This study has been carried out to examine the characteristics of anti-H. pylori antibodies of milk produced from cows immunized with antigen of Helicobacter pylori such as peculiarity of antigen antibody, agglutination of H. pylori strain, stability of antibody against acid, alkali and heat treatments. The molecular weight of anti-H. pylori antibody measured by SDS-PAGE were turned out as about 50 kDa in the heavy chain and about 24 kDa in the light chain. Twenty protein bands were visualized in H. pylori interacting with anti-H. pylori antibody which was made in dairy cow by immunization with H. pylori. The western blotting was peformed in order to examine the antigen peculiarity of anti-H. pylori, The results were all 7 antigen substances including serum, furified serum, whey and furified whey could be confirmed and the major antigen substances were 97, 66,34 kDa of molecular weight. As a result of agglutination response anti-H. pylori antibody in whey showed 1/10 agglutination value against H. pylori. In stability test about acid and alkali of antibody, there was $100\%$ activated at the range of $pH5\~pH10$. In stability test about heat, the antibody showed stable condition at $60^{\circ}C$ for 60 minutes and comparatively stable condition at $70^{\circ}C$, but reduced activation to $40\%$ after 60 minutes. It maintained $77\%$ activation at $80^{\circ}C$ for 4 minutes and comparatively stable at $100^{\circ}C$ for 1 minute.

Changes of lipid composition in the Improvement-Meju inoculated with Aspergillus oryzae were examined. To investigate those changes systematically, silicic acid column chromatography was used for analysis of glycolipid, neutral lipid, phospholipid, and gas chromatography to examine the change of those fatty acid content. Following results were obtained. The lipid fraction obtained from soaked soybean and cooked soybean were mainly composed of about 93~94% neutral lipid, whereas phospholipid and glycolipid was 4.0~5.0%, 2.0~2.1% level, respectively. During meju incuvation period, neutral lipid decreased gradually, but glycolipid and phospholipid increased. Among the nonpolar lipids prepared from cooked soybean and soaked soybean, triglyceride content was mainly composed of 88~89%, and the content of sterol ester, free fatty acid, diglyceride and sterol was higher in soaked soybean than in cooked soybean. During meju incuvation period, triglyceride content decreased remarkablely, whereas content of sterol ester, free fatty acid and diglyceride increased gradually. From the soaked soybean and the cooked soybean, the fatty acids content of crude lipid, neutral lipid, glycolipid and phospholipid were composed of linoleic acid 54~70%, oleic acid 20.0~22.6%, palmitic acid 11.0~12.4%, linolenic acid 6.0~7.8% and stearic acid 3.4~4.3% in turn and myristic acid showed the trace, palmitic acid was a little higher in glycolipid and phospholipid than in crude lipid and neutral lipid. During meju incuvation period, the change of fatty acid content showed linoleic acid and linolenic acid reduction gradually in the neutral lipid, glycolipid and phospholipid. On the other hand, palmitic acid, stearic acid and oleic acid increased gradually, the maximum value was at the 4-days. The change of glycolipid fatty acid and phospholipid fatty acid was examined. 9-kinds including traced 3-kinds was detected. It was supposed that traced 2-kinks was occurred for incuvation, and those are the matter investigating in the future.
In the analysis of variance between population and between individual trees (families), the fluctuation of values of variances due to sample size, (number of family) was analysed by two different designs, i.e. 2-level nested design with equal sample size and randomized complete block design. The variables were seedling heights and root calipers of 1-0 and 1-1 seedlings of Pinus densiflora S. et Z. The details of three natural stands and their progeny characters were presented in previous reports. 1. In nested design analysis. increase of sample size resulted the decrease of F-values among families in general, however, the F-values among populations showen the increasing tendency. The smaller the sample size, the larger the F-values fluctuation was resulted in general. At the point of beyond sample size 10, however, the fluctuation become to be stabilized. The F-value fluctuation seemed to be more in the case of analysis with random sampling method than with sequentially accumulated sampling method. And also such a tendency was more obvious in smaller sample size than in large one. 2. In R.C.B.D. analysis, the sample size to affirm the family variation was smaller than that for population variations.

In this study, we investigated the antioxidative activity (scavenging activity of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical and superoxide anion radical) and anti-obesity effects of black bean chungkugjang extract (BBCE). DPPH free radical-scavenging activity and superoxide anion radical-scavenging activity ($SC_{50}$ value) of BBCE were $162.7{\pm}2.8$ ppm, and $205.62{\pm}3.6$ ppm, respectively. The anti-obesity effects of BBCE were investigated by measuring Oil Red O staining in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. BBCE reduced the content of Oil Red O dye in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. We also examined the effects of BBCE on adiposity, serum lipid, and leptin levels in obese mice fed a high-fat diet. Mice were fed the BBCE experimental diets for 7 weeks, after which they were sacrificed. ICR male mice were randomly divided into three groups, one normal diet group (ND group) and two high fat diet groups with or without BBCE supplementation (HFD group and HFD-BBCE group). The results showed that weight gain and the food efficiency ratio significantly decreased upon addition of BBCE compared to those of the HFD group. Further, white adipose tissue weights of epididymal, mesenteric, and retroperitoneal areas in the HFD-BBCE group were reduced to 34.8%, 7.1%, and 40.6%, respectively, compared to that of the HFD group. The serum levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, and leptin in the HFD-BBCE group were significantly lower than those of the HFD group. Based on these results, it can be concluded that BBCE may have beneficial effects on reducing fat mass and serum lipid content.
The optimal pH of the extraction buffer was 7.5 considiering AChE stability and its buffer capacity when AChE was isolated and extracted from the housefly(Musca domesitca L.)and three other insect species with 0.01 M sodium phosphate buffer. Also, the optimal pH of the reaction buffer was 7.5 considering enzyme activity and its buffer capacity when AChE activity was measured with the substrate in 0.1 M sodium phosphate buffer. The Potter Elvehjem type homogenizer with Teflon pestle was used to homgenize the tissues. When preparing a AChE suspension by centrifuging the homogenate, 700 g supernatant of adult head for the housefly, 700 g supernatnat of 5th instar nymphal whole body for the brown planthopper, lipid-eliminated 10,000 g supernatant of 5th instar larval whole body for the diamondback moth, and 700 g supernatant of 4th instar larval head for the tobacco cutworm were considered satisfactory as enzyme sources in view of mass preparation, extraction efficiency and stability of enzyme activity during evaluation. When AChE suspensions of 4 insect species were stored at $-18^{\circ}C$, more than 90% of activity was maintained up to 3 weeks. Km values of AChEs of the housefly, the brown planthopper, and the diamondback moth were 0.042, 0.037 and 0.043 mM, respectively and AChE-specific substrate inhibition was observed at high concentration. Km value of the tobacco cutworm ChE was 1.15 mM and BuChE characteristics was observed, though further study is needed. The optimal substrate concentration for the AChE inhibition tests was 0.5 mM for the housfly, the brown planthopper, and the diamondback moth and 12 mM for the tobacco cutworm.

To identify the species of Trichogramma occurring in the corn fields of Korea as egg parasitoids of Ostrinia furnacalis, we sequenced the full-length of ITS2 nuclear rDNA from 112 parasitoids collected during this study. As a reference to distinguish species, we also retrieved full-length ITS2 sequences of 60 Trichogramma species from the NCBI GenBank database. On the basis of the size and 3'terminal sequence pattern of the ITS2 sequences, the Trichogramma samples collected in this study were divided into three groups (K-1, -2, and -3). Evolutionary distances (d) within and between groups based on ITS2 sequences were estimated to be ${\leq}0.005$ and ${\geq}0.080$, respectively. In the net average distance between groups or species, the d value between K-1 and T. ostriniae, K-2 and T. dendrolimi, and K-3 and T. confusum was the lowest, with values of 0.016, 0.001, and 0.002, respectively. In the phylogenetic tree, K-1 and K-2 were clustered with T. ostriniae and T. dendrolimi, respectively. However, K-3 was clustered with three different species, namely, T. confusum, T. chilonis, and T. bilingensis. NCBI BLAST results revealed that parasitoids belonging to K-1 and K-2 showed 99% identity with T. ostriniae and T. dendrolimi, respectively. Parasitoids in K-3 collected from Hongcheon showed 99-100% identity with T. confusum and T. chilonis, and one parasitoid in K-3 collected from Gochang had 98% identity with T. bilingensis, T. confusum, and T. chilonis. On the basis of these results, we infer that the species of Trichogramma collected in this study are closely related to T. ostriniae (K-1) and T. dendrolimi (K-2). However, it was not possible to distinguish species of K-3 using the ITS2 sequence alone.
This study was performed to find out stomach contents of cold water fish such as Manchurian trout (Brachymystax lenok tsinlingensis) and River salmon (Oncorhynchus masou masou) in the Odae mountain area. Field survey was carried out 3 times by each season from May to October 2012 along the Gyebang stream and the Yangyang-Namdae stream at north-west mountain slope and north-east mountain slope of the Odae mountain area respectively. The result of digestive track analysis showed that food species of Manchurian trout were total individuals of 645 including 5 orders, 23 families, 39 species of benthic macroinvertebrates and 11 taxa of terrestial insects. And each IRI (Index of Relative Importance, %) value of food species by Manchurian trout was terrestial insects 37.0%, Trichoptera 36.4%, Ephemeroptera 20.0%, Diptera 3.9%, Plecoptera 2.7%, and Gordea <0.1%. While the River salmon fed on 1,186 individuals covering 4 orders, 20 families, 33 species of benthic macroinvertebrates and 6 taxa of terrestial insects including arachnid. Also IRI values by River salmon were terrestial insects including arachnid 2.7%, Ephemeroptera 52.9%, Trichoptera 27.9%, Diptera 9.4%, and Plecoptera 7.0% respectively. With these results, we might say that both Manchurian trout and River salmon is carnivorous fish which display the feeding preference to terrestial insects and benthic macroinvertebrates. As a results we could find out that the two kinds of cold water fish preferred similar habitat types and liked same order of food species in same season, however the compositions of food species for Manchurian trout and River salmon were considerably different.

The structural change and the electrical conductivity with Sr content in $La_{1-x}Sr_xMn_{0.8}Cu_{0.2}O_3$ (LSMCu) were studied. $La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2}MnO_3$ (LSM) and $La_{1-x}Sr_xMn_{0.8}Cu_{0.2}O_3$ ($0.1{\leq}x{\leq}0.4$) were synthesized by EDTA citric complexing process (ECCP). A decrease in the lattice parameters and lattice volumes was observed with increase of Sr content, and these results were attributed to the increasing $Mn^{4+}$ ions and $Cu^{3+}$ ions in B-site. The electrical conductivity measured from $500^{\circ}C$ to $1000^{\circ}C$ was increased with increase of Sr content in the $0.1{\leq}x{\leq}0.3$ composition range, and it was 172.6 S/cm (at $750^{\circ}C$) and 177.7 S/cm (at $950^{\circ}C$, the maximum value) in x = 0.3. The electrical conductivity was decreased in x = 0.4 because of the presence of the second phase in the grain boundaries. The lattice volume was contracted by increase of $Mn^{4+}$ ions and $Cu^{3+}$ ions in B-site according to increase of Sr content and the electrical conductivity was increased with increase of charge carriers which were involved in the hopping mechanism.

Objective : This study was designed to assess the heart rate variablitv of patients with Parkinson's disease according to Hoehn-Yahr stage. Methods : Subjects were voluntarily recruited by newspapers and internet. All the subjects are confirmed as idiopathic parkinson's disease by a neurologist. The patients were grouped by Hoehn-Yahr(H-Y) stage. Heart rate variability was measured for 5 minutes after 5 minutes' bed rest. Subjects were comprised of 3 groups which were H-Y stage I (n=14), H-Y stage H(n=9), H-Y stage III(n=7). We compared the heart rate variability of each groups by one-way ANOVA test. We also studied the relationship between UPDRS score and Heat rate variability components (SDNN, RMS-SD and TP) by pearson correlation analysis and simple linear regressin analysis Results: Age, duration was matched among groups. SDNN, RMS-SD, TP were significantly decreased as H-Y stage increased(p<0.05). Especially there was significant difference between H-Y stage I and III group(p<0.05). But other components(Heart rate, LF, HF, LF/HF ratio) were not showed significant difference. SDNN, RMS-SD and TP were significantly decreased as UPDRS scores increase(p<0.05). Conclusion : This study suggests that the function of the autonomic nervous system decreases as Parkinson`s disease progresses.
Pork loins that retailed in market were used as experimental samples. Some pork samples in raw state were packaged with PVDC in either aerobic or vacuum condition. The other pork samples were cooked until core temperature reached at 70$\^{C}$ and then packaged immediately in the same way with the raw samples. After these samples were irradiated by electron beam 6 kGy, the samples were stored in a refrigerator (2∼4$\^{C}$). Identification and quantification of cholesterol oxides were performed at 0 and 7 days. The results were following. During the early stage of storage, cholesterol oxides were not produced from the raw meat samples, but with the passage of storage time,7 $\alpha$-hydroxycholesterol, 7$\beta$-hydroxycholesterol, 7-ketocholesterol, 20 $\alpha$-hydroxycholesterol, $\beta$-epoxide and $\alpha$-epoxide, which were not produced during the early stage of storage, were produced. The production of cholesterol and lipid oxidation products were significantly higher (P<0.05) in the meats with aerobic packaging than those with vacuum packaging, Cooked meat after irradiation showed 7 $\alpha$-hydroxycholesterol, 7 $\beta$-hydroxycholesterol, $\alpha$-epoxide and cholestanetriol on the 7th day of storage, although those chemicals were not produced during the early stage of storage. Production of cholesterol oxides was significantly increased (P<0.05) with the passage of storage time for all treatments, and showed significantly lower value (P<0.05) with the vacuum packaging than these for aerobic packaging. Species of cholesterol oxides from irradiated meat after cooking were similar to those from cooked meat after irradiation. Collectively, it was found that the production of cholesterol oxides was more easily affected by packaging condition than irradiation.
