A noble single-ended input, double-balanced mixer topology is proposed. The mixer incorporates the common-source amplifier input stage with inductive degeneration for impedance matching. The analysis based on simulations shows that the overall performance of the mixer is excellent and is adjustable by varying the input transistor size to give best characteristics for the given linearity specifications.

Some simple devices to demonstrate important hydraulic principles are required in fluid mechanics or hydraulics classes. Those devices should be easy to make and operate with inexpensive cost. The writer has studied some simple demonstration apparatus of hydraulic principles which were made of cheap materials. An adjustable nozzle is one of them. It can be connected to an axial flow fan so as to use air flow. By operating this apparatus, pressure changes in gradually enlarged or contracted conduits could be observed.

In this study we carry out usability evaluation for adjustable electric beds for home care that are used the most by the elderly, and examines dissatisfaction of users. In this sense, we performed an interview with stakeholders including bed users, developers and suppliers to develop usability evaluation contents. In addition, we carried out feasibility and reliability study over evaluation form through usability assessment, and developed usability evaluation indicator.

A new motion estimation algorithm with lower computational complexity and good image quality when compared to the FBMA will be presented in this paper. In the proposed method, by considering the relation between neighboring blocks, the searching area in the algorithm is adjustable according to mean absolute difference of the block. By the computer simulation the computation amount of the proposed than that of the FBMA and the good result of the PSNR can be attained.

This paper describes the development of a new type of an integrated optical adjustable attenuator using magneto-optic effects in 4-layer slab waveguide. The characteristics of the proposed structure are analyzed and evaluated. Furthermore, the fabrication method and attenuation characteristics have been tested by experimets, therby confirming qualitatively the validity of the design theory.

본 연구에서는 항공고객이 항공사를 선택할 때 기준이 되는 항공서비스요인이 고객만족과 고객애호도에 미치는 영향에 대한 전환비용의 조절적 효과를 중심으로 검증과 규명에 목적을 두고 연구한다. 설문조사는 인천국제공항을 이용하여 국적항공사 이용고객을 모집단으로 하여 항공고객이 항공사를 선택할 때 기준이 되는 항공서비스요인이 고객만족과 고객애호도에 미치는 영향관계와 그리고 고객만족과 고객애호도간 전환비용의 조절적 영향에 대한 검증 자료수집에 목적을 두고 진행 되었으며 연구결과 첫째, 항공서비스는 고객만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 항공서비스는 고객애호도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 항공서비스에 대한 고객만족과 고객애호도간에 전환비용은 연속비용, 학습비용에 조절적인 역할을 못하였고 매몰비용은 조절적 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

이 응용논문에는 적응형 로드리미터에 대해 기술되어 있다. 적응형 로드리미터는 안전벨트의 구성품 중 하나이며, 이는 승객의 다양한 체중과 키에 따라 하중량을 고하중과 저하중으로 변환시킬 수 있는 장치이다. 최근, FMVSS 208규정은 다양한 더미크기에 대해 엄격한 안전기준을 요구하고 있다. 이에 따라 우리는 고하중 조건과 저하중 조건 시 각각 더미에 흉부 상해정도를 알아보았고, 실험을 통해서 벤치마킹모델의 하중조건을 확인하였다. 이를 토대로 적응형 듀얼레벨 로드리미터를 개발하여 성능 실험을 실시하였고, 유한요소해석을 통해 설계 개선점을 확인하였다.

Purpose : this study was to evaluate the fitness of adjustable dental impression trays on the Koreans : the trays used in the previous study by Kim et al. as part of the dental adjustable tray development project were improved and modified. Material and method: The patterns of tray were made through CAD-CAM process, and a simple silicone-base molds were made from them. The trial products were reproduced by pouring polyurethane into these molds. 30 male students(Wonkwang University, Dental College) and 30 female students (Wonkwang Health Science College, Department of Dental Hygiene) were selected and Reversible hydrocolloid impression materials were used for this study. The fitness of the trays was evaluated by measuring the width and length of impression materials of each measurement sites. Results and conclusion : 1. In adapting the trays inside the mouth, a uniform width of impression material(3 $\sim$ 6mm) was obtained in most sites due to the tooth stops and the inclined planes accommodating the width of the tray 2. The thickness of impression material in the central part of the palate was a mean 9.8mm, which turned out to be somewhat thick. 3. In the mandible. the thickness of the impression material in the lingual side inferior to the contact point of the 1st and 2nd molars was 2.7mm, and the thickness of the material in the lingual side of the rearmost margin was 2.5 mm. The thickness of the impression material of these areas was relatively thin.

Statement of problem: In the Protar articulator, the models are almost parallel with the Camper's plane. The ultrasonic-based ARCUSdigma system is basis for the determination of dynamic function parameters with so-called "articulator related registration". Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the sagittal condylar guidance angles found by use of the wax protrusive records in a semi-adjustable articulator(KaVo Protar 7) with those found by use of the Axiograph (ARCUSdigma). 83 volunteers with intact dentition participated in this study after obtainment of informed consent. Material and method: The sagittal condylar guidance angles were measured and estimated statistically by semi-articulator and Axiograph. All the readings were in degrees. No control was used in this project. To test whether there was a significant difference between the 2 independent samples, paired t-test and Kruskal-Wallis test were carried out(p=.05). Results: 1. The mean results for the wax protrusive records were as follow: right side (32.65 degrees, SD 16.48); left side (33.27 degrees, SD 17.49). 2. The mean results for the Axiograph were as follow: right side (32.26 degrees, SD 7.00); left side (33.07 degrees, SD 7.58). 3. There was no statistical difference on the wax protrusive records and Axiograph(p>0.05). Conclusion: Both methods of wax protrusive records and Axiograph are clinically acceptable for measuring the sagittal condylar guidance angles in semi-adjustable articulators.
