연구의 목적은 지구과학교육의 주요한 대상인 자연이 가지고 있는 특성으로, 그것의 외재적 유용성인 도구적 가치를 넘어선, 그 자체의 내재적 가치에 어떻게 접근하는가를 탐색하는 것이다. 무엇보다도 심리적 요소들이 포함된 실험 전체 전이과정에서 활동적 고유한 가치(Activity-based inherent value) 라고 하였다. 환경윤리의 핵심에는 가치, 그리고 무엇이 지속할 만한 가치가 있는지에 대한 공리적 질문이다. 그것은 단순히 지속을 넘어선 문제이다. 그 해답은 지속적인 자연환경의 가치로, 내재적인 가치, 즉 생명 애호가로서 유산가치(Leopold의 생명공동체의 건강함을 표현하는, 통일성, 안전성, 아름다움 등) 로, 특히 아름다움을 보전해야 하는 교육이다. 나아가 내재적 가치 대신 지속 가능한 가치로 가치평가 영역을 공시적 차원에서 통시적 차원인 윤리적 가치로 격상시켜야한다. 환경윤리학에서는 지식 자체의 아름다움을 보여주는 내재적 가치를 유산가치(bequest value)라고 한다. 연구는, 기존의 경험을 무시하는 선험적인 내재적 가치와, 경험 중심의 활동 중심적 고유한 가치를 구분하였다. 또한 지구과학교육에서 과학적 실험으로, Eratosthenes의 지구크기측정 실험으로 활동 중심의 고유한 가치원리를 탐색하였다. 과학적 세계관에 따른 가치원리는 가치판단의 근거가 된다. 무엇보다도 실험결과를 추론하는 과정에서 미적 가치가 개입되는 실험의 활동적 가치 체험을 통하여, 내재적 가치가 발현되고 있었다. 교육적 시사점으로 우리가 지속가능한 사회와 자연을 만들어가는 근간이 되는 도구적 가치보다는 고유한 가치를 내면적으로 전이 될 수 있도록 돕는 가치-교육이 되어야한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate intrinsic values with respect to the nature of aim from the viewpoint of Dewey. The intrinsic values have been recognized as values independent of activities or the content that preexist before embodied into activities. But from the perspective of Dewey, intrinsic values can be revealed only through the activity. Because they are inherent in the activities. Dewey suggested that the educational aim that is influenced by the traditional metaphysics should be meaningless in that it is given from outside and not related to human activities. The educational purpose that influenced by modern metaphysics and contemporary theories also can be regarded external, because the content and value of learning are assumed ahead activities. In the view of Dewey, the concepts of values are exposed through activities, so they can not exist independently. According to his own metaphysics that organism and its environment interact each other, all values c an be formed only in the course of activities. Thus, the intrinsic value of Dewey is a process per se, as the intrinsic value cannot be assumed ahead activities but can be exposed through activities. Bringing meaning to life through experience is Dewey's concept of growth as an educational aim. Education under such a purpose, would give the foundation to cultivate talent who are creative, proactive and communicate with their neighbors as a member of a democratic society.

Everyone lives in a home. We pursue happiness and the meaning of life through home life or family life. Home life, therefore, has an important meaning in the whole life, But home life can be sustained only through housework and wage labor. All human activities can be divided into two kinds of activities. The one has intrinsic value, the other has extrinsic value. Housework belongs to the activity with intrinsic value, but wage labor belongs to the activity with extrinsic value. In view of home life, housework has primary meaning, and wage labor has subsidiary meaning. In other words, wage labor is only means of home life. We mush not forget that important fact. But we cannot help thinking that nowadays people consider wage labor itself as an aim of life. It is said that we are achieving self-actualization through wage labor, but it is not ture. To tell the truth, most of us are experiencing self-alienation in job. We must recover the legitimate relation between housework and wage labor. Wage labor is means of home life, therefore it is on the extension line of housework. If we achieve happiness through home life, we must recognize that wage labor is only means of home life, not an end in itself.

The purposes of this study were to compare abductor hallucis (AbdH) muscle activity during toe curl exercise according to position of interphalangeal joint (IPJ). Fifteen healthy subjects with neutral foot were recruit for this study. All subjects performed toe curl exercise with towel while maintaining the IPJ in flexion (condition 1) and extension (condition 2). Toe curl exercise with towel was perform three trials for five second periods in each condition. Surface electromyography (EMG) activities were recorded from three muscles (AbdH, tibialis anterior, peroneous longus) in each condition. EMG activity was normalized to the value of maximal voluntary isometric contraction (%MVIC). The EMG activities acoording to position of IPJ were compared using a paired t-test. This study showed that the EMG activity of AbdH during toe curl exercise with IPJ extension significantly increased compared to those during toe curl exercise with IPJ flexion (p<.05). However, the EMG activity of tibialis anterior and peroneus longus were not significantly different between the conditions (p>.05). These results suggest that toe curl exercise with towel must be performed with extension of IPJ in order to strengthen intrinsic muscle in subjects with overuse injuries related to excessive pronation.

본 연구는 가치기반판매의 영업프로세스에서 영업의 성공적인 전개를 위해 필요한 영업활동 프레임워크를 제시하고 성공적 가치기반판매를 위한 개별 영업활동의 탐색을 목적으로 한다. 가치기반판매를 영업프로세스에서 절차적 진행으로 이해하며, 이를 영업활동 프레임워크에 통합하고, 영업활동을 세분화하여 성공적 수행을 위한 주요 활동 요소를 파악한다면 가치기반판매 본연의 효과를 나타낼 수 있다. 가치기반판매의 성공에 관계하는 영업활동을 문헌연구와 적용 사례의 실증을 통해 영업프로세스에 기반하여 영업활동 프레임워크에 반영하고, 성공적 전개를 위한 개별 영업활동의 세부요소를 사례연구를 통해 파악한다. 문헌연구와 현장 영업 실무를 통해 다섯 단계의 영업프로세스에서 13가지 영업활동을 제시하며, 사례연구를 통해 성공적인 가치기반판매를 위한 총 42개의 세부 영업활동을 향상된 영업활동 프레임워크에서 파악한다. 이 연구를 통하여 영업프로세스에서 가치기반판매의 영업 기능이 올바른 활동으로 수행되고 있는지, 그리고 특정 고객과의 영업 기회가 가치 기반 영업활동을 계속할 수 있는지 여부를 평가할 수 있는 역할을 영업활동 프레임워크를 통해 제공한다. 영업활동 프레임워크는 성공적인 가치기반판매를 위한 지침 역할을 한다.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: In this study, the apoptogenic activity and mechanisms of cell death induced by hexane extract of aged black garlic (HEABG) were investigated in human leukemic U937 cells. MATERIALS/METHODS: Cytotoxicity was evaluated by MTT (3-(4, 5-dimethyl-thiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyl tetrazoliumbromide) assay. Apoptosis was detected using 4,6-diamidino-2-phenyllindile (DAPI) staining, agarose gel electrophoresis and flow cytometry. The protein levels were determined by Western blot analysis. Caspase activity was measured using a colorimetric assay. RESULTS: Exposure to HEABG was found to result in a concentration- and time-dependent growth inhibition by induction of apoptosis, which was associated with an up-regulation of death receptor 4 and Fas legend, and an increase in the ratio of Bax/Bcl-2 protein expression. Apoptosis-inducing concentrations of HEABG induced the activation of caspase-9, an initiator caspase of the mitochodrial mediated intrinsic pathway, and caspase-3, accompanied by proteolytic degradation of poly(ADP-ribose)-polymerase. HEABG also induced apoptosis via a death receptor mediated extrinsic pathway by caspase-8 activation, resulting in the truncation of Bid, and suggesting the existence of cross-talk between the extrinsic and intrinsic pathways. However, pre-treatment of U937 cells with the caspase-3 inhibitor, z-DEVD-fmk, significantly blocked the HEABG-induced apoptosis of these cells, and increased the survival rate of HEABG-treated cells, confirming that HEABG-induced apoptosis is mediated through activation of caspase cascade. CONCLUSIONS: Based on the overall results, we suggest that HEABG reduces leukemic cell growth by inducing caspase-dependent apoptosis through both intrinsic and extrinsic pathways, implying its potential therapeutic value in the treatment of leukemia.

Sarcodon aspratus (Thelepholaceae), a native mushroom, is distributed in Korea and Japan, and has been widely used in traditional food and fork medicines. To confirm the biological activities of Sarcodon aspratus, the liver protecting activity, anti-clotting activity, and anti-complementary activity of the water extract, EtOH extract, and the water soluble proteoglycan part of S. aspratus were investigated. The EtOH, and water extract of S. aspratus decreased the GOT and GPT releases induced by $CCl_4$ in a dose-dependant manner. On the other hand, the water soluble proteoglycan part of S. aspratus showed weak inhibitory activity. In addition, the EtOH and water extract of S. aspratus prevented $CCl_4-induced$ hepatotoxicity, as described by a liver histopathologic study. To confirm the anti-clotting activity, the APTT and PT assay were carried out. As a result, only the crude proteoglycan part of S. aspratus showed the anti-coagulating activity, and this result might be due to the inhibition of intrinsic clotting system. Also, the crude proteoglycan part of S. aspratus showed the anti-complementary activity, and the $IC_{50}$ value was $50\;{\mu}l/ml$.

This study would prove the logic that business practice CSR has a positive impact on efficient product value while philanthropic CSR has a positive impact on socio-ethical product value to promote product purchase intention. It would also test the mediating role of efficient product value and socio-ethical product value. Methods: AMOS 22.0 was used to analyze the structural equation model in this work, and the hypotheses were tested after setting the impact of corporate variables on intrinsic variables additionally. Results: This study conducted research that has not been attempted in the preceding studies, classifying CSR into business practice CSR activities related to economic, legal, and ethical responsibilities and philanthropic CSR activities related to the contribution to the community, the connection of donation and business, company-wide philanthropy, and appropriate donation performance. Conclusion: This study would prove the logic that business practice CSR has a positive impact on efficient product value while philanthropic CSR has a positive impact on socio-ethical product value to promote product purchase intention, and evaluating the mediating role of efficient product value and socio-ethical product value, thus providing implications from a new perspective that has not been explored in previous marketing studies.

항만은 단순히 화물을 적재하고 하역하는 것뿐만 아니라 전 세계적 생산 네트워크 및 복잡한 공급망 내에서 중요한 역할을 하는 허브로 발전해 왔다. 항만은 지역적 수준에서 국가적 수준에 이르기까지 다양한 부가가치 생산 및 고용 창출에 기여하고 있으며, 이러한 점은 항만 및 항만 이해관계자에게 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 회귀모델을 활용하여 부가가치 및 고용수치에 대한 정보가 미비한 이탈리아 내 항만 17곳의 부가가치 및 고용효과를 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 이탈리아 항만 시스템 개선의 측면에서, 본 연구는 해당 항만들의 효과와 지역경제 내에서의 역할을 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하여 해당 항만의 정책 입안자들이 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구에서는 모든 이탈리아 항만들이 지역 경제에 간접적 효과보다는 직접적 효과에 더 영향을 받는 것으로 조사되었으며, 대형 항만에서는 더 큰 사회경제적 효과가 발생하는 것으로 분석되었다.

The autoregressive method provides a univariate procedure to predict the future sunspot number (SSN) based on past record. The strength of this method lies in the possibility that from past data it yields the SSN in the future as a function of time. On the other hand, its major limitation comes from the intrinsic complexity of solar magnetic activity that may deviate from the linear stationary process assumption that is the basis of the autoregressive model. By analyzing the residual errors produced by the method, we have obtained the following conclusions: (1) the optimal duration of the past time for the forecast is found to be 8.5 years; (2) the standard error increases with prediction horizon and the errors are mostly systematic ones resulting from the incompleteness of the autoregressive model; (3) there is a tendency that the predicted value is underestimated in the activity rising phase, while it is overestimated in the declining phase; (5) the model prediction of a new Solar Cycle is fairly good when it is similar to the previous one, but is bad when the new cycle is much different from the previous one; (6) a reasonably good prediction of a new cycle can be made using the AR model 1.5 years after the start of the cycle. In addition, we predict the next cycle (Solar Cycle 25) will reach the peak in 2024 at the activity level similar to the current cycle.
