This study attempts to predict nurses'clinical performance from entrance examination of university and college achievements after graduation. This is based upon a survey study, 49 nurses in Yon Sei Medical Center after graduation of college of nursing. Correlation of college achievements, clinical performance and variables of nurses'clinical performance are produced using Pearson's Product moment correlation coefficient significance of correlation tested by T- test. The result of the study were as follows; 1. Clinical performance of the college achievements is the best efficient variables in predicting the nurses'clinical performance after graduation and next theory scholastic total achievements and entrance examination the last. 2. There are significant correlation among nurses'clinical performance rating variables as nursing ethics, nursing skills, achievements, attitude, the state of health.

The Purposes of This Study is to investigate the relationships among Multiple Intelligence(MI). Creativity and Home Economics achievements of the middle & high school students. The research of this study are performed as follows Subject of this study were 142 middle school student & 127 girls' high school. And The “Creativity Test” developed by Korean Creativity Research Institute(1998). Multiple Developmental Assesment scale were administrated as data gathering tools And end-term exam scores on 9 subject were collected as the measure of academic achievement. Especially the Home Economics achievement were collected with Written test and performance assesment. The data were analysed by pearson's correlation. The findings of this study were as follows: 1) A statistically significant correlation among the MI and Home Economics achievements in middle school students(linguistic, Logical-mathematical. Musical. Interpersonal, Intrapersonal) and high school students(linguistic, Logical-mathematical, Interpersonal) were found. But There were not statistical difference between another 8 subjects. 2) In middle school students. a statistically significant correlation among the creativity and Home Economics achievements were found But in high school students, statistically significant correlation among the creativity and Home Economics achievements were not found 3) In MI and Home Economics achievements correlation. there were not difference between written test and performance assesment.

The purposel of this study was to examine the effects which the direct and the indirect instructions at a Home Economics class have on improving the learning achievements and attitudes. To accomplish these goals. 90 students. the number of two classes of the first tirade at p high school at Anyang city of Kyonggi province were selected. They are composed of the experimental group and the comparative group. Each group contained 40 students. The former was implemented by indirect instructions and the latter direct instructions. The 'Family and Domestic Life' unit of the first tirade was selected as the study subject to take effects and 30 periods of class were enforced. For the experimental measure of this study. the researcher used a pre-learning test. a learning attitude test. and a learning achievement test as means of measure. The two groups were confirmed as the group having the same quality, So after the experimental measure, the results of the post tests(included a learning achievement test and a learning attitude test) were verified by T-test in order to research the problematic subject. and SPSS/win statistics package was used for the processing of the statistics. The results are following: 1. The direct and the indirect instructions represented the meaningful differences in the learning achievements (p <.05). They represented the meaningful differences in improving the learning achievements of knowledge and understanding(p <.05). It was verified that the (order is more effective than the latter in improving the learning achievements of knowledge and understanding, and They represented the meaningful differences in the improving learning achievements of application (p <.05) 2. They represented the meaningful differences in the learning attitudes at a domestic class(p <.05) The latter is more effective than the former in changing into the positive learning attitudes. In the light of these result7. the direct instructions are effective in improving the learning achievements of knowledge and understanding. and the indirect instructions are effective in improving the learning achievements of application. Also the indirect instructions are more effective than the direct instructions in changing into the positive learning attitude.

This study explored the elements that affect team achievements in virtual environments. In this study, consideration was given to the role of group dynamics in facilitating productive interaction. We aspired to reveal the mechanisms of group dynamics and examined how group dynamics affected team achievements in virtual environments. The empirical study was performed with undergraduate students enrolled in an e-learning course. In collaboration with other majors, students executed team projects and managed project issues in forums or chat rooms. The results of the empirical study indicated that leadership, creative friction, and group cohesion (components of group dynamics) had positive relationships with team achievements. The findings confirmed that addressing creative conflict is a method to improve team performance and that leadership is a key factor in project teams.

In this paper, we study the influence analysis of admission variables including their characteristics on academic achievements of freshmen at K university in Busan. First, multiple regression analysis is used to examine the main effects of admission variables including students' characteristics on the academic achievements. Also, Decision tree analysis is used to examine the interaction effects for the admission variables on the academic achievements. The results of this paper may be helpful to K university in designing effective admissions strategies for recruiting students.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of inferential reading strategy program on text comprehension and Korean language academic achievements of vocational high school students. We developed the program of inferential reading strategy, applied it to an educational spot, and examined the effects of it on text comprehension ability and Korean language academic achievements of learners. ANCOVA was used for data analysis with SPSS ver.12.0 statistic program. The main findings of this study were as follows. First, the experimental group which had been conducted with the inferential reading strategy program showed statistically significant difference in their text comprehension ability from controlled group. Second, the experimental group showed statistically significant difference in their Korean language academic achievements ability from controlled group. The study shows that the inferential reading strategy program had effect on the text comprehension and Korean language academic achievements of vocational high school students.

The purpose of this study is to plan and apply the problem posing program to each unit of elementary mathematics 5-Ga stage, and to make an analysis of their effects on mathematics learning achievements, attitude and interesting. In order to achieve these purposes, the following research problems were set up for the present study: First, we design problem posing program which can be applied to the actual instruction with analyzing the curriculum of mathematics on 5-Ga stage in the seventh national curriculum. Second, we analyze the effect of applying problem posing program on students' mathematics learning achievements. Third, we analyze the effect of applying problem posing program on students' mathematical attitude and interest. The results of this study are as follows: First, the problem posing program developed in this study was more affirmative effects for improving the students' mathematics learning achievements. Second, the problem posing program also had affirmative effects on students' attitude and interest on mathematics. Third, after applying the problem posing program turned out to have a statistical significant correlation between mathematics learning achievements and attitude, and mathematics learning achievements and interest.

The present study was carried out for the period from July 14 through September 13, 1975 by means of questionnaire distributed to 300 nursing students whose extent of satisfaction is known to be relatively low compared with other students of the different course of study by applying the perceptual orientation scale based on the principle defining that the effectiveness in maintaining helpful relation with others in human society depends upon the perception possessed by individuals, The present study was intended to investigate the effectiveness of nursing profession for nursing students of the 4- year system and 3- year system nursing school and relationship between perceptual orientation and clinical achievements, thereby, attempting more efficient application of the perceptual orientation scale. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. There was observed no significant difference in perceptual orientation between the nursing students of the 4- year system and 3- year system nursing schools. 2. There was observed significant correlation between the perceptual orientation and clinical achievements of the nursing students. 3. In the comparison of the perceptual orientation Point and mean value by school significant difference was observed between schools other than B and C schools of the 4 - year system. 4. Marked correlation was observed between the perceptual orientation and clinical achievements of the students of 4 - year system nursing courses. 5. Low correlation was observed between the perceptual orientation and clinical achievements of the students of the 3- year system nursing school.

In this paper, we analyzed the freshmen's achievements on general mathematics their GPA based on 'basic mathematics diagonal test score'. Also, we studied the achievements of students who were not passed the 'Basic Mathematics Diagonal Test (BMDT)' and had to take supplementary lessons to improve their mathematics abilities four times a week during the first semester of academic year 2008 in Mokpo National University. Before taking college entrance exam, high school students had to choose two types of scholastic area. One is on 'Ga' or 'Na' in mathematics and the other is on Natural Science or Social Science. According to the types, we classified the freshman-Ga or Na and NS or SS. We found some facts. First, a few of Ga and NS freshmen had low score on the BMDT. Second, Na and NS freshman got higher score than Na and SS freshmen on the BMDT. Third, Ga and NS freshmen who passed the BMDT got higher score on the general mathematics than those who failed the BMDT. Finally, there are correlations between achievements of general mathematics and a curriculum of freshmen who were passed test after taking supplementary lessons.

OObjectives : This paper aims to document the journal's history by researching academic achievements of a retiring faculty member and his contribution to the academy. Methods : To expand the boundaries of medical humanities and sociology within the Colleges of Korean Medicine, the methodology for taking oral history was followed in investigating the faculty member's scholarly and academic achievements, which will contribute to the preservation of the academy's history for years to come. Results : Yoon taught subjects such as Medical Chinese, Medical Classics, Classical Chinese, Reading Classical Texts, Medical Philosophy, Medical I-Ching at the University, while vigorously studying basic Korean Medical fields such as the Huangdineijing and the Five Circuits and Six Qi Theory. He also pushed for international communication and implemented the overseas studying program for students and faculty. At the academy, he stabilized the organization's finances, strengthened the journal's status, and built the foundation for the standardization of Medical Classics education by publishing a common textbook. Conclusions : Yoon's various achievements were made possible by other members of the organization, which was in reciprocation to Yoon's effort to bring the members together to form cooperative relationships.
