  • Though multi-panel structures lined with a poroelastic material have been widely used to reduce sound transmission in various fields, most of the previous works to design them were conducted by repeated analyses or experiments based on initially given configurations or sequences. Therefore, it was difficult to obtain the optimal sequence of multi-panel structures lined with a poroelastic material yielding superior sound isolation capability. In this work, we propose a new design method to sequence a multi-panel structure lined with a poroelastic material having maximized sound transmission loss. Being formulated as a one-dimensional topology optimization problem for a given target frequency, the optimal sequencing of panel-poroelastic layers is systematically carried out in an iterative manner. In this method, a panel layer is expressed as a limiting case of a poroelastic layer to facilitate the optimization process. This means that main material properties of a poroelastic material are treated as Interpolated functions of design variables. The designed sequences of panel-poroelastic layers were shown to be significantly affected by the target frequencies; more panel layers were used at higher target frequencies. The sound transmission loss of the system was calculated by the transfer matrix derived from Biot's theory.

자동차 부품에 대한 다축 진동내구 시험용 신호처리 방법 (Signal Processing for Multiaxial Vibration Fatigue Test on Vehicle Component)

  • Multi-axial simulation table(MAST) is widely used in motor companies as the multi-axial excitor for vibration fatigue of target component, which provides the vibrational condition as close as the vehicle test. However, the vibration fatigue performance of target component can be guaranteed with MAST system only in case the input profile covers the required severity of the target component on field test. In this paper, the signal processing for multi-axial vibration fatigue test on vehicle component is presented, from the data acquisition of the target component to the derivation of input profile. To compare the severity of vibration condition between field and proving ground, the energy principle of a equivalent damage is proposed and then, it is determined the optimal combination of special events on proving ground using a sequential searching optimal algorithm. To explain the vibration methodology clearly, seat and door component of vehicle are selected as a example.

  • One of the most important design factor for the image tracker is the speed of the data processing which allows real-time operation of the system and provides reasonably accurate performance at the same time. Use of powerful DSP alone does not guarantee to meet such requirement. In this paper, a simple efficient algorithm for real-time multi-target image tracking is suggested. The suggested method is based on a recursive centroiding technique and color table look-up. This method has been successfully implemented in a image processing system for Micro-Robot Soccer Tournament(MIROSOT). This tracker can track positions of a ball, 3 enemies, and 3 agents at the same time. The experimental results show that the processing time for each frame of image is less than 7ms, which is well within the 60Hz sampling interval for real-time operation.

다채널 조합형 계량기의 안정화 성능 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Measurement Time Reduction for Multi-Channel Combination Scale)

  • The performance of a multi-head, computerized combination scaling system to automatically identify a group of agricultural products having a total weight within the target range has been optimized to reduce the package cycle time of the merchandise. First, the structure of the scale was modified to enable faster measurement by enhancing the dynamic stability during the process. Second, the high frequency noise in the measured signal was eliminated by a high frequency filter to provide more accurate weight data. Finally, the algorithm to identify a group of products with a total weight within the target range was modified to enable a user to select an optimal number of scales. According to the experimental verifications, this modified system reduced the package cycle time significantly and also was accurate in measuring the total weight of the selected products.

긴 관통자에 의한 유한박판 및 적층표적재의 관통현상 연구 (On the Penetration Phenomena for Thin and Multi-Layered Finite Thickness Plates by a Long Rod Penetrator)

  • In this study, we re-examined the Tate's modified Bernoulli equation to study penetration phenomena for long rod projectile into single or multi-layered finite thickness plates. We used the force equlibrium equation at mushroomed nose/target interface instead of conventional pressure equation at the stagnation point. In our penetration model, we considered the velocity dependent $R_t$ value for semi-infinite target and considered only the back face effect for finite target. To compensate for $R_t$ value according to target's thickness and back face effect, we used the spherical cavity expansion theory for semi-infinite plate and used the cylindrical cavity expansion theory for finite plate. Also we developed the experimental technique using make screen to measure the penetration duration time at each layered plate. In 3-layered laminated RHA/mild steel/ A1 7039 plate, we observed that spall had occured around the back face of A1 7039 plate by the stress wave interaction. Through the comparison between theoretical and experimental data including Lambert's results, we conform that our study has good confidences.

자탄 추적을 위한 JPDAS 다중표적 추적알고리즘 (JPDAS Multi-Target Tracking Algorithm for Cluster Bombs Tracking)

  • JPDAF(Joint Probabilistic Data Association Filter)는 다중표적 추적에서 존재하는 표적에서 측정값들이 유래되었을 사후 확률을 이용하여 표적의 상태 추정치에 대한 갱신을 진행하는 방식이다. 이러한 JPDAF 방식에 고정구간 평활화(fixed-interval smoothing)기법을 적용하여 얻은 JPDAS(Joint Probabilistic Data Association Smoothing) 방식을 기반으로 이 논문에서는 모탄에서 분리되어 낙하하는 다수의 자탄에 대한 다중표적 추적알고리즘을 제안하였다. 독립적으로 JPDAF와 JPDAS를 이용한 다중표적 추적알고리즘을 100번 수행하여 얻은 표적의 상태 추정치와 표적의 실제 상태의 차이의 평균으로 두 다중표적 추적알고리즘의 성능을 비교하였다. 이를 기반으로, 제안한 JPDAS가 JPDAF보다 레이다의 표적 추적 문제에 대한 성능이 좋음을 보여주는 시뮬레이션 결과들이 제시되었다.

  • In this article we consider a single maneuvering target Tracking algorithm in the presence of missing measurements and high clutter environments for multi-sensor target tracking problem. The tracking algorithm is based on the Particle filtering method to predict and update target states. Proposed is the AMM-PF(Auxiliary Multiple Model Particle Filter)[2] method for maneuvering target tracking to improve performance in track estimate and maintenance with a high level of uncertainty. The algorithm we propose is compared to the Extended Kalman Filter(EKF). A simulation study is included.

  • 레이더는 표적으로부터 반사된 신호의 크기, 도플러 속도로부터 표적의 거리, 속도 정보를 알 수 있으며, 이런 반사 신호의 특징들은 표적의 반사 특성과 기동에 의해 결정된다. 표적의 위치 정보에 대한 각도 오차는 합채널에 대한 차채널의 크기 비로부터 추출된다. 본 논문에서는 다기능 레이더의 성능을 평가하고 분석하기 위한 레이더 반사 신호 모의 장치(RSSE)에 대해 소개하였다. 개발된 레이더 반사 신호 모의 장치는 다채널 직접 디지털 합성(MC-DDS)을 이용하여, 재밍 신호를 포함한 다중 표적 환경을 모사할 수 있도록 구현되었으며, 효율적인 하드웨어 구조 설계를 통해 모사할 수 있는 표적의 수를 용이하게 확장할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 개발된 모의 장치의 요구 성능 및 기능을 시험 환경에서 확인하였으며, 신호 처리기(RSP)와의 연동 시험 구성에서 표적 탐지 성능을 입증하였다.

다중표적을 위한 최적 데이터 결합기법 연구 (A study on the Optimal Adaptive Data Association for Multi-Target Tracking)

  • This paper proposed a scheme for finding an optimal adaptive data association for multi-target between measurements and tracks. First, we assume the relationships between measurements as Mrkov Random Field. Also assumed a priori of the associations as a Gibbs distribution. Based on these assumptions, it was possible to reduce the MAP estimate of the association matrix to the energy minimization problem. After then, we defined an energy function over the measurement space, that may incorporate most of the important natural constraints. Through the experiments, we analyzed and compared this algorithm with other representative algorithms. The result is that it is stable, robust, fast enough for real timecomputation, as well as more accurate than other methods.
