Today rapid change in information and economy takes the changing of office design. It is very important to understand about the needs of employees and working environment. To promote the efficiency and comfort of the working environment, diverse employee's working characteristic and individual requirements have been observed. To build a good working environment, flexibility of space and communication between employees and employer in the office are very important. Due to the business growth, "K" financial company requires more working space. The design idea for the main areas such as the executive officer's room, the reception, the elevator hall, the conference rooms and the working areas in this project targets the harmony of the functionality and the aesthetic. This project could be able to deliver more convenient and comfortable working place by adopting three main concepts, which are modern, simplicity and moderation.

This project was designed to create good interior design of lobby and cafeteria in the D company. To promote the efficiency and comfort of the working environment diverse employee's working characteristic and individual requirements have been observed. Cafeteria is the important place for employee to have a rest time. And to build a good impression about company, lobby is the very important place to visiter. In this project, the design idea for the lobby and cafeteria targets harmony of the functionality and the aesthetic with the modern and simple design. This project could be able to deliver more convenient and comfortable cafeteria by adopting three concepts like flexibility, functionality and simplicity.

^x This study is an attempt to present the possibility of environmental aesthetics and its characteristic form in Korea. This paper investigated the concept of art as a traditional theory of aesthetics through R.G. Collingwood and present- day analytic philosophers who had been influenced by the ordinary language philosophers in 1950s. Accordingly, the study focused on the institutional theory of art which was developed in reaction to M. Weitz′s views. The institutional theory of art concentrates attention on the nonexhibited characteristics that works of art have An virtue of being embedded in an institutional matrix which may be called "the artworld"and argues that these characteristics are essential and defining. Taking this position, the paper examined the relation between environment and art as aesthetic object because it would be one of the ways to find tole possibility and foundation of environmental aesthetics. Furthermore, these works will be the basis to create our proper landscape or ′our own environment′as a significant and a mental cultural landscape.

The purpose of this research is to provide new direction on the field of the furniture design and to establish the identity of Korean furniture design as the flow of craft's juxtapose mixture era where it mix and match Korean traditional craft style materials with the modern furniture design. In other words, it is intended to create new furniture design and propose beautiful Korean luxury furniture design based on the precious unique culture with the traditional craft style, juxtaposition of modern furniture, and reinterpretation. It should grant artistic values that can satisfy consumers having various tastes and scarcity values, plus it should put out aesthetic and creative expressions in furniture design putting into the beautiful traditional craft form values. Furthermore, it is required to create new design through values and spirit, materials, techniques, forms, pattern, and usages by interacting, coordinating, and combining tradition and modern East and West, plus craft and design.

This study considers direction types and formative characteristics by analyzing natural objets in contemporary fashion window display. The research methods are both literature review and content analysis based on images of contemporary fashion window display. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the direction types of natural objets in contemporary fashion window display expand objective outlines by maximizing the morphological form of objects. Second, a rhythmic sense expressed through a gradual repetition of patterns or a sequential arrangement of natural objects. Third, it represents a reversal of image accomplished through a modification of material on the natural objects. Fourth, a new space is created by transforming two dimensional forms of natural objects. The first formative characteristic of natural objects in contemporary fashion window display is exaggeration. This is expressed through either the expansion of the external volume, the collapsed form of natural objects, or the distortion of external colors. Second, it is a dynamics. This makes it possible to recall the dynamic image of the integration of the observer with a priori thinking by systematically sequencing objects or inducing a specific motion. Third, it is an abstraction. This provides an opportunity for the observer to find in a natural beauty by exchanging physical form or reinterpreting characteristic points. Fourth, it concerns eclecticism characteristic that objects created through the mutual fusion of heterogeneous elements indicates an aesthetic inspiration in a limited space by diverting conventional thinking toward natural objects with expansion of consciousness on formative arts.

This study analyzed the trends and aesthetic characteristics of fur design found in the contemporary fashion to examine the status of fur material in the contemporary fashion design, and through an analysis of the meaning it attempted to come up with a new viewpoint and form on material for the future fashion design. A literature review was used to explore the kinds and properties of furs. In addition, an empirical analysis of works that have appeared in fashion collections since the year 2000 was conducted with local and foreign fashion magazines such as Gap, Vogue, and Mode & Mode and other publications related to fashion collections. In the contemporary fashion, the trends of fur design are represented by use of various items, material combinations, application to decorative purposes(like trimmings, details, or accessories), and a wide range of colors and textures available by advanced dyeing and finishing techniques. The aesthetic values intrinsic to fur design are that the expression of conspicuous luxury covers even the qualitative aspect of luxury and adds fashionable images to casual items, contributing to the popularization of fur fashion, by using a variety of artificial furs; the expression of sensual feminine beauty allows the animal and primitive feel characteristic of furs to convert a feminine body into a sensual image of more than a simple biological impulse; and the expression of hybridity presents a new viewpoint through distortions, exaggerations, deviations from the existing constituent forms, or futuristic sensibilities in all elements of fashion design.

중요 디지털콘텐츠 산업의 하나인 애니메이션 산업의 경우, 작품을 근간으로 하는 다양한 파생 콘텐츠를 양산, 관련 콘텐츠산업의 동반성장과 콘텐츠시장의 확장을 도모할 수 있는 잠재적 역량을 내재하고 있다는 점에서 그 중요성과 발전의 가능성이 높은 분야라고 할 수 있다. 특히 국내 유아동 TV 애니메이션의 경우, 디지털콘텐츠의 핵심 기능인 오락적 가치에 교육적 가치를 더함으로서 에듀테인먼트(edutainment)라는 융합형 콘텐츠로서, 대중적 인지도를 향상시킴과 동시에 대내외 경쟁력을 확보, 국내 애니메이션 산업 성장의 중추적 역할을 담당하고 있다. 본 연구는 조형요소로서 인체비례론이 가지는 이론적 중요성을 근간으로, 현재 EBS에서 방영중인 작품들의 캐릭터들을 대상으로 세분화된 비율을 측정, 그 결과를 분류, 분석하는 연구방법을 통하여, 현재 선호하는 유아동 애니메이션 캐릭터의 등신비율에 대한 현황파악과 함께, 캐릭터 개발에 실질적 활용과 적용이 가능한 디자인 창작지표를 제시하는 것에 연구의 목적과 의의가 있다.

Purpose: Together with the breast, buttocks are an important element of attractive body contour. To make a beautiful buttocks, improvement of body contour around the buttock as well as buttock augmentation and lifting is also important. The authors investigated characteristic features of buttocks in Koreans and report about the results of liposculpture and autologous fat injection for improving buttock's contour. Methods: We performed a retrospective study of 21 patients who would like to gluteal reshaping. We checked about buttock's ptosis, projection, depression, gluteal retraction and excessive fat accumulation around buttocks. Depending on it, we performed liposculpture and autologous fat injection. Under general anesthesia, we harvested fat from excessive fat accumulation areas around buttocks, and injected into buttocks medio-superiorly. Postoperatively, pillows were positioned on the bed not to press the buttocks which were injected with the fat. Results: Based on the shape of buttocks, A-shape is seen in 4 cases (19%), V-shape 3 cases (14%), squareshape 9 cases (43%), round-shape 5 cases (24%). Based on the Gonzalez's ptosis grading method, 1 degree ptosis is 1 case (4%), 2 degree ptosis is 6 cases (29%), 3 degree ptosis is 8 cases (38%), 4 degree ptosis is 6 cases (29%). There were no complications such as infection, hematoma, pain, dysparethesia. The subjective assessment of surgical results by patients was excellent. Conclusion: To make a beautiful buttock, improvement of body contour around the buttock as well as buttock augmentation and lifting is also important. Liposculpture and autologous fat grafting are very safe, useful and easy methods for improving buttock's contour.

Background The objective of this study was to assess the attractive facial features of the Indian population. We tried to evaluate subjective ratings of facial attractiveness and identify which facial aesthetic subunits were important for facial attractiveness. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted of 150 samples (referred to as candidates). Frontal photographs were analyzed. An orthodontist, a prosthodontist, an oral surgeon, a dentist, an artist, a photographer and two laymen (estimators) subjectively evaluated candidates' faces using visual analog scale (VAS) scores. As an objective method for facial analysis, we used balanced angular proportional analysis (BAPA). Using SAS 10.1 (SAS Institute Inc.), the Turkey's studentized range test and Pearson correlation analysis were performed to detect between-group differences in VAS scores (Experiment 1), to identify correlations between VAS scores and BAPA scores (Experiment 2), and to analyze the characteristic features of facial attractiveness and gender differences (Experiment 3); the significance level was set at P=0.05. Results Experiment 1 revealed some differences in VAS scores according to professional characteristics. In Experiment 2, BAPA scores were found to behave similarly to subjective ratings of facial beauty, but showed a relatively weak correlation coefficient with the VAS scores. Experiment 3 found that the decisive factors for facial attractiveness were different for men and women. Composite images of attractive Indian male and female faces were constructed. Conclusions Our photogrammetric study, statistical analysis, and average composite faces of an Indian population provide valuable information about subjective perceptions of facial beauty and attractive facial structures in the Indian population.

우리가 거주하는 도시의 환경을 개선하는데는 여러 가지 방안이 있다. 그 중 환경색채는 도시환경을 구성하는 조형요소 중 하나로서 그에 대한 인식이 점차 높아지고 있다. 안정되고 적절한 도시환경의 색채는 사람들에게 심리적, 사회적, 문화적 영향을 줄뿐만 아니라 도시의 이미지 홍보에도 유용한 방법이라 할 수 있다. 도시민들에게 감성적, 미학적, 정서적 만족을 주기 위해서는 환경색채 계획에 대한 체계적이고 합리적인 디자인 접근이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 실제 환경색채디자인을 함에 있어 기존환경 및 사례조사, 이미지 설정을 위한 설문조사 등의 현황 조사를 면밀히 분석하여 지역환경개선을 위한 환경색채계획에 적용함으로써 구체적이고 실질적인 색채디자인의 방향을 제시 하고자 하였다. 합리적이고 체계적인 환경색채 디자인을 함으로써 지역의 아이덴티티 형성, 색채의 통합적 적용으로 고유 이미지 제고 및 통일성 강화, 미적 특성을 살린 시각환경 조성, 그리고 지속적인 색채관리의 효율성 등의 효과가 기대된다.
