파이렉스 #7740 유리박막을 이용한 MEMS용 MLCA와 Si기판의 양극접합 특성 (Anodic bonding Characteristics of MLCA to Si-wafer Using Evaporated Pyrex #7740 Glass Thin-Films for MEMS Applications)

  • 본 논문은 파이렉스 #7740 유리 박막을 이용한 MEMS용 MLCA (Multi Layer Ceramic Actuator)와 Si기판의 양극접합 특성에 관한 것이다. 최적의 RF 마그네트론 스피터링 조건 (Ar 100%, input power $1\;W/cm^2$)하에서 MLCA기판위에 파이렉스 #7740 유리의 특성을 갖는 박막을 증착하였다. $450^{\circ}C$에서 1시간 열처리한 다음, -760 mmHg, 600V 그리고 $400^{\circ}C$에서 1시간동안 양극접합했다. 그 다음에 Si 다이어프램을 제조한 후, MLCA/Si 접합계면과 MLCA 구동을 통한 Si 다이어프램 변위특성을 분석 및 평가하였다. 다이어프램 형상에 따라 정밀한 변위 세어가 가능했으며 0.05-0.08 %FS의 우수한 선형성을 나타내었다. 또한, 측정동안 접합계면 균열이나 계면분리가 일어나지 않았다. 따라서, MLCA/Si기판 양각접합기술은 고성능 압전 MEMS 소자 제작공정에 유용하게 사용가능할 것이다.

비행체 조종면에 작용하는 힌지 모멘트의 시험적 측정 방법 연구 (The Study on Experimental Measurement Method of Hinge Moment Acting on Control Surface of Air Vehicle)

  • 본 논문에서는 비행체 날개의 조종면에 작용하는 힌지 모멘트 분석을 위한 시험적 방법 및 결과를 수록하였다. 비행 공력 하중에 의하여 조종면에 힌지 모멘트가 작용할 경우, 조종면 구동장치에서 측정된 각도와 실제 조종면의 각도 사이에 탄성 변형에 의한 차이가 발생하며, 이 차이를 측정하여 힌지 모멘트로 환산할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 지상에서 조종면 구동장치 시스템의 비틀림 강성을 측정하기 위한 정하중 시험 및 조종면 각도 센서 교정시험을 수행하였다. 이 결과를 이용하여 비행 중 작용하는 힌지 모멘트를 계산할 수 있으며, 또한 체결부위의 미끄러짐 및 백래시 등의 기계적 오차도 예측할 수 있다. 실제 비행시험 결과를 이용하여 조종면에 작용한 힌지 모멘트를 계산한 결과와 수치 해석 결과의 비교를 통하여, 제시된 하중 측정 방법의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • In this paper a configuration of the load evaluation device for the tilting actuator using hydraulic power is presented, which makes it possible to measure the force action on the tilting actuator. It is possible to measure only current using the conventional electro-mechanical actuator when the bogie is in the process of the tilting. This makes impossible to measure the force acting on the tilting actuator. In order to overcome this problem a kinetic mechanism test system using hydraulic cylinder is proposed. The system are consisted of hydraulic cylinder for the tilting actuation, control system to control hydraulic power, sensors to measure for force and displacement and monitoring system for the user interface.

  • This paper presents the control law of Automatic Rudder Trim System(ARTS) for the KTX-1. The proposed ARTS is designed mainly t reduce the pilot's work load for trimming in the various conditiions of engine torque. airspeed, and aircraft configuration. The ARTS partially compensates the transient yawing motion due to change of engine power in turboprop aircraft because of the limitation of the actuation speed of the trim motor. In this paper flight test data are analyzed to understand the phenomena and the dynamics of the reversible rudder flight control system is derived. Finally, the control concept and conrtol law of ARTS are described and the characteristics of the ARTS are analyzed through simulation study.

차단기의 차단합성성대기적에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Adapting for Interrupting Capacity Augmentation of Circuit Breaker)

  • This paper proposes the adapter for interrupting capacity augmentation of circuit breaker which can be applied in case of shortage in a existing circuit breaker's interrupting capacity due to utility system extension. The adapter utilizes two winding type of reactor instead of single winding type of reactor and the control of 2ry circuit is excuted by a triac interlocked with the system protective relays actuation so as to cut out the reactor by short circuit of the 2ry winding in normal situation and to cut in the reactor by open circuit of the 2ry winding in abnomal situation such as short circuit accident. As a result of the theoritical analysis and experiment, it is proved that the adaptor can reduce the voltage crop and iron loss due to the reactor signigicantly in normal system condition and do a role of reactor upon the power system accident.

과구동 자기부상 무전원 트레이의 부상제어 전략 및 자세제어 알고리즘 (Control Strategy and Algorithm for Levitation of Over-actuated Passive Maglev Tray System)

  • This paper presents a strategy and an algorithm for levitation control of an over-actuated passive maglev tray system. The passive maglev tray system has more actuators than its degrees of freedom. The actuators of the system are switching when the tray travels longitudinally. Furthermore, the levitation forces of the actuators are non-homogeneous because the actuation devices are not in the moving platform. These characteristics make a limit in using conventional control approaches for levitation. For smooth actuator switching, the actuator force generation should be dependent on longitudinal positions of the tray. To enable constant pose tracking, this research introduces a control strategy and a control algorithm based on integral controllers on virtual variables. The states of the tray are estimated using a Kalman filter and fed to the proposed controller. The performances of the proposed control strategy and the algorithm are validated through tests.

  • This paper deals with an example of the engineering education through the SE-based development of an underwater-robot kit model. It has a purpose of establishing the example of a SE-based development by undergraduate through executing the requirement and functional analysis, hardware and software design, manufacturing, test and evaluation for developing the model. In addition, it also has a purpose of establishing the basis of the development of an optimized underwater-robot kit through understanding the weight and buoyancy characteristics and the actuation and propulsion characteristics of the developed model.

  • Damping piston with an orifice in the piston head is utilized to improve the damping characteristics of a pneumatic push-push type rotary actuator. Through linearized analysis, the optimum size of orifice, which gives maximum damping effect at the frequency where damping is desired. most, is predicted. The frequency response test of teal system were carried out to see the effects of damping piston and to obtain true optimum size of orifice by trying orifices of various size near the predicted value. During the tests, both air and helium were tried as working fluid, and a lag-lead compensation circuit was incorporated to improve system dynamics. The finally chosen orifice size is a little bigger than that predicted from analysis, however it gives high damping effects for the finally designed pneumatic system enough to have wide frequency response bandwidth.

힘 센서를 이용하지 않는 혼합형 햅틱 마스터 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Hybrid Haptic Master System Without Using a Force Sensor)

  • A hybrid type master system is proposed to take the advantage of the link mechanism and magnetic levitation mechanism without using a force sensor. Two different types of electromagnetic actuators, moving coil type and moving magnet types are used to drive the master system which is capable of 4-DOF actuation. It is designed that the rotation motions about x-y axis are decoupled and the whole system is represented by simple dynamic equations. The force reflection is achieved by using the simple relation between the force and applied current and position. The simulation and experimental results are presented to show its performance.

  • As the analysis and design technologies for electro-magnetic actuation has advanced over the years, proportional solenoid valve is gaining acceptance in wide range of industrial and commercial applications because of its superior characteristics over the conventional AOV or MOV, such as improved performance, reduced maintenance costs. This research deals with the position controller design of two-stage flow control solenoid valve. Investigation of steady-state characteristics and dynamic model identification for pilot disc is performed. Least square method to minimize the error magnitude of frequency response between the closed-loop and target system is applied to the design of PI-controller gains. From the experiments of step and frequency response, it is concluded that the controller meets the performance specification of target system, which verifies the usefulness of controller design method for proportional solenoid valve.
