dried condition, the laminae were impregnated with polystyrene using potassium peroxydisulphate as a catalyst followed by polymerization at 80℃. Polystyrene-impregnated and control glued-laminated lumbers (glulams) were manufactured, and solid wood was provided. Three wood species and three wood products with six replicates were exposed in a field in Bogor, Indonesia, for four months, and before the tests, their density and moisture content were measured. At the end of the field tests, the weight loss and protection levels of each test sample were determined. A completely randomized factorial design was used for data analysis. The weight percentage gains for mangium, manii, and rubberwood were 22.30%, 18.22%, and 10.44%, respectively. The results showed that manii belonged to low-density wood, whereas the other two woods were medium-density wood, and the moisture content was the ambient moisture content, typical of the Bogor area. Regarding weight loss and protection level, mangium was the most durable against subterranean termite attacks, followed by rubberwood and manii. Among the wood products, the polystyrene-impregnated glulam presented the highest durability, followed by the control glulam and solid wood. Therefore, mangium and rubberwood polystyrene-impregnated glulams are recommended for future product development.

작목다각화가 농업소득에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Crop Diversification on Agricultural Income)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of crop diversification on farm households' agricultural income. Abundant literature have explored the determinants and efficient strategies for crop diversification. Yet, there is a paucity of research studies that empirically test the effectiveness of crop diversification as a profitable farm management strategy. Utilizing the 2015 Agricultural Census, this study adopts a quasi-experimental research design to compare the outcomes between farm households that opted for crop diversification and farm households that did not engage in such a strategy. In doing so, this study applies the Heckman Selection Model and the decomposition technique to address the problem of selection bias and to identify the causal effect. Our empirical results show that farms that implement diversification are more likely to earn higher agricultural income than non-diversified farms, although the difference would not be much substantial. This study concludes with several policy proposals to stabilize agricultural income in conjunction with crop diversification.

Digital Transformation of Agriculture Supply Chain in Vietnam: Current Status and Proposal of Roadmap

  • As the main driver of economic growth and employment, the agricultural sector plays an important role in Vietnam's economy. However, in recent years, the sector has faced new challenges and also presented new investment opportunities to stimulate agricultural growth. Many Vietnamese agricultural producers currently lack the modern technology and decision support tools needed to maintain and improve productivity in a rapidly changing environment. Other stakeholders in the agricultural value chain, such as input suppliers, distributors, and consumers, also face significant challenges, including disrupted value chains, transportation costs. The cost of transporting goods across the supply chain continues to increase and information exchange remains fragmented. A potential solution to address these challenges is the application of digital transformation in agricultural supply chains. Farmers and other value chain participants can improve the production of their goods and procedures by utilizing new and cutting-edge technologies that are integrated into a unified system as part of the digital transformation of agricultural supply chains. In this study, we evaluate the current status of digital transformation in the supply chain of the agriculture industry by finding and examining pertinent publications from key agencies as well as prior research. From there, in the framework of the digital economy, this study suggests a digital transformation roadmap for the agricultural supply chain.

  • 본 논문에서는 기술융합화에 따른 경기도 농업분야의 블루오션 전략으로 경기도 식물공장(vertical farm) 추진의 전략방향을 고찰하고, 이를 위한 과학기술 유관기관간 협력방안을 모색하여 본다. 기술 융복합 성격이 매우 강한 사업의 추진은 사업추진 초기부터 협력을 위한 전략 프레임을 설정하고 이에 따라 협력체계를 구축하는 것이 성공의 열쇠가 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 경기도 식물공장의 추진의 미래상을 시나리오플래닝을 통하여 고찰하여 보고, 이의 달성을 위한 향후 식물공장 추진 방향을 고찰한다. 농업기술 융복합 혁신의 산물인 식물공장 추진의 전략방향을 시나리오플래닝을 통하여 다차원적으로 고찰한 본 논문은 융복합 기술관련 연구 조직에게 큰 함의를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

인터넷 지식공유에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구: 사회적 자본 이론과 자기표현욕구를 중심으로 (The Factors to Promote Internet Knowledge Sharing: Based on Social Capital Theory and Self-Expression Concept)

  • The previous researches about knowledge sharing were proceeded in terms of KMS (Knowledge Management System) in center. However, knowledge sharing is recently applied to Internet space, which is open to every users, as well as KMS, which is qualified for restricted people. For example, some portal sites, such as Naver, the most popular portal in Korea, have virtual spaces to share users' knowledges and it is common that many users use the spaces. Knowledge sharing online, compared with KMS, will be more advanced to promote intention for knowledge sharing because of the character of Internet space that is open to all users. Nevertheless, there are few researches about knowledge sharing in the Internet. Considering this situation, this study is attempted to figure out the factors to promote Internet knowledge sharing, based on social capital theory and self-expression concept. A survey of experienced Internet user and PLS (Partial Least Square) were utilized for analysis. The test of this study reveals that social capital and self-expression are significant factors to influence knowledge sharing intention, and that also personal innovation and self-efficacy are significantly related to the self-expression. However, personal innovation does not have significant impact on social capital. According to the result, self-expression, as well as trust and system itself, has significantly effect on knowledge sharing intention in order to promote knowledge sharing in the Internet.

A quantitative method for detecting meat contamination based on specific polypeptides

  • Objective: This study was aimed to establish a quantitative detection method for meat contamination based on specific polypeptides. Methods: Thermally stable peptides with good responses were screened by high resolution liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Standard curves of specific polypeptide were established by triple quadrupole mass spectrometry. Finally, the adulteration of commercial samples was detected according to the standard curve. Results: Fifteen thermally stable peptides with good responses were screened. The selected specific peptides can be detected stably in raw meat and deep processed meat with the detection limit up to 1% and have a good linear relationship with the corresponding muscle composition. Conclusion: This method can be effectively used for quantitative analysis of commercial samples.
