There There is a difference in terms of administrative power in that the address of things are not an address under Public Act. In terms of location expression, it is possible to express the location more flexibly and in more detail than the road name address, so it should be improved so that it can be assigned and managed in an appropriate location, so that the location of the entire territory can be expressed together with the road name address. As a result of the comparison between the road name address and the address of things based on the analysis results of related laws such as the existing Road Name Address Act, the Building Act, and the Regulations on the Preparation and Management of Basic Address Information, it was confirmed that there are fundamental limitations of the address of things system. Accordingly, this study attempted to suggest ways to improve the address of thing system by broadly dividing it into the legal aspect and the addressable object aspect. From the legal point of view, firstly, it is necessary to improve the upper and lower level laws by unification together with a clear definition of the term subject of addressable object; secondly, according to the Building Act, facilities that are not used for residence among buildings must be given an address of thing; and thirdly, it is necessary to make it easy to use and link with heterogeneous public data by classifying the registration items of the basic address information map by type of geographical feature to be assigned an address. From the point of view of addressability, firstly, it must be given to all facilities in the relevant category so that it can be recognised that all specific facilities have object addresses, and secondly, it is necessary to be able to address the address of things to places that are used by many, even if there are no facilities.
Simulation analysis may be the essential means to either evaluate performance of systems or optimize system parameters for new design. Including many variations for design and implementation, MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork) is one target area of such an analysis. Since every node, however, included in the network has mobility, one MANET could be overlapped or merged with another one which use a different transport protocol. In order to communicate among nodes in this case, the new merged network should configure paths and addresses in advance. Configuring paths and addresses generates much overheads which ultimately cause delay in communicating data. Performance analysis is required to improve the data transport performance by minimizing overheads. This paper proposes a sound address auto-configuration method which is based on an on-demand manner and then presents modeling and performance analysis of the method. NS-2 simulation results verify that the proposed method can not only alleviate overheads, which are inevitably generated for address auto-configuration processes, and but also decentralize them in time.

This paper proposes a novel method to perform a quantitative analysis of message complexity and applies this method in comparing the message complexity among the mobile ad hoc network (MANET) address autoconfiguration protocols (AAPs). To obtain the upper bound of the message complexity of the protocols, the O-notation of a MANET group of N nodes has been applied. The message complexity of the single node joining case in Strong DAD, Weak DAD with proactive routing protocols (WDP), Weak DAD with on-demand routing protocols (WDO), and MANETconf has been derived as n(mO(N)+O(t)), n(O(N)+O(t)), n(O(N)+2O(t)), and nO((t+1)N)+O(N)+O(2) respectively. In order to verify the bounds, analytical simulations that quantify the message complexity of the address autoconfiguration process based on the different coflict probabilities are conducted.

In this paper,we propose a knowledge-based system for locating Destination Address Block(DAB) by analyzing the structure of Korean envelope images. In the proposed system the preprocessing steps such as adaptive binarization connected component extraction and deskewing are carried out first for the effective structure analysis of the envelope image. Then DAB containing address name and zipcode parts of the input envelope image is extracted by an iterative procedure based on the knowledge acquired from the statistical feature analysis of the various envelope images. Most of the system for slocating address blocks on envelopes have extracted DAB by segmenting an envelope image into several candidate blocks followed by selecting one among the candidate blocks. Because it is very difficult to segment a Korean envelope image into several blocks due to the specific writing habits that the addresses on the envelope are written in close proximity to each other the proposed iterative procedure determines DAB by splitting or merging the connected components and verifies the determined DAB without segmentation and selection. Experiments with a great number of the live envelopes provided from Seoul Mail Center in Koorea were carried out. The results reveal that the proposed system is very effective for address block location on Korean envelopes.
According as computer is supplied in a lot of homes and offices and Internet use increases, various service based on the Internet. Including wireless PDA in the future, many devices such as Internet telephone, TV, refrigerator and oven will be connected on the Internet and Internet address exhaustion will be raised to serious problem gradually. Today, the IPv4 address exhaustion problem has been solved partially using NAT (Network Address Translation) however, the transition to next Generation Internet will be accelerated because of advantages such as mobility, security service, QoS, and abundant IP addresses. In IPv6, all hosts are designed to create and set their address automatically without manager's intervention using Neighbor Discovery Protocol. But, when an IPv6 host sets its address automatically, there are serious security vulnerabilities. In this paper, we analysis security vulnerabilities in auto-configuration and provide security requirements for secure auto-configuration.
We measured 3-dimensional temporal behavior of the light emitted from AC plasma display panel(PDP) at various auxiliary voltage pulse width supplied to the address electrode in sustain period using scanned point detecting system. In the case of applying an auxiliary address voltage pulse, the light emission starts at the inner edges of the cathode so the larger discharge volume toward address electrode can be obtained compared with the normal sustain discharge. Especially, when the auxiliary voltage pulse width is the $2{\mu}s$, the maximum luminance and long emission time can be obtained.
Recently, the users of internet are increasing yearly with the rapid spread of internet. So, the shortage of IPv4 address is important issue to ISP. Many ISP is searching for efficient method to use IP address in ATM Network. Korea Telecom has constructed ATM Network test-bed to verify available technologies necessary for ATM Network. This paper, concerning with the configuration of subscribers in ATM Network test bed, analyze the available usage of IP address.
The MgO protective layer of PDP has a strong influence on address delay. The relation, however, is not clearly understood due to the difficulty of analysis which is caused by surface charging. This paper suggests a way to avoid the charging problem and shows the correlation between workfunction measured by UPS and address delay.

A systematic approach for interpreting Korean addresses based on postal code is presented in this paper. The implementation is focused on producing the final delivery point code from various types of address recognized. There are two stages in the address interpretation : 1) agreement verification between the recognized postal code and upper part of the address and 2) analysis of lower part of the address. In the agreement verification procedure, the recognized postal code is used as the key to the address dictionary and each of the retrieved addresses is compared with the words in the recognized address. As the result, the boundary between the upper part and the lower part is located. The confusion matrix, which is introduced to correct possible mis-recognized characters, is applied to improve the performance of the process. In the procedure for interpreting the lower part address, a delivery code is assigned using the house number and/or the building name. Several rules for the interpretation have been developed based on the real addresses collected. Experiments have been performed to evaluate the proposed approach using addresses collected from Kwangju and Pusan areas.

In modern society, the number of embedded devices has been increasing. However, embedded devices is growing, and the backdoor and vulnerabilities are found continously. It is necessary for this analysis. In this paper, we developed a tool to extract the base address information for the static analysis environment built of the embedded device's firmware. By using this tool, we built the environment for static analysis. As a result, this point enables us to parse the strings and to check the reference. Also, through the increased number of functions, we proved the validity of the tool.
