차선이탈경보를 위한 차량용 GPS/DR 통합항법시스템 기반의 모니터링 프로그램 개발 (Development of Monitoring Program Based an Automotive GPS/DR Integrated Navigation System for Lane Departure Warning)

  • 본 논문에서는 높은 정확도를 요구하는 육상교통분야에 활용할 수 있는 통합항법 알고리즘을 설계하고 차선이탈경보를 위한 모니터링 프로그램을 개발하였다. 차선이탈경보를 위해서는 차선 구분이 가능한 정확도 높은 위치정보가 필요하므로 GPS와 DR기반의 위치정보를 융합한 위치결정 알고리즘을 설계하였다. 설계한 통합항법 알고리즘의 검증을 위해서 실제 차량을 이용하여 데이터를 수집하고, 후처리한 결과를 모니터링 프로그램으로 확인하였다. 모니터링 프로그램은 주행동영상과 항공사진을 통해서 차로유지 및 차선이탈 유무를 확인할 수 있도록 제작하였다.

  • 모션 및 무인 차량의 깊이 제어를 위해 스테레오 비전 분석을 하였다. 스테레오 비전에서 3차원 좌표의 깊이 정보는 스테레오 이미지 사이의 포인트를 식별한 후 삼각 측량을 통해 얻을 수 있다. 그러나 항상 몇몇 이유 때문에 삼각 측량의 오류가 발생한다. 비전 삼각 측량의 이러한 오류는 카메라의 위치와 방향에 주의하여 배열함으로써 완화 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 무인 차량을 위해 카메라의 최적의 위치와 방향을 결정하는 방법을 제시하였다.

내부 운전자 보호를 위한 금속 물체 탐지 시스템 (Metal Object Detection System For Drive Inside Protection)

  • 본 논문에서는 내부 운전자에게 위협이 될 수 있는 실시간 금속 물체 탐지 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 퍼지 이론를 이용하여 금속 물체를 탐지할 수 있는 색상 필터를 설계하는 알고리즘과 차량안의 특정 영역 내에서 FSCF(Fuzzy Skin Color Filter)를 이용하여 운전자의 얼굴 영역을 탐지하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 또한, 탐지된 동승자의 손 영역을 기점으로 색상기반 원형탐색 기법을 사용하여 최종적으로 위협을 가할 수 있는 금속물체의 후보영역을 설정하고, 제안된 금속 물체 필터를 적용하여 최종적인 금속물체영역을 탐지 한다. 마지막으로 제안된 방법은 여러 실험을 통해 내부 운전자 보호를 위한 금속물체 탐지 시스템의 우수성을 증명한다.

  • Clutches are an integral part of the automatic transmission for changing gears. Modern automatic transmissions make extensive use of wet multiple-disc clutches employing hydraulic actuation mechanism with electronic control. Although nowadays, highly advanced shifting algorithm implements the superior shift quality and transmission efficiency, its performance should be based on smooth, reliable engagement with a reasonably durable friction material as well as stable clutch piston dynamics. Particularly, clutch filling control is the crucial part of shifting process because only the open-loop control is available due to the lack of measurement. In this paper, the effect of clutch-fill control parameters on clutch piston dynamics is experimentally investigated by using clutch piston test equipment which enables the clutch piston to actuate similar to real shifting conditions. The experimental analysis results can be expected to be utilized for the calibration of proportional solenoid valve as reference current profile data in vehicle test.

9㎥급 믹서드럼 블레이드의 개발 (Development of Blade on 9㎥ Class of Mixer Drum)

  • The concrete mixer truck which is in charge of raw materials in civil engineering construction of the concrete loading, transport, placement, is used $6m^3$, $7m^3$ class in domestic(Korea). But in the case of the international construction fields are utilized $9m^3$ or above class because of the large-scale engineering and construction circumstances. In this paper, to develop a large $9m^3$ class mixer drum and the mixer drum in order to complement the technical and discharge that is responsible for stirring the blades by applying optimal design through implementation of the optimal shape of the concrete in the drum maintenance and placement of high-quality effects on increasing discharge such as advanced conventional drum mixer is to secure and differentiated technology. Large, heavy weight in development and uphold the drum mixer vehicle sub-frame is required to settle the design of the existing class mixer drum frames per $6m^3$ changed to account for changes in slope and length using CATIA V5 3D modeling work was performed.

Development of a Multiple Linear Regression Model to Analyze Traffic Volume Error Factors in Radar Detectors

  • Traffic data collected using advanced equipment are highly valuable for traffic planning and efficient road operation. However, there is a problem regarding the reliability of the analysis results due to equipment defects, errors in the data aggregation process, and missing data. Unlike other detectors installed for each vehicle lane, radar detectors can yield different error types because they detect all traffic volume in multilane two-way roads via a single installation external to the roadway. For the traffic data of a radar detector to be representative of reliable data, the error factors of the radar detector must be analyzed. This study presents a field survey of variables that may cause errors in traffic volume collection by targeting the points where radar detectors are installed. Video traffic data are used to determine the errors in traffic measured by a radar detector. This study establishes three types of radar detector traffic errors, i.e., artificial, mechanical, and complex errors. Among these types, it is difficult to determine the cause of the errors due to several complex factors. To solve this problem, this study developed a radar detector traffic volume error analysis model using a multiple linear regression model. The results indicate that the characteristics of the detector, road facilities, geometry, and other traffic environment factors affect errors in traffic volume detection.

Optimization of structural elements of transport vehicles in order to reduce weight and fuel consumption

  • In global competition manufacturing companies have to produce modern, new constructions from advanced materials in order to increase competitiveness. The aim of my research was to develop a new composite cellular plate structure, which can be primarily used for structural elements of road, rail, water and air transport vehicles (e.g. vehicle bodies, ship floors). The new structure is novel and innovative, because all materials of the components of the newly developed structure are composites (laminated Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) deck plates with pultruded Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) stiffeners), furthermore combines the characteristics of sandwich and cellular plate structures. The material of the structure is much more advantageous than traditional steel materials, due mainly to its low density, resulting in weight savings, causing lower fuel consumption and less environmental damage. In the study the optimal construction of a given geometry of a structural element of a road truck trailer body was defined by single- and multi-objective optimization (minimal cost and weight). During the single-objective optimization the Flexible Tolerance Optimization method, while during the multi-objective optimization the Particle Swarm Optimization method were used. Seven design constraints were considered: maximum deflection of the structure, buckling of the composite plates, buckling of the stiffeners, stress in the composite plates, stress in the stiffeners, eigenfrequency of the structure, size constraint for design variables. It was confirmed that the developed structure can be used principally as structural elements of transport vehicles and unit load devices (containers) and can be applied also in building construction.

경량화에 의한 한국형발사체 궤도투입성능 향상 분석 (Analysis of Orbit Injection Performance of KSLV-II by Weight Reduction)

  • 발사체 경량화에 따른 한국형발사체 투입성능 예측을 위해 궤적계산 프로그램을 작성하였다. 이 프로그램을 이용하여 단 별 구조비 감소 및 엔진 성능 개선에 따른 지구 저궤도 및 태양동기궤도 투입성능을 추정하였으며, 목표궤도에 투입 가능한 페이로드 중량을 성능 판단지표로 두었다. 한국형발사체의 구조비를 기존 대비 60% 수준까지 경량화 할 경우, 지구 저궤도 및 태양동기궤도에 최대 4.5톤, 3톤의 우주화물을 수송할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 구조 경량화와 함께 90톤급, 10톤급의 개선 엔진을 탑재할 경우 태양동기궤도에 최대 3.65톤의 페이로드를 투입할 수 있다.

Low-frequency modes in the fluid-structure interaction of a U-tube model for the steam generator in a PWR

  • In the SG (steam generator) of PWR (pressurized water reactor) for a nuclear plant, hundreds of U-shaped tubes are used for the heat exchanger system. They interact with primary pressurized cooling water flow, generating flow-induced vibration in the secondary flow region. A simplified U-tube model is proposed in this study to apply for experiment and its counterpart computation. Using the commercial code, ANSYS-CFX, we first verified the Moody chart, comparing the straight pipe theory with the results derived from CFD (computational fluid dynamics) analysis. Considering the virtual mass of fluid, we computed the major modes with the low natural frequencies through the comparison with impact hammer test, and then investigated the effect of pump flow in the frequency domain using FFT (fast Fourier transform) analysis of the experimental data. Using two-way fluid-structure interaction module in the CFD code, we studied the influence on mean flow rate to generate the displacement data. A feasible CFD method has been setup in this research that could be applied potentially in the field of nuclear thermal-hydraulics.

액체-액체 핀틀 분사기 적용 연소장치 개발 사례 분석 (Analysis on the Research and Development Cases of Combustion Devices with Liquid-Liquid Pintle Injector)

  • 본 연구에서 액체-액체 핀틀 분사기가 적용된 연소장치의 연구개발 사례 조사를 통해 핀틀 분사기 및 연소장치의 설계 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 자료 분석 결과로 엔진 추력에 따른 연소실 및 핀틀 분사기 규격, 고효율 분사기의 형상을 확인할 수 있었다. 그밖에 핀틀팁 열손상 방지 기구와 소재, Face-shutoff 핀틀 분사기 구현 방법, 중심추진제 선정 기준 등을 정리하여 초기 핀틀 분사기 적용 연소실 설계의 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.
