With the popularity of online learning, intelligent tutoring systems are starting to become mainstream for assisting online question practice. Surrounded by abundant learning resources, some students struggle to select the proper questions. Personalized question recommendation is crucial for supporting students in choosing the proper questions to improve their learning performance. However, traditional question recommendation methods (i.e., collaborative filtering (CF) and cognitive diagnosis model (CDM)) cannot meet students' needs well. The CDM-based question recommendation ignores students' requirements and similarities, resulting in inaccuracies in the recommendation. Even CF examines student similarities, it disregards their knowledge proficiency and struggles when generating questions of appropriate difficulty. To solve these issues, we first design an enhanced cognitive diagnosis process that integrates students' affection into traditional CDM by employing the non-compensatory bidimensional item response model (NCB-IRM) to enhance the representation of individual personality. Subsequently, we propose an affection-enhanced personalized question recommendation (AE-PQR) method for online learning. It introduces NCB-IRM to CF, considering both individual and common characteristics of students' responses to maintain rationality and accuracy for personalized question recommendation. Experimental results show that our proposed method improves the accuracy of diagnosed student cognition and the appropriateness of recommended questions.

The purposes of this study were to examine how the nested social systems affect the identity development of the local university students, and to explore how they integrate externally imposed identities and internally defined ideas of ego. From the protocol writings and personal face-to-face interviews with 87 local university students, the present study found that the participants tended to identify themselves as a university student rather than a 'local' university student. They were aware of the social prejudices against local university students. Some participants resisted the stereotypes imposed by the media, which they perceived as overly simplistic and biased labeling, while others accepted those with feelings of frustration, inferiority, and sadness. However, they kept making efforts to overcome social prejudices by means of their affection for the local community. The study highlighted that individual identities were constructed in the systems which the individuals belonged to.

This paper proposes a context gathering system that obtains user's environment information from sensor and generates user's context profile. To design the system, we classify context and design context model based on traditional context-aware computing. The proposed system supports contexts adaptation service by gathering user's environment characteristics and biological characteristics and generating user profile.

The purpose of this study is to define the concept of sustainability, to understand the traditional belief system, to comprehend user-focused healing environment, to understand the current status of Korean Hospitals, to analyze the selected case studies, and to point the way toward enhanced architectural solutions for healing environment in hospitals. The research results indicate that the design of healthcare facilities with healing effects depend on the considerations of 5 senses of patients. In other words, the sustainable design approach to create a healthy healing environment is very important, and architects must be aware of diverse sensory needs of the patients. In addition, the following factors affection healthcare facilities must be considered to create healing environment for users: - "Emphasis on sustainable Design" for harmony among nature, man, and building. - Creation of user Focused Healing Environment reflecting the suers' senses. - Search for New Hospital Forms through various design experiments to create the most suitable healing environment. - "Perception of Paradigm Shift" form a focus on sickness-oriented to wellness-oriented healthcare facility design. - "Awareness of Creating User-Friendly Environment" covering the entire age group form youth to elderly.

This study attempted to analyze factors affecting public library collection development. To this end, a recognition survey was conducted on librarians in public libraries to ask about the collection development policy, the environment of the book, and the importance of the reference information. As a result of the analysis, more than 80% of public library librarians were aware of the necessity of the collection development policy. In addition, many librarians prioritized matters related to the status of loans and applied them to their work, and it was found that reference sources such as literature/academic award-winning books, newspapers/magazines, media, and various book-related associations were more important.

This study is a study on the consumer reaction to the augmented reality advertisement which is a recent issue. this study was conducted based on the necessity of marketing advertisement technique suitable for the 4th industrial revolution era. First, we present the types of augmented reality ads based on previous studies, and examined the effects of enjoyment and formation of brand attitudes on brand attachment on products or services based on the perceived value of consumers for these types of ads. This study is briefly summarized as follows. Hypothesis (H1) empirical value had a positive effect on pleasure, and hypothesis H2) empirical value also had a positive effect on brand attitude. Hypothesis (H3) symbolic value had a positive effect on pleasure and hypothesis (H4) symbolic value had positive influence on brand attitude. Hypothesis (H5) Practical value has a positive effect on pleasure. Hypothesis (H7) Pleasure affects positively (+) influence on brand attitude. Hypothesis (H8, H9) enjoyment affects affection and brand attitude affects affection positively. Hypothesis (H6) Practical value did not affect brand attitude positively. It can be seen that the augmented reality advertisement communicates with consumers through experience or symbolic side rather than perceive practical value by consumer. The implication of this study is that the augmented reality advertisement is highly interactive with consumers and can induce consumer participation. This means that consumers are more aware of empirical and symbolic values rather than experiencing practical value through augmented reality advertising.

The purpose of this study was to describe the scales of attitudes toward science and the validation of instruments for students and their parents. These instruments include three scales: cognition about value of science, affection toward science & science learning, and conative participation in scientific activities. A sample of middle school students (N=198) and their parents (N=153) was selected. Data analysis indicated that the instruments developed in this study had proper validity and reliability measures (${\alpha}=0.93$ for student questionnaire, ${\alpha}=0.88$ for parent questionnaire). The results reveal that both students and parents were well aware of the academic/vocational and social value of science, but they had low awareness of the individual value. In spite of that, students have positive feelings regarding enjoyment toward science and science learning, their self-concept and self-efficacy were low. And parents' responses were observed to support their kids in general field but not in science. Especially, female students had low participation in scientific activities and also their parents had low support for scientific activities (p<.0.1). Finally, there were positive correlations between students' attitudes toward science and their parents' affection toward science & science learning and conative participation in science activities.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the anatomic circle around the impacted lower third molar to show, document, and correlate essential findings that should be included in the routine radiographic assessment protocol as clinically meaningful factors in overall case evaluation and treatment planning. Materials and Methods: Cone-beam computed tomographic images of impacted lower third molars were selected according to specific inclusion criteria. Impacted teeth were classified according to their position before assessment. The adjacent second molars were assessed for distal caries, distal bone loss, and root resorption. The fourth finding was the presence of a retromolar canal distal to the impaction. Communication with the dentist responsible for each case was done to determine whether these findings were detected or undetected by them before communication. Results: Statistically significant correlations were found between impaction position, distal bone loss, and detected distal caries associated with the adjacent second molar. The greatest percentage of undetected findings was found in the evaluation of distal bone status, followed by missed detection of the retromolar canal. Conclusion: The radiographic assessment protocol for impacted third molars should consider a step-by-step evaluation for second molars, and clinicians should be aware of the high prevalence of second molar affection in horizontal and mesioangular impactions. They also should search for the retromolar canal due to its associated clinical considerations.

The purpose of this study was to examine the sex-consciousness and sexual values of school children by geographic region. It's specifically attempted to make a comparative analysis of sex-consciousness and sexual values between urban and rural elementary schoolers to help provide efficient sex education for them to build the right sexual values. The subjects in this study were 400 elementary schoolers in their sixth year of elementary schools located in Danyang-gun and Chungju city, north Chungcheong province. After a survey was conducted, answer sheets from 387 students that were analyzable were analyzed. For data handling, SPSS program was employed, and t-test was utilized to see if there's any differences between the urban and rural elementary school youngsters in sex consciousness and sexual values. And $x^2$ test was used to make a comparative analysis of their view of sex education. The findings of the study were as follows : First, regarding sex-consciousness, they had general knowledge on sex. Especially, they were highly aware of sexual violence and the generation of baby, but many of them didn't know about where and how egg cells were produced. This indicated that systematic education should be offered in various ways. Concerning geographic gap, there was a significant difference in sexual knowledge between the urban and rural students. As to sexual attitude, they took a relatively positive attitude toward display of affection or sex-related talk on TV or in movies, as they viewed it as natural. This finding implied that the elementary schoolers were recipient toward sex and took an active attitude toward sexual expressions. Concerning geographic gap, there was no difference between the rural and urban students. As for sexual practices, the largest group of the students had a liking for the opposite sex, which showed that their needs for sex were unveiled in the course of having some trouble due to the other sex rather than through firsthand experiences or activities. As to geographic gap, there was a significant difference between the urban and rural students in that regard. Besides, the urban students put their sex-consciousness in practice more often than the rural students did. After they are educated to build the right sexual values, systematic sex-education programs should also be offered for them to be exposed to sustained sex education and to team how to apply their sex-consciousness to real life. Second, as for sexual values, the school children had relatively positive and equalitarian sexual values. Regarding geographic gap, there were significant gaps between the two groups' view of the opposite sex, sexual roles and chastity. Concerning view of the opposite sex, they attached more importance to the inner aspects of the opposite sex than his or her look, and they wanted to date in a natural manner. Regarding sexual roles, they were relatively well cognizant of gender equity and the importance of male and female roles. As to view of chastity, they looked upon sex as natural, not as what's ugly or ashamed of. Third, concerning their outlook on sex education, approximately more than half the students felt the needs for sex education, and there was a significant difference between the urban and rural students. They wanted to receive education about the prevention of sexual violence and physical changes during puberty the most, and there was a significant gap between the urban and rural students in this aspect. As to the time for sex education, they thought that students should start to be exposed to sex education in their fifth or sixth year. This finding signified that fifth or sixth graders who were in the beginning of puberty started to have a lot of interest in their own physical changes. Therefore, sex education would produce better effects when it's provided to fifth or sixth graders. Nearly half them preferred single-gender class when they received sex education, and there's no gap between the urban and rural students in that regard.
