A Study on the Servicescape Design Strategy of a Dog-Friendly Hotel According to the Convenience Pursued by Consumers

  • This study analyzes the servicescape of a dog-friendly hotel, which is the most important element of travel with a dog, which is increasing as the types of families diversify, and intends to suggest implications for servicescape strategies to enhance competitiveness in the future. The number of households with companion animals is increasing in line with the aging of the population, changes in the demographic structure due to the rapid increase in single-person households, and increase in income. In order to successfully operate a hotel with companion animals, which cannot have all the facilities like a large hotel, we would like to segment the market according to the user's pursuit of convenience and propose an appropriate servicescape design method.

  • This paper presents the possibility of entering the global health food market as well as Korean market due to the expected effects such as satisfying the health-oriented desire of modern people and preventing diseases in advance by analyzing the consumers' reactionsto Jincho Civet Musk Dan(Jin), which uses Civet Musk, which has recently been in the limelight as a raw material for health foods, as its main ingredient and factors that can affect the demand for health food due to the aging of the population and the spread of well-being culture based on the characteristics and efficacy of each raw material.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop hand creams among the types of cosmetics based on domestic pumpkins grown in Yangju. Pumpkins are mostly used for cooking, but because they contain a large amount of vitamin A, they can also be used as raw materials for cosmetics to prevent skin aging. The final design was researched and developed through a graphic expression of pumpkin characteristics, a design process, and a survey on preference for differentiated packaging design. The survey targets women in their 20s and 30s who directly purchase cosmetics, and an analysis of consumers' preference for brand product decisions showed that simple and modern designs suitable for cosmetics images topped the list. In addition, it showed a positive image of cosmetics development using local agricultural products and high brand value. We present the possibility that domestic pumpkin raw materials can be applied to cosmetics and aim to develop excellent cosmetics brands through consumer preference surveys.

  • 1990년대에 들어서면서 국민소득이 크게 향상되고 각종 공해와 환경오염의 심화 및 건강에 대한 관심의 증가로 안전한 식품, 안전한 농산물에 대한 소비자의 요구가 지속적으로 커지고 있다. 최근 들어서는 고령화시대, 독신자 증가, 저 출산 등으로 농수산물을 다량으로 구입하던 예전과는 달리 소매 업장을 이용하여 소량 구매하는 고객들이 늘어나고 있다. 또한, 모든 산업분야에 걸쳐 고객의 요구가 다양해지는 것은 농수산물 구입에도 반영되고 있다. 농수산물은 다른 제품과는 달리 유통단계도 매우 신속하여야 하고, 고객의 입장에서 세분화된 유통의 모든 단계에도 높은 관심을 보이고 있는 실정이다. 또한, 농수산물을 주로 판매하는 소매 업장에서는 고객의 요구를 정확하게 알고 반영하는 것이 수익을 창출하는 기본이 된다. 본 연구는 소매 업장에서 농수산물 판매 시 고객만족을 이끌어 내고 나아가서는 많은 충성고객을 만들어 높은 수익을 창출할 수 있는 전략을 세우는데 그 목적을 가지고 있다. 기존의 문헌고찰 결과 소매 업장에서는 브랜드 제품의 구비 및 A/S제도 서비스를 통해 소비자들이 농수산물 구매시 가장 중요하게 생각하고 있는 신뢰성을 형성하여야 한다는 결과를 도출하였다. 또한, 사회의 변화에 발맞추어 소량 판매를 위한 개별 포장 등으로 보관상의 문제나 처리 문제를 해결하는 방안을 마련해야 한다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 소매업장에서는 세분화된 고객의 니즈를 반영한 고객서비스 차원의 전략을 수립하여 발전시켜 나아가야 한다.

석류 과일 껍질을 활용하는 새로운 기능성 식품의 최근 연구 동향 (Recent Trends in New Functional Foods using Pomegranate Fruit Peel)

  • Functional foods are of great significance since our society is accelerating into aging. An aging society has many physiological metabolic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, dementia and geriatric diseases. Fundamental treatments for the elderly are almost impossible and the social burden is heavy. If these diseases can be prevented or alleviated by improving dietary habits using functional foods, the significance would be very large. Pomegranate has been found to have 124 different kinds of phytochemicals. Polyphenols have a wide range of protective effects including various physiological metabolic diseases and cancers. It is necessary to develop functional foods such as preservatives and food extenders which can contribute to food safety, required in the food industry, by using such bioactive substances. Pomegranates have been reported to decrease the impact of many serious illnesses. There is a considerable amount of bioactive substances in the peel of a pomegranate, which has potent anticancer, antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-apoptotic properties. Unfortunately, the peel is typically discarded after processing. Despite knowledge regarding the bioactive substances in the pomegranate peel and peel extracts, including their functionality and diversity, the knowledge is not well known by consumers in general. The aim of this study was to review up to date research trends for processing and developing new functional foods by utilizing nutritional functional substances, favourite food materials, and materials for processing food contained in pomegranate peels and pomegranate peel extracts. This study will summarize the data found in pomegranate peel and pomegranate peel extract literature mainly recently published in Science Direct. There are polyphenolic compounds (ellagitannins, punicalagin, proanthocyanidin, flavonoids, polysaccharides, etc.) in the fruit peel, making up about 50% of the pomegranate's weight. The polyphenol content of a pomegranate fruit peel is 149.91 mg/g, which is about 100 times higher than the juice. Paying attention to the fact that the ellagitannin content (14.22 mg/g) in the fruit peel is also twice as high as that of the fruit juice and seeds, that confirms the possibility of utilizing the peel as a food ingredient capable of developing new, functional bioactive foods.

  • Long-term exposure to environmental pollutants can impair the human skin's barrier function and promote skin aging mechanisms. The visible consequences of these effects are dryness, wrinkles, black spots and worsening skin sensitivity. As awareness of the effects of environmental stressors on the skin has recently increased, consumers' demand for cosmetics that can provide anti-pollution effects is increasing. In this study, the possibility of anti-pollution cosmetic material was investigated by measuring the inhibitory effect of free radicals using a mixture of Nypa fruticans Wurmb (NF), Saussurea neoserrata (SN), Codium fragile (CF) and Enteromorpha compressa (EC), which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects against irritation caused by dust. Combining the experimental results of a mixture of NF, SN, CF and EC by induction of fine dust stimulation, inhibition of inflammatory factors (PGE2) and intracellular free radicals (ROS) by inhibiting effects were significant, indicating the possibility of use as anti-pollution cosmetics. The most plants used as sources of anti-pollution cosmetic ingredients contain antioxidants as active substances. In our highly industrialized and chemically polluted world, it is not surprising that most plants used as sources of anti-pollution cosmetic ingredients contain antioxidants as active substances. Considering our results, it can be suggested that this anti-pollutant consisting of NF, SN, CF and EC may be a good ingredient for skincare products for the cosmetic industry due to their antioxidant properties, which may especially alter skin aging.

온라인 의류 쇼핑 사이트의 제품 사이즈 정보 실태 분석 - 여성용 바지를 중심으로 - (Sizing Communications on Online Apparel Retail Websites - Focusing on Ready-to-Wear Women's Pants -)

  • This study aims to analyze the sizing information of women's ready-to-wear pants as indicated on online retail websites and to suggest better sizing communication that can assist customers in making successful apparel size selections. We gathered size specifications and size reference information for basic straight pants from 34 online apparel retail websites. Although the Korean standard recommends labeling the body dimension-based sizing code and specification, most websites preferred to use various types of sizing codes. Body measurements were only used by a few websites, and garment dimension descriptions were the most common method to indicate product size. Many websites provided size reference information through customer review boards and fit model images, however, there was insufficient body size information to allow customers to infer the fit of their body type. When using the size guidance tools, the major data input points were stature and weight measurements. However, the waist measurements of pants sizes guided only by stature and weight values revealed inconsistent ease allowance for corresponding body size populations, especially in the overweight group. Based on our findings, we propose a more effective method of communicating the size information of pants online. We expect that this will contribute to the efficiency of online apparel product display and build a better shopping environment that satisfies both sellers and consumers.

  • 인구의 고령화와 과학기술의 발전은 헬스케어 산업을 질병 예방을 위한 건강관리에 중점을 두도록 변화시키고 있다. 국내에서는 유헬스와 원격의료 등의 서비스가 효과성 측면에서 사회적 동의를 얻지 못하고 있으나 해외에서는 이에 대한 이용이 확대되고 있다. 특히 인지 컴퓨팅으로 인한 사용자경험 혁신은 헬스케어 정보 서비스와 융합하여 일반인의 건강관리 효과를 높일 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 인지컴퓨팅과 헬스케어 정보서비스를 융합한 인지컴퓨팅 융합 헬스케어 정보서비스의 개념과 모델을 확립하고 일반인을 대상으로 본 융합서비스에 대한 수용요인을 연구하였다. 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 신뢰도 및 타당성 분석을 수행하였고, 구조방정식 모델을 이용하여 가설 검증 및 성별에 따른 조절 효과를 검증하였다.

  • 인구 구성층의 고령화가 급진전되고 있는 현 상황에서 고령 사용자를 배려한 사용 편리성이 제고된 제품개발의 필요성이 중요시 되고 있다. 본 연구는 고령자가 일상생활을 유지하는데 있어서 사용 의존도가 높은 가전제품과 기본 기능의 원만한 조작에 불편함을 느끼는 가전제품들을 중심으로 고령자의 사용행동 정황을 분석하고 사용행동순서를 도식화하였다. 그리고 도식화된 순서에 본 조사 대상에 포함되지 않은 다양한 생활가전제품을 대입시켜 최종적으로 4가지 유형의 가전제품 사용자행동모델을 도출하였다. 유니버설디자인 개념과 마찬가지로 신체적 기능능력 특성이 저하된 고령자들도 사용이 편리한 제품 디자인은 그 외 폭넓은 다양한 사용자층에게도 수용될 것으로 기대된다. 도출되어진 사용자행동모델은 제품기획 및 디자인 문제 해결안 탐색을 위한 디자인 프로세스에서 레퍼런스 제공을 목적으로 하고 있다.
