주관적 과잉근로가 건강에 미치는 영향: 위험지각의 조절효과 (The Effect of Subjective Overwork on Health: Moderate Effect of Risk Perception)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of subjective overwork on health and the moderating effect of risk perception in the relationship between subjective overwork and health. The data used in this study are the fourth Korean Working Condition Survey (KWCS) conducted by Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) in 2014. The items related to actual working hours, subjective overwork, health, and risk perception were used. A total of 18,508 workers who are 1) waged workers, 2) work more than three days a week, 3) work more than 21 hours a week, 4) work longer than preferred work hours or work as longer as they desired were selected. Hierarchical regression analysis was performed to identify the effect of actual work hours, subjective overwork, prevalence of risk, lethalness of accident damage on health and to determine the moderating effects of prevalence of risk and lethalness of accident damage. As a result, actual work hours, subjective overwork, prevalence of risk, lethalness of accident damage had an effect on worker's health problems. Second, lethalness of accident damage had a moderating effect in the relationship between subjective overwork and health. These results suggest that organizations should manage worker's environmental factors and other threats that could increase the lethalness of accident damage.

도로제설 이력자료 기반 제설 인프라 분석 (Analysis of Road Snow-removal Infrastructure using Road Snow-removal Historical Data)

  • PURPOSES : In this study, systematic road snow-removal capabilities were estimated based on previous historical data for road-snowremoval works. The final results can be used to aid decision-making strategies for cost-effective snow-removal works by regional offices. METHODS : First, road snow-removal historical data from the road snow-removal management system (RSMS), operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, were employed to determine specific characteristics of the snow-removal capabilities by region. The actual owned amount and actual used amount of infrastructure were analyzed for the past three years. Second, the regional offices were classified using K-means clustering into groups "close" to one another. Actual used snow-removal infrastructure was determined from the number of snow-removal working days. Finally, the correlation between the de-icing materials used and infrastructure was analyzed. Significant differences were found among the amounts of used infrastructure depending on snowfall intensity for each regional office during the past three years. RESULTS:The results showed that the amount of snow-removal infrastructure used for low heavy-snowfall intensity did not appear to depend on the amount of heavy snowfall, and therefore, high variation is observed in each area. CONCLUSIONS:This implies that the final analysis results will be useful when making decisions on snow-removal works.

롤러기 재해분석 및 사용실태 조사 (Accident Analysis and Usage Actual Condition about Roller)

  • The purpose of this study is to try to find the risk of roller(mixing mill) in working site. In order to achieve the purpose, accident analysis and survey was carried out. This analysis revealed that average of loss days is 334.3 by roller jamming accident and 229.2 by other causes. It means jamming accident entails serious bodily harm. According to our research, we realize that most of rollers have some risk of the jamming accidents. It is simply because the roll gap in the roller is not more than 10cm. It also does not meet minimum distance so as to avoid the risk for jamming accident by KS. Furthermore, 28% of rollers have only one switch and 40% of rollers have two switches operating emergence stop equipment so as to reduce the risk of jamming accidents. Therefore, we presume that it is very difficult to turn on the switch of emergence stop equipment when they confront the accident because most of engineers are working alone.

  • 경찰에게 과학수사는 수사, 형사, 조사 등 범죄수사의 여러 분야에 도구로서 활용 인식되어 왔기 때문에 지금까지 필요함에도 불구하고 중심적인 역할과 위치를 차지하지 못한 것이 사실이다. 이에 본 연구는 경찰의 과학수사 활동에 대한 중요성을 인식하고, 현재 과학수사에 있어서 관련 현황과 과학수사를 위한 지원수준을 살펴보고 문제점을 검토하였다. 이를 토대로 현실적 한계 속에서 어떠한 방식으로 과학수사 활동의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있을 것인가를 모색하기 위해 근무제도의 발전방안을 논의하고자 하였다. 현재 경찰의 과학수사 활동이 직면하고 있는 문제점으로는 무엇보다 검거중심의 인력 운영에 따른 만성적인 인력부족 현상이었다. 이에 현실적인 제약 내에서 과학수사요원의 활동을 효율적으로 변화시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 첫째, 근무체제의 변화가 필요하며, 중 장기적인 관점에서 지휘체제의 개편으로 광역 과학수사체제의 시행이 필요하다. 둘째, 과학수사의 전문성을 확보할 수 있도록 과학수사 경과의 신설이다. 셋째, 과학수사 특기제도가 개선되어야 한다. 넷째, 과학수사의 역량 강화를 위하여 R&D 조직이 구축되어야 할 것이다.

일 대학부속 한방병원 간호사의 직무내용 및 직무량분석 (An Analysis of Nursing Practice in an Oriental Medicine Hospital)

  • This study was directed at analysing nursing practice in one oriental medicine hospital. In this study, the nurses were chosen from two units at one oriental medicine hospital. Using the worksampling method, a total of 780 series of nursing actions were collected over thirteen days. this study had two findings. First, the percentage for the amount of actual nursing practice was 79.5% which is lower than the amount of actual nursing practice in other western style general hospitals. Second, the content of nursing practice included nursing actions(43.8%), nursing management (35.5%), and education /research (0.1%), indicating that only the special care of oriental nursing and education /research were not observed in nursing practice. These findings indicate a deficit knowledge in oriental medicine and oriental nursing care by nurses in oriental medicine hospitals. Since Oriental Nursing has not been included in Nursing curriculum, there is a need for research to develop basic education in Oriental Medicine and pharmacology as well as the development of a sgstematized approach to Oriental Nursing so as to provide an appropriate background for nurses working in this field. Further research is needed to define nursing in the Oriental Medicine system.

수경재배(水耕栽培)의 양액관리(養液管理) 자동화(自動化) 시스템 개발(開發) (Development of Nutrient Solution Control System for Water Culture)

  • The objective of this study was to develop automatic systems of nutrient solution management for optimal nutrient solution environment and labor saving in water culture which enables factory crop production. In this study, an automatic control system and its driving program are developed to prepare, supply, and recover nutrient solution and to keep the optimal solution concentration level using microcomputers. Based on this study, the following conclusions are obtained: 1. The concentration measured by the system using oscillating circuit designed and built in this study, gave good agreements with the actual nutrient solution. 2. In water culture, the period of 12 hours for measuring concentration, pH, and temperature of the nutrient solution was optimum. Addition of control solution due to the decrease of the nutrient solution concentration is required in every 3 to 5 days. 3. It is estimated that the period of the whole solution change is 15 days, however, further research is needed to assure it. In addition, this period must be shortened in the future. 4. Both the hardware and software of the developed optimal nutrient solution control system in the water culture are working very well, however, it is necessary to develop a more economical one-chip micro controller to substitute for the microcomputer.

여가행동에 관한 이론적 고찰 (A Theoretical Review for Leisure Behavior)

  • In korea, it has been recently issued to enforce the 5 days-working system, which may cause the considerable increase in the leisure time and lifestyles. The purpose of this study is to find out major characteristics of leisure to establish the theoretical framework for leisure behavior by considering various theories. Each of theories provides the frame of thinking for leisure tim use, the relationship with labor, the transmission of leisure type and the change of leisure value and consciousness. Therefore findings will be the foundation for the future study that finds out more actual factors. Having examined how the leisure behavior is interpreted in various theories will help us to better understand why the demand for leisure time and activities has developed and will develope rapidly.

  • In these days many large scale plants are attempting to use the Virtual Reality technology in the process analysis. Their goal is to reduce the development time by more effective information management as Simultaneous Engineering point of view, and by connecting the CAD datum and all kinds of products information. Generally, it is taken for granted that when a plant is equipped with a Virtual Reality technology, they are able to review the design and analyze the engineering performance of the product before actually building it, so that their goal to reduce costs and enhance the initial quality can be achieved. [1][2] In this paper we will look into the application the virtual reality technology Hadong fossil power plant. And we will also define the concepts of virtual plant by summarizing requirements and thoughts from the people who are in working in the actual site.

방송 제작 특성에 기반한 유해위험요인 분석 (A Study on the Risk Factors at the Broadcasting Production Site)

  • Due to various industrial accident that occur to the staff in the broadcasting production sites, the issue of safety at the broadcast production site is becoming a social issue. Nevertheless, not many researches have been carried out on the actual conditions of the staff's production environment and its safety issues. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to prepare a countermeasure based on engineering knowledge by analyzing working environment to improve the poor working environment of staff. First, this study analyzed statistical data of industrial accidents over the past five years to find out the current status of disasters at broadcasting production sites. As a result, the intensity of the accident was not weak in that the loss days was more than one month in 85% of accident. In addition, the type of accident was high in the fall/trip accidents. Second, this study visited 10 broadcasting production sites for risk assessment. By analyzing the characteristics of the working environment and 104 questionnaires, we predicted the types of accidents that can occur in the broadcasting production site. As a result, accident types such as fall, collision, and trip were relatively high, similar to the characteristics of construction site. Third, it was possible to quantify the scale of the risk in the broadcasting production, and as a result, the quantity of temporary structure and accident risk were proportional. In other words, this study analyzes broadcasting work environment and defines risk factors based on safety engineering knowledge. Finally, this study suggested a guideline to improve the safety of the broadcasting production site.

근로자의 주 40시간 근무제 시행 유무에 따른 여가자원 이용 및 여가활동 비교분석: 2012년 국민여가활동 조사 결과를 기초로 (Comparative Analysis of the Use of Leisure Resources and Leisure Activity According to the Execution of Forty-hour-a-week Working System: Based on 2012 Survey on National Leisure Activity)

  • From the perspective of labor welfare, forty-hour-a-week working system:(FWS) has been an important goal throughout world, and in fact, advanced countries implemented this a long time ago. However, there are differences in opinions concerning FWS; some people emphasizes the improvement in life quality, while others point out that this measure increases the cost of wages and has limited effectiveness. Thus, discussions about the success of FWS have emerged from diverse perspectives; One thing that should be made clear before debating FWS is that reducing laborers' working hours is already a global trend, and Korea, also intends to extend it. Therefore, in order to maximize the benefits resulting from the execution of the system and to identify measures that can be used to solve the problems related to FWS, it is necessary to consider actual laborers' use of leisure resources and whether they have increased or decreased as a result of FWS. It is also necessary to look at the differences in workers' leisure activity with and without the system. To evaluate and diagnose FWS's political effect from the perspective of laborers' leisure satisfaction and improvements in life quality, this study examines differences in leisure expenses, leisure hours, use of and demand for leisure resources such as leisure space, and types of leisure activity, according to the execution of FWS, This research is based on the "2012 Survey on National Leisure Activity" conducted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In addition, through analysis of the differences in leisure satisfaction and happiness levels, the study intends to confirm the necessity of executing FWS and ensuring that the system is in use. The study results can be briefly summed up as followa:: First, regarding the general findings of the study, a significant result was shown in terms of the execution of FWS according to income level. The finding that the execution of FWS works differently according to the working environment or life quality reassures us of the common notion in society that working environment or life quality may differ in relation to social characteristics. The utility of weekday leisure hours did not indicate a statistically significant difference, but in terms of weekend leisure hours, laborers practicing FWS had an additional 30 minutes of leisure time than those who did not. Furthermore, regarding leisure expenses, laborers practicing FWS indicated more monthly average leisure expenses or expected leisure expenses. In relation to leisure activity, those working at a company executing FWS engaged in culture and art activities more frequently than those working at the companies that did not. On the other hand, those working at companies without FWS indicated more hobbies, amusement activities, rest, and other activities than those working at the companies with FWS. In terms of vacation experience, those working at companies with FWS had more vacation time than those working at companies without it; on average, they had longer vacations by 1.64 days. Regarding their leisure life satisfaction and happiness level, those working at companies with FWS indicated higher satisfaction and greater happiness than those working at companies without it. The findings mentioned above represent the preliminary results of this paper, and the remainder of the research will provide more detailed analysis results and suggestions corresponding to them.
