Absolute position detector which is one of the major equipment in the field of factory automation, not only perceives the absolute position of the rotary machine but also outputs switch data according to the given angle. Absolute position detector is composed of sensor module and its controller. In this paper, a sensor driver is implemented using FPGA with VHDL. This chip has a less form factor than conventional circuit. A test shows reliable precision within THD(total harmonic distortion) of 0.2% which can be applicable commercially. Also, FPGA-based phase error compensation methods were newly discussed. In the future, more research will be conducted to enhance the precision by the introduction of 3-phase transformer.
The objective of this study is to investigate hwnan operator's perceptual and psychophysical responses to vibrotactile stimulation on various parts of the hand. Using a small vibrotactile display, five different loci of the hand along with two other mechanical parameters consisting vibrotactile stimulations, which are vibration frequency and number of active contactors, were examined for the effects on absolute thresholds. All test variables were found to have significant effects on thresholds. It was observed that absolute threshold is a function of vibration frequency and number of active contactors. Tactile sensitivity was the greatest at the vibration frequency of 240 Hz, and the fingertip was found to be the most sensitive locus on the hand. The area of stimulation on the hand was also found to be significant in that the sensitivity increased with the number of active contactors. The results of the study generally supported those of other previous studies. It should also be noted, however, that the conclusions from the study should be limited to the absolute sensitivity, not to the suprathreshold intensities of normal everyday contact with the hands.

We have extended an absolute evaluation method to obtain the ratio error and phase displacement of a current transformer (CT) up to primary current of 40,000 A by measuring four parameters of equivalent circuit in CT. The method was applied to CTs under test with the current ratios in the range of 5,000 A / 5 A - 40,000 A / 5 A. The ratio error and phase displacement of the CTs under test obtained in this study are consistent with those measured at the national institutes in Canada and Germany using the same CTs under test within an expanded uncertainty (k = 2) in the overall current ratios.

The flatness of a reference flat plays an important role, from the calibration of an interferometer to the reference for a semiconductor or flat-panel display, etc. Especially if we order the flatness measurement outside Korea, we may spend more time and money. In this paper, we measured the flatness of a reference flat using a three-flat test, which is one of the absolute measurement methods, and calculated its measurement uncertainty. In the three-flat test we adopted, each flat is tested against another flat, with three unknown flats, using an interferometer. Among several three-flat tests, we adopted Griesmann's method which has a low measurement uncertainty and is less dependent on the experimental equipment. As a result, the measurement uncertainty was found to be less than 0.5 nm rms, which is very accurate for high-tech industrial applications.
Objective Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is distinct from anxiety disorders in its etiology and clinical symptomatology, and was reclassified into trauma- and stressor-related disorders in DSM-5. This study aimed to find neurophysiological correlates differentiating PTSD from anxiety disorders using resting-state quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG). Methods Thirty-six patients with either PTSD or acute stress disorder and 79 patients with anxiety disorder were included in the analysis. qEEG data of absolute and relative powers and patients' medication status on the day of qEEG examination were obtained. Electrodes were grouped into frontal, central, and posterior regions to analyze for regional differences. General linear models were utilized to test for group differences in absolute and relative powers while controlling for medications. Results PTSD patients differed from those with anxiety disorders in overall absolute powers [F(5,327)=2.601, p=0.025]. Specifically, overall absolute delta powers [F(1,331)=4.363, p=0.037], and overall relative gamma powers [F(1,331)=3.965, p=0.047] were increased in PTSD group compared to anxiety disorder group. Post hoc analysis regarding brain regions showed that the increase in absolute delta powers were localized to the posterior region [F(1,107)=4.001, p=0.048]. Additionally, frontal absolute gamma powers [F(1,107)=4.138, p=0.044] were increased in PTSD group compared to anxiety disorder group. Conclusion Our study suggests increased overall absolute delta powers and relative gamma powers as potential markers that could differentiate PTSD from anxiety disorders. Moreover, increased frontal absolute gamma and posterior delta powers might pose as novel markers of PTSD, which may reflect its distinct symptomatology.
In recently, IMO consider including an marine casualty factor when Port State Control Inspection evaluate.. This paper proposes an evaluation to Target Factor Values of Port State Control Inspections(PSCITFV) using absolute measurement. To this solve, therefore, this paper used the absolute measurement which is informed compensate the defect and the more rational and objective methode, checked the effectiveness to compare an result with absolute measurement and PSCITFV of Tokyo MOU using Wilcoxson test. Finally, rate change of PSC was investigated by an experiment which changed the values of evaluation factors. As a result, it was evaluation factors of high rate change that was detention, ship's age, casualty factors. Therefore, this factors have to a priority management to do for prevent of PSC.

In eddy current testing(ECT), differential probes have been frequently used since they .an reduce the number of parameters that influence ECT signals. However, differential signal is actually the difference of the two coils' impedance so that signal prediction and interpretation are not easy, On the other hand, absolute coil signal is rather straightforward to predict and analyze. Therefore, combined use of the two types of signals would increase the test reliability. In this paper, absolute coil signals from Inconel plate and tubes are predicted by the finite element analysis and efforts of lift-off, fill-factor, conductivity, operating frequency, test specimen thickness, inner diameter defects, and outer diameter defects are investigated. As a result, various impedance plane diagrams are drawn and analyzed. Significant practical knowldege about absolute signals is accumulated and similar characteristics of the two types of signal could be understood. Finally, slope angle versus defect depth calibration corves are prepared for three different frequencies.
This study was conducted to investigate the chemical composition of essential oil, absolute and oleoresin isolated from Elsholtzia splendens and their biological activities. Yields of essential oil, absolute and oleoresin extracted from Elsholtzia splendens were 0.28%, 12.45% and 9.95%, respectively. The major component was 2-cyclohexen-1-one in essential oil, methyl linolenate in absolute and 9,12,15-octadecatrienoic acid in oleoresin. Essential oil and oleoresin showed the inhibitory activities in enzyme-dependent, enzyme-independent and autooxidative lipid peroxidation system. $EC_{50}$ values in nuetral red uptake (NRU) assays for the exposure times of 24 h were $46.4{\mu}g/ml$, $681.7{\mu}g/ml$ and $17.6{\mu}g/ml$ in essential oil, absolute and oleoresin, and oleoresins showed the cytotoxic effect at the only high dose. Any mutagenic and antibiotic activity did not show in absolute and oleoresin, but, there were mutagenic and antibiotic activities only when treated with essential oil $500{\mu}g/ml$ above in Ames test. Essential oil and oleoresin might be somewhat effective in prolongating the ciliostasis of rat trachea.

We have developed a current range extension method to obtain the ratio error and phase displacement of a current transformer (CT) by using absolute evaluation method and two different CTs. The method was applied to CTs under test with the current ratios of the range of 5,000 A / 1 A - 20,000 A / 1 A. The ratio error and phase displacement of the CT under test obtained in this study are consistent with those measured at the national institute in Germany using the same CT under test within an expanded uncertainty (k = 2) in the overall current ratios.

We have developed two absolute evaluation technology of inductor using current transformer (CT) comparator. One is the method that the reactance of inductor is obtained by analysing the equivalent circuit of CT with inductor connected to series at secondary terminal of CT. The other is the method that the reactance of inductor is obtained by comparing phase displacement of current flowing on inductor by using CT comparator. These technologies have the advantage to apply up to rated current and voltage of inductor. The method was applied to inductors under test in the range of $100 {\mu}H{\sim}1\;H$. The inductance of the inductor under test obtained in this study are consistent with those measured by LCR meter using the same inductor within an expanded uncertainty (k = 2) in the overall range of inductance.
