방과후 어린이집교사의 자기장학 체험 이야기 (The Experience of Teachers' Self-supervision at After-school Nurseries)

  • 본 연구는 방과후 어린이집 교사의 자기장학에 대한 체험을 다양한 이야기를 통해 심층적으로 이해하고자 하였다. 이에 S시 S구에서 근무하는 경력 10년째인 방과후 어린이집 교사를 대상으로 2012년 9월부터 12월말까지 총 4개월간 면담, 참여자의 저널, 참여자와 주고받은 이메일과 전화로 자료를 수집한 것을 기초로 현장 텍스트를 구성하였다. 연구자는 방과후 어린이집 교사가 자기장학 체험을 통해 몰랐던 것을 알게 되는 희열, 자기장학하기에 어려운 방과후 어린이집 교사, 같이 공부하는 선생님, 아이를 이해하기 위한 여가시간 이라는 것을 발견 할 수 있었다. 이렇게 드러난 결과를 기초로 자기장학을 한다는 의미는 미래에 대한 배움의 길로, 더 보이는 눈, 자기장학하기에 어려운 여건이지만 식지 않는 방과후 어린이집 교사의 열정, 자신을 행복하게 하는 그 무엇이라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 어려운 현실여건에도 자기장학을 하며 삶의 의미를 행복하게 사는 방과후 어린이집 교사의 체험이 방과후 어린이집 현장에 함의 하는 시사점에 대해 논의 하였다.

신생아의 행동반응에 대한 실무교육이 간호사와 신생아와의 유희적 상호작용에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of In-service Education of Newborn's Behavior Response on the Nurse-Newborn Play Interaction)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of in-service education on the nurse-newborn play interaction. The research design adopted the pre-experimental design applied only for one pretest-posttest group and Barnard's mother-infant interaction model was used as a conceptual framework. The subjects were 26 nurses who were selected from 2 nurseries in general hospital in Pusan, and 52 healthy newborns who were after 4 days from birth during data collection period at the same hospital. The data were collected from June 1st to October 5th in 2001, by video-taping for the interactive behaviors between the nurse and the newborn, played for 5 minutes in nurseries 2 weeks before and after in-service education. The in-service education consisted of the newborn's behavior responses focused on the newborn baby's states, behavior, cues and state modulation, 3 times per 1 week, 90 minutes per 1 time, lecture, demonstration and hand out project. The experimental tool used for this research was Ha Young-Soo's Korean translation of the Maternal-Infant Play Interaction Scale by Thompson, Jody Baird, Sara Gordman, Bryant(1982), some parts of which were adapted to be suitable for the purpose of this research. Mother and baby scale by Wolke & James-Roberts(1987) was also modified and used as the criterion of nurse's perception of a newborn baby. The results of this study were as follows: 1. This result supported the major hypothesis : After the intervention of in-service education, the nurse and newborn play interaction was promoted. 2. After intervention of in-service education, the nurse perception of newborn, especially the criteria of newborn's reaction was promoted., The results of this research confirm that in-service education on the newborn's behavior responses such as states, behavior, cues and state modulation is an effective way to improve the interaction between the nurse and the baby. It elevated the nurse's sensitivities to the baby's needs. Therefore, in-service education can change the conditions of current nursing practice mostly centered on physical care into a better one in which nurses consider the emotional, social, and intellectual development stages of babies. Accordingly, in-service education contributed to promoting the effective nurse-newborn play interaction so positively.

대구지역 어린이집 보육교사의 유아 구강보건 인식 및 관리실태 (Regional Daycare Center Teachers' Dental Health Perception and Dental Control status in Daegu Metropolitan City)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to improve dental health regarding behavior and understanding of dental health of day care teachers by analyzing actual dental health state. Methods: This study was performed from October 1 to October 30, 2008 for 194 teachers who worked at nurseries in Daegu. Results: In the toothbrushing recognition, 42.3% of the said that tooth brushing after eating is necessary but only 26.3% had the children bush teeth. They did not have the children brush the teeth because they did not have enough time. Many teachers (75.3%) said that dental caries could be prevented. But only 4.1% of them said that fluorine is effective for the prevention of dental caries. The preschool teachers had dental health education experience, better understood the importance of dental health education than those who did not have(p < 0.05). Conclusion: The preschool teachers who had dental health education better recognized the importance of dental health education.

구강보건교육 경험에 따른 유아기 어머니의 책임의식에 관한 연구 (A study on preschooler mother's responsibility based on experiences of oral health education)

  • Objectives : The study enquires into OHB and its importance of preschooler mothers, based on perceived experiences of OHE. It also investigates mothers' sense of responsibility for children's oral health. The purpose is to enhance the effectiveness of OHE and its orientation. Methods : From April 20th to June 15th, 2011, 14 nurseries or preschools were randomly selected from childcare facilities of one gu(borough) in Busan. The objects of study are mothers of four to seven-year-old children. The collected survey data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 for Windows. Results : 1. There is a statistically significant difference(p<0.01) in relations between the mothers' working status and perceived experiences on OHE. 2. On the survey about OHB practices, there are significant differences(p<0.001) in toothbrushing before breakfast, after meals, in three minutes and after refreshments Significant differences(p<0.01) are also shown in toothbrushing after eating fruits. 3. On the survey about the importance of OHB, there are statistical significances(p<0.001) in toothbrushing manner-rather than the number of it-toothbrushing in three minutes after meals and following the correct way of toothbrushing. There are also significant differences(p<0.05) in brushing teeth for more than three minutes. 4. There are significant differences(p<0.001) in mothers' periodic dental examination, children's periodic dental examination and training experience on children's toothbrushing. 5. On the survey about the sense of responsibility for children's OHE based on experiences of OHE, there is a significant difference(p<0.05) in that many replied OHEis "much-needed" regardless of their experiences on it. Conclusions : The results show that of infants' mothers, those with experience on OHE, have an accurate knowledge about toothbrushing, due to the effectiveness of the education. Both groups, however, replied that children's OHE is much needed, suggesting problems about the accessibility of the OHE.

부산시 영세지역 취업여성들의 영유아 양육실태 (Child Rearing Practice of Working Mothers in a Poor Area of Pusan)

  • 도시 영세지역 취업여성들의 자녀양육에 어떤 문제점이 있는지 알아보기 위해 부산시 연산3동 영세민지역에 거주하는 여성 가운데 6세미만의 어린이가 있는 201명을 (비취업여성 150명, 취업여성 51명) 가정 방문하여 미리 준비된 설문지를 이용하여 1989년 4월 10일부터 1989년 5월 10일까지 어머니들과 직접 면접조사하였다. 취업여성들의-78.5%가 경제적 이유 때문에 취업하고 있었으며 31.4%가 주당 60-69시간을 근무하고 있었고 평균 월 수입이 10-19만원인 여성이 33.4%, 20-29만원이 25.4% 였다. 자녀들의 생후 6개월이내의 영양방법은 비취업여성의 66.0%가 모유를 준데 비해 취업여성에서는 49.0%로 취업여부와 수유방법 사이에 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를 나타내었다(p<0.05). 모유수유를 하지 않은 이유는 비취업 여성은 58.9%가 젖이 부족해서 인데 비해 취업여성의 63.6%가 직장때문이었다. 자녀연령에 맞추어 접종해야 할 기본예방접종은 비취업여성의 82.0%가 완료된데 비해 취업여성은 70.5%가 완료되었으나 접종 여부와 취업여부와는 통계학적으로 유의한 상관관계는 아니었다. 자녀사고 경험률은 비취업여성이 17.3%인데 비해 취업여성은 23.5% 였으며, 사고의 종류는 비취업여성에서는 칼이나 장난감을 갖고 놀다가 다친 외상이 34.6%, 낙상이 26.9%인데 비해 취업여성은 교통사고, 낙상이 각각 25.0%였는데 교통사고는 14세 이하의 형이나 언니가 돌보는 중에 일어난 것이 많았다. 자녀사고 발생시 어머니가 하고 있었던 일은 비취업여성의 73.1%가 집에 있었는데 비해 취업여성의 경우 어머니가 직장에 있는 동안 사고가 난 경우가 58.3%였다. 취업여성들의 자녀관리방법은 집안의 어른(친척이나 조부모)이 돌보는 경우가 58.7%로 가장 많았고 14세이하의 형이나 언니가 돌보는 경우가 15.7%였으며 자녀관리자 없이 혼자 두는 경우가 3.9% 였다. 비취업여성중 48.0%가 아이를 맡길수만 있으면 취업하겠다고 하였다. 따라서 영세민의 경제적 자립을 도모하고 영유아의 보호와 건강증진을 위해 큰 경제적 부담없이 믿고 맡길 수 있는 탁아소나 유아교육시설이 절실히 요구된다고 하겠다.
