HEMP 전도성 방해 펄스 전류 주입(PCI) 케이블의 영향 분석 (Analysis of PCI Cable Effects in HEMP Conducted Disturbance)

  • 고고도 핵폭발로 생성되는 고출력 전자기 펄스(HEMP)에 의해 복사성 방해 환경과 케이블 커플링에 의한 전도성 방해 환경이 조성된다. IEC 61000-2-10은 HEMP의 전도성 방해 환경에 대하여 정의한다. IEC 61000-5-5에는 HEMP 전도성 방해에 대한 보호 장치의 특성이 규정되어 있다. IEC 61000-4-24는 보호 장치에 대한 특성 측정 방법을 다루고 있다. IEC 61000-4-24:1997은 소형 보호 소자에 대한 측정 방법을 기술하고 있으나, 최근 많이 사용되고 있는 보호 소자와 필터가 결합된 형태의 조합형 필터에 대한 측정 방법은 미비한 상태이다. HEMP 전도성 방해 신호는 50 MHz 이하의 주파수 스펙트럼을 포함하고 있으므로 측정 셋업을 구성하는데 있어서 케이블의 굵기, 길이, 접지평면으로부터의 높이 등의 측정 셋업 파라미터의 특성을 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 HEMP 전도성 방해 전류 파형의 주파수 스펙트럼을 고려하고, 측정셋업에서 존재하는 케이블 파라미터의 영향을 분석하여 최적의 PCI 측정 방법을 도출하고자 한다.

북태평양(北太平洋) 중층(中層)트롤그물의 발달(發達) (The Development of Midwater Trawl Net in North Pacific Ocean)

  • The North Pacific midwater trawling which is one of the important fishing methods for Korean fishing industry is working in the Bering Sea and the sea near Kamchaka Peninsula. The catch by Korean midwater trawlers had been recorded about 300 thousands $^{M/_T}$ a year. Six types of midwater trawl net-ordinary midwater trawl net, super-V trawl net, super mesh trawl net, rope trawl net, super plus trawl net and kite trawl net-have been widely used by large trawlers above 1,500gt in size since 1982. Regarding the fishing efficiency, the super plus trawl net and kite trawl net were acknowledged as higher than other nets. Maximum mesh size of super-plus trawl net and kite trawl net ranges about 20m, whereas the length of net about 150m, and high-tech polyethylene is used as the material of rope part. The problems involved in the North Pacific midwater trawl net may be summarized as follows ; (1) The dimension of fishing gear is too big compared with the towing power of trawler. (2) The mesh size of the rope part is too big compared with that of the common netting part. (3) The net is often torn out in the connecting position of the rope part and the netting part. (4) The net is not matched with the trawler and the otter board in many trawlers, so the shape of the trawl gear in the water is instable. (5) The fish school located near head rope, ground rope and side rope in the net recorder is not caught in practice because of the net instability.

동중국해 북부해역에서의 살오징어(Todarodes pacificus) 유생의 분포 (Distribution of Larvae of the Common Squid Todarodes pacificus in the Northern East China Sea)

  • The common squid Todarodes pacificus is an ecologically and commercially important species in Korea and Japan. However, the distribution pattern of its eggs and larvae in Korean waters has not yet been clarified. To determine the horizontal and temporal distribution of common squid larvae in the northern East China Sea, samples collected using paired, 60 cm diameter Bongo nets from the three surveys conducted in August 2003, May 2004 and November 2005 were examined. In addition, the vertical distribution was examined from the samples collected using a $1\;m^2$ MOCNESS in April 1999 (20 m interval down to 100 m). A total of 218 larvae ranging in mantle length (ML) from 1.2 to 17.0 mm were counted at 27 stations. Larval abundance was highest in May 2004. The larvae mainly occurred in the southeastern area of Jeju Island, where the water temperature and salinity at 50 m deep ranged from $15-23^{\circ}C$ and 34-34.6 psu, respectively. Most larvae were collected in the frontal zone, where the Tsushima Warm Current and inshore waters meet. The results from the MOCNESS samples showed that the larvae occurred mostly in 20-80 m depth ranges (about 90%), although collections were only conducted above 100 m. No significant differences in larval mantle lengths (ANOVA, P>0.05) were found among each depth interval. Given the occurrence sites of the larvae <2.0 mm ML, the spawning ground of this species appears to be within the northern East China Sea, mainly to the southeast and northeast of Jeju Island, in early spring.

배추무사마귀병 발생실태와 뿌리혹의 생성생태 (Survey of Field Conditions of Clubroot Disease Incidence of Chinese Cabbage in Major Production Areas and Ecology of Root Gall Development)

  • In 1997 surveys 82 out of 180 crucifer fields were infected with clubroot disease in a range of 1-100% of diseased plants and among crucifier crops Chinese cabbage was the most severe, In cropping systems Chinese cabbage-monocropping of Chinese cabbage-radish were found to be most common in major Chinese cabbage production areas. Welsh onion squash or paddy rice were also planted between cropping of Chinese cabbage. Paddy fields converted to upland were lowered in incidence of clubroot disease and fields with loam to silty loam soil were more severe in disease than those with sandy soil. Soil pH and organic contents were nor related to clubroot disease severity. Soil fauua such as total fungi bacteria actinomyces Pseudomonads and Bascillus were not correlated with severity of the disease. Root rall development on Chinese cabbage seedlings was initifially observed under a microscope 13 days after inoculation with Plasmodiophora brassicae but 18 days by naked eyes after inoculation. Root galls were formed mostly around collar roots and gradually spread to main root lateral roots and secondary root branches. Root galls started to enlarge greatly in size and weight from 23 days after inoculation. Chinese cabbage plants at mid-growth stage with root gall development were reduced to 1/2 of that of healthy plants in number of leaves 1/4-1/5 in above ground fresh weight 1/6 in root length but increased to 3 times in diameter of collar root. Diseased plants had little root hairs. Diseased Chinese cabbage plants at harvest were reduced by 9,1-11.8% in head weight compared to healthy plants a positive correlation was observed between root and head weight but those relationships were rot found in the diseased plants.

Differences in Tree Growth and Nutrient Absorption of Persimmon (Diospyros kaki) and Date Plum (D. lotus) Seedlings

  • D. kaki and D. lotus are used as rootstocks for astringent persimmons in Korea but characteristics of their seedlings have not been determined. In this experiment, their seeds were sown in 3-L pots on April 18 and the seedlings were grown until October 24. Growth and nutrient absorption were compared at the end of the season after destructively harvesting the seedlings. Seedling growth of D. lotus was much faster than that of D. kaki in terms of total stem length, stem diameter, and number of leaves. However, chlorophyll value and specific leaf weight were higher in D. kaki than in D. lotus. Dry weight of D. lotus was 3.6- and 3.7-fold higher than that of D. kaki in above-ground parts and the root, respectively. D. kaki seedlings were characterized by higher concentrations of N, P, K, Ca, and Mg in the leaves, stem, or the root. However, total contents of the elements were 1.8- to 3.7-fold higher in a D. lotus seedling due to its greater dry weight. Since D. lotus seedlings absorbed more inorganic elements on a tree basis and grew more vigorously than D. kaki seedlings, the level of fertilization for astringent persimmons should be adjusted depending on rootstocks to maintain the trees at the optimum vigor.

제주지역에서 구경크기에 따른 식용 Canna의 생육특성 및 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Bulb Size on Agronomic Characteristics and Yield of Food Canna in Jeju Island)

  • 본 시험은 제주도 화산회토양에서 식용 Canna의 구경크기에 따른(10, 15, 20, 25cm) 생육특성 및 수량을 구명하기 위하여 2003년 5월 20일부터 11월 24일까지 시험하였다. 초장은 구경크기 l0cm 파종에서 78.8cm 이었던 것이, 구경크기가 커짐에 따라 점차적으로 커져서 구경 25cm 크기에서는 129.1cm 커졌다($y^*=2.71x+60.7667$). 구경크기에 따른 엽장, 엽폭, 엽수, 분지수, 경직경 및 구경수는 초장반응과 비슷한 경향이었다. 생초수량, 구경수량 및 총 생체수량(지상부중+구경중)은 구경 10cm 파종구에서 각각 14M7/ha, 15MT/ha, 29MT/ha이었으나, 구경크기가 커짐에 따라 점차적으로 증가되어, 구경 25cm 크기 파종구에서 생초수량은 31.2MT/ha, 구경수량은 35.6MT/ha, 총 생체수량은 66.8MT/ha로 증수되었다.

완도(莞島)지역 황칠나무의 자생지 환경 및 생육특성 (Growth Characteristics and Native Environment of Dendropanax morbifera LEV. in Wando, Korea)

  • 황칠나무 재배의 기초 자료를 얻고자 우리나라 남부해안 지대인 완도 지역의 황칠나무 자생지 환경조사와 재배지의 수령별 생육특성을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 황칠나무는 완도 지역에 광범위 하게 자생하고 있었으며, 대부분 해발 $30{\sim}280m$의 산에 분포하고 있었고, 특히 해발 $50{\sim}150m$ 부근에서 빈도(頻度)가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 자생지의 방향은 주로 동남향에 분포되었고, 지형은 사면에 자생하고 있었다. 2. 자생지의 토양은 $PH\;5.2{\sim}5.4$로 약산성이며, 유기물 함량도 $8.4{\sim}9.8%$로 일반재배 토양보다 높은 경향이었고, 토양수분은 $18.2{\sim}21.3%$로 비교적 습기가 많은 지역에 자생하고 있었다. 3. 황칠나무의 개화는 6년생묘에서 최초로 시작되었고 개화시기는 7월 중순경이었다. 6년생묘의 생육상은 수고 129.8cm, 경직경 34.1mm 잎수는 15.4매, 엽병장은 12.9cm가 생장하였다.

낙동강하구 을숙도 갯벌에서 새섬매자기의 생육 특성 (Growth Characteristics of Bolboschoenus planiculmis on the Eulsuk Tidal Flat of the Nakdong River Estuary, Korea)

  • Bolboschoenus planiculmis is an important prey species for winter migratory birds in the Nakdong River Estuary region, but its population has declined in the last decade due to a physio-chemical shift. To identify the growth and development characteristics of B. planiculmis, we carried out an experimental survey on the aboveground and belowground sections of B. planiculmis specimens in the Eulsuk tidal flat from April to September 2019. We divided the belowground area into two groups: a vegetation group in which B. planiculmis exists and a non-vegetation group in which B. planiculmis does not exist and measured the rate of tubers. We observed a 45% appearance frequency in the vegetation group and only a 5% frequency in the non-vegetation group, indicating that there were no supplies for plant growth. The mean density, length, and biomass of B. planiculmis aboveground were 166.90±149.62 n m-2, 44.39±5.45 cm, and 67.63±54.46 g DW m-2, respectively, which was approximately half of those obtained from the study in the Eulsuk tidal flat in 2002. Tuber number was the highest in the 15~25 cm deep layer(41.50%). The mean number of total tubers belowground was related to different sediment conditions(FS: flat surface, DS: disturbed surface) 251.75±16.86 n pot-1 for FS and 171.00±25.18 n pot-1 for DS, which was significantly different(total tubers: p<0.005). The mean biomass of B. planiculmis above-ground was 21.11±1.60 g DW pot-1 for FS and 15.41±1.38 g DW pot-1 for DS, which was significantly different(p<0.05). This research provides primary materials for the restoration of the Nakdong River Estuary, wintering sites for migratory birds, and protection of B. planiculmis.

수경재배 양액 내 탄산정 처리에 의한 상추의 생육 및 생리활성물질 함량 변화 (Changes in Growth and Bioactive Compounds of Lettuce According to CO2 Tablet Treatment in the Nutrient Solution of Hydroponic System)

  • 수경재배시 양액 내 탄산정처리를 통한 상추의 생육 및 생리활성물질 변화를 조사하기 위해 네덜란드에서 시판되는 고형 탄산정을 사용하였다. 실험은 무처리를 대조구로 하여 0.5배, 1배, 2배 처리구로 구성하였다. 실험결과, 탄산정 처리 후 챔버내 대기 CO2 농도는 처리 직후 2배 처리구에서 472.2µL·L-1로 가장 높은 수치를 보였으며, 양액내 pH는 2배 처리구는 pH 6.03로 가장 많이 감소하였다. 이후 시간이 경과함에 따라 CO2 농도와 pH는 처리 전 수준으로 회복하는 모습을 나타냈다. 상추의 엽폭과 엽면적은 탄산정 2배 처리시 17.1cm, 1067㎠로 가장 큰값을 나타내었으며 지상부 생체중, 건물 중은 0.5배 처리구에서 63.87g, 3.08g으로 가장 높게 나타났다. 상추의 근장은 대조구에서 28.4cm로 가장 길었으나 처리구들간에 지하부의 생체중, 건물중은 유의적인 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 외관상 탄산정 처리에 의해 상추의 근장이 짧아지고 곁뿌리가 많이 발생한 것이 관찰되었다. 또한 뿌리가 갈색으로 약간 변하는 결과가 있었지만, 지상부 생육에는 부정적인 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 탄산정 처리에 의한 상추의 생리활성물질을 분석한 결과 chlorogenic acid와 quercetin 두가지 물질이 검출되었으며 이를 정량분석한 결과 1배 처리구에서 chlrogenic acid는 대조구보다 249% 증가하였지만 quercetin은 37% 감소한 결과를 나타냈다. 항산화 활성을 나타내는 DPPH 라디컬 소거능을 비교한 결과 대조구와 0.5배 처리가 1배, 2배 처리보다 유의적으로 높은 값을 나타냈다. 이를 통해 탄산정 처리가 수경재배 상추의 생육과 생리활성물질을 증대에 효과가 있음을 제시한다.

Growth, yield and mineral element responses to temperature in Codonopsis lanceolata

  • Temperature has an adverse effect for potential growth and development of Codonopsis lanceolata. The present study examined the responses of growth, yield and mineral element contents under temperature variables in C. lanceolata. Plant height exhibited the best result as being 2 m or higher the open field culture, while the growth is the most restricted in the $30^{\circ}C$. The open field culture also had the largest number of leaves in the early stage of growth. The number of leaves and the height tended to be increased with the temperature of $20^{\circ}C$ and $25^{\circ}C$. The number of branches showed no significance as 32 branches and 26 branches in open field culture and $20^{\circ}C$, respectively. The smallest number of branches was observed in the $30^{\circ}C$ with 15 branches. The leaf color recorded the lowest value in the open field culture unlike the growth above the ground. But all other temperature had no significance with the leaf color value between 50.0 and 52.6. The elevated temperature induced the thinner and shorter diameter and length of root. However, the root diameter was not significantly changed with the change of 1.8 cm and 2.1 cm at open field culture, with $20^{\circ}C$ and $25^{\circ}C$, respectively. The fresh weights of the primary root and lateral roots were 6.3 g and 3.1 g, respectively, at the high temperature. The result showed the thickening of the lowest part under the ground as restricted. The fresh weights of the main root and lateral root were the highest on the open field culture, 20.6 g and 12.2 g, respectively. The contents of cellulose were the highest as 4.41% in the $20^{\circ}C$, followed by the open field culture, $25^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$. The higher temperature reduced the contents of cellulose. Moreover, P showed higher ratio in the high temperature while Ca and Mg exhibited the higher ratio towards the low temperature. On the contrary, minor quantity (less than 1%) of mineral nutrients was observed towards all temperature variables.
